First time here; came to this location portchester has a notice, 7pm on a Thursday 4 workers on the floor and the store was PACKED. The 4 employees were absolutely great, everyone was kind.

This place has improved 100 percent after the flood. Before the flood the staff who made the plates were not friendly. The portions were small. I took a chance and came back today. It was black and white. I applaud the manager, I don't know her name. Good job!!!

Whenever I would order, the staff would always ask me about my day and ask if I needed more portions to make sure my food felt sufficient. It appears Chipotle in Mamaroneck is closed because of the flood but their website doesn't tell you that. I believe the entire shopping center that it's in is closed because of the flood there might be no electricity in the area still.

Mamaroneck and Ryebrook very fresh ingredients not all Chipotle are the same. At Mamaroneck when ordering on line for pick up you have to go in and give them your name. Excellent and friendly service in both locations with easy parking!!

Chipotle is a good restaurant but lately the staff have not been to friendly as they use to be. Only one lady was very friendly but one older lady had a stone face. Bathrooms also need to be kept up. Restaurant are being very neglectful with cleaning there bathrooms.

The staff are nice, the food is good, but my husband and I have ordered chips sporadically with burrito bowls since they opened and I have never had anything other than completely stale chips. Probably 4 or 5 experiences and last night cemented that we’ll never order chips and guac on the side again, since it’s just a waste of money.

I was really excited to see this was opening in my area! Unfortunately, I had the same experience some of the others reviewers had. The staff was not very welcoming.. and I don't require a dramatic salutation but simple hello doesn't hurt... I chucked it to the fact that it was a new establishment. My food was not as warm as it should've been (borderline room temperature) and that concerned me and made me wonder how long it had been sitting in that temperature. I've been to other Chipotles in the past but was disappointed with this location. I really hope that they address the concerns! I will probably go back in the hopes that they have resolved the minor issues and post an update.

I don’t go here that often but when I do the white rice was not fully cooked some of the grains are raw. Last night the portion that was given by the server was good amount. Maybe depending who serves you. The rice was fully cooked perfectly and the items seems fully stocked. Fast and quick service no fuzz. Stale chips. Maybe skip the chips, or try one from the bag and ask them for a replacement before you leave with takeout. Or microwave or bake them again. If you like chewy, stale chips, you should enjoy this place. Nice staff though.

2 stars as opposed to 1 because we all know and love chipotle, but 1 Star for some of the rudest “service” I’ve experienced from the woman at the checkout counter. Very little interaction is required at a chipotle but she couldn’t bother to make the little interaction we had a normal (forget pleasant) one.

Normally i have no issues with this restaurant. But today the were “out of service” for orders, only available for online orders. No one told me I’d have to order online, grab my food and leave but when i finally sat fown to eat i was told they were not allowing people to dine in - for no reason. This was at 6pm, not even close to their closing time.

The employee doing my order was rushing and messed up my two burrito bowls. She got everything mixed up because she was rushing and not listening, needless my husband is lactose intolerant and she put cheese on his bowl. Very disappointing 😞

Ordered online again. First time everything was okay. This time around I'm missing my drink. Charge me $3.50 for a sprite & don't place it with my meal. It's not the drivers fault but whomever packed the bag. I'd call to request a refund but from other posters it seems that's a hassle. I've had better experiences from other Chipotle stores. I'll stick to salsa fresca or a local spanish restaurant from now on.

I have been to this location a few times before my experience on Saturday, October 28th at about 5:00pm. There was 1 person working the food counter at the time of visit. The line had about 4 people including myself. My daughter ordered and wasn't being the fastest and the it was obvious that the male worker was losing patience. I did not know the name of a sauce I wanted to buy and he mumbled under his breathe "its not a spanish sauce, its a dressing". I understand that things get busy but if you are going to work at an establishment that is understaffed, you should have more patience. We have always dealt with pleasant people here in the past so this experience was disappointing to say the least.

I think perhaps it’s time for new management at the Chipotle in Mamaroneck. All these bad reviews aside, I was there tonight, Tuesday, at 7 pm. The employees behind the counter nonchalantly informed the customers ahead of me (and then myself) that they were out of brown rice and guacamole. There was no “It’ll be out in two minutes” — it was simply “We’re out”. The gentleman ahead of me was so frustrated he told them “It’s 7 pm and soon you’ll only have soda to sell”. The customer before him was complaining to the Manager behind the counter about the same thing. Clearly this is a case of mismanagement and laziness. Going to a Mexican restaurant at the heart of dinner time and being told so matter-of-factly that they are indefinitely out of guacamole and rice is like going to an Italian restaurant and being told they’re out of pasta. Get it together people or this location will be going out of business sooner than you can say “we’re out of guac”.

Shirt staffed. Servers more interested in chatting with clients. Had to scrape the serving dish for enough guac for my bowl. Wouldn't let us buy chips, they were for online orders only! Meanwhile there were about 40 bags available.

I can’t even joke and say it wasn’t half way full. I told another lady who tried to pass it to me that it was not full and she rolled her eyes, put it aside and asked someone from the digital orders to make once for me. Only for that one to have lettuce and cheese in it.. this is the last time I get something from this place. It’s not good and the service is worse.

The manager (?) tall scruffy man with a bad attitude seems to be bringing the atmosphere of this location down. The line was moving EXTREMELY slow. A young lady with glasses (Sunday, May 21st) on the food prep line was doing her part to try to keep things running smoothly. We’re all waiting a looog time. The man in front of us (also with a bad attitude) goes to pay. Tall scruffy man apologizes to him. Customer asks for chips. He gives them to him for waiting. Our turn. He now yells at everyone “exact change or card only!!!” My daughter has a loyalty coupon for chips. She shows him as we pay for our meals. He says you can’t have those, they’re for orders. My daughter asks “can we please have tortillas then?” He grunts and says I can’t give them to you, “I’ll have to charge you then.” I say “you just gave the customer in front of us chips”. He says “no”. I say “you all really look out for each other.” He loudly says “I’m married to one. Don’t even try it!” (I’m assuming he’s talking about a Black woman, as we’re both Black). We were the only POC (customers) on line and it was a very long line. He yelled more insults as we walked away. It was extremely inappropriate, misogynistic, aggressive and disrespectful. He also brought in a race element. Again his nasty attitude contributed to the poorly run flow. The two stars are for the employees who have to deal with him. My food was okay, a little skimpy and the lettuce was wilted.

This is the worst Chipotle I’ve ever been to. We’ve done takeout twice, and both times the burritos were cold, the tortillas were torn, and there was no effort to mix ingredients. It’s like nobody cares at all. Go to Salsa Fresca.

I have eaten at many a chipotle in my life and one of its main benefits it always getting what you expect. But this location doesn’t live up to the general standards. They filled our online order with half the ingredients we asked for in our meals, including leaving out extras we paid for. We got just like random scraps of different meats etc in our meals as well- like they didn’t have enough of each one so just threw something together. When we picked up they were obviously packing up for the night so we assume they ran out of things, but never did us the courtesy to tell us they didn’t have most of the stuff we ordered or offer a refund. We only found out when we left and went to eat our meals. We know we didn’t get someone else’s order because we were the only online order they had. Was a waste of money. I do not recommend this location.

The worst chipotle experience. I ordered three tacos in store (2 chicken 1 steak), and was given one Chicken and 2 Softritas. THIS WAS NOT WHAT I ORDERED> Also, wife ordered a burrito bowl, asked for Gauc on the side, and store said they could not accommodate but still wanted to charge for Gauc since it was written on the bowl??? Like no, if you do not get Gauc in the order there should be no charge. Also, Chips were wayyyyy too salty. Unacceptable and I won't be going back.

I love chipotle but this is genuinely the worst chipotle I’ve ever been to. The white race tastes like dish soap every time. They also skimp you on portions so hard. I literally got half of a bowl worth of food once even though I specifically asked for extra rice. Absolutely horrible service all around.

Got two chicken bowls yesterday, pinto beans and rice completely undercooked (think crunchy...). Posted complaint online, got a bot that gave me two BOGO coupons good for one month. I'm sorry, you want me to buy two more meals to make up for the two inedible ones? Filled out a form online with a review with the option for company to get back to me. Still waiting to hear back. No possibility to speak with an actual human. So disappointed with Chipotle

I'm not sure which Chipotle is worse, this one or the Pelham Manor location but it should not feel like a privilege to buy a quick meal. I don't expect Michelin service but having the 'manager' giving customers attitude is extremely inappropriate. If she doesn't like what she does, she should pick a different profession. The attitude that she gives is as if the customers (and even her own staff!) are an inconvenience to her. She barked aggressively at the young worker who was making online orders because she wanted him to take something out of the oven. I ordered two burrito bowls, one with traditional chicken, and a second with 'Pollo Asado'. When I specified which bowl should have which ingredients, she rudely stated "Pollo Asado... Chicken, they're both the same thing" fully knowing which ones I were referring to. I guess because I don't present as Hispanic, she assumed I didn't know what chicken means in Spanish (?). I have the utmost respect for restaurant staff, as I used to manage a coffee shop in the industry, but this experience was piss poor. I don't ask for much from fast food establishments, but a little bit of respect goes a long way.

Not the worst chipotle, because all are bad! This establishment is certainly giving the franchise name "Chipotle " a bad rap. Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc should take matters on making sure that all of these restaurants are doing the right thing by their customers. For the last couple of years their services and food has decline and if they continue this path, I see them shutting down.

The most unpleasant experience, the person who s made my bowl had such an attitude, I asked for sour cream, and got ( sour cream with corn and pepper in the sour cream ) grossed... not to mention that they didn’t replace the rice, the beans, the guac with the new ones. Instead she continue to make my bowl with the scrapings of whatever was left in the container, I had a quarter of a portion and they wanted to charge me $15.00 finally they made a third bowl for me because I have contact the manager at that point everything looked fine on the terrible but as soon as I took a bite into it everything tasted like he didn’t have a pinch of salt, everything tasted so bland this is so not typical of what you would get at chipotle what a disappointment this was, I would never go back there again and please people of Mamaroneck and Westchester do not come to this location they have employees with attitude, I highly recommend you to go to other locations where they serve fresh and clean food.

I’ve been there several times. The staffs works there looking like somebody are forcing them to be there. Never a “good morning” or even a “thank you”. First time I put on the account of a busy day, after that I just realized they are just terrible in a treatment. What made me come here to say those things was the last time when the lady just threw my food in the table as she was doing me a favor of packing my food to go. Honestly I need to think twice when I need to grab food there and put myself in that horrible service. Ps: I feel relieved when I see that Joselin is who gonna do the service.

They can’t seem to get the orders right. This place is a joke. No manager to speak with and when you contact corporate to discuss , you deal with the a bot. Chipotle has gone down in quality and there are better places to order from.

Do not go there, they give you baby portions of everything and when i tried to ask for more she charged me for double meat at the register. The lady serving me had a horrible attitude and it turns out she was the manager. She also spoke to the cashier in spanish about me so i wouldnt understand. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.

They “ran out of cups for water” and refused to give me a soda cup so I could get water for my daughter. Never heard of such a thing. Corporate please consider asking the staff here to let people get water.

I have never had such a bad experience. I ordered online in order to pick up quickly between classes. I used the official chipotle website. Received confirmation and made the payment. Once at the store: they could not find my order - made me wait 30 minutes and then told me they could not serve me in spite of all evidence. They told me to contact Chipotle and get a refund. I asked for a number and they could not give me a proper answer. This was appalling-- I had to go through multiple numbers online and then was told there would be no guarantee for a refund. This was just such a disappointing experience and the staff was so rude to us while we remained calm in spite of the circumstances. . I called the store again the next hour to verify the order was still not in hoping I could give them a second chance.. i was impolitely told to just call my bank and reverse the payment. Please Chipotle; implement better customer service policies

One of the worst Chipotle I've been to. The food looked like it had been sitting there all day. My partner convinced me to get food despite the presentation. When I finally ordered, the lady put a tiny bit of rice and a small amount of sides. I asked for a bit more, she acted like the slobber in front of her was her Bossom companion. I didn't want to be a KAREN!! We went home and the food was tasteless, Wait.. it was cardboard mix with pure disappointment and expectancy of what I imagined the first time I set site on what looked like edible morsels that had been fighting for it's right to be called FOoD by humans standards. I had to immediately throw that sh!+ in the trash.

The staff is very rude and unenthusiastic, and have no skill in rolling a Burrito (basic training) I had to ask for each ingredient twice and then she sloppily rolled my burrito. Everything fell on the floor as soon as wrapping was opened. I asked for a replacement and they flatly refused.

This chipotle is one of the worst I have ever been to. It seems like every time I order online, it comes out 20 minutes late because they didn’t have any steak ready. If this happened a couple of times I would understand. But this is a habitual problem with this chipotle, happening on at least the last five occasions and not necessarily at busy times. As a long time customer of chipotle, I can definitively say this location needs help. EDIT: 4 years later, this chipotle is still the worst I’ve ever been too. I can’t fathom how a restaurant can be run so poorly. The amount of times I’ve went there during peak hours and they have one person working both the in store and online counters. You might think “they must be understaffed”. However, there are plenty of employees on the clock, just none of them are helping customers. Chipotle, get your house in order and do something about this location.

Horrible experience! I am a big fan of chipotle in Rye Brook so I expected a similar experience in Mamk. I have never had this type of experience at any other location. I got there this evening at 8:30 PM and you would think that they were closing up. I checked online and they don’t close till 10 PM. The place is run by three teenagers that really didn’t seem to care about the customer or the business. They had run out of white rice, steak, sour cream, guacamole and fajitas. I waited a few minutes at the register to pay while the cashier was counting out their tips from the tip jar. I asked why they had run out of all these items at 8:30 at night and the response was well we just recently reopened from the flood and that’s why. She also stated they didn’t prep enough items for the evening. Worst chipotle ever I will never go back! They absolutely need new management. Place is going to ruin Chipotle’s reputation.

Absolutely unacceptable to tell any customer that they can’t get food if it’s not ordered through the app. I said I don’t have the app and not one Chipotle location made me do this. They argued with me and said otherwise. I’m at Chipotle 2 times a week. I think I would know. I will be taking a break from going to any locations until I get a reply with an apology for the inconvenience. Food locations should not be miserable and rude. I love chipotle an all but today I went and ordered a chicken cheese quesadilla and they denied taking my order because it would slow down the line and they just didn’t want to do it. I Then got a chicken bowl but I noticed that the chicken isn’t fully cook. Whenever I come to chipotle there’s always some sort of problem.

Very disappointing experience. My bowl was prepared incorrectly, with spicy ingredients added that we never requested. When we politely pointed it out, the employee refused to remake the bowl and instead blamed us for the mistake. Despite the error clearly happening during preparation, we were still charged for the bowl and offered no solution or customer service. There was no attempt to correct the issue or de-escalate the situation, which was frustrating and unnecessary. Chipotle is usually good about fixing mistakes, but this location handled the situation poorly. I expect better accountability and customer service, especially when the error is not the customer’s fault.

The rest of the staff stayed silent and just observed rather than helping resolve the issue. After that, she tried to charge the customer for a new bowl even though the mistake was hers. To make things worse, she unprofessionally scooped the wrong toppings off the bowl with her hand. Overall, very poor and unprofessional service.Customer service was extremely disappointing. Do better, Chipotle.

It makes no sense form a Latino to a Latino. I feel so disrespected and unappreciated just for me asking for fresh chicken on my chipotle bowl goes crazy when the bowl was empty. I have all these workers in here smiling and laughing like somethings funny because I can’t get hot food. I will not be coming back to the establishment anymore. I waste hundreds of dollars here every week on my lunch break-so for me not to get hot chicken and then get an attitude on the side with it. so for me not to get hot chicken and then get a attitude on the side with it as if chipotle or Miss Gonzales is paying for my food totally confused.
