Chic coffee shop right in Marlboro. Outstanding coffee, food and vibes.
Great espresso, delicious toasts, beautiful atmosphere
Best coffee ever ! Stumbled on this place and it’s an instant favorite!!! Everything about the place is special and the owner is vested in his product and takes pride in his work.
Have only been here twice but will definitely be going back often. Terrific coffee & such lovely service.
Best coffee
LOVE this place… i just went there for the first time earlier in the week and have already been back twice since then!! atmosphere is so cute. The coffee is really yummy and I always recommend getting a croissant.
Fantastic addition to Marlboro and the entire 9W area. Finally have a great coffee shop. Lattes were excellent as were our toasts
This place is hands down the best coffee shop in the area. Worth going out of your way for.
Coffee is excellent! Wish I could go everyday
Our first visit to Fermata today! Loved everything about it! Great coffee, delicious light fare, and wonderful overall vibe! We will be back!
Cute and cozy cafe. Great presentation on food and drinks. Clean bathroom lol
Excellent food, service and atmosphere. How lucky are we to have Fermata Cafe in our little town of Marlboro!!!
Such a wonderful gem to have in our hometown! Beautiful ambiance and delicious beverages and treats!
Beautiful place with great offerings! Staff was pleasant while hard at work!
My new favorite coffee spot! The space itself is stunning inside and out, with rustic and modern touches—really cozy. I came with a friend and we enjoyed some sweet and savory toast options which were lovely. I also appreciated their list of unique coffee drinks and homemade syrups. Will definitely be back!
Best coffee shop I’ve been to in the Hudson valley. The atmosphere is amazing and the coffee is above and beyond. The owner is so nice. Definitely go when you get the chance. Totally worth it :)
Excellent experience at the Fermata! Located in Marlboro NY, just 90 minutes above NYC, is a warm-welcoming, cozy feeling coffee shop bringing an authentic experience to its customers. Coffee was fresh, milk was perfectly steamed, and the hint of flavor made it perfect!! Their “seasonal” toast option was delicious. Very authentic taste palette and the vibes were so cozy inside the cafe. Lots of customers were inside socializing, excited to hear about a new local business in the Hudson Valley!! I chatted with the owners briefly with excitement and curiosity to know more about them! I stumbled upon this place while looking for a new place to edit my photos (photographer here!). I can’t wait to come back and try more options off their menu! Check them out!! Their prices are very reasonable as well. You can’t go wrong! Thanks Fermata for a very welcoming visit!!
The new coffee cafe in town of Marlboro is lovely. Matcha latte for me & cappuccino for Kris. Seasonal toast was delicious. Sourdough bread with a spices spread, delicate apples, & honey. We went on a Saturday morning around 8:45. There were children and adults of all ages present. It could be relaxing at times and high energy at times. There are several different comfortable styles of seating from couch & oversized chairs to bistro tables with cafe chairs to a rounded countertop. They offer a large hot and cold coffees menu, a few other beverages, & food includes 3 styles of toast, croissants, & a few other baked goods options. We loved it. They are newly open for just under a week. Try Fermata - local ingredients, local artists!
What a lovely, small, coffee shop. The drinks were absolutely fantastic and the space was calm and joyful at the same time. Parking is around the corner, not by the front door google sends you to. This is more of a "catch up with an old friend" coffee shop not a "work alone on your laptop" type of place. Ill be back soon.
Great new spot in Marlboro. Best coffee north of 84 for sure. Great vibe and locally owned
Wonderful coffee and experience! Ian and the team are amazing here and make exceptional coffee. Can’t wait to come back!
Their fresh roasted coffee is stellar both on its own and in their unique specials. The "Sage Advice" espresso seltzer special is so perfectly balanced I felt like I was drinking a cocktail. Interior feels both elegant and cozy, and the little details like coat hooks under the countertop make you feel cared for. So excited this spot is in Marlboro!
Excited to have such a wonderful coffee shop in Marlboro! Our cappuccinos and pastries were delicious, and it's a great space.
@HV_FOODIE here, we ♥️ Fermata

Excellent coffee with an amazing owners and staff. The café is clean, welcoming, and full of good vibes. Don’t miss the seasonal toast—it’s delicious!
By far the best coffee in the area. Love that they are open early, and support local artisans with their treats on display! The atmosphere was cozy and the staff is super nice. Highly recommend stopping in alone or with a friend to relax for a change of pace. PS try the apple cardamom latte! 🥰
Just enjoyed the best cup of coffee and "the sweet" toast with it. Such a great little cafe with great customer service. So nice to have in Marlboro.
Delicious coffee and a warm and well-designed setting. I love that they use so many wonderful local vendors. Marlboro needed a place exactly like this. Yippie!
I’ve been here three different times now, and I’m pleased with the consistency of the pastries, drinks, and service. The atmosphere is perfect for a brisk autumn day. It’s great to have a place like this here in Marlboro, and I hope they continue to have success!
Excellent -- coffee drinks, food, decor, ambiance. All of it is incredibly well executed. So excited to have this place.
The coffee was so yummy, really really yummy. It was clean, friendly staff. I did order a croissant which was a little burnt & made it not as enjoyable.
While the atmosphere was relaxing and interesting, the mocha with chili spiced coffee was so good!! The fact that alternate milk was available was appreciated :) I had a piece of local sourdough toast with sunflower butter topped with blueberries and sunflower seeds, what a treat! The menu has great choices, I already know what I want to try the next time I go.

We went this morning ! The space is beautiful and comfy! I would have loved to been greeted , stood at register like 15 minutes before being recognized, it wasn’t too busy! We ordered the seasonal and savory both delicious! Matcha latte was good happy to see it was ceremonial matcha! Coffee was hot ! I am happy to see a small business pop up in Marlboro, I will definitely try again, however hopefully the service gets as good as the appearance and the yummy food!!

I stumbled upon this coffee shop online and decided to check it out with my friend, as we are both local to the area. The atmosphere is nice, but that doesn’t mean much if the drinks are not at the standards they should be. Now, I cannot speak for every single drink on the menu, but the matcha latte and chai latte proved to be major disappointments. I ordered the former and before even swirling it, there was but little specks of matcha at the top, indicating that there was hardly any matcha. After swirling, when I tasted it, all I got was the oat milk. I did not order oat milk. I ordered a matcha latte. In the past, I have gotten matcha lattes from other local businesses and they can be light in color and still taste like matcha, but this was not the case. In fact, it was exceptionally bad. My friend order a hot chai latte and after tasting it myself, the drink was highly diluted. Despite *smelling* good, the taste itself did not reflect what a chai latte should entail. I recognize this is a new business, but I still want a decent quality of drinks. I do not typically write reviews, but I feel as if others should know what to expect — a matchaless drink that is milk in a cup and a joke of a “chai” latte that is all but diluted to the point where the spices are nonexistent. Attached on the left is the matcha, and as a reference photo, on the right, I have included what the drink should’ve resembled. In the end, the photos speak for themselves.
