Still had sudden late taco craving and came here shortly after the earlier disappointment from the other taco place. Unclear of the other lower reviews but this is by far the best al pastor, 5*. The carne asada had the grill charred flavor, which I enjoyed over the sauté, skillet style cooking. However, it lacked a little bit of seasoning (salt?)...but the meat wasn't chewey or had lots of the chewey tendon stuff from lower quality asada...overall, 5* for the asada. The line appeared long but it went by fairly quick. Bonus: portion size, bigget tortilla size, includes guacamole, complimentary self-serve grilled onions and jalapeños...all for a great competitive price. Fortunately, I don't live close. Otherwise, I would return a lot. 12.22.25: came back for lunch to ensure that it wasn't a fluke last night. Tacos were still great but last night was more hot off the grill. Today seemed more lukewarm and not as hot. Still 5* and one of the best pastor....Best one was in Puerto Vallarta corner stand at the malecon.

Even though i rated the atmosphere a 3, it doesn't matter... COME TRY THIS PLACE! THE HYPE IS REAL! The flavors are outstanding! I tried chicken, asada and of course their legendary PASTOR. The Pastor was hands down the best of the bunch and I would rate it in the top 3 (maybe even top 2) of best i have ever had. No doubt. The Vampiro was a great change of texture from the street tacos, and the queso taco was insane delicious. Their salsas are light and full of delvious flavor. Get these tacos loaded... dont be afraid. No weird flavors here, all top grade delicious Do not miss out on this place if youre visiting and looking for top tier best tacos to add to you experience bank.

I used to visit them when they were an early pop up shop. This is the first time going to their brick and mortar store! Just like the pop up, the food was spectacular and they were all so nice! The cheese tacos were fire, the loaded fries, delicious, and the torta just hits different! The one thing I had that they never had before, was the micheladas! The mix they make is very satisfying. They're gonna need a bigger dining area soon!

This place is simply amazing as a non-California resident. The portions are very generous especially the nachos. The meat is flavorful and not dry. You have your pick of toppings as well with guac, onions, etc. The atmosphere is pretty busy, noisy and smoky, so you'll have to get used to that.

Absolutely one of the best taco places I have ever been to! Fantastic food here with good fast service and affordable prices. They make their own corn tortillas as well which make it that much better! The pastor is the best I have ever had but their other meats are great as well. Had both tacos and burritos and both were amazing! Focus is on the meat and not the fillers. Fantastic place!

Visited this Mexican restaurant recently and had a great experience overall. The cashier was polite and welcoming, and our order was taken in a timely manner. A table opened up soon after, and someone came fairly quickly to clean it for us. The place looked pretty clean, which added to the positive experience. The food was fresh and full of flavor — everything we tried was delicious. The horchata was just okay, but everything else made up for it. Would definitely come back!

Best carne asada fries I’ve had in San Diego and OC 🙌 I threw onions on top, it doesn’t come with that. They use nacho cheese and you can swap out the meat with no extra charge.

First time coming here and definitely won’t be my last. 10/10 food!! They even have keto taco options. Can’t go wrong with Al pastor tacos. They are generous with the meat portions too! Next time in coming back for a michelada

Incredible place that started from a humble taco stand and became a legendary staple in the community. The welcome you with open arms and speedy service. Once you walk in, you are met with the smokiness of the meat and great aroma. The tacos are filled with a lot of meat and toppings. Their slogan is guac is no additional cost, and they don’t play around with that. 4 tacos was more than enough for me. I started feeling full after 2. Al pastor was my favorite of the order. It’s sweet and savory. Cabeza’s texture was incredible too. For the angel’s potato, we had the brisket on top. The potato is like 4 meals in one. So much food and toppings. The brisket was great as well.

Tacos were DELICIOUS best Al pastor tacos I’ve had in a while. Well served we tried al pastor and asada. We went twice on our vacation that’s how good they were. The only slight flaw is the girl that takes the order. She doesn’t smile in my opinion she doesn’t have good customer service and everything you ask seems to bother her. Apart from that everything was great the person calling out the orders was super friendly and made the place better. Definitely recommend

Savory tacos, salsa bar offers a higher experience in every bite. Aguas frescas are the best.

First time here and service was quick on a Friday afternoon! Ordered the Angels potato and a queso taco to try. Food was really good and they’re pretty generous with the guacamole. The salsa and the sides that they provide are delicious. It started to get busier right around 4pm. Would come again :)!

Came here after leaving a theme park and these are the best tacos I had so far. Everything was super flavorful and had the perfect amount of spice. They had a salsa bar and extra condiments you can add or have them on the side but they didn't need them

Super good El Pastor burritos. Huge menu. All items are reasonably fair, considering every restaurant is high priced. Plenty of parking. A bit crowded, but I guess that's good. All the tables were full and a line of folks at the door to order.

I'm so glad that I don't have to chase these people down anymore on the street corners. I used to watch their Instagram postings to see where they were and always waiting for them to come back to Anaheim or Buena Park. If you've never tried their food you have to go it's the best taco I've ever had and this is the first time I've ever ordered the baked potato. Everything was great. I just wish they had more tables to eat at. The counter is not great because the chairs are too tall.

Tacos are great here. I was surprised I liked the chicken more than the asada. Managed to get in before the line got long. The sunny side gets kinda hot in the counter seating, but there are tables for large groups also.

Service and atmosphere is a bit hectic at night since everyone is here. Lots of orders and customers. Food was delicious. Lots of people. Seating outside is basically in the parking lot. Not much space inside. Clea. Restrooms. Would recommend ordering ahead. Tacos are big dont under estimate.

Food quality was pretty good but wouldn't say it stands out among the awesome taco spots in Southern California. Service was pretty good and got the food quickly. Parking is easy. Just try to avoid coming after 12pm on a weekend, or you'll be stuck behind a huge line. Food/Drink- 4 stars The tacos were good and the meat quality is standard. I like that they do offer the option for cheese tacos. Everything does appear to be made in-house: handmade tortillas, fresh sauce, etc. I do think we are spoiled in the LA/OC area with taco spots Service- 5 stars Servers were all nice and the food was out quickly Bottom Line Good tacos that are above average for the area. I wouldn't go out of my way for it, but definitely getting a good meal if you go here

Tacos are very well served with wacamole on top., Salsa bar is great. Amazing flavor tacos, we got asada and chicken. The horchacha was good and not overwhelmingly sweet.

Food is awesome. Employees are nice and friendly. Kitchen organization seems lacking. Friday evening, 15 minutes to order, line out the door... but there is only one person taking orders. Ordered 2 chicken and 2 steak tacos, possibly the most common items, but orders cannot go out of order? 35 minutes for 4 tacos...

Tacos are good i tried the alpastor, cabeza, and tripas. Best one is was the alpastor. My friend tried the asada burrito and it was a good size but it looked dry to much rice and beans. Horchata was too sweet for my taste. The worst part is that they are not taking card payments anymore only cash.

Tried the suadero, cabeza, pastor, and carne tacos. The suadero and carne were both a bit tough and on the salty side. The pastor and cabeza, though, were pretty solid. The guacamole and pickled onions were also extremely salty. Someone was a little heavy handed with the seasoning that day. Overall, not terrible, but there are definitely better TJ-style taco spots out there.

I had two tacos asada & two tacos al pastor. The asada tacos had good flavor but there was just way too much juice to where the tortillas were falling apart. The al pastor tacos were good just a little on the greasy side for me.

Line was out the door, great atmosphere, not too much seating considering its packed, and this location is a bit small, but people tend to eat quick and leave. Tacos were mid, solid 3.9 would come again but a bit expensive for what your getting, theirs better out their but the fact they sell beer as well is pretty cool. Asada was good, al pastor didnt really have much flavor,

The food stand was great. This new location that opened is not that great. Tacos needed flavor. The guacamole sauce is just creamy. Did not taste like guacamole should. The three other salsas offered had no flavor and no spice. Grilled onions were good.

So realistically, if we were to just review the food, it's definitely really good. However the price really drives me away. Idk about anyone else but I have a rule I follow called the 3 doller rule. If a taco place makes me pay more than 3 bucks, it ain't worth it no matter how good it is. The food is fantastic but the price is way too high for me. Im not trying to spend $12+ on 3 tacos when there's probably street tacos that are the same size, half the price, and taste just as good.
