My wife and I ate at this restaurant while staying at the hotel during a medical conference. The staff were quick and accommodating here. The restaurant was nice and open, airy, and the outdoor accommodations were excellent, and that is where we sat for dinner. We had a truffle laden brioche for an appetizer, which was absolutely delicious. My main course was five out of five, and absolutely killer. It was a braised beef shank with the bone marrow included. We absolutely loved it. My wife had a chicken dish which is also delicious. Dessert was excellent, but not on the same level that my main dish was. Overall, we recommend the restaurant, especially if you’re staying at the Ritz.

We stayed at the Ritz Carlton for 5 days and ate at Fuego y Mar for breakfast, lunch by the pool and dinner twice. For breakfast, the breakfast buffet features fluffy scrambled eggs, made to order modettes, bacon, sausage, assorted breads, fruit and berries, yogurts, juices. I enjoyed the Avocado Toast from the menu which was two slices of bread with a layer of roasted tomato tapenade, lots of avocado, and greens and pickled onions on top. It came with some crunch quinoa. For the pool lunch, the Chicken Sandwich and Tuna Poke on a rice cake (rice that was roasted and in a patty form) were our favorites, and the shrimp tacos were good. For dinner, my husband got the Red Snapper and I had the Shrimp with Orecchiette. It came with 5 nice size shrimp and plenty of orecchiette pasta. The Bits of Beet Salad was a lovely appetizer to share. Another dinner, we had the Bits of Beet salad, and Back to the Bone (tenderloin in beef marrow with potato puffs). It was different and unique but not something I would get a gain. We also ordered the Tuna Poke off the bar menu. I would say the desserts are a standout at Fuego Y Mar and worth just going to try the various desserts. I had the Chocolate Heaven which was like a chocolate panna cotta with various types of chocolate around it including a bon bon of chocolate ice cream covered in chocolate. My husband had the raspberry dessert which he did not want to share. Dinners including tip were around $180 with one drink per person.

We had a wonderful dining experience at the restaurant! Our waiter provided excellent service, and the food was delicious. However, there were a bit too many mosquitoes around, which was a minor inconvenience. Overall, a great place with amazing flavors!

Delicious food, fun atmosphere, beautiful location. Absolutely loved the fish tacos with delicious sauce and Hawaiian pizza. Husband had a cocktail special that was good. Enjoyed a laid back lunch with friends. Our server was so kind to bring a beautiful and delicious birthday dessert for our friend.

Went for Valentine’s Day last year & recently. I enjoy there food & most of all there drinks. Great service & fresh. I’m posting from Valentine’s Day because I loved the spread they had for the bread that was made into a heart shape form and was delicious.

Everything was delicious. We ordered appetizers: tuna and octopus. Tuna was presented in a cigar box filled with smoke. Octopus was paired with sausages, potatoes and chimichurri sauce. Also we shared seafood rice. Portion was huge. Taste reminded paella and nights in Spain. Every bite felt like a party in your mouth. Service was exceptional. Shutout to David and Said. These guys are the best at what they do.

Friendly staff, slow service. Delicious food. I had the Seafood Rice, similar to a Paeja, cooked to perfection with plenty of octopus, mussel, shrimp and a generous lobster tail. For desert I had the Peach Key lime pie.

Had dinner here while on a business trip for SeaTrade Global. I am a destination travel publisher. The seafood rice dish (paella) was divine and the choice of bubbly by the glass only added to the experience. My server Tatiana was exceptional …. Just the right amount of attentiveness without being cloying or intrusive I will return here every time I am in South Beach!!!.

I would rate my lunch experience a 3.8 It was nice and causal but upscale. I met an old friend for a business lunch at the new Fuego Y Mar restaurant at the Ritz hotel on Miami Beach. Great atmosphere, beautiful outdoor pool area. The service was good and the food was enjoyable as well. I don’t want to rate the venue to unfairly because I was there for working meeting not a social dining. I will be back for dinner to give the menu a more through engagement.

Believe it! If you like what you see, go for it. I lived in this hotel -Ritz Carlton- during the Pandemic in 2020 and also few hotels in that area as well. Great hotel by the Beach. Also The Lowes or the Setai. The very best in the area. Very pleasant atmosphere. Food was very simple. I ate there a few times. I never took a pic.I guess I though, appetizers some great Steak, portions are generous felt like home. Very tasteful .I love the drinks there. Ritz Carlton Miami Beach. Restaurant Upstairs Fuego and Mar? It is pretty nice. Breeze on hot summer days.Great drinks.Food wasn't bad . I ate very little as usual. It was tasty. Every think I have tried except for the chicken wings. They weren't so delicious.Sorry.. I have particular hidden secrets of love to pick on apetizers. Makes me feel.less guilty. Then have full meal. Nevertheless there is a sexy cute bar in the lobby. I ate upstairs a few times. they have a wet bar below. Right on the beach. Swiming pool is heated- salt water. This location became my home later. I moved to a condominium across the street. Sweet. I stayed in this area for a long period of time. There are many atract and interesting people on the streets. Very popular location. So many tourists. Gosh. I had no idea this restaurant was Fuego e Mar. Lol. Music plays loud all week long. There are many tourists around. Lots of people! Very good security. A police car is parked there all the time. Very safe to stay.very little crime. But lots of loco and dangerous people around the beach at night time. Stay at the hotel. You have to be very careful. I like this location, If you drink, you will easily spend $50-$100 or more per person.Full dinner for two possibility $100 per person. I remembered this place. I stopped by for drinks and appetizers several times.Right after a sanding brach, sometimes dinner. I swam there and I wasn't staying at the hotel because I was there so often. And I lived across street. So my hangouts was at lower bar at this hotel. Very nice place to visit. And eat at Fuego and Mar.

While waiting for our room to be ready at Ritz Carlton, we had a light lunch and drinks at Fuego Y Mar. We liked their guacamole and beetroot salad but the pizza was terrible. The view was good.

The service was great. But the brunch, for $95, is very over priced. The Setai, nearby, has a Sunday brunch that is on par price wise but the food is so much better (quality and selections). It was nice to sit outside and the cocktails were okay, but the food for brunch is not a good value.

Very disappointed. Not the 5 star hotel experience I hoped for. My dinner entree had pork in it and it wasn’t mentioned on the menu. The worst is both the waitress and the manager did not know there was pork in the dish. The response from the manager was: sorry, we just changed our menus recently. Good that you are not allergic. Whether its an allergy or a religious restriction, putting pork in an entree without mentioning it, is unacceptable. PLEASE GET YOUR MENUS REVISED ASAP. I do not want someone to mistakenly eat pork.

Came with high expectations on Christmas Eve. The place was mostly empty however service was absolutely terrible. Two out of 4 prefix courses didn’t arrive and the quality of food wasn’t good. Of course they tried to charge 18% tip on top of a terrible Experience. Beware!
