First time I tried Popeyes food. I tried two burgers with fries. Both of them were very tasty, the staff was nice but the place could use a little more cleaning. The prices were good for the centre of Madrid I would easily come back

Fast ordering, food was booomb. The chicken pieces were better than the wings, but both were juicy. The price broke my neck, but for 1 time it was worth it

It was actually quite nice! The fries were good and I don't usually eat fast food but I've never tried a Popeye's as they don't have them in my country. When I went it was quiet and I got fast service plus I didn't have to ask for extra ketchup.

There are no red beans and rice! How could it be called Louisiana kitchen if there are no Cajun red beans and rice! No mashed potatoes or biscuits either! Also the workers had zero clue how to work the register and it took us forever to place an order. The chicken tasted fine and was similar enough to the USA but was all small. The fries would have been similar were overcooked. The onion rings were nothing like the United States version (which have also been completely off the menu since the pandemic) and even more overcooked than the fries to the point of being gummy. Nearly inedible. For Popeyes fans wishing for a taste of home while abroad steer clear and go get the real deal.

I ordered for my kid's takeaway food. I had to serve drinks myself. And I get that after I got ice cream. Not really appreciate. Drinks machine didn't work and we asked for help from staff. No communication except Spanish only. My understanding that this American franchise should I have more people seeking English. Just my opinion.

The place is super dirty, the food is awful and the cheese sauce (equally awful) comes right out of the fridge

Whoever is the night manager just now, please check your customer service attitude. And also your rage issue. I was speaking to you in Spanish and I was just confused about my order, yet you were raising your voice and making a scene. In what world is that right? “This is Spain.” What is that even supposed to mean? Dude, I was speaking to you in Spanish in the first place. “Don’t come back.” Oh trust and believe. Update your app, and the way you print your receipt. Because last time I checked, a confused customer can ask clarification. Specially if it’s printed on the receipt.

If i could give a minus i would. Asked for food at 2.30, website says open until 3am, the reason we came. Were told no orders were being made. Was told if I ordered for delivery it would be sent. Manager (person in charge) was extremely rude. When we left he pulled the shutters behind us, we could hear laughing. Then 2 minutes later he pulled the shutters up. We have no problem being closed but change your website to reflect and don't act like you're open and pretend you dont speak English when clearly you understood everything. Appreciate we are in Spain but conveniently everyone understood wst I said. Very poor from the person in charge. The 2 girls working tried to help by offering outside ordering. But overall poor experience

Prices are super high !! The between the photos and the burger in real they are super small The services is not enjoyable, I asked for some more lettuce and they did not accept The chiken strips are small aswell . (The burger on the photo is 3 euro btw)

Requested sugar as shown. But 2 small packets were provided when served, then i asked if those are sugar. Staff said it’s sugar.. Speechless.. This lousy incident spoiled my 1st day in Madrid. To be frank, I suspect “racism” of the staff. Otherwise, Popeyes HQ shall train their staffs about the difference between Sugar and Saccharin to avoid recurrence.
