Fantastic hidden gem. Great Happy employees. Employees who do the whole job, yes cleaning. The place is Clean, even the microwave. And even the thing I hate most, was clean, the vents & soda area. Only 2 things needed attention, there was no sweet tea and the soda nozzle was partially missing and sprayed you with cherry Pepsi.
Fresh! Tasty! And great customer service from a very patient worker named Angie. Made the whole experience of subway something wonderful!
We just recently started coming to this Subway. It is one of the best Subways I have ever been to! There is a Gentleman who goes by Perk and a young lady also who I did not get her name. They are always so welcoming and Perk always remembers who we are and what my order is. He remembers my kiddos and exactly how they like their sandwich… This place has customer service that exceeds expectations and goes above and beyond!!! Awesome Job!!!
Very clean restaurant, fresh ingredients and sandwiches were delicious. The manager deserves some serious props for keeping everything together and running smoothly while being clearly short handed. Whoever you are kind lady I hope your manager sees how hard you work and takes notice! You sure deserve some appreciation!
I called in an order for pickup and Dylan was there. He was doing his best to get everyone taken care of in a timely manner. When he finally got to my family’s order, he found the store was out of a lot of items but we made it work. He was absolutely amazing and helped in the best way he knew how!! Amazing worker and person!!! Please keep him!

The lady making the sandwich, who I believe is the manager, had no passion for her job and simply threw the sandwich together. She was sloppy with cross-contamination, and out of six sandwiches, she never changed her gloves once. The flat bread was hard, and the appearance of the restaurant was poor. This was my first time at this location, and even though I work in the area, I will not return anytime soon.

It’s a good place, but why do they not have regular ranch.??. tonight I was told they do not carry regular ranch only peppercorn ranch, I do not like a spicy salad, so no thank you… I’ve been given peppercorn ranch on my salad from there before and I did not like it
They were out of alot of things (they said their coolers were not working properly). The worker was very polite and apoplectic but what I'm assuming is the manager waited until I was leaving to come from the back and didnt even apologized or acknowledged I was in the store.

Sandwich only had meat on 3/4 of the bread, I had to tell him what to put on it and he wasn’t sure how to wrap it so I had to tell him that. May change my review if I go back. But as of right now it stands.
Wasn't happy wrong sub plus it's a day care to top it off they crambed everything in one paper sack n it breaks once I got home. Went there before n wasn't happy then figured it's been 4 years it maybe better but I was wrong never again. Under staffed as well

Just purchased a flatbread sandwich from here. The kid working was nice but he said it’s only his second day and he’s by himself? He did his best but this place needs better training and staff it seems. As soon as I walked in the guy behind the counter immediately said its going to be awhile, there are 20 sandwiches ahead of you. There were 2 other people working but neither offered to take care of me. I asked how long the wait would be and he said definitely more than 30 minutes. Also these 20 sandwiches ahead of me had to be a call in since there were only 2 tables occupied and they both had their food. Very poor customer service! Won't be back!
Most recent issue: I ordered for pick up, I get my reminder to go get it, I'm almost there and get a call that they're out of both proteins. I asked to cancel it then and was told the manager would refund me the next day. I called to follow up as I'm apparently a nuisance by wanting my $14 back... My money was supposed to be left at the counter, I drove to the store to get it and big surprise!!! It wasn't left for me at the counter by the manager... I followed up again with a call and was told they would call me back with my refund.... It's been a month. Super annoyed and will drive to Athens or any other subway before I go back. Literally every trip since I've lived here, something or most things from our orders are not available regardless of what we chose each trip. My boyfriend had an egg and steak and it was cold in the middle... No not cool... COLD after being "toasted".. just drive to Athens or GBC, seriously. Never once seen a glove change.. like at all. Touching everything from counters to the register and never changing them..
They were out of several meats including meatballs. The dinning area did not have one clean table without crumbs. Plus the sweet tea was spoiled. I've always liked this Subway not sure what happened.
If I could give this Subway 0 stars I would. The only reason they get the 1 star is so I can post this review. This Subway sucks. I ordered 3 sandwiches and they totaled 23.45 and when I tried to pay with a hundred dollar bill the worker yelled at me that they don’t accept hundreds. It was busy in there so i know they had change. The yelling at me is why I’m writing this review. The workers at this Subway are slow and lazy. I could see the insult on her face when I started ordering. Like I was putting them out. Why even work there if you hate it. And you are never supposed to yell at customers. I’m never eating at this Subway location again. The 2 Athens locations are excellent!!!

Completed sandwich and tried to ring me up for 14$.... never mentioning that she would be uncharging... Poor untrained staff and ill equipped with food supply
Unfortunately this place has gone way down hill. The majority of staff stuck at their job. They make it feel like you are inconveniencing them by coming in. They are consistently out of products. (Or they just choose not to stock)Very slow and they can't even open on time, sometimes opening hours late. I understand employees are hard to find but this goes way beyond a staffing problem.
This is the absolutely worst Subway location in Texas. They never have ingredients, they refuse to give refunds when they cannot make your order, and if you go after dark it is so unsafe I won't allow my adult children to pick my order up because it is so unsafe. I would rather drive to Athens, where they don't even acknowledge you at the drive thru, than go to the location across the street from my house in Malakoff.
District "manager" kayla is useless and won't return calls or even give customers justice after being informed of HER employee's conduct and inadequacies. Kayla's response when informed? "Omg no way, that's crazy." That's it, that's her helping the customer that was wronged.
Went in on Friday the 19th for the sub of the day, no soap or paper towels in the men's bathroom, no napkins in the dining room, the lady asked me what I wanted, I said the tuna sub, she says their out of tuna, I left after that.
I cannot score you guys on food when you don't have the food properly to make sub sandwiches but yet the doors are still open you have no veggies to put on it and then as they're cutting the bread and telling you oh we don't have this we don't have that excuse me when does the truck come in all that won't come in till Friday really we wasted our time going to Subway because we couldn't even get a sandwich because they did not bury food from another Subway to provide this store with the proper items for Subway sandwiches

I know this and specifically ordered ahead online 35 minutes before arriving and when I get there even though the app says it's ready - I was told they haven't even started it because they had a line. What's the point in ordering ahead online is that doesn't put you in line right then? The other locations make people who get there after online orders wait. I don't know why this one doesn't but I won't be back here.

I eat at subways everywhere in different states and towns. I have never in my life got 2 tsp of meat for a protein bowl. I thought maybe it was a mistake so I went back same thing was told the owner makes them weigh it under to triple profit I will never come back to this dirty store.
