Went to UofC hospital for a few appointments in the last 5 months. We stopped here every time for lunch. drive thru. Order was taken fast, food was delivered fast, hot and no discrepancies. 2or3 every single time. Highly recommend.

Love the Whopper and their new Impossible burger is good too! As of June 2025, I got their Dragon Whopper with bacon and the bun tasted old and dried out in certain spots. If no one is buying it then stop trying to sell that old bun. And the beef patties have gotten thin like McDonald's. 🙄

I ate here for lunch today and had quite possibly the best Whopper I have had in my life. They made it perfectly, I asked for just mustard, ketchup and onion and WOW was it good. The customer service was also really really amazing! You have a fantastic location here that truly cares about the customer experience! Thank you so much!!!

Perfect fries!! Ask to have them made fresh for a no salt option, add your own, if you desire. We used the drive thru and the agent was so nice, focused and calm. Yes, we miss the bonus fries at the bottom of the bag, but they were so neat and hot in the little container that we did not mind. Very nice! Thank you for being near the VA Hospital. We appreciated it after we finished our business there.

It is very calming and the service depending on your time of arrival is quite fast. The employees are very nice to everyone who enters. Sure a few things like the soda machine is outdated but it just takes someone with patience to not care so much. The environment around is very clean, I just don't see why it gets low reviews.

The store was clean, the only issue I had was the food was just warm and not hot and the hash browns weren't hot at all as if they had sat in the bin a little too long. The customer service was good, overall a good experience just needed hot and not just like warm food.

It's a good choice for Loyola and other local employees. I went there after an exhausting day. My husband was hospitalized at Loyola and I couldn't imagine making dinner when I got home. There are many food choices around but knew the normal quality at Burger King. I was not enthusiastic about the food; they didn't ask if I wanted everything on̈ the burger, and the milkshake was so runny (and had an open top) that when I picked it up it spilled all over me, my belongings and my car, including my seat. There's a lesson here. Plus, they have a 10% tax on fast food!

You never get enough tomatoes to cover the whopper, 2 little dried up slices, nothing like the commercial, then they NEVER open on time, and if you go there late in the evening it's to dark, the sign is barley lit and the parking lot is dark.

The bathrooms here are disgusting. I poked my head in the girl’s bathroom (men’s needed a key) and not only does it smell like the sewer is backed up in both bathrooms, but the men’s had no toilet paper. This is the third time I’ve been to this Burger King in the past year and each time it’s the same. Food was okay, but I don’t generally eat at places that don’t know how to keep a bathroom clean, the people using that are cooking the food.

While I chose this Burger King more for the proximity to the nearest restroom more so then the dining experiance(escaping the bumper to bumper expressway traffic),I did order a couple of Whoppers and a Coke.The Coke was immediately handed to me,but the wait for the burgers was extremely long,not due to the worker who made it,but due to the lack of organization in getting those already made sandwiches to the me.I feel this was caused by the excess attention given to the drivethrough window, while neglecting the walkup traffic.I finally asked a worker for those burgers after this long wait,and they were promptly given to me after I described my order to the worker.The Whoppers were average,which I expected,but they were very disorganized,and this was at 3PM,I would hate to be a customer at dinner time

They have terrible service. Waiting in their line should be considered a job. The restroom is disgusting, it stinks, and there was tissue all over the floor. There were two people in front of me and the lady places her order and gets a free drink. So the man in front of me places an order and says "Well can I get free drink too?" and the cashier says "No, she was in line like 20 minutes." Then the man says "So have we" any way I'm not sure if its racial thing but the lady who got a pop was Mexican and everyone who works in there is Hispanic. They also ignore customers when questions are asked.

Very disappointed this visit as the croissants seemed like they were cooked earlier and recooked it was not fresh at all and I ordered four of them. Plus the girl at the window doesn't know how to do the rewards as I was having trouble trying to get a free Coke with my crowns. She had no idea regarding rewards at all which is totally ridiculous. Everybody at that place should know how to redeem rewards

The employees do the best they can within the time limits and on the menu they have. No matter what sandwich option you choose, if it is a bread product, it is always stale and dry. It is never fresh. And it tastes off like it's been sitting out in the open air for a week before the before they top it and give it to you. The restroom is always either out of order or unavailable. The dining room is occasionally kept clean, but usually there are a minimum of three or four tables that have not been cleaned in at least a few days. The freestyle Coca-Cola machine needs a new screen cover because it is slow to respond and hard to read. Again, the employees are on point with the limited amount of time they have between drive-thru customers. If I were to suggest anything to the management, it's to spend a little more time focusing on cleanliness and maintenance of the facility. I have visited this location on numerous occasions. Either they have a regular customer who smokes or an employee who smokes and they light up and exhale their first cloud of smoke in the entryway. Every time I visit, I have to hold my breath when I enter or exit because the vestibule reeks of tobacco smoke.

Burger King and ordered two whooper with cheese and two large fries, when I got home I got two bacon with no cheese and clod fries and burger, I am trying to call them to let them know but their phone is busy , if you ever go to Burger King, check your food before you leave because you will be upset just like me specially when I don’t eat pork and don’t have any pork products in my apartment,

Racist scum bags, I was sitting in the restaurant and getting verbally abused through people driving through the drive through. The employees and staff have a horrible idea of professional and appropriate behavior. I am disturbed from this experience. Verbal abuse causes minor depression the behavior was killing me.

Worst experience and customer service and food EVER on the corner of 1st ave and Roosevelt Road in maywood il- May 27th 2017. It's almost 10pm. It takes 5 minutes for me to arrive at the order window, and they tell me to please wait a moment. 5 minutes later I'm still waiting. I call "hello?" In case they forgot i was here. I call out two more times for 3 more minutes and they finally respond. I order a jr wopper with cheese, no tomato. That is all. $2.52. I drive around and see 2 cars. I continue to wait an additional 7 minutes for the first car to pull off and 2 minutes for the car ahead of me. Without those barricades and the cars behind me, I would have left the line and went to white castle next door. But i wait till it's my turn. I get to the window and exchange payment for food. I check my burger and it was cold. I said, "this is cold." The cashier, (who is also apparently the manager - my cousin found out) named Emily snapped on me saying "Well all the condiments are on ice so the burger would be cold once the tomato, the lettuce, and the onions are put on the burger." I replied, "First, I didn't order tomatoes. I've also gotten burgers from here before and they were fine. I shouldn't have to wait in this line for over 15 minutes for cold food." Emily snappy as before replied "its just going to be the same as before". I said "ok" and handed her the bag. She told me to pull over to the side (which she should have told the first car) and not even 2 minutes later they came out and handed me the burger. I opened it and the entire wrapper and burger was microwaved. How do I know? The wrapper was hot, the buns were soggy and hot, the lettuce was limp and hot, the pickles were not crunchy and hot, and it was the same sandwich because i had torn the same wrapper as the one i handed Emily. I can't answer why I was given very poor customer service, I can't answer why Emily was so snappy, I can't answer why I was given this sad sap of a so-called whopper, I cant answer why my burger was cold, I can't answer why I waited this long for such a sad sap of a burger. I don't even think this is a burger. If I had not thrown it in the trash, I would've posted the picture. I'm just sad, hungry, and tired. All I wanted was a Whopper Jr from my fave BK location. I told my cousin, Kay, about this and she called the location for me because I didn't have the energy to talk to someone who is obviously not customer-driven. My cousin had asked for the manager to talk about a complaint. Kay then told Emily of the poor customer service I received and the name of the cashier. Kay told me that Emily snapped on her, accused my cousin of lying saying how they never ice anything and asked if I was the customer in a blue car with the shades (I don't wear sunglasses, and the car isn't blue, it's silver). Again, I don't know why customer service is so poor, I don't know why my whopper jr was cold, I don't know why they microwaved it, I don't know why I had to wait so long for something so pathetic, and I don't know why I have to pay for such poor service and food. Thus, I hope this helps for those of you who think this Burger King is good. This was my favorite location. My dad and I have been coming here for years. But if this is the management now, I recommend going to poor boys next door, the neighbor-ing white castle, McDonalds a few blocks down, portillos up the road, or another location. Because NOBODY should be treated this way.

I went for breakfast @8a.m drove up to the drive-thru speaker sat for 5min. I was thinking something was wrong with the speaker as usual. So I decided to drive to the window I look in didn't see no one @ first then an employee walk past the window. She look at me and continued doing what she was doing. So I was trying to get her attention but she walked right pass me like I wasn't even there. So I drove off and went to McDonalds. She could have at least said sorry where not open right now ma'am I would have understood. But poor business

I think they served me a whopper using that "Impossible" beef they serve to vegans. The whopper was seriously lacking in content and was wrapped in the paper used for burgers using the "Impossible" meat. It was dry and had a weird flavor to it, almost mushroom texture. Never trusting this location again.

By far the worst BK I've been to and i love BK. When we got our food, the order was messd up (no big deal) and sat down, my 7 yr old noticed there was a spider on our table. We were sitting by a window and there was a huge web with spider eggs. So i piolitely go and ask for a manager, the associate (Deshea) was very nice went to get the msnager and i heard the manager sat "just ask what they want" so we told DeShea even tho i asked for manager about the disgusting spiders right by our food. We of course switched seats yet thr manager didn't come to us at all. How does a PAYING CUSTOMER who asks for a manager not get to speak to a manager? That's just unprofessional! I didn't want anything, but once i was blown off then i felt she should of come to address us thats it. I felt very disrespected so i went and asked the employee what the managers name was, she refused to trll me and went and told the msnager i wanted her name so she came but sold so i couldn't see her name tag, when i asked her name she hesistated and then said her name was ALICIA. I don't know if that was her nsme or not but i stsrted to tell her that when asked for a manager you shouldn't be blown off and then when you find out its about your store being unsanitary and spider eggs by all the tables by the window and as a manager to find that out and still not address the custoner is disrespectful and unprofessional to say the least. But as i was telling alucia she got ride so i left. I'm very angry.

Most bland fast food I've had in my life. Tried a $1 taco, I don't understand how you can make food with zero flavor, but somehow they pulled it off with their tacos and fries. Chicken fries tasted like a burnt sponge, drink machine doesn't have ice... I haven't had Burger King in at least a year, but I don't remember it being this horrible. The place is clean though...

This BK is terrible, they constantly mess up orders and the customer service is horrible. Last week we tried to go there after leaving them alone for an extended amount of time due to their errors, when we pulled up to the drive through they said they were not taking orders. We went back today to give them another chance. We ordered onion rings that were left out of the bag and they gave us Dr Pepper because they didn't feel like changing out the Coke.

7/2020 Went inside to order a large quantity of burgers to go. While waiting for my order, a couple came in with a child. None with masks. The couple went back through the cooking area and began emptying boxes, talking with people, etc. Not sure what they were doing there, but everyone knew them. I am glad I got my food as they came in like this. No masks, no service? No masks, NO WORK AROUND MY FOOD!!!!!! We rarely come here anyways, but will look harder for alternatives now.

She is very rude and unprofessional! I came into the store today to place an order & was not greeted professionally. I notice as she is trying to take two forms of payments for my order that she is typing the wrong amount in the cashier. I tried to inform her in order for her to correct the mistake she rudely responds I work here I know what I am doing only for her to make the mistake that could have been avoided. Once she notice what she has done I responded saying " but you know what your doing because you work here" so to make a long story short I feel if you are not in a good mood why even bother coming to work to provide bad customer service. We ordered food . Rude manager rude cashiers we asked to speak to a manager since there was no cookies or ice. The manager got really rude yelling at us so we asked for our money back and we told her to call her supervisor and let them know everyone was complaining about the food being cold and no ice . This burger gets no stars. I have never in my entire life received such bad service. The cashier left things off my order 3x's; then they didn't have my drink of choice and I settled for something that cost less..she didn't offer a refund nor suggest something to make up the price difference. I had to suggest the coverage for the difference. Then my food was cold and the manager Valerie seemed to care less about service. I was in restaurant management for over 10 years and this is totally unacceptable service. My mom, three children and I just wanted something to eat and a pleasant place to eat it. We are not from this area and always experience great service from Burger King in our neighborhood.

The manager that was on duty on July 2nd at 630am was nasty and rude. She was a Hispanic lady who look like she had been drinking all night. We pull up to order 2 number 3s she was rude and had a nasty attitude so we proceeded to pay attitude was still nasty so we said no we dont want the order and she said well bye. It was the grace of God who saved her and I'm gonna leave it at that. I will be calling corporate every day until she is either fired or transferred. Please train your staff how to properly communicate with customers this could have went very bad. Life is to short for anyone to disrespect paying customers who simply pulled up to order breakfast.

Today's Sunday May 21, 2017. I arrived at the store and went to the drive thru. I had to pull up to the window to order and was ignored after being asked my order, obviously she had messed up previous orders because i watched at least 3 orders being punched in on the order screen. I proceeded to the window and ordered a 2 for $10 whopper meal. I was told to pull into a parking space. So i joined approximately 5 other cars to wait for food. After 15 mins i had a wrong order brought out to my car, and after waiting 5 more, I went in. To my surprise there were people waiting inside as well. Customers who gave their orders but was never rung up. The female employee seemed to think it was funny I had to walk in. I paid in the drive thru, paid, and wasn't given a receipt, so I'd hoped I wouldn't be denied my order due to forgetfullness. Bottom line the service was horrible. That is not how a major fast food chain is supposed to conduct business. I am HIGHLY disappointed!

I went there for lunch on 08/20/2017 for my first time and I will NEVER go back there, worst experience ever. Staff was loud, obnoxious and unprofessional. Floors were sticky especially the mats near the soda machines. My fries were warm and partially cooked and my burger was okay but gave me the runs in less than an hour of eating it. Corporate needs to take this store back, fire the whole staff and start over.

Ate there yesterday for lunch. Burger was so cold it didn't melt the cheese, had only 2 pickles, 2 little squirts of ketchup, one little piece of onion....sandwich was so dry it was almost inedible. Also had a fish sandwich with a bun so stale it was actually hard. Counter person did everything with her cell phone in her hand and stopped to use it letting customers wait. Cook used bare hands, no hair net, no mask. Counter person handled money then handled french fries...hair hanging over her face, no gloves. Bathrooms were filthy, waste cans full, fixture dirty, toilet paper and used gloves on the wet floor. I just prayed I wouldn't get sick. Mac Donalds, close by a few days ago was delicious, clean attentive. Maybe that is why BK was almost empty and McD's was busy.

I got a double bundle with 2 woppers, 2 Mid French fries and a Oreo shack. They only gave me the 2 woppers and for some reason they gave me chicken nuggets??. And no Oreo shack.

This place really went downhill after graduating from High School in 2010. I went here maybe 2 times in the past year of me working at my current job for my lunch breaks and I hated it. The 1st time the cashier snapped at my coworkers and I, the 2nd time my friend waited for 15 minutes for service and no one ever helped him even though they saw him waiting at the register. They even treated my family poorly when they were there. It's like c'mon....its not that hard. So 1 star.

Drive thru order; $6 Big Box and 9 piece chicken fries, the chicken fries were inedible...rubbery, like they sat under the light then refried when ordered. Went inside the restaurant to politely ask for freshly cooked chicken fries after explaining why. The employee behind the counter didn’t apologize, didn’t say sorry for the inconvenience she just opened the box, looked at the food and told the cook to make a new order. Also she was not dressed appropriately to be working in a restaurant ( heavy woman with her shirt untucked with her belly exposed and hanging below her shirt). Disgusting! Then there was another “employee” behind the counter without a uniform. First impressions are lasting and I will not be patronizing this location again.

Employees are very rude. They literally talked amongst themselves while a line began to form and we were all looking at each other like what's going on...are they open? They all had on headsets taking drive through orders while the customers in store waited for them to get the drive through line down.

Every time I go to this Burger King, they get my order wrong somehow. Its always a bad surprise when I leave the drive-thru and only find out that they didn't give me something I asked for when I've already left the restaurant and am driving down the road. Sometimes I can't check my entire order when they give it to me (for example, I often order for my whole family and it comes in 3 separate bags). I don't have time to check all of the bags before I leave the Drive-Thru window. This Burger King makes a lot more mistakes than another Burger King I frequent close to where I live close to O'Hare International Airport. The other Burger King doesn't make mistakes as frequently as this one.

Why do they remain open when 1/2 the time I attempt to get food there they either have problems with their system or the line for their drive thru doesn't move at all. Case in point, I tried ordering from the drive thru the other night (5/25) when all I hear is some lady say "our system is down for about 45 minutes". Note that this was not the 1st time this occurred as it has (conveniently) happened at random times before (or maybe not so random, could be the same lazy employee who's just buying time, eating all the food, until time to clock out). Last night (5/25) I tried again and the drive thru line would not move an inch. The cars ahead of me even got out of line and I saw a car waiting at the window. I drove by after I got food from McDonald's down the street to see the same car STILL at the window. Who knows, could've been a "friend" "visiting" and purposefully holding up the line. Whoever owns this franchise better pay attention to their employees because these antics aren't going to make them money and will lose customers to that McDonald's (or the White Castle) down the street

This location has extremely poor service! I feel like it gets worse by the day. Most days I get the sneaking feeling that the claim to not have items just so don't have to serve it. I've been craving a milkshake and everyday they claim to not have ice cream... So over it

Tried the "Chi-king". It was more like the "Disgust-king". Oversalted, overcooked wannabe chicken sandwich. I threw away half of it. I never throw away fried chicken argh. Maybe they should've took some of the chicken salt and put it on the unseasoned fries. Also had the veggie whopper. That was cool. Have dinner with the.... King? I'll pass.

I guess I shouldn't gone to Burger King in Maywood... I Ordered a Croissant meal in the Drive Thru. Large size the meal. I Repeated Twice. She handed the food to me at the pick up window. I Checked the bag to see if my order was correct. It wasn't. I asked her: "Do you have Large Meals there?" She said "Yes, I gave it to you." I showed her the small Hash Browns. She then gave me the correct Size,.. After I park to enjoy my food, my Croissant wasn't warm, but it was Stale, so Stale, I couldn't finish the Sandwich. And to Top it off: "No Napkins!"

This was the worst food ever! We had been wanting to try the Chi' King sandwich to see if it measured up to Popeye's. IT DIDN'T! I ordered 3 with no pickles on all 3. Of course they all came with pickles. It seemed like they were all pre-packaged in the wrapping and sitting in a bin because they were not hot and they were dry and all had pickles. They didn't even bother to take the pickles off. I also ordered some kind of jalapeno cheese poppers and they were so dry, it was like they had been sitting out since the day before. I should have known this wouldn't be a good experience because we got our food way too fast. We had to go to the McDonald's down the street to get our sides and I couldn't even finish the sandwich. And they want $15 an hour. First take pride in the job you're doing and refuse to serve garbage and then get the order right!

If I could give them zero stars I would. We arrived and tried to use the two chicken and fries coupon. The lady took my order and after 20 minutes waiting through the drive thru line told me she couldn't read the numbers on the coupon. I don't know what happened to the numbers but she thinks we cut the code with scissors like it was my fault. Basically, she couldn't honor the coupon because it was missing a number in the code. She just told me I couldn't get it. I'm a parent and I am totally disappointed that we could not buy what we ordered. It's obvious the people that work there don't really care. I can only imagine what that means for food quality.

My family stopped here today & there service after 3pm needed rescuing. They were short staffed, at the counter & preparing the food. The drive -up was not taking orders, & I believe because there was 2 people working, maybe a possible 3. The line was long and once we got our orders in, there wasn't any ice in the fountain drink dispenser, there wasn't any Coke, Sprite or orange fanta, maybe it was diet, but we didn't want diet drinks. The cashier was very nice but, she & the cook needed help a.s.a.p., the cashier was pouring drinks from bottles of Coke & getting ice from the dispenser at the drive up window. If I had of known all this before leaving the drive-up window, to go in & get serviced, we would of went to another BK, but because everyone in the family wanted BK, we stayed & put up with this hot mess, so if u go here & they're not taking orders in the drive-up, put the pedal to the metal & go somewheres else

Really didn’t want to give this location “no stars”! Went there on 07/26/21 to get a order of nuggets, waited in the drive thru several minutes, no one answered, so I proceeded to the window. Some young lady refused to take my order because she stated there was a customer that pulled in behind me, I told her that I was at the intercom for several minutes, she replied by saying NO YOU WERE’NT! And refused to take my order, she also said very ghetto like........ I was busy!! Not to mention the standing sewer water in the drive thru and the poorly manicured landscape around the building. Poor sanitation obvious, bad uneducated employees, can only equal one thing! Simply don’t eat here at this location. I have to wonder who owns this location? Poor customer service, and ghetto employees with no type of supervision or real training in customer service whatsoever!! Beyond pitiful!

This place is not good to be in. Services are so slow. Takes around 40 minutes to make your order. Drive thru doesn't move. Workers should be fired or corrected to do their jobs properly.

Order an Oreo Sundae and the woman at the drive thur gave me a Hershey Sundae. I wouldn't be mad, but even after I asked her, "Is this an Oreo sundae" she replied yes. Don't lie about a customer's order who is spending money at your establishment.

I'M CHANGING MY REVIEW, THIS IS ONE NASTY PLACE I ORDERA BURGER AND IT WAS NOT FIX THE RIGHT WAY I WATCHED.THE.LADY AS SHE FIX MY BURGER, WHEN THE LADY GAVE IT TO ME MY ORDER I SHOWED SHE THE BURGER I TOUCHED THE FOOD AND SHE TOUCHED THE BURGER, THE YOUNG MAN Wrap the burger back up and put it back on the rack to sell it to another customer after we touched it with our hands. I also saw the manager taking money. Put it in the register, then went proceeded to make a sandwich for a customer without washing our hands without any gloves. I look back toward the back and the lady that was fixing. The burgers was sticking her hands and the pickles and eaten pickles while she was fixeding hamburgers for customers. When I told the manager my burger wasn't right. She'd proceeded to try and argue with me. I told her customers are always right. Do not argue with me. Fixed the burger the way. I ask you, please. I am writing a letter to the board of health on this restaurant. I will never go in there and eat again but I tried it once more. And the same thing happened the cold. The workers in this Burger King are not clean at all, does not wash hands, does not wear gloves and always wanna argue with the customer. This is not good for this business. Always speaking their language. You never know what they're saying this is bad.

Don’t go here, I’ve had two bad experiences within a month. I ordered ahead and went to pick it up and the drive thru was closed, walked up to the door and the kid employee said the manager walked out (it was 5pm) and they were closed. Today, I ordered a spicy ch’king sandwhich and the lady gave me a regular one with some Buffalo sauce on it. Also had a handwritten sign in the window saying drive thru only short staffed. This location should honestly just close, it’s terrible.

I wish I could give it 0 stars. The cashier who took my order was great but the manager just had a nasty attitude was on her cellphone and told me to pull forward. I pull forward wait for my food no big deal. I was handed a bag the burger was good but these onion rings were refried. (I work at a restaurant I know) I returned to the window and complained she says they are fresh. Sticks her finger in them eats some of them and then just puts more on top to get me to shut up. I’m sorry but that was very unprofessional. Tell me that these onion rings are fresh. I know mistakes happen but it wouldn’t have been such a big deal if the lady was a bit more profesional about it.
