Visiting from out of town and had a great time. It was a free Sunday night party and the DJ played everything, very versatile. The drinks were good and service was pretty fast. It’s a large place so had a lot of room to move around. It was pouring out so it wasn’t packed, but I thoroughly enjoyed myself and would come back. The staff was pretty cool too.

Blackbird is always one of my favorite places to go. Not just on the weekends, but ladies' night on a Tuesday is a vibe. They also did a little renovation recently this year in the back part of the club by making more VIP booths, which I love to get when it's a special occasion or when I'm just feeling boujie lol. The music selection usually never disappoints, and the drinks are always made with extra love. I like the front room that has some booths, a good sized bar area, a DJ and colorful dance floor, but my favorite is the larger back room. It has a glass ceiling, VIP tables, bar and another DJ booth playing different music. I always have the best time dancing my a$$ off with my people. This is a must stop spot when visiting or when you locals need a great spot with a variety of music.

Finally a not overly pretentious bar in the heart of brickle AND it's affordable 🤭 who would've thought? Black bird is Great for happy hours, weekend dancing ( they have a club on the backside open weekends only) and just overall board game hangs. New Orleans vibes in Miami. Which we very much needed . We miss Nola.

Our favourite bar of our short stay in Miami, The Blackbird Ordinary was a great spot for a beverage or two. We heard that it is busy later in the evenings and often has live bands performing in their enclosed atrium off the bar. Next time I am in Miami I will be back to have another Blackbird cocktail.

I visited Blackbird Ordinary on a Thursday night. It was a pleasant experience. The security will pat you down for the safety of everybody. Once you get in, it’s pretty dark but the music is fantastic. We were promptly taken care of by the bartender which was great. It’s not a ripoff at all, around $12 for a Jack n Cola. You can’t beat it in Miami. Awesome place, I’ll be back!

Great place to get some good cocktails and has good music. There is also a bigger back bar area that only opens later in the night and the music is different both inside and out. The booths in the inside bar don’t require reservation or anything and are first come first serve - no minimum spend either which is great because you can just chill and hangout.

I didn’t get food! However, the vibes are immaculate and the drinks are really tasty.

Best bar/club in Brickell , been coming religiously for a while now. The scene is amazing,it has two sections , in the front its like a night bar where the Bartender are amazing, my boy Tony knows exactly what I like to order and bring it up before me even saying Anything. And the back is more of an open space club with good light and music. Definitely one of the best clubs in Miami and surrounding area.

I always have a great time whenever I come to blackbird! Last night Kavon and Rashad were very helpful in assisting me when I need help with my cousin who was feeling very unwell and needed to leave immediately. All the security guards were great with helping me and I’m very grateful for that. The manager working was also very helpful getting us water and making sure we got home safely! Whenever I’m in the area we will definitely be back!

Great vibe for a late Friday night. High energy. Two separate areas with different music. Good DJs. The second is much bigger. It wasn’t obvious other than seeing people walking through a passage and not returning.

Era happy hour y por 4 moscow mule nos cobraron $32 y sorprendentemente estaban muy ricos. Después de cenar volvimos, el ambiente no estaba mal, tienen un patio muy agradable en el que se puede fumar y la música es R&B, que para nuestro gusto no era lo ideal por eso nos fuimos en seguida. I went here with friends on Saturday night and it was a cool vibe. I got the signature drink (The Blackbird) and it was very refreshing. We also had green tea shots that were made to perfection. The music was cool and something to vibe to but I just know that once in there gets full it’ll be VERY hard to get served and they also have happy hour on Tuesday’s from 10pm to 1am.

We stumbled upon Blackbird Ordinary because hubby was looking for a comedy show to check out after dinner. We found the comedy show on EventBrite and ended up here at Blackbird Ordinary. It's located in the heart of Brickell close to Brickell City Centre and next to Talkin' Tacos. I've passed it many times and never been before. Our comedy show was at 9pm so we got there early and you enter a bar area with a small dance floor and DJ booth. The door guy told us to wait next to the doors by DJ booth. They opened the doors a little after 9pm and let us in. There's this whole other room in the back with tons of seating, a stage and bar area. Some of the decor felt a bit outdated, but it was still a cool vibe nonetheless. The space is so big and has so much potential for improvement, We snagged seating in the middle area. There were several cozy couples seating in front of the stage but 2nd row, we didn't want to get picked on the entire night. Lol. The two main hosts of the comedy show looked like they worked at Blackbird Ordinary as they had staff jackets on. They were in our opinion, the FUNNIEST!!! Everyone also got free shots with their tickets. Nice bonus! Lemondrop shots!!! Whew, it's been a hot minute since I did shots. Ha. After they started the show, they introduced several local or out of towner comedians and honestly, it was a good diverse crew of comedians. I wish we got a list of the comedians as I would like to check out their social media pages or follow them. Overall, we had such a good time and laughed so hard our faces hurt. This comedy show was like a hidden gem. Glad we found them and would love to come back and check out other comedians.

Such a fun spot in Brickell. Great drinks, awesome DJs, and two rooms to bounce between. It definitely gets packed, but the second room gives you space to breathe. Always a good crowd and solid energy—easy place to lose track of time.

This bar/lounge is a "hole in the wall". I had a good time. The atmosphere is too dark though. The 4 stars is for the fact they charge a service charge along with the price of the drinks. The bar tinder was actually pretty nice, though.

First I was scared cause I never been to a club, but when I went inside it was a different story. I felt comfortable, someone attend to us immediately, everyone was minding there own business, I enjoy every bit of my time , being from another country an trying to adapt it here. This venue had two distinct areas. The first is a more lounge/bar vibe and had some great throwback music. The other attached space was definitely geared more towards the dancing crowd. Either way, the place was very good, I just wish it had more people.

I took my brother to this club for his birthday and we had a blast. They play hip hop, reggaeton, and popular radio hits. The dress code is come as you are so sandals and whatever is allowed. It was on a Saturday and it was free to get in for women and men. Highly recommend this place if you like clubs with a chill vibe.

Went on a Thursday evening. It was pretty empty which was understandable as it was a weekday. And I went just before 8pm. So I was eligible for their happy hour special which is BOGO free on beer. And they have some sort of special every day of the week. They also have a pool table and they play some pretty nice music as well. Good place with nice music. But in Brickell, there are tons of places nearby as well. You are spoilt for choice for sure.

Great spot for a drink in Miami. It's a lower key place with a laid back atmosphere - not a dive but you don't have to dress to the 9s. They have some creative cocktails and a solid beer list. The back room is a giant dance hall with a huge stage, and next to it they have a pizza station. Each drink you buy gets you a ticket for a free pizza. Dive-y dance club? I can see its uses I suppose, but it was weirdly clique-ish where it’d be preferable to have a crowd interested in mingling. The oddest dynamic was everyone trying to decide between the front and back spaces. The front was pleasantly dim but few were dancing. The back had plenty of dancing but was slightly too bright. Most enjoyable aspect was watching a couple of guys swing and miss multiple times. You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take, so honestly way to go fellas.

We have been coming here for years. We spoke so highly of this place until the other night. This past week during ladies night, it was crowded and my boyfriend saw there was someone about to stumble on me. He held his hands out to make sure I didnt get bumped into. It happened to be a bouncer or some sort of manager and he immediately kicked us out, abuse of power and disgusting. He brought out like 5 bouncers to escort us, ridiculous. We are a couple. He was super disrespectful and he honestly will be the reason we never come back here again.

Went here for a friend's birthday, before I went in they warned me this place is known to have pickpockets. Spent pretty much the whole night keeping my belongings in a clutch hold. My phone was stolen anyway, security wasn't able to help much. Do pay the other reviews some mind and be aware of your surroundings here. Or better yet go somewhere without this type of reputation. It was a nice vibe at first, so unfortunate the type of low lifes that hang around here to take advantage of others...

I wish I could have actually went in to experience this place but there was literally no one outside and the security made us go all the way around the rope to go to the door. And then as we were going around he says “by the way, guys no slides” because my boyfriend was wearing slides. It’s a bar? So we couldn’t go into the bar because someone was wearing slides. It must be specific to us because I don’t see any other reviews mention it. Ridiculous.

Went for a bar crawl and was super disappointed in the service. It's my birthday today, and I've been going around Miami with my friends. We've visited over six clubs tonight, and so far, this place has the worst service I've experienced. The security guards here are stricter than those at the most prestigious clubs, and this is just a local bar. It feels like they're just bored and want to mess around with tourists. I ended up paying $30 for a neat whiskey, which is double what I paid at one of the most expensive bars. This place targets tourists and has an overall unprofessional staff.

LADIES NIGHT TERRIBLE!!! 10/14/25- I endured RACISM with one of the bouncers. I’ve got my phone stolen and wallet before!!! its broke dudes waiting to catch you lacking. This been my SPOT since 2021! As a local guide go somewhere else where all ladies are valued,less watered down drinks, and where men don’t just stand there in sections showing off bottles with no females in their sections!!!

Main bouncer has gone rogue and has become disrespectful. I’ve been coming there for 5 years and my boyfriend for the past 10 years. We just was there and arrived with a group of 15 people, we were the only one left out and been asked to make the line multiple times after we have already done it. Racism and discrimination.

We stood in line at Halloween unknowingly with a bouncers girlfriend. When the line moved through stations and we moved accordingly, we got accused of cutting the line by a bouncer who claimed to be with the group in front of us. We tried to get their group back together only to be told by all bouncers that we needed to go to the back of the line. Horrible experience.

DO NOT GO UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE INSULTED!! The atmosphere inside was great. Music was R&B. There was a DJ. Bartenders were really nice. But later I Had a TERRIBLE experience with Security outside, 😤 One of the bouncers, light skinned with Curly hair was very vulgar and verbally abusive, only because I left the venue to pick up my girlfriend and come back. He didn’t want to tap me down multiple times. He threatened to not let me and my girlfriend inside the venue, had an augmented sense of authority and egoism, it almost escalated to a physical brawl. Thankfully a tall black gentleman, other security outside (who spoke some creole) was there to diffuse the situation, and was far more calm and very respectful. I’m NEVER coming back. I’m telling EVERYONE I meet not to go there unless they want to be insulted by the so called “security” outside.

Terrible experience. The bouncers were rude, yelling, and completely disrespectful. Security should keep things safe, not create a hostile environment. Definitely won’t be coming back.

Horrid experience with a security personnel. An unidentified security guard violently yanked me out of my chair and threw me out into the sidewalk. He didn’t self identify when my sister was yelling to let me go since I thought I being kidnapped. This did take place in February 2023. For full transparency this low review is to signal the management on how their personal should still be trained better. In addition, to higher better security personnel. As to what caused the security to yank me out of my chair was simply me putting my head down. I recognize could be proper reason to escort me out. However, I wasn’t even put on notice or advised to cease my activity. I was violently yanked out of my chair. This obviously alarmed me which is why I resisted (again without knowing this was security personnel, he didn’t have uniform nor identity himself). TL;DR This location has traumatized me for outgoing activities. And hope this review can spark change in the establishment.

Went last night around 2am, only place my boyfriend has used his card and woke up to three unknown charges to Pandora and Starbucks. Would not recommend going or using your card here.

They don’t like people in their 30s and they turn you around at the front by telling you “you skipped the line”.. when asked why to the bouncer, he said “because I said so” .. but everyone that’s 24 can get in. Which is funny because 30 year olds have more money to spend than 24 year olds . Funny how this place used to be fun to come out to.

The weed smoking inside was horrible. Drinks were weak, bartender was not happy at all. They put gratuity charge on the bill so maybe he was mad that we didn't tip more, because he ignored us when trying to order again. The "security guy" at the bar literally threw away our drinks when they were still half way filled. When asking where the drinks were, he said they were finished. The DJ played r&b music for 2 hours straight. Bad vibes for weekend party, wasn't even packed!!
