Sin dudas la mejor paella que he comido en mi vida. Repetimos 2 veces en 5 días. Y la atención del personal es súper cálida y agradable. Es otra atracción madrileña infaltable para el turista que disfruta de la buena gastronomía!

La comida y el servicio estaban muy bien. La paella estaba riquísima, aunque para mí gusto le faltaba un poco de reposo para que tuviera menos caldillo. Aún así es una cosa personal y de sabor estaba excelente. Si quieres tomar paellas ricas en Madrid este es tu sitio

Hemos comido arroz señoret, arroz negro, ensaladilla rusa, milhojas de morcilla, croquetas de rabo de toro. Además de la ensalada de cangrejo de aperitivo y el excelente vino de la casa. Todo exquisito, muy bueno Incluidos postres q estaban deliciosos también y buen café. Todo ello servido por un gran profesional, rápido y muyyy amable. Todos los camareros lo eran pero éste destacaba.Los precios ajustados a la calidad de la comida. Una gran experiencia. El único pero sería la ubicación, muy difícil para aparcar por no decir imposible y por lo tanto para ir con personas con problemas de movilidad o personas mayores

Dear people, The food is very good we ordered 3 diffrent paellas they were all good only one of then was a bit dry, but the tast of them was good! The ambiance was a bit loud, but nothing to extreme, just to be avoided if you have a migrain. Design rustik very warm and cozy. The servants were the highlight for me but you have to like that spanish style of handling things. Old people who knew their work, had lil jokes here and there. I can only recommend it, who does like fish pealla they have meat options and even one or two vegetarian option.

If you are looking for the best paella in Madrid, D’Stapa is the place. We’ve been working in Madrid for a few weeks (from London), we love Spain, and have been going to all the top rated Paella restaurants. Hands down, this one was the best. Food amazing, service excellent. Rice cooked perfected, with some bite, and the slightly crunchy pieces around the side, meats tender (we went for meat version), and full of flavour. It filled us up for the day. Although we hadn’t booked anywhere, and there was no space, but the restaurant kindly setup a table outside. It was 3 degrees in January, so nippy, but well worth the lunch (and we found it amusing) so best book in advance.

This restaurant, without a doubt, is the best one (and top-of-mind) we had during our 2-week trip in Spain/ Portugal. Being an Asian with rice as the main staple, I would say the way they cook "arroz" is truly amazing and up-to-standard - at least for the palate of an Asian.

Legitimate paella, ours -two seafood- were absolutely delicious: flavorful and the socarrat was on point. We had 3 apps: jamon plate, pork belly, carpaccio: all very good. Have a tinto de verano as well. Service was great.

If you’re in Madrid - this is a must-visit restaurant for their delicious food, impeccable service, and cozy ambiance. Their Senyoret (seafood paella) was the tastiest paella we’ve ever had! Perfectly crispy rice, flavorful shrimp/monkfish/mussels, and generous portions. Our server Mark was also the sweetest! 10/10 - must visit when in Madrid.

Had an amazing experience at this restaurant! We didn’t have a reservation, but the staff was so welcoming and quickly found us a table. I ordered the seafood paella with shrimp, prawns, and mussels — absolutely delicious! It paired perfectly with a refreshing sangria, and the chocolate cake dessert was the perfect way to end the meal. Fantastic food and outstanding service. Highly recommend!

I can confidently say I enjoyed the best paella I’ve ever tasted. From the moment the dish arrived, the aroma alone set the tone – smoky, rich, and inviting. The paella itself was perfection: the rice had that wonderful balance of being tender but not mushy, infused with layers of flavor from the saffron and stock. The seafood was incredibly fresh – plump shrimp, tender calamari, tasted like they’d just been pulled from the ocean. It showed real attention to detail and mastery in the kitchen. Beyond the food, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The staff were attentive without being intrusive. Liz was our waiter and she was amazing!!! It felt like more than just a meal – it was an experience.

We had a lovely dinner here. Delicious paella and wine. We had the seafood paella for four people and it was so flavourful and the texture was perfect. The rice and seafood were tasty. The house white wine paired so well with it. And the service was also attentive and friendly. Highly recommend.

Lovely Paella place. Didn't want to go for seafood so seeked out a good place for Paella Valeciana, this place seemed highly recommended. We came here for lunch without a reservation on a sunday around 1PM, there were no tables outside but we asked if they could set up a table for us outside, and after acknowledging their warning that we'll get toasted by sun later (which came in around 2:30PM), they were happy to set up a table for us outside. We had the Paella Valenciana and the cheesecake, both of which were delicious. Great first paella experience for us :) Lis was very helpful throughout it all, she was very cheerful and sweet.

You will not be disappointed ! The fried eggplants with sugar cane is not to be missed. The seafood paella was amazing. The cheese cake was very smooth and creamy! The staff are amazing.

Buen sitio para comer arroces. Luces y sombras . Torreznos ricos y sabrosos. Servicio en barra un poco lento.... Tampoco estábamos muchos y era difícil pedir. El carpacho no lo pediría , muy caro y no me dijo nada, sin sabor casi. Los arroces el de pato y foie estaba rico el pato , el foie ... Desapercibido y el arroz sin sabor casi.pero el pato superó rico y sabroso pero el arroz , no sabía a nada de esto. El señoret estaba súper rico y jugoso, si le volvería a pedir. Tarta de queso cremosa y jugosa y el postre de muerte por chocolate también muy rico. Servicio de los camareros muy recomendable , amables y atentos en todo momento

Estábamos de viaje en España. La atención fue buena, aunque teníamos reserva para las 4:30 p. m. y nos ingresaron hasta las 4:50 p. m. Éramos un grupo de 11 personas. La entrada da la impresión de ser un lugar pequeño y no muy bonito, pero por dentro es mucho mejor. La picaña estuvo muy deliciosa y la paella para 5 personas es muy grande y muy buena. En general, una buena experiencia.

Nov 2025 US Travelers, party of 4 Our meal (Paella, salad, wine, cheesecake) was fantastic. No leftovers for us! We Ubered to the restaurant - it’s tucked away but worth the effort to find. Small- make reservations as place is busy! Would have been a 5⭐️ rating but our service was slower than normal & I was solicited for a tip ( we’re Americans but travel Europe & know the tipping culture & practices). No bueno. Hope that was a one off- strongly recommend!

From Xiaohongshu, I'm told that their seafood rice is calculated per person? 23.5 euros per person, and there's also a table charge of 2 euros per person. This cake was really delicious and very delicate. However, the seafood in the paella was not fresh. The shrimp I ate even smelled bad and I couldn't eat them. The saltiness was okay, but it was much better than what we had in Barcelona. But it was still a little bit salty.

Nice atmosphere, though as of July 4th, 2025 there is a construction outside working on the building facade. We ordered the seafood paella, the rice flavor was good, but the shrimps and octopus rings were tiny and not much taste. The service was very good.

Tenía muchas ganas de probar esta arrocería pero, aunque recomiendo el restaurante por sus arroces -nosotros pedimos uno de la huera y otro del senyoret-, me pareció terrible que cobrasen 10€ de servicio (algo ilegal en España, por cierto) en concepto de un trozo de pan por persona. Creo que solo por este motivo no volvería. Otra pega es que el salón es bastante agobiante (pequeño, sin luz natural, techos bajos tipo cueva y bastante ruido).

La comida bastante buena, nos sorprendieron los arroces y los camareros muy amables. Repetiría si no fuera porque nos han cobrado por el cubierto 2€/persona y no nos ha parecido nada bien pues ni siquiera estaba anunciado ese cobro adicional
