Great place to work on film and television projects. I have found the staff to be quite helpful. I have worked on eight projects on the MBS lot.

Unlike many reviews for MBS, we are not a visitor to the campus, and we actually pay a fee to rent an office here. When we first started renting at MBS everything was great. However a month into our rental, they started construction in the office directly next to ours. We thought this might be a quick project with little interference but we were wrong. We are now going on a month and a half of construction. The walls are very thin and through at least half of our work day we often hear construction tools in use. In addition, construction crew sometimes wonder into our office space, interfering with our work. Today we had very important people stop in our office for a meeting. I'm talking well known actors, directors, and producers. In the middle of our meeting a man walked in with a scaffold and began painting in our main work area. This is at 10 AM on a Thursday. Why this work is scheduled during production hours instead of when the office is empty is unfathomable to me. When it gets to the point that our visitors are making comments about the construction there is a major problem. UPDATE: I am revising my review and changing it from one star to three stars. The head of Operations has been in contact with our team and has apologized for the inconveniences we have experienced in regards to the construction. They have assured us the remaining construction that needs to be completed will not interfere with our work. The staff at MBS have been incredible friendly and helpful in that regard and I wanted to adjust my review accordingly.

The stages are nice and clean (although the perms are fuc#ed because they put the air conditioning in as an afterthought) if you live on the Westside it's convenient otherwise you will want to kill yourself during your commute, in any case most of your crew will want to kill you for choosing this place because they will definitely be commuting from the east side or the valley.
