Koi Asian Cuisine Maspeth Reviews
This place is amazing. The service was excellent and the server was very pleasant. We order a bunch of delicious food. My son was very curious about the katana and the server showed the real blade and he even got to hold it. Thank you!!
My new favorite spot! A hidden gem in Queens with amazing food and even more amazing service. Will definitely be revisiting!!
Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. The sushi was fresh, high quality, and full of flavor, especially the hand roll—it was amazing. The environment was cozy and well-designed, very relaxing and comfortable. You can really tell they care about both the food and the dining experience. Highly recommend!
This is my 5 year old son’s favorite place to go for his eel sushi and calamari . Love this place the service the food . Food is very reasonable .
This sushi restaurant was really good. I ordered a bento box and everything in it was delicious. I also tried the sushi, and it tasted really fresh and really good. The waitress was super nice and very sweet, which made the experience even better. I would definitely come back and recommend this place
Delicious food! Have been a few times and each time the food is fresh and comes out super quick. Amazing service as well! Spicy edamame 10/10 so addicting Sushi 9/10 big pieces of fish, it's fresh, yum! Ramen 9/10 have tried the spicy, regular, and chicken udon and they're all flavorful and delicious! Also tried the thai iced tea and its very yum
Unbelievable find in this town. Superb kitchen food (Pad Thai & Yakisoba). We also had Tokyo Duck Roll and Soft shell crab, unexpectedly delicious. Sushi bar offers wonderful fresh options. We had sushi and sashimi combo, with elegant presentation. We had wonderful dining experience with the waitress.
Best and freshest sushi I’ve had! My husband and I stumbled upon this restaurant while running errands in the area. We were greeted with such welcoming service and great portions. My husband got the Thai beef fried rice, which had a nice little kick to it, while still being balanced and simple. I got the shrimp tempura roll, crab tempura, and tuna avocado roll, which were portioned well and made with fresh ingredients (look at how beautiful those avo cuts are!). Anyway, 10/10
I order two sushi party tray from koi Asian cuisine and it’s was amazing! Everything was fresh.beautiful arranged, and full of flavors. Rolls were generous, the presentation was stunning, and all my kids loved it-especially the mango and eel rolls! The staff were friendly and helpful, and the pickup was smooth and fast.Highly recommended this place for parties, holidays,or any special gathering.I will definitely order again!
My wife and I love getting Koi for to go but when we saw that they have a dine in only lunch special, we knew we had to try it. My wife had the mackerel and I had the red snapper. We also ordered a piece of sushi on the side as well. Each set was $14 and for the amount of food we got, this was a great deal! I don’t know how long this deal is going to last so if your near the area and want great food and great deal, you really need to check out Koi!
Absolutely a great place for stomach’s satisfaction. It is a neat place. Had a meal with my friends in here recently. We shared what we ordered. Got 2 boxes and few sashimi. Boxes, it comes with different dishes. The chicken teriyaki was pretty juicy, and tempura so crunchy. Lunch box only $12.95 and $13.95. The raw fish was extremely fresh. Gonna come back next time.
I can tell this place is different from other restaurants. Most just serve Japanese food, but here you also get the Japanese cultural vibe. It’s not just about the food — it’s a treat for your taste buds and your eyes, with a cool exotic feeling. This is my go-to spot whenever I want Asian food.
Wow so glad this store opened up!! Very clean and decorated. Beyond excited that I finally found my go to sushi place that’s nearby my place. Workers are very friendly and welcoming. The waiting time for the food was 5-10 mins. My mom and I enjoyed our meal a lot. So delicious and flavorful. Definitely recommend to my asian food lovers!!! 🤗
Today my friend and I tried this place for the first time and ordered takeout.we had a Teriyaki salmon lunch.sashimi lunch, and three rolls. The Teriyaki Salmon portion was generous, and the sashimi and sushi rolls were very fresh. The three of us really enjoyed our meal, and we’ll definitely come back next time to try dining in.
We came here on Friday at 5pm. Staff is friendly and welcoming and detail. Quiet and spacious space. Food is amazing, they prepared so well. I had spicy miso ramen and my husband had super bento box. He is little picky when it comes to food but he really enjoyed the food here. Price is amazing compared to their serving portion. Definitely come back for everything else on their menu (no more pricy Williamburgs 😂)!!!
It was such a wonderful experience. The food was a 10/10 , the chicken teriyaki and the koi fried rice were cooked to perfection- you could taste the freshness of the ingredients and how all the flavors came together! *chefs kiss*. The service was excellent and attentive as well as when busy did acknowledge and apologize. I will definitely come back and recommend to others as well ✨.
Everything was perfect. The atmosphere is clean, light and airy, the service is fast and friendly, and the food. Wow. Unexpectedly SO FRESH especially the fish and veggies. Portioned extremely well, great bang for your buck. Food is prepared very well in cooking method (like the light and crispy katsu batter) or presentation (see pic). EXTREMELY UNDERRATED SPOT.
I am so obsessed with their Koi fried rice! I just had it 2 days in a row. It’s packed to the brim and every single bite had some protein. EVERY SINGLE BITE. I haven’t ate at the store yet but I had takeout several times. Their lunch bento boxes, koi fried rice, pad Thai and a party tray. Everything is delicious and the quality is consistent!
KOI ASIAN COUSINE is absolutely amazing! As someone who is very picky about both food and service, I can confidently say this place exceeds all expectations. Every dish I’ve tried has been delicious, fresh, and incredibly clean, perfect for food lovers who appreciate quality. What truly sets KOI apart is the exceptional service. The staff is beyond kind, attentive, and welcoming, making every visit feel special. It’s no wonder this has become **mine and my husband’s go-to spot every weekend!** ❤️
We visited this place to order takeout. The place is nice and clean. The girl taking our order was polite, friendly, and answered all our questions thoroughly. We ordered four different types: hot Manhattan and Volcano rolls, Philadelphia rolls, and sushi with three different types of fish. The order was prepared quickly, in 15 minutes. I'll say right away that we've tried many rolls and sushi in different countries. What can I say? These are certainly not the best rolls we've ever had. The portions are small, the rice isn't very tasty. They put so little wasabi and ginger that it's not enough for one person. Of everything we ordered, only the warm rolls were half-heartedly satisfying. Compared to other Asian places in NYC, it's not bad at all. Overall, I recommend it.
