La Nita's Restaurant Merced Reviews
Have been to this extraordinary place under the new name Casa Victoria for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Everytime was an A+ 100%. I Recommend!
My hubby and I enjoyed the food there. They passed my husband's "bean test". The staff was exceptional. Nice to see some familiar faces there.
Had the chilaquiles. They were good. Green sauce was good, as was the carrots. Cozy little place. Was waited on by the owner. Great place run by the 3rd generation. Will be back for sure. Spend $80 for 3, including tip. Prices are reasonable for sure.
This is such a Refreshing restaurant for Atwater! The service is next level... Always nice, when when slammed with tables. They are generous with their portions! The only thing I have to say is I didn't like their Albondigas Soup. Next lunch I ordered a crunch taco and a cheese enchilada, a la carte! My God sooooo delicious and the bill totaled like $9. Anyway, totally recommend!!!!
Great food and service. I come here regularly. Love the specials. Update: Nothing has changed. Just finished my birthday dinner and thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was great and so was the service. Update: (thank Google) still one of my favorite places in town. I really enjoy coming here.
Here for the first time 😃 Clean restroom 👍Good Food Great Customer Service I ordered a Mamosaand the chili Quiles with chili Verde sauce OMgosh it is spicy But really Good 😋 Thank you to my waitress I will be back with my son’s
YUM , I have never been disapointed . And today we were surprised with a breakfast buffet . Only for Mothers day and Fathers day . Any other day there regular menu is perfect . Friendly service is a plus !!! Ps I realize my plate looks a mess but it was difficult to choose from all the great choices . 😆
Awesome food, really enjoyed the fish tacos!
Food is amazing. The service was awesome. The Chile relleno was flavorful
We are going to miss our Saturday night date night here. La'Nitas was our very first date night 30 years ago your restaurant in merced and today July 6th 2025 we ended it here at your restaurant Bella Nitas in Atwater. THANK YOU ALL FOR THE LOVE AND HOSPITALITY We are going to miss our young ladies host... all the Anna's
For years. this place has been a staple of the local community. What for many years was La Nita's was taken over by the next generation of the Perez family as Rudy & Debbie retired, and was reintroduced as Bella Nita's. The same family recipes are alive and well today. Great food.. their famous carrots. It's all here. We always get the shredded beef burrito supreme. It never disappoints. Great food and great friendly service and you can't go wrong. They also have a full bar for those looking to enjoy an ice cold spirit. Looking to host an event? They have a banquet room in the back as well.
The rice and beans were pretty good the shrimp could be a lil be more seasoned and spicier in my opinion. I ordered the camarones a la diabla and a Mexican mimosa. The drink was pretty good also considering the big amount I was served. Having chips and salsa while was waiting is always nice. It wasn't too spicy but they have a green salsa that's a lil bit more spicier. I'll probably come back.
Nice staff. Food was good, service was good. Kind of slow but service was good.
It was just okay. The food was good but nothing special. The salsa was very spicy and much more like a picante sauce versus salsa. The service was friendly but slow, with no one checking on us, bringing the check, etc.
The food was ehhh... to be honest. Was not expecting it to be like that. The drink was good. The tacos were okay for the most part but the nacho was disappointing. The cheese looked like it was shredded cheese microwaved on top of the chips. We asked for a jalapenos and honestly was even more disappointed to find out that it was fresh jalapenos and not even pickled jalapenos. Overall the atmosphere was lively and the our waitress tried her best to accommodate us. The food was just not it and it wasn't her fault which I felt bad.
The staff was nice and it was very clean . The food was not as good. I carrots in vinegar were mushy. I ordered a chimichanga , it had no sauce on it which is not a big deal, but it had tomatoes in it . I did not mind the bell peppers. Onions would have worked better than tomatoes in my opinion. I could tell that the beans were old , may say out , they were sour tasting. We had shrimp fajitas. The vegetable were close to being burnt and the shrimp tasted as if they were old or been in a refrigerator for a while. All I could taste on the salsa was the oregano. We paid good money, I really hope that the kitchen staff can put more love into there work . I will be back in a couple of months, hopefully I see a difference. The price would not matter if the quality matched.
This was our first time trying Bella Nita’s, the service was awesome - the food? Terrible. I ordered the nacho supreme which ended up ONLY being BEANS MEAT & CHEESE (microwaved cheese) my husband ordered a burrito supreme which he liked but when we got the bill they charged EXTRA for the meat/chicken that you choose. Would not recommend this place.
Unfortunately All the negative reviews are accurate . Super dry food no flavor. No real cook to make authentic Mexican food! And the COUNTRY music was disturbing along with the picture of the Caucasian lady hanging up. Representing or taking advantage of Mexican culture. 2 waitresses can’t run the the whole restaurant and cook real Mexican food. The place Smelled like a musty motel and towels rather than great food you should be smelling. Good luck . Do not recommend. :-)
So the place that use to be Bella nitas over charge and the food was either under cooked or had no flavor at all the new restaurant there not a fan of at all.
Friendly service, but the food was not great. There are other places in town that have more authentic Mexican food. The beans tasted like they were from a can and the salsa tasted like it was tomato sauce with chili powder. I ordered a beef chimichanga. It was a good portion but the inside was a fajita mix with bell peppers and onion, my sister got a chicken one and said it was lacking salt and it also had a bell pepper onion mix inside which was weird.
