Good Life Cafe Mammoth Lakes Reviews
Got a quite solid monte cristo sandwich and well done fries for linner. Very friendly staff, and a very cute atmosphere inside. Would come back when I'm here for work!
The burrito and green chili sauce was fantastic! Always good service, abundant hot coffee, and we liked the classic tunes.
I went for dinner on a Monday night, and it was very quiet. The service was great. The food was tasty, and the pricing was pretty good for Mammoth. I had the Cobb Salad and my son had the Shrimp Scampi. Both of us enjoyed it, and would definitely return.
Nice breakfast. We ordered take out at the front desk. Friendly service. Food came out quick. Coffee was hot and good. French toast was exactly what it was supposed to be. Oatmeal was hot. Fruit was fresh. Breakfast burrito with bacon was excellent! They provided utensils, syrup, butter, creamer, sugar.
Absolutely loved this place! Their omelette is hands-down the best I’ve had—fluffy, flavorful, and packed with fresh ingredients. The burgers are juicy, perfectly seasoned, and paired with crispy golden fries that are hard to resist. I also loved their twist of adding homemade sauces and creative toppings. Friendly staff, quick service, and a cozy vibe make it a new favorite. If you are mammoth lakes and looking for a restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner - Good Life Cafe could be your stop. 5 stars well deserved!
Had a wonderful breakfast this morning. Husband got the Chile verse burrito that was delicious. We also had the combo breakfast with blueberry pancakes, bacon and eggs…it’s enough for two people and they are generous with the portions. Definitely recommend this place for a delicious breakfast!
I enjoyed my meal here. I had orange juice (freshly squeezed!) And french toast. My husband had a burger, which he didn't like. I think this place is better suited for breakfast food, I suggest you get something along those lines. We had outstanding service, from a waitress that spoke Spanish too, can't remember her name.
Spent the weekend at Mammoth and discovered this fantastic cafe. Great food--fresh and delicious--beautifully presented. I visited twice, breakfast and dinner. Both meals were great. The real asset here is the staff. Exceptionally friendly and accommodating. I wish this restaurant were closer to home. I would go often and take along all my friends!. .
Tucked in a nook of the shopping center is this cafe that reminds me of the "home in the wall" kind of place. Inside was inviting & comfortable, with pleasant staff. Not sure if they have a signature dish, so I selected the Monte Cristo because it's not a standard of every restaurant menu like burgers are.
YES , they are open during construction! I woke up ready for breakfast and this little cafe was ready to serve just that. I normally eat a large breakfast but I ended up getting a keto style breakfast and a bowl of fruit and that was enough. I was amazed at the flavor and I asked my meal to be cooked a specific way and they did not hesitate to accommodate. Service was great and the light music ( country ) played but never was overwhelming, if you are over the touristy spots up in mammoth lakes I recommend checking this little gem out with awesome art pieces decorating the walls and clean tables I was in heaven!
I recently visited Good Life Cafe in Mammoth Lakes for lunch on a Saturday. The place wasn't crowded, which was a plus. As a vegetarian, I found the menu to have limited options. I ordered a Burrito, a veggie burger, and nachos grande. The food was okay, nothing particularly outstanding. The cafe had a decent atmosphere, but overall, it didn't leave a strong impression.
A decent cafe to grab a quick breakfast in Mammoth Lakes. We ordered Southwest Scramble & Eggs Florentine, among these two I would definitely rate the Eggs Florentine a hight number than the scramble. The Eggs Florentine with two poaches eggs on the english muffin was amazing. The sauce on it was rich and yummy in taste. The crispy crunchy muffin at the bottom of poached eggs and the delicious flavors of the sauces along with the perfectly cooked poaches eggs was a perfect combination. I would try this dish if at good life cafe. The Southwest Scramble was okay , and had a lot better than this other cafes. The drawback was that the scramble was a little bit on the drier side , topping of the scramble with some sauce would definitely make it more good. The hash-brown on the side of the scramble was not great either. The atmosphere up this place was a little bit disturbed when we visited as there was a customer who was having an argument with the manager and it really gave a very negative vibe to this place, which made me a little bit hesitant if or not to visit this place. However , I tried to be positive and visited this place looking at over 1000 reviews with a rating of 4.3 , which other cafes or breakfast places lacked in Mammoth.
Pathetic service!! Very RUDE staff, specially the skinny lady. I feel pity for her that she has to do this job, it mostly feels like she is doing this job unwantedly. Hash browns were cold and chewy, like made a day ago.. They have a weird policy of charging huge gratuity just for party of 4!!! If you complain, you will be blasted!! They will charge you more than the prices specified in menu. Look at my bill attached. They happily charged extra for side od beacon, 2 pankaes (which skinny lady lied that it will be $6). SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY, PLEASE GO TO SOME OTHER PLACE..
We saw the good reviews so we decided to try for breakfast while visiting Mammoth. The food was not great. We left most of the food on our plates. The hash browns and the bacon were cooked unevenly. Hamburger patty was not cooked all the way. I wanted the meat cooked well and it was pink in the middle. The only option for alternative creamer is soy milk. They sell it by the glass. So, no coffee if you have a dairy allergy and/or don’t do soy. NOTE: The waitress brought the check and then and only then (not before we ordered) she informed us that there was an 18% service charge for parties of 5 or more. I looked at the check and the charge was listed as a room fee! Google definition of a room fee is basically renting your table to eat your meal. A dedicated space for large parties. Restaurants use it to cover rental of the space, staffing, etc. They sat us at a table with four chairs and stuck another chair at the end of the table. The only positive thing was the staff was nice, but you factor in them hiding the room fee - calling it a service charge and not notifying us of it before we ordered…so there you go! We paid to sit at our table and for food that was not very good.
