For being a Panera in Manteca, the restrooms at this location are beyond disgusting. I just had lunch there today and used the women’s restroom The urine smell was so bad I had to walk out.

Get this one! Unfortunately I had an interesting experience at this Panera tonight! I love the seasonal Strawberry poppyseed salad. Only reason I go there honestly. Pulled up, placed My order and then was told that they ran out of pineapple for the strawberry 🍓 poppyseed salad. I Asked if they could just add extra strawberries in place of the pineapple or mandarin oranges? The employee in the windows response was “our general manager doesn’t allow us to do that.”? If we add extra strawberries, or Mandarin oranges, we will have to charge you for it ? 🤦🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️I then asked if my salad was going to be discounted since I wasn’t getting 100% of the salad. I was told no discount they couldn’t do that. So I ordered my salad, pulled to the window and asked to speak to the manager just to make sure that this was correct, and yes, the manager Emiliano confirmed that, it’s Ophelia, the general manager’s policy” that they could not substitute strawberries for the shorted pineapples. He confirmed that they don’t substitute if they’re missing an ingredient and they don’t discount if an item is missing an ingredient. Kind of weird that your general manager expects 100% of the price for 90% of the product added my own pineapple and made it better. The salad good 😊 after I made it complete! #dobetterpanerabread

Why did I order a grilled cheese from yall and it wasn't even cooked?? The bread isn't grilled and the cheese not melted ! Smh yall are charging for your food but it's not cooked?🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️ I won't be ordering from this location again. There's no way this place has a 4.0 rating!! READ THE REVIEWS PEOPLE!!!

Online order was ready 30 minutes after it was supposed to done. Since time of order it basically took 1 hour for a sandwich and soup. They must’ve gone to the farm to pick the veggies and kill the chicken.

This is the 2nd time I've ordered the Bistro French Onion soup, with the same results 😡 NO CHEESE. My friend who picked it up for me specifically asked about it, and unfortunately believed their "oh it should be in there" claim. I'm not giving this overpriced soup can a third chance.

Placed an order through the app for pickup in the drive thru. Gave me an eta of 10 minutes for a drink. Once I got there and even after waiting through the line, it had been 20 minutes past the eta and it still wasn’t ready

Their customer service is so bad I dread having to meet people here. I understand that you get paid less than other fast food workers and that customers themselves are often terrible, but it's your job to do customer service. The conditions of that task do not determine your ability to fulfill that task. Just be nice.

I've placed many orders for breakfast sandwiches for our employees from this place and while the food is good, the service has been terrible. Last time I placed a large order (20ish), they told me to call the next time. Called today and was placed on hold for 10min before trying again. When i got through, I was told to place it online. When I told them that I was instructed to call ahead the next time, they didn't even ask how many I needed and said they were too busy today and hung up the phone. I hope someone who is actually a stakeholder in the business reads these.

Very bad service…. Placed an order of beagles for work. I wanted half toasted and half not toasted. The manager at the counter said that they wouldn’t do that. I offered to pay extra if needed but she refused to do so.

Ordered on the app for rapid pick up. Once I arrived, I didn't see my order so I waited for awhile with no help at all. There was a couple other people waiting for their rapid pick up and very confused but no staff seem to care at all with no type of customer service whatsoever. VERY DISORGANIZED & UNPROFESSIONAL. I had to wait in line ( beats the purpose of rapid pick up) waited 10 minutes before being able to talk to anyone. Once I did get a chance, the cashier lady didn't seem to have any care whatsoever. She simply said to ask another staff member. The extra step to ask for my "rapid shelf pick up" was stupid enough already. Finally got my order since there was an unnecessary extra step when it was supposed to be placed in the rapid pick up shelfs. NEVER COMING TO THIS PANERA AGAIN!

I gave one star because the service sucked as I complained about the way my south western sandwich was made as it didn't look appealing and the manager explained it to me as she picked away at me and showed me how it was made. I ordered a avocado bacon sandwich, and it was well made, and hardy. I displayed two photos one the southwestern sandwich, and the other avocado sandwich. As well I bought soup all for $32, and you would except it to be well made. I should of went to Denny's and payed the same price.

I ordered the Mediterranean bowl and the arugula was missing. The bowl was thrown together and the ingredients were all push to one side. Looked a mess and half the bowl was missing. No respect for their job or customers. I'm paying over $10 for this bowl and when complaining they could care less. After complaining they remade the bowl but only because of the missing ingredient. I find a piece of chicken on the top when the bowl comes with no chicken. As a vegetarian when ordering food that specifically doesn't come with meat I don't expect it to be there especially after the first mistake. Not only that they have the sprinkler system running all day long with water running down the street into the gutters. When letting them know they say well thats not my job and that side of the property isn't ours when its in the front of the entrance of the drive thru and further down by the drive thru menu... I've never seen such lack of care from a panera bread. What a disappointment!
