Mu! Madrid Reviews
Gracias
Buena carne argentina y chorizo criollo, a precio asequible. Tambien tienen milanesas! Ambiente tranquilo.
Excelente relacion calidad-precio.
€17 set meal is great value for money. Empanadas and the steak were tasty and full of flavour. Would definitely recommend
We dined here for dinner and had the €17 set meal, which was excellent value for money. The food was tasty and well presented, and the staff were friendly, attentive, and quick to serve, (cheers to Hugo and the staff at the bar whos helping him). A lovely experience in a small restaurant.
We stumbled upon this restaurant looking for something highly rated and walkable from our hotel. We were not disappointed. The food was great, there was Air Conditioned area to sit in, everything was clean and the staff was friendly. It was a great value of 17.50 for 4 courses included a drink. We had the empanada, steak, desert and drink (wine, beer, water or soda)
The food was incredible. The price of €17.50 for an appetizer, side, steak, drink, and a dessert is a steal. The skirt steak was cooked to perfection and delightfully tender. The staff was attentive and helpful. The only negative I could give the restaurant is that it does not have outdoor seating. However, if in Madrid, Mu is a must.
Great visit! Hugo was helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. We ordered the one choice which included an appetizer (sausage or a meat empenada), an entre (steak and a side), desert (flan and other choices), and a glass of wine, a beer, or a soft drink. The food was so good. Everything we had was fresh, cooked to perfection, and oh so delicious. We had gone to a more expensive restaurant the day before. While that one was quite good with a wonderful ambiance; Mu! With it's less formal setting, had measurably better food.
The place deserves all 5 stars!!! Meat was amazing, atmosphere was nice as well. The price for the day menu needs to be 100% higher, because the quality you get for just 15 euros is insanely great!!!! The price needs to be 20-25 euros at least!!! The waiter is a great and welcoming guy!🫶🏻 Highly recommend this place🙌🏻
The Angus beef steak was good for my son opinion. The vagtable salad that I order was without any dressing with it except olive oil&balsami, very disappointed. We order ampanadas as first dish and we have to cancel it because the main course arrive before ....
The restaurant was modest. As you walked in you were greeted by staff who were very kind and friendly. We went to celebrate an anniversary as well as a birthday. We ordered the shared parrilla which in my opinion it’s one of the best offers in the menu! The parrilla includes 2 different empanadas, morcilla, a side of salad and Fries. For the main parrilla we had all sorts of beef cuts varying from ribs to flanks… etc. It also included chicken. For an additional cost of 5€, you could get a better bottle of wine instead of the house wine. To conclude our already great dinner we ordered a Flan with dulce de leche! 1 portion was more than enough for 2 people, and it hits the right spot after a nice meal! Overall the restaurant and the experience was great and would recommend to anyone who is looking for something modest with good food and not overly expensive.
Had the set menu at about 20 euros which was reasonable value for money. I got blood sausage which was delicious followed by ribs which were good but not great and a rice pudding which was straight from a can but OK nonetheless. Expected a little better from an Argentinean steak house but to be fair it was a cheaper set menu.
Went due to the abundance of high rated reviews. The restaurant is super nice and the waiters are pleasant. But the meat was just mediocre at best. Price was good but would have paid more for something more tasty. It could be that all the portions were just fine too Much. One dish was actually medium and was tasty. Empanadas were excellent!
The chorizo sausage was tasty but the grilled chicken was fatty and greasy. Fries were also greasy and they were thin style. Wait for food was quite long even though the restaurant was almost empty. I’m sure that the rice pudding was not homemade, straight out of a can. I ordered separate items and realised later that I had basically ordered the set meal, and then I noticed my meal was exactly the same as a person sat next to me, the same size portion, but they had ordered the set meal. When paying the bill the waiter tried to argue that mine was bigger but it wasn’t true. I could have ordered two set meals and had double the amount of food for almost the same price that I paid (€29.90 vs 2x€16.50). Won’t be back, low equality food and low quality service. Not recommended
Nice, non intrusive atmosphere. I got the smallest skirt steak I've ever seen in my life. I ordered a medium and got a well done (and that's me being flexible). Barely chewable, like biting into a havaianas flipflop. Ordered a salad and got fries instead. I was literally sitting there thinking "hey, if the steak is too small but prepared well, I'll order another one". Nope 👎 Talked about it with the awesome waiter, and he said that I could pay what I thought was right, so that's how this experience ended - on a relatively good note. As usual in Spain, I leave a restaurant in search of something to eat.
