Mi Pueblo Medellin Reviews
The food was seasoned to perfection. I had a Menu del Dia ($1050 COP). I was asked what kind of meat I wanted (Beef, Chicken or Pork), I was also asked what kind of soup ( I chose the bean soup), and also my choice in drink (I chose El Guarapo - juice squeezed from sugar cane). Great Value for your Money, all kindly served with Paisa Hospitality. A big Thank You to Diana (The Waitress), for her kind service.
Good food, great view and nice attention!

Good food, great view and nice attention!
Fantastic good food
I want again
They serve a diverse amount of food from a choose two-sided pictured menu of the food. The food that we had was very good and served quickly. The servers are friendly and plesent. If you're in the central shopping, then I would suggest stopping by having lunch. Enjoy!
Food is very good and at a reasonable price.

Fun lunch spot along Junín. A bit pricer than Restaurante Donde Cesar, but Mi Pueblo takes credit cards and Samsung Pay. I ordered from the Tradición Colombia part of the menu and got Ajiaco Santafereño. I didn't quite know what to expect. When rhe food arrived, it came in a bowl and on a plate. With the help of AI (haha), I had a great food experience: The soup in the bowl had chicken, corn on the cob, and potatoes in it. The plate had rice, shredded cabbage, a slice of avocado, and a whole peeled banana (not plantain). On the side were a good tablespoon of crema de leche (cream) and alcaparras (capers). I tried the soup first and was surprised at how bland it was. Then I learned you're supposed to add the cream to it to taste, and then gradually spoon in the capers, which were very salty, as you eat. Then the soup took on better taste. I also spooned some of the rice into the soup and took out the corn on the cob so I could eat it by hand. Our waiter was very friendly and professional. He didn't speak English. The atmosphere was very pleasant. We sat at the edge of the balcony fence right next to the coffee plants. I would love to come again!
Ordered lunch of the day. Very cheap and local.

Good restaurant for people who like traditional Colombian, deep fried food. I was not too impressed with the bathroom with no seat. The price was quite high.

Ordinary steak and fries. Better options around.

If you’re walking down Junín and looking for flavourful food this wouldn’t be my first choice. We were starving for lunch and decided to eat here since my family had eaten here before and boy were we disappointed. The punta de anca and churrasco meat were tough and had no seasoning or real flavour that carne asada usually has. The fries were good and the salad was ok . The food we got for the price we paid wasn’t worth it . A restaurant that is located in such a busy tourist area should serve better quality dishes.
