Great authentic Spanish food. The patio is great

An excellent place to come have coffee or a drink. I didn't eat but since I love food from Spain I plan on coming back. The area is really cool too, right by the marina.

Order the Tosta de Ibérico and a Brockmans Ginn and Tonic and enjoy a great tapa. Hopefully Nerina is your waitress.

The whole experience at Barceloneta went very well; starting from the beginning to the end, Soraya, our server, gave us an amazing service, always checking on us and recommending her favorite picks, my husband had a shrimp allergy and we didn’t notify her on time, when we told her about it she managed the situation with professionalism and took the allergy very seriously, we will definitely be back soon, ask for Soraya, she will drive your experience towards an unforgettable time.

Calm, chill welcoming atmosphere on the "other"side of south beach. Authentic Spanish cuisine offering tapas, entrees and desserts. Don't forget about their "spicy" Gin & Tonics!

Honestly best Tapas in Miami Beach. The BERENJENAS CON MIEL (Eggplant Spread) is the main reason we come here. We usually just order one of these each. It’s an incredible flavor and texture that is simply not describable.. you must experience it for yourself ;)

Came here for some drinks since my brother lives across the streets .what a cool restaurant very cozy, and the bar is just awesome to hang out on. I will definitely come back and try their food. They have a cool outdoor area that's actually Lower the the streets, so it komd of feels like a hidden outdoor area it does remind me a bit of the underground New york resuarhats. Sorry, I didn't have the chance to take more pics and videos. The cocktails kicked in 😆 and I lost track. 😆

Great place for Spanish food, everything ive tried is great , octopus, tortilla, patatas bravas, and my top picks mushroom croquettes and black rice . It has a great ambience indoor and outdoor. Service is usually great, have had a couple of not so great …but nothing else

Food was excellent! Went with a group of friends and we shared multiple tapas including the tabla de jamón y queso, bruschetta with tomatoes, croquettes were so delicious, the Spanish omelette, octopus, patatas bravas (a must) and the churrasco. For dessert the raspberry one. Everything was delicious and service was quick. I will say the sangria left a lot to be desired but the food more than made up for it. Would 10/10 go back

Cruisin' around South Beach on The Trolley and saw this place and decided to give it a try. Absolutely wonderful! Great food, with some very traditional & yummy Spanish favorites, terrific service, a very cool vibe to the restaurant and a great patio that I would love to dine on when it isn't raining.

This was soooo good. Wow. The tomato bruschetta was light & tasty. The potato salad wasn't wild but worked great w the bruschetta. The potato (tapas vibe) was AMAZING. And the chicken paella was EPIC. You need to order that paella. Even my fiancée thought it was good. I swear.

Great Tapas, very original delicacies with really delicious Spanish products... Very nice welcome, and Alex/Alejandro a Globe trotter speaking french like me (and you ?) On the negative side, the Sangria was too watery for the price ($42 the pitcher, plus tax and tip!), the good news being that it wasn't too sweet, obviously. And the chocolate pudding wasn't worth it either ($12++), but it's my fault, I was expecting some chocolate "moelleux" with a melting heart, or at least a "génoise", not a "pain perdu". Five stars anyway because of all the delicious Tapas and friendly service *****😊

Great place for tapas! Loved that they have Alhambra reserve beer. The service was attentive and pretty quick. The artichokes and the tomato bruschetta where great as well as the ham served with both. The tortilla was ok, a bit underseasoned and overcooked for my taste but not awful. It would be great if they served it runnier. The crema catalana was great as well.

It has been years since I’ve been to Barcelona or Spain, per se. This place took me to the land of Cataluña with every taste and bite. Even the decor and portraits scream OLÈ! Delicious plates and friendly staff. Thank you!

I went in and I must tell you how amazing and exquisite Barceloneta is. People are adorable, fresh food, tasty and awesome. I recommend it so much! You can’t miss it, Spanish food ❤️ It’s from now on another must-go next time. And drinks are stunning! And 5 stars to everyone working here, adorable people.

What an amazing restaurant. We were driving by and thought let's try this place. Boy was that a great decision. We happen to drop in during happy hour which made it even better. We sat at the bar and order a round of cocktails, their version of a Moscow Mule and a sangria. The mule was simply delicious. I'm sure by the time we were done, we had probably ordered 5 or 6. The food is served tapas style but definitely plenty for a couple to share. We ordered the Calamares A La Romana which was two small squid ink sandwiches, the Pimentos de Padron which are simple but tasty Sashito Peppers, the Patatas Bravas which were a bit spicy but super good and last but not least the Brussel Sprouts(amazing). We really enjoyed our time at this fun restaurant and loved the food and drinks. This goes on our, "When in Miami" list. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

Had dinner on Barceloneta’s patio tonight and had a truly amazing meal. The patatas bravas, octopus, and crudo were highlights of our meal but honestly everything was exquisite. A must for any fans of Spanish cuisine.

Barceloneta is hands down my favorite restaurant in Miami. I have been a regular for over five years and I still cannot get enough of it. Everything about this place is exceptional. The food, the music, the service, the carefully curated selection of wines and beers, and the overall vibe. It is comfortable, inviting, and consistently delivers a top notch experience. Whether you are a local or just visiting, I cannot recommend it enough.

As always, we ate at Barcelonesa. The food is outstanding—flavorful, well prepared, and representative of some of the regions of Spain. This is not a restaurant for the typical American palate. The tapas and portions are true to the Spanish style, with no compromises. The service is excellent: warm, attentive, and always accommodating. They have, without exaggeration, the best Old Fashioned in Miami—well structured and faithful to the original recipe. The menu is limited but perfectly curated for good palates. It is pricey, but absolutely worth it if you want to eat well, enjoy bold flavors, and feel like you’re in Barcelona.

We went to the Happy Hour. We LOVED the lamb skewers...deeeeelicious. We ate outside and the atmosphere and vibe was nice. It's right across from the local free trolley. No Uber needed 👍🏾

I came in around 1 PM to have a meeting and some lunch with two coworkers. iñaki was our server and despite being on his own, the service was fast, friendly, and very professional. The food was great and the overall experience was excellent. Definitely coming back!

Si eres español y añoras la comida de España este es tu sitio. Obviamente va a costar más que en España pero la calidad es muy similar a lo que tenemos allí. Encima tiene cervezas de España: Estrella Galicia, Alhambra, etc. Muy recomendado.

Excelente atención y servicio de iñaki Fuimos a comer y desde el primer momento el trato del camarero fue impecable, amable y muy atento. Conocía muy bien el menú y nos recomendó varios platos típicos que fueron espectaculares, especialmente las alcachofas y las gambas al ajillo. Además, estuvo pendiente de cada detalle sin ser invasivo, algo que se valora muchísimo.

Neri nos dio la bienvenida y enseguida nos invito a merodear por la gastronomía española del menú. Su explicación fue tan detallada que podía saborear cada plato antes de tenerlo en la mesa, pero sin duda, la presentación y sazón superaron la expectativa en mi paladar. Las gambas al ajillo, el pulpo a la brasa y el arroz de campo fueron la selección perfecta. Y para cerrar con broche de oro: EL POSTRE 🥰 es mejor que ustedes vivan la experiencia. Sin duda volveremos para brindar con sangría y seguir degustando nuevos platos! Gracias 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

Stopped by with a friend for a quick bite in the evening. The place was pretty full. Food was okay, nothing special but not bad. Service wasn’t very attentive, and there was a bit of a language barrier. Overall, it was just an average experience.

Went to Barceloneta for happy hour (ends at 7pm) / dinner. Facundo, our waiter was super kind and sat us down immediately at the table of our choice. I suggest you sit outside on the couch tables if the weather is nice. He was quick to take my order after explaining some dishes on the happy hour menu before the 7pm cut-off. Drinks and food arrived momentarily. Overall the food was good, although we only ended up ordering from the happy hour menu. The chef was kind enough to adjust the rice option to be vegetarian. My favorite was the bite-size tortilla española and the sangria🍷

I pass by this restaurant all the time. Never looked at the menu because it’s a Spanish restaurant and usually a pork heavy menu. But I decided to take a look. Got there 5 minutes before happy hour ended. I asked the server if I could still order some happy hour items. He was like no problem at all!! Drinks off the chart amazing. Well made and generous. We ordered a few small plates. Everything was fresh delicious and tasty. The kale salad with goat cheese and walnuts just perfect. The Branzino fillet superb. I wasn’t sure which dessert to order. The server said if you don’t like it, don’t worry about it it’ll take it. We could exchange it. Great outdoor patio area. No rush, chill atmosphere, definitely will go back!

I passed by for a quick bite because the place was empty at noon on a Sunday. I chose a tortilla de setas y espinaca (omelet) and was very very pleased with it. The mushrooms were my favorite part of the dish! I tried the pan con tomate to start and while I really like tomatoes, the dish was a bit underwhelming. The tomatoes didnt have much flavor. Overall, I'm willing to go back and give the place another shot.

This place is delicious! Don’t read reviewed about bad service, clearly those people don’t understand tapas. I give 4 out of 5 stars. Highly Recommend: artichokes with jamon iberico! Also great— Peppers, Bravas and squid. Almost everything was delicious!! I was not impressed with octopus. the sangria was too sweet, but this a gin place, so probably should have got a different drink.

Restaurant serving a variety of classic Spanish dishes and tapas, the quality of the food is great and some of the plates taste close enough to what they would in Spain, but some others taste a bit different to the original but still good, service was very friendly and the food arrived fast, sitting at the table outside in the terrace area was nice, prices can be a bit on the higher side for what you get, but I would say it's worth a try since it's one of the best options for Spanish food in the area.

Cardamomo cocktail was a must have, sangria pitcher not so much. Excellent comfortable outdoor seating. Exellent service. Pan con tomate was not as good as last time. Anchovie is a must have always. Mushroom croquettes good. Squid ink rice was perfect for 2 people. Other rice dishes good as well. Catalan creme was ok. Hazelnut bread pudding taste was very good but bread texture was unexpectedly chewy.

Came here for Friday night and had a fantastic meal. The restaurant is set-up in a corner spot with plenty of shaded seating along the outside, while the inside is bright and airy. As someone who isn't a big fan of seafood, I could still appreciate how perfectly the chefs cooked the langoustine and its natural flavor. I'd also definitely recommend the tortillas de patatas and roasted beets. Drinks-wise, I really liked that the sangria wasn't sugary and that you could actually taste the wine; the mimosa came with fresh orange juice (pulp and all) but I'd stick to the sangria. Again, our waitress was really flexible and let us have a cappuccino each as our third drinks. Overall, food, service, and ambiance all hit the marks! Would highly recommend. P.S. There's metered parking (and a really sleek-looking Publix!) right outside the restaurant.

We ordered croquettes, mussels, chorizo, oxtail dumplings, house wine and chocolate bread pudding for dessert. The mussels were are least favorite. They had a breaded filling that overpowered the rest. The bread pudding was so hot it melted the ice cream right away. Rest of the food was good, sauces were tasty. Parking was easy at 6:30 pm. Service was great overall. They were very attentive, encouraged us to take advantage of happy hour specials and checked in before it ended. Great place to drink and have tapas in a more quiet area of MB.

Great food, but painfully slow service. Had to get the servers attention each time as she would casually sit by the bar socializing with the bartender and/or speaking to the other waiters.

This is a restaurant designed to help fools part with their money. All you SHOULD need to know about this place is that a modestly sized, overly salted dish of patatas braves costs $19. That's right, $19. Better versions of the same dish can be had for much less at numerous restaurants. But beyond that, virtually all of the food we tried on two visits to Barceloneta was way too salty. On one visit, the tortilla española was runny and slimy, and the bread served with another dish was slightly stale. Why do people accept this, let alone heap 5-star ratings on a place that is clearly aimed at diners who want to show off how little they care about money, rather than simply enjoying decent Spanish food?

I don't recommend this restaurant, it's a robbery!. There were 4 of us at brunch, we ordered 2 juices and 2 tinto de verano, and to our surprise, it was more ice than drink! My husband asked to speak to the manager and he said that this was how they did it for 14 years, that is, they have been stealing from customers for 14 years. The manager realized that we were angry and when we had finished eating, he sent us another 2 juices with little ice and 2 tintos de verano for the house. We were already so angry that we didn't touch it, then the bill came with surprises because we ordered broken eggs but we asked to change from chorizo to ham, but never told us that the price changed dramatically, from $15.00 to $24.00

They requested a minimum of 18% tip after already charging a 20% service fee. That should be straight up illegal. I will never recommend this place to anyone. Sub par all around. Very disappointed.

Not sure if we just caught this place on a bad night, but we were really disappointed. One of the dishes was super salty—we mentioned it to the server, who was nice, but nothing was done about it. The other two dishes weren’t great either. We actually ordered them based on the server’s recommendations, which made it even more disappointing. Honestly, we don’t plan on coming back or recommending it to anyone.
