Años queriendo probarlo, y ha sido un éxito, las raciones muy bien de Calidad/cantidad, y a los que se quejan de los precios, deben estar acostumbrados a baja calidad y bajo precio… en fin, un hojaldre hecho en el momento como el del solomillo al foie no se hace de igual manera que el pan del mugre King al que estáis acostumbrados… lleva un poquito más de trabajo… 100% recomendable! Seguid así, habéis ganado unos clientes!

Excelente restaurante en Madrid. Nunca he salido decepcionado. Relación calidad precio más que aceptable. Servicio de mesas también excelente, suelo ir con la familia y nos reunimos aproximadamente 10 pax, siempre bien!!! Más restaurantes de estos hacen falta, con fundamento y menos fusión de tres al cuarto!

No hay nada más agradable que volver a un restaurante como éste que pasando el tiempo sigue dando un excelente servicio. La carta amplia, los platos perfectos de calidad y elaboración, ideal las medias raciones porque no todos pueden comer la misma cantidad y además es ideal cuando son pocos los comensales, las croquetas de bacalao estupendas, por poner un ejemplo y sin que desmerezcan los demás platos. Y el servicio profesional, correcto y cercano. No se puede pedir más en un restaurante tradicional.

Amazing food, great ambience, and some of the best service I've had in Madrid. We ate fresh artichoke, sizzling prawns, the monkfish, clams in green sauce, fried anchovies and the white chocolate mousse. Absolutely delicious. Barona wine was also phenomenal!

What a special place to dine! Thank God we found this restaurant earlier on in our holiday as it gave us the opportunity to return and return. Specialising in Basque cuisine, this I must say is more than a restaurant and going there is not just about filling up after a day's roaming. The food here is made and served with love and the host and staff welcomed us warmly and took care of us like family. There are quite a number of appetizing dishes on offer but we did fall in love with the fish soup (amazing), the Txiangurro (this will last in my memory), the oxtail stew and the baked hake in red king prawn sauce (wonderful). They offer a kids' selection too and our son loved the croquetas al jamon. I loved the fact that they also provide the option of half or full portions for each of their dishes. Quite a selection of wines and for desserts we loved the generous cream puff pastry and the sleek apple pie with icecream. They were also very attentive to our nut and sesame allergies; anyone who suffers from food allergies knows how important this is. The fact that it was full of locals on Friday night says it all; if we lived in Madrid, this is the kind of restaurant I would seek for those special moments or to wind down over a lovely meal and good bottle of wine. Sin duda, un lugar muy especial con personas y un servicio muy amable. We will cherish the memories here and will definitely have to return once in Madrid.

Las colmenillas de temporada rellenas de foi estaban espectaculares. Buen lugar familiar con gran variedad de platos y hay opciones fuera de carta. Se sirvió la comida rápido y el servicio era muy amable y atento. Otros platos que ven en las fotos es el txangurro al horno y las molleja. Posibilidad en casi todos los platos de pedir media ración o completa. Yo en mi caso pedí media para probar más cosas.

Fuimos a la cena de empresa de Navidad y todo estaba muy rico. Lo malo es que al estar tan pegadas las mesas en la zona de arriba, era imposible para el camarero pasar a retirar y colocar la comida o servir las bebidas… un fallo tremendo, aunque lo ayudamos, pero aún así se les hace muy difícil porque hay platos que suben calientes.

El bacalao club ranero estuvo excepcional, la merluza en salsa verde y la merluza rellena fueron un poco decepcionantes. Nos chocó que te cobrarán tres euros por el pan/aperitivo. Balance, repetiríamos pero seríamos más cuidadosos en elegir los platos.

Nos ha encantado. Sitio rústico, muy típico del País Vasco, y la calidad de TODO también como allí. Además el servicio ha sido también de gran calidad y no pongo 5* porque nos ha faltado por probar los segundos aunque no nos queda ninguna duda al respecto. Volveremos a por la quinta estrella

Reservamos para comida del domingo, pedimos dos entrantes, boletus (repetimos) de temporada y alcachofas confitadas, la calidad de la materia prima hacen de estos platos deliciosos. Como principal pedimos chuletón para dos pero aquí nos quedamos decepcionados ya que no era el corte que pedimos y la carne estaba llena de nervios y bastante dura. Pedimos unos 1,2 kg aprox pero nos han cobrado el 1kg a 66€. De postre nos pedimos una panchineta y estaba rica. Para dos personas de buen comer pagamos 156€. La atención es agradable y nos han tratado de 10 por eso esperamos volver y probar otros platos. Me da la sensación que podría mejorar mi reseña con un 5 ⭐️

Era uno de mis restaurantes vascos preferidos en Madrid. Pero hoy no puedo decir lo mismo. Hemos ido a comer bacalao al pilpil, siempre que he ido he comido este plato, uno de mis favoritos. Es verdad que, con el paso de los años, la ración era cada vez más escasa pero con la misma calidad y bien hecho. Hoy no quedaba, me he descolocado y no sabía qué pedir, nunca me había pasado. He pedido merluza en salsa de carabineros. Un desastre, tajada pequeña y súper hecha. La merluza si se pasa de punto se destroza. Tenía que haberla devuelto. Se lo he dicho al final, solo para que lo supieran. No se puede presentar un pescado así a 26€ la ración. Si le doy 2 estrella es por la buena atención de alguno de los camareros, especialmente el gallego. El rape muy bien de punto. La corvina muy buena pero ración muy escasa. Los entrantes muy buenos, pero también tienen un pero, nos han cobrado 20€ por una ración de croquetas, cuando en carta eran 12 creo, lo he visto ya después. He preguntado si se podían poner mixtas, bacalao y jamón, me han dicho que sí, que una de cada clase por comensal. Imagino que iba alguna más de la ración, pero no lo han dicho y han cobrado todas por unidad. Se me ha caído todo un clásico. No creo que vuelva, la merluza bien podía ser un plato de un menú de 25€. Una pena. Jesús ha dicho que volvería para el bacalao, pues no lo creo.

There was a plastic tag INSIDE our steak, like the ones for sales labels on new clothes. We asked for an explanation and amazingly were told ‘oh it’s nothing to worry about, it’s just the tag from the steak’ (!!) and not even a shadow of an apology. Things can happen but pretending it’s normal to feed plastic to your customers is just unacceptable. Won’t go back.
