Can't really comment on atmosphere, I was in the drive-through service area. Staff was "So very on top of it." This location has breakfast menu 0700-2300, which is "super great."

They literally have the best milkshakes. Love their Epic Chipotle Chicken Burrito. I get it without chicken and with French fries instead. It's so DELICIOUS! The queso fries and cheesecake bits are bomb. Everything there is just really good and tastes like fresh ingredients.

I love their old style crinkle cut fries and the new meat-less beyond taco also tastes really good. Lot's of other good menu choices that I also like: from the bacon double del cheeseburger to the chicken cheddar quesadilla.

Pretty good service here. They always allow us to use our coupons. They have no problem giving us sauce for food. We go here somewhat frequently. Never had our order wrong. And we're really enjoying the new tostadas! Especially the $2 and $3 ones.

Almost utem on the menu here is excellent. The best items are the Del Taco, Del Combo Beef Burrito and Taco Salad. The tostadas and nachos are also really good. Finally, the soft tacos are tasty as well- chicken or beef. This place is better than Taco Bell because the quality of the food is fresher and superior.

Customer service is always superb and the food is fresh and delicious. We usually come here now when I take my wife to the Drs and from the first time and this was our third time here and they NEVER DISAPPOINT on the Customer service and the Freshness and Quality of the food.

My experience was fantastic I always go to the drive-thru. answering the questions that follow regarding del Taco is a little difficult because Google doesn't ask the right questions. but I had a good time and I loved my meal.

Was my friend's first time there, he got a tamale and I got a fish taco. We both loved our meals, and were pleasantly full afterwards. The fries are great, too.

Had Del Taco for the first time ever last week. It was better than I expected. Portion sizes are BIG. I mistakenly ordered a burrito, two tacos, and carne fries. Didn't even make it to the burrito, barely finished the fries. Will definitely order less and spend less next time. That's the other thing, a bit pricey for a fast food place. But the portion sizes are probably to blame.

After having an issue with the local Taco Bell, I decided to Branch out and try other drive-thru Mexican places. I was pleasantly surprised by the prices and the quality of the food at Del Taco. The staff were so friendly and the location was very clean. I will definitely be back and I'm happy to give my service here instead of going to the local Taco Bell Witch gives nightmare service.

Great drive thru service and crunchy salty French fries. I've been hooked on Del Taco lately after never rely going there for years after an incident. Let's not go there now but my recent fast food meals from Del Taco have been on point. Again I LOOOOOVE their fries. I'm cutting down to the medium size now trying to be more healthy. My other go to is simply a bean and cheese burrito with red sauce. I add rice and it costs extra but who cares its worth it. There are other burrito options for us vegetarians.

Good was made fresh with very little wait time. Staff were friendly and very professional. Loved the Taco Tuesday deal (3 beef tacos for under $4). Enjoyed the taco salad and fish tacos, 5 stars!! Will definitely be back!

I used to live in Southern California and loved Del Taco! I live on the Peninsula and there is NO Del Tacos over here 😭 so today we drove to this location and ordered our old favorites and I don't know if it's because we missed it so much, but it never tasted better then today. The food was so fresh and flavorful! It was definitely worth the drive and we will be coming back more often. Don't pass this location up :) Any one remember this TV commercial from the 80's? "I went to lunch the other day, can't recall the name I said over and over and over again. This lunch is going to be the same. well then all of a sudden it came to be del Taco's the place to be. Why don't we have a Del Taco in San Mateo??? It was my ho to place for a delicious, fresh, bite. Used the drive thru, our order came out quick and fresh. The aroma from the bag was so inciting, we decided to pistol and it the food.

I think it's amazing that a Mexican fast food restaurant has a better double cheeseburger and french fries than most regular hamburger restaurants in town. They're double del cheeseburger and crinkle-cut fries are the bomb! McDonald's eat your heart out.

Always love the food here. But the wait time is kinda ridiculous sometimes, seems like they're always short handed. Service is ok, never had issues but they aren't super friendly either.

This was the second time coming to this del taco in almost 5 years, it was so much better this time. I ordered a few of the chicken items and they were far better than expected, especially at the cheap price point.

Decent place, average for a Del Taco. Staff seems fairly nice. Kids play area is a little broken and needs some repairs but that's probably a corporate related issue or whoever owns the franchise if it is one. Overall not a bad place to bring kids to hang out for a while. No AC in the play place though.

Great Mexican fast food. Taco bell is forever over for me; Del Taco blows them out. Quality ingredients; generous portions; and friendly service make this my go-to fast Mex spot. Good location at Yosemite & Cottage; adequate parking; easy in/out of lot.

The food is great. My kids love to play in the kids play structure. I always feel like there is not enough room for families to sit and eat at this location. And it seemed just a little understaffed and slightly dirty as many kid areas are.

This is by far the BEST del taco I've ever eaten at! The food is amazing! The staff is always kind and get your order right every time. The drive through is always quick and the food hot and fresh! I don't even go to Taco Bell anymore because this Del Taco smokes them in competition. I highly recommend this place.

The food here has been surprisingly fresh and really good every time I come in. The portions are solid, but it gets expensive fast if you do not stick to the value menu. Last time I ordered a chicken burrito, a chicken strips meal, and a bag of chips, and it came out to twenty four dollars. At that point it felt like I might as well have gone to Chipotle or El Pollo Loco, but I still have to admit the food was fresh and delicious. What keeps me coming back, especially with my son, is that this is the only place in town I know that still has a jungle gym for kids. That alone earns an extra star from me. The play area could be cleaner though, and I think a deep clean every month or two would make a big difference.

GBaby decided she wanted lunch here - so off we went. Everything was ok but the crinkle cut fries my GBaby received with her lunch should have been cooked longer as they were somewhat limp and cold, My two tacos were packed with meat and the appropriate toppings which make Taco Bell’s tacos look pathetic - as This place always packs their tacos. Unfortunately like any other place you go to whether a restaurant dining or fine dining. It is a hit or miss on consistency of the meal from being served just right to mediocre.

The first time I went an older latina lady helped me and she had the best customer service. The second time I went through drive thru at around 10 pm. There were younger latina ladies with horrible customer service and playing loud music inside.

It's an old building that could use some freshening up. The food is fine, it's traditional Fel Taco food. The employees there are what makes going there worthwhile always nice and helpful.

You have to double check your orders before leaving almost all the time and the fries have gone down in quality as well. If only they took time to make sure food was right on top of being able to get food out on time things would be fine.

Normally, I love Del Taco. This one has never done me wrong. Until last night. I debated putting this review on here, because usually staff is friendly, food is cooked well and good, and I have a pleasant experience. Now, I will preface this with staff had every right to be upset if they heard the unsavory comments made by the person on speakerphone. That being said, the quesadilla I ordered was not even close to being cooked. The shredded cheese used for it was clumped at the bottom of a cold tortilla with some meat at the top. I had not eaten all day and felt a headache coming on, and scarfed down the cold cheese and meat sandwich even though I could not tell if it had touched a griddle long enough to even pretend to be cooked. It certainly did not feel like it. So this long story is only to remind people to be nice to your service workers. I am truly sorry if the person taking our order or other staff heard what this person on the phone said, and had their shift ruined by it.

Dine in has been closed for almost 2 years. Can’t even go inside to order take out. No longer accept mobile orders either. They mess up on food orders almost every visit. Taco shells today tasted like clay. The female employee was friendly is only reason we didn’t put one star.

Ordered a Fiesta pack with value tacos because another search said they had the best fast food tacos. Wrong! The lettuce was old and sour, and the shells were stale. JITB tacos are better than this. The bean and cheese burritos are not bad. Not much difference between red and green sauce until the last couple of bites at the bottom. Inferno sauce helps get it all down...

Item missing from my order and poor hygiene. The woman at the window handled my credit card and foods all with the same gloves. There was grease all over my credit card. I could only wonder how many people's card were on my food.

Went in moments ago, used the restroom before ordering. Both the handrail and toilet paper dispenser were smeared with blood. A couple drips also on floor. Returned bathroom key. Told young man at counter. His response, “yeah, we had another customer tell us the same thing earlier”. Clearly not concerned with cleanliness. We chose not to eat there and left.

Went through the drive through, they handed me fries that were prepared prior to our burgers, they were not hot. I touched them, handed them back told the girl at the window they were not satisfactory and she dumped them back into the heating bin with the manager standing right there...I told her how disgusting that was and she only replied "OK"....Will never go again....DISGUSTING, UNSANITARY and GROSS....

I want to give "0" stars. Through these tough times and being a truck driver, you would think they would let you order over the phone and pick up at the drive thru. Especially being that I can't drive an 18 wheeler thru the drive thru. And I'm parked right next door.This sucks. Oh well, your lose.

Never been inside but driving by. Play area doesn't look like it's been cleaned since pre COVID. I wouldn't let my kids touch the place. I drive by for fish taco deal. That's gone now. Birria is over priced low grade cut meats. It's a trend and its expensive everywhere. I tried here and it's no worse. It's just not as good as some taco trucks. Just stick to taco bell is my advice. The food here has always been sub par. The Manteca location is no exception.

I ordered a veggie burrito with fries and literally asked if it comes with anything dairy and the girl said no it’s a veggie burrito and I said ok please make sure there’s no cheese or sour cream or anything dairy and she said no problem. I get back to work and it has cheese and sour cream. And I just spent my break getting this food and now I can’t eat it and had to toss it and I’m starving. So thanks, now I can’t eat until I leave work at 5.

Food is great but if I could give service zero stars I would. They are always rude. 6 out of ten times they will give you your order with missing items. I’m telling you the night crew there is the staff from hell. Don’t order chips and queso there. You will never get your chips. If you go back around through the drive thru again and tell them they will laugh at you. Then they will give you a bag with one chip in it. Management seriously needs to spend a couple nights with the night crew and fix them. They are the rudest of any restaurant we have ever been to. But their food is really good. Only reason we go back and deal with their ridiculousness.

Edit: So the manager bot reached out to me, and I did receive some emails... but no phone calls, etc. The emails were we are sorry will reach out to you. Poor customer service too, Del Taco. I bought 4 items, did not receive one item a Crunchy DelTaco, and the bean burrito was green even though I asked for a red sauce burrito. Also- night shift at this location are more interested in laughing and standing around talking more than working. The time before this time I ordered frys, there were none, so they made fresh frys and then made them extra crispy... I heard the buzzer on the machine going off for a while, and the employees were just standing around talking. I just threw the frys away and walked out. I had already finished by the time I got my crunchy frys. It's too bad because i feel they are lower priced than Taco Bell. If I go during dayshift and eat in the restaurant... the food is also better than Taco Bell. What's happening Manteca Del Taco?

We came through the drive thru all we hear is them talking, laughing & playing around. The young lady at the window had no customer service. Standing around & just talking & yelling to the other workers. It's ridiculous! No customer service what so ever. Was shorted on our order also.

If I can rate this place 0 stars I would. First and last time ever coming here. We were standing in front of the cash register to order for our food for almost 20 mins. There were 3 persons just standing there and not helping us. My kids really wanted to to eat and play there that is the only reason why I stayed. When food was ready is was horrible.
