Carrabba's in Miami Lakes is a hidden gem for a quick respite from the hectic week. Happy hour on a Thursday is a game changer and Nico, our server provided top tier service. The food was delectable and the Orchard Sangria was delicious. Stop by and ask for Nico and say hello to Dianne, a welcoming and pleasant manager.

We signed up for the “Whispers From the Cellar” event as a cute date night idea and had a blast with tasting different wines and courses. Nick and Arnell were very attentive and Diana was a great host.

Our Antorini wine dinner was amazing. Michael did a great job at explaining all the wine pairings. We love coming here and will definitely be back.

I’m not mad at this place. It’s my local Carrabba’s. For the past month my wife and i have been sitting by the bar area and served by Leydi (the bartender). Very nice, very professional and thorough. I’m glad i like the food and the service here because i don’t like traveling far for good restaurants. UPDATE! Don’t know where to begin…Carrabba’s is the best restaurant .for years we have been coming here to this location miami lakes ..and we love the food as much as the employees ! Dairon attends us and is always so attentive and helpful … always with a smile .. the bartenders are great .. love my Cosmos .great bartenders like Michael . and when we come in there is Fernando in the entrance and Dayana in the front are great too always greeting us when we come in with smiles .. then there is Lissette and Eddy the manager always helping my wife with her special diet and food with no seasoning … thanks so much ! The bread pudding is awesome so delicious as is everything on the menu ! I would give it 10 ⭐️!!👍

Today I had the pleasure of having Sophia, the cutie pie, as my server. It was my first time at the restaurant and she made the experience great. I wasn’t sure what to order, but she made the process very easy by explaining the different dishes and recommending items based on what I told her I liked. I ended up loving the meal. The food was great and the service was quick. I would definitely come back to this location and ask for her as my server again.

I placed an online order for delivery, unfortunately there was an issue with DoorDash which they use as a third party service, and my order was never picked up after about an hour and a half. I called the restaurant and they couldn’t do much on their part but suggested I contact DoorDash, which was unsuccessful. Pretty frustrating situation BUT the reason for my five star review was because of this locations manager Antonio. I receive a call shortly after from him, letting me know he was informed and looking into this for me. I let him know about a minute before his call, a door dasher was assigned to my order and was on his way. Antonio kindly advised me my order would be remade and offered a complimentary dessert and a credit for the restaurant as well. He was so quick to respond and I could tell he was really apologetic for this whole mess. I do not blame the establishment for this issue at all but I just had to show Antonio some love and appreciation. He is a great manager, the best I’ve seen in a while :)

I came for the bourbon dinner pairing and I had a great experience. You will leave quenched and fed. The servers Valerie and Andrew were very nice, personable, and attentive. Food ok, service ok. Chain Italian restaurant. Went for quick in and out meal that wasn’t fast food at 3:00 in the afternoon. Located right at the Tesla supercharging station that we needed to stop at, which is what brought us to Caraba’s. Sat at the large bar and got good service. Got to watch Olympics on big screen tv-nice. They have a great meal Special going on: if you dine in you can get a meal to go for $10! So we did just that. We realized after we left that we got charged the regular price instead of $10. I called back and the manager adjusted the ticket without me having to argue anything. Refreshing! Kudos for that! Good for groups and kids. Had chicken parm, just ok. Good size portions. Hubby and I split meal. Came with soup or salad, I ate the salad with creamy Parmesan dressing. Was very good! Gravy/tomatoe sauce was meh. Bread was meh. Oil with herbs for bread was good.

My family and I good to this place almost 2-3 times per month. The food has lost the quality, the Alfredo sauce was brought out in what looked like a milk bowl and tasted horrible, my daughter had to order a marina sauce instead and when the server finally brought it out her food was the cold and she was left eating alone since the rest of us had to continue eating because our food was also going to get cold. The service has also deteriorated, we sat by the bar the last time we went and it was like we were forgotten, everything took a long time to get to the table and when we needed something I had to go find a server. Not recommended if you’re looking for the “Carrabas” experience of high service quality and good food they used to offer.

I’ve been a loyal Carrabba’s customer for years and this was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. We were given the wrong order and the waiter (Marisol D.) flat-out told us “that’s what you ordered,” only to later admit it was a mistake and say we could keep it—then came back and took the plate off our table because it belonged to another table. My son then found a long hair in his spaghetti, gagged, and nearly threw up pulling it out of his throat. Absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. The manager offered him ice cream, but the waiter later refused, claiming they were “closed,” even though the manager had already approved it. The meal was eventually comped, which felt like last-minute damage control. I still left a tip, and she dropped my card on the table and walked away without a word. Disrespectful, unsanitary, and poorly handled from start to finish. I will not be returning.

Me and my partner recently went to a cafe bad in Broward and we by far one of the best service and dining experiences we’ve had recently so good in fact we planed the next week to go again, closer to our home this time. After a long day of work we just wanted that same feeling and that feeling was taken away from us quickly. As soon as we arrived, the atmosphere was disorganized. Our server did not get to us until 15 minutes after we sat down. While we were going to order our food once he finally got to us, he kept repeatedly interrupting while we tried to speak our order and accepted our order of combo appetizer when all the items weren’t even available. Out server every 5 minutes kept talking about hose stressed he was and how sorry he was, which we were very understanding of at first, until he started making us feel stressed and took away the joy of our day. He kept forgetting what we ordered asking us the same question every couple of minutes about the order we had just spoken about. Would never come back to this location even tho we love the broward location. This was very disappointing as this is our closest location to home something we were looking forward to the whole week and was ruined and taken away from us the second we walked in the door.

What used to be my go-to spot on the weekends is sadly losing its touch. First the one on flagler and now Miami Lakes. I came in to eat dinner on a Sunday night (10/26). I ordered the Filet Mingon with 2 sides of fettuccine alfredo and a cesar salad. The salad is great, they used to give a bigger portion but reasonable by today’s standards. The filet they gave me had more of a consistency of a meat loaf than a quality filet mingon. I ordered it medium rare and it came medium well. These I was able to overlook, what I could not accept was how small that steak was. Just a year ago I ordered this steak and it was huge it really looked like it was 9 oz. The steak they gave me looked like it was 6 oz. Not sure what changed from last year to now but you can’t skimp long term clients like this. It’s unacceptable to give such bad quality on one of your most expensive menu items. You are going to lose clients like this. I also miss when the sides of pasta was a plate of pasta, not a small petri dish of pasta. Shrinkflation at its finest. Cost goes up while portions and quality go down. If you want to keep clients and raise prices, at least raise the quality. I’m very disappointed with my last visit, and I’ll probably give this franchise one more chance before I decide to never return. This happened months ago with the Flagler location and I attribute it to the change of management there. I’m not sure what’s going on with Miami Lakes or if I just went on a bad day. I really hope it’s the second one. I was not going to leave this review but after thinking about it I don’t want to see Carrabba’s leave Miami like Romano’s Macaroni Grill did. I hope they see this feedback along with others and start working on it. If not, and this continues, I see Carrabba’s suffering the same fate Macaroni Grill did. Please improve - regular client for 15 years.
