La Pizza Mexico Reviews
Incredible pizza. Super fresh ingredients and done to perfection. I ordered the Vegan and it was nearly too beautiful to eat! Delicious! Will be back!
Damn fine pizza! No exaggeration: spectacularly excellent. I had a 7 cheese and added mushroom and could have died then a happy man having lived a full life. My sister had a vegetarian that she loved too. We took back a Queen Margarita for my wife and, again, delicious. I would not have ever expected to get a pizza this good in Mexico City but I'd come back just to eat there again!
Probably the best pizza in the city. At least my favorite. It’s a Neapolitan style pizza but they are so creative with the flavor mixes. Any pizza will surprise you. My favorite is the classic 7 cheeses. Two single size pizzas for two people should be good. On busy days it can be quite some time before you get a table but it is totally worth it.
Delicious pizza. We have tried Margarita, Serrano Ham, and Pepperoni (fav. By far). Loveee the roasted garlic and herbs/seasoning on the pepperoni. The crust is perfect and the flavor is impeccable. The salad is also delicious!! Even my 9yr old enjoyed it. Have been here 3x (dine in & to go orders) in less than 2 weeks and don’t plan on going to any other pizza spot while my family and I are in CDMX. If dinning in, be prepared to wait if it’s during traditional lunch/dinner hours. Take out order taken via WhatsApp.
A friend from Guanajuato recommended this place.. maybe the best pizza in my life? Without getting into my qualifications to make such a statement... suffice it to say, I know good pizza. I also know bad pizza as well as excellent pizza. THIS is excellent pizza. Why? The balance of the crust ratio to its chewiness and flavor, the toppings we chose The Bypass (true to it's name, cured meats and more). Not our typical choice as we're more classic Margarita people.. but, we were prepared. What balance of flavor, texture, temperature.. all of it. Service was lovely (everyone working has buy in) The salad was a standout too, but maybe that's a whole separate review. I'm dreaming of our return visit. Is tomorrow too soon?
All kinds of Napoli style pizza. When you pass by, you will be attracted by the smell of clay oven as well as the crispiness of the pizza crust. If two people, I suggest gets small individual portion so you can try two different flavors. We got pineapple which has a sweet touch and pepperoni pizza. They are all very good.
Omg! I happened upon this pizza place while traveling in Mexico City and it was the best! We got 3 pies the 3 cheese, jamon, and pepperoni -all personal sized/small. Great for sharing. The flavors were all so delicious. Amazing crust and was able to eat street side on the cute little outdoor patio area. 10/10 after eating tacos for 2 days this pizza was a change from the norm and we loved it will definitely be going back for more!
Great food. We had 2 large pizzas, 2 salads, and the potato & veg appetizer... every item was great. Perfect portion for our party of 4 people. Update: The pizza that has their name, Nosferatu, was disappointing. It looked great, and the crust was excellent, but otherwise, it was lacking. Also, the house salad was overdressed and salty. They do not have very many tables, so we had to wait about 30 minutes. Though they do serve alcohol, they will not serve you while you wait.
This pizza place located in the Condesa neighborhood had a unique ambiance. The majority of the seating was outside on the street, and there was a nearby artisanal beer store that added to its charm. Although we visited during a holiday, the atmosphere was not very lively, and we had to wait a long time to get the attention of a server. Ordering was also very slow. We ordered a Felix mineral water and an artisanal beer from Tijuana, Mexico, and were excited to try the primavera pizza, which was beautifully decorated with toppings. However, the elaborate presentation made it difficult to enjoy. The Serrano ham was wrapped in a way that made it challenging to deconstruct the pizza, and the abundance of ricotta was overwhelming, requiring discarding the majority of the cheese from each slice. Although the pizza looked impressive, the actual eating experience was disappointing. Pizza is supposed to be a simple pleasure, but this version was overly complicated. The service was decent but not noteworthy, and every aspect of our visit seemed to take longer than it should have, including paying the bill. Despite the positive reviews, we found our experience to be lacking and ultimately disappointing.
