COTE MIAMI Miami Reviews
COTE Miami truly impressed us. My boyfriend and I loved the elegant and upscale vibe of the restaurant, and the service was outstanding from start to finish. The food is unique — a true explosion of flavors and combinations I had never experienced before. If you’re looking to enjoy something different, this is definitely the place. The meat cuts were delicious and clearly premium quality, and the drinks were excellent as well. The staff was always attentive, and the sorbet at the end was the perfect finishing touch.
We have been here about 2 times now and every time I’m very satisfied. Only issue I had both times was the meat temperature being inconsistent. That aside, the place is absolutely beautiful and for a Michelin star restaurant it’s fairly “affordable” and excellent for a “treating yourself to something nice” type of night or date. The butchers feast features plenty of sides with bold Korean flavors and premium cuts of meat, to finish it all off you have the ice cream with caramel soy sauce which was our favorite item of the menu aside of the meat.
What stands out most about COTE Korean Steakhouse is the experience. Incredible service, amazing food, and great vibes all around. I love AYCE Korean BBQ, but having everything cooked perfectly for you hits differently. No leaving smelling like smoke 😂—just enjoying every bite. Definitely somewhere I’d come back to. Drinks: Lychee Martini — one was plenty for my lightweight self, but so good. Food: We did the tasting menu (Butcher's feast) (highly recommend) with the A5 add-on. The Sendai Wagyu was melt-in-your-mouth perfection. Highlights: ** Oysters with uni to start — creamy and rich Korean “bacon” (smoked pork belly, pickled jalapeño, Korean mustard) — fatty goodness; I could’ve eaten just this Unlimited sides, all delicious (because yes, that matters) Egg soufflé — perfectly fluffy Tofu soup — easily could’ve had five bowls Vanilla soft serve with soy sauce caramel — unexpected and amazing Bonus! they accommodated for my gluten free friend. Come hungry, leave happy. Definitely a must-try.
COTE Miami completely exceeded every expectation. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was stunning, luxurious yet intimate, with an energy that instantly makes you feel like you’re in for something special. The service was truly impeccable. Every single staff member was so accommodating, friendly, and attentive, and you could tell they all worked together seamlessly to create an exceptional experience. A huge shoutout to Gabriel, our server, who went above and beyond to make our night unforgettable. He was knowledgeable, attentive without being overbearing, and genuinely cared about making sure we had the best experience possible. The manager was also absolutely awesome and really elevated our evening with such a personal, welcoming touch. We started with the steak and eggs, which was out of this world - perfectly prepared, incredibly flavorful, and literally melted in your mouth. We then moved on to the Butcher’s Feast, which was a full culinary journey through some of the most incredible cuts of meat we’ve ever had. Each one was better than the last. We also ordered the Kimchi Wagyu Paella, which was rich, flavorful, and the perfect complement to the meal. COTE is more than just dinner, it’s an experience. From the food to the service to the atmosphere, everything was top-tier. We can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend!
COTE Miami is an absolute powerhouse. From the moment you walk in, the decor strikes the perfect balance between high-end sophistication and a dark, moody energy. The lighting is cinematic, and the central bar where we started our night with cocktails is the perfect spot to soak in the incredible vibe before heading to the table. The concept is genius: a seamless blend of a classic American steakhouse and a traditional Korean BBQ. We opted for the Butcher's Feast ($78 per person), and it is arguably the best value for such a high caliber experience. You get four selected cuts of USDA Prime beef, prepared right at your table, accompanied by a parade of traditional Korean sides (banchan), stews, and savory egg soufflé. The meat quality is top tier, but the experience of watching the precision of the tabletop grilling is what sets it apart. The service is A1 attentive, knowledgeable, and perfectly timed. COTE isn't just a dinner; it’s an event. If you want world class food in an environment that feels electric, this is it. 10/10.
From the moment you step into COTE Miami, it’s clear this isn’t your typical steakhouse — it’s a destination. Located in the heart of Miami’s vibrant Design District, COTE brings the high-end flair of Korean barbecue together with the refinement of an American steakhouse in a sleek, modern setting. The experience centers around premium cuts of dry-aged beef, including USDA Prime and Wagyu, cooked tableside on smokeless tabletop grills — a theatrical touch that makes every meal feel interactive and memorable. The Butcher’s Feast is a must-try: an impressive selection of cuts paired with beautifully prepared Korean side dishes. COTE’s wine list has won accolades for its depth and presentation, and the cocktail program is equally inventive, rounding out a meal that feels both fun and sophisticated. While it’s definitely on the pricier side — and reservations are strongly recommended — the combination of top-tier ingredients, polished service, and stylish ambiance makes it one of Miami’s most talked-about fine dining experiences. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just want a standout meal in the city, COTE delivers a unique culinary adventure that lingers long after dessert.
The finest eating establishment there is in Miami. Definitely worthy of the Michelin star. The atmosphere and service were a 10/10, actually it exceeds the scale. I couldn’t believe how exceptional the service was. We tried “Butcher’s Feast”. The food was a 10/10, exceeding the scale once again. The steaks were perfectly cooked medium rare as they should be. The A5 Wagyu was the star of the show. It was perfect. The only critique I have is the cabbage kimchi was a little bit too salty, and made the kimchi stew salty as well. However, we still ate it all and enjoyed everything. For those with shellfish allergies, be very careful as most of the side dishes have shrimp in them, also the steaks are seasoned with a dehydrated shrimp salt. If you have serious shellfish allergies yet you still want to dine, please let them know prior to your reservation. Would highly recommend and we will be back to try everything else.
Michelin restaurant at it's finest . I recently had the pleasure of dining at Cote for a birthday celebration, and the experience was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere . We were absolutely blown away by the quality and variety of the meat. The perfectly seasoned dry-aged ribeye was unreal . The meat was cooked by our server right at our table. We didn't have to lift a finger, allowing us to just sit back, socialize, and savor every bite. The kimchi, and pickled vegetables, were all delicious and replenished without us having to ask. The spicy ssamjang, elevated the natural flavors of the meat beautifully. The service was impeccable. Our server, Nestor, was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and ensured our drinks were always full and our grill top was changed to ensure the best flavor. The entire staff worked as a team, making us feel like VIPs throughout the evening. We ended the meal with their unique soy sauce caramel soft-serve ice cream, which was an unexpected and delightful twist. If you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience, Cote is a must-visit. I have to be Honest, It's pricey, but completely worth the experience and the quality of food. I can't wait to go back!
As Korean BBQ fans from NY, we already knew and loved the Cote brand, but the Miami location holds a uniquely cherished place in our hearts. Four years ago, my now-fiancée and I celebrated the start of our relationship here on our very first vacation as a couple. Our experience was made truly wonderful by the engaging Daniel, who took exceptional care of us. This past weekend, we returned to Miami to celebrate our engagement, and of course, we absolutely had to come back to Cote. The magic was truly complete when we recognized Daniel, as friendly and engaging as ever! He recognized us, too, and we had a remarkable conversation, making the entire experience a beautiful full-circle moment. Daniel treated us to the best service; he surprised us with champagne to start our celebration and, to top it all off, brought out the traditional Korean noodles (janchiguksu) on the house. This dish, meant to celebrate longevity and a good life together, was the most thoughtful and moving touch. Thank you, Cote Miami, and especially Daniel, for making an already treasured engagement weekend even more memorable. We can’t wait to be back to celebrate even greater life milestones with you!
I visited COTE Miami with my best friends during our girls’ weekend as a special treat, and it was also our very first Michelin-star restaurant experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted so warmly and made to feel genuinely welcomed by the staff. The service throughout the evening was exceptional: attentive, knowledgeable, and perfectly timed without ever feeling rushed. And the food - absolutely unforgettable. Every dish exceeded our expectations and truly blew us away. This was such a memorable experience, and we’ll be raving about it for a long time to come. As a New Yorker, I already can’t wait to visit the New York location when I get the chance!
COTE Miami is excellent, Korean BBQ elevated to the next level. The service is outstanding, the food is delicious, and the overall experience is genuinely enjoyable. I had the Butcher’s Feast and the “steak and eggs” (steak tartare with caviar), both of which were amazing. Looking forward to coming back and trying more cuts. Thank you to Bram, Daniel, and the COTE team for a great evening.
I had an amazing experience at COTE! The service is impeccable, the food delicious, and although I don’t drink I did have a mocktail that was very refreshing. The bartender Jen and our server Hector were very pleasant and accommodating. Definitely try their wedge salad, Wagyu Paella, and Butchers Feast.
As northeast visitors staying in design district, Cote came highly recommended. However, it was booked for dinner, so my wife and I decided to go for their golden hour (happy hour). We got there, and were surprised by the stand only bar, but it wasn't a problem. Jen greeted us warmly at the bar and gave us some time to order. After we ordered, she took her time to have more than one conversation with us about where we are from, how our visit was going, things we were doing, and more. She was extremely welcoming and we enjoyed speaking with her. Then Nick, the bar manager, came over and also took his time to have a conversation with us and talk about the food scene in other cities that we were both familiar with. He treated us like family and was an awesome person to talk to about the menu and what the restaurant had to offer. I highly recommend the Mynt at golden hour and all of the happy hour food. 10/10, highly recommend Cote Miami
We celebrated New Year’s Eve at COTE Miami and had an incredible experience. Every dish was absolutely delicious, the atmosphere was amazing, and the hospitality truly stood out. You could feel how genuine and attentive the staff was, which made the night feel extra special. A perfect way to ring in the New Year — we’ll definitely be back.
The level of attention is outstanding. The food is served and presented immaculate. The A5 steak was amazing and melted like butter. Would highly recommend. So good will be coming back soon.
We celebrated my friend’s 30th birthday in the private Gold Room at Cote Miami, and the entire experience was flawless. Aidy, our main hostess, and Barkin, our server, went above and beyond to make our group of nine feel comfortable, cared for, and effortlessly hosted. The pacing of the meal was perfect—everything flowed smoothly, the energy stayed lively, and they kept the night fun without ever rushing us. From start to finish, every dish, every moment, and every detail was spectacular. Aidy and Barkin made the evening truly unforgettable. Highly recommend booking the Gold Room for any special occasion. If you want a flawlessly executed, chic celebration, this is the place!!
Amazing experience from start to finish! The food was absolutely delicious and the customer service was top-tier. Huge thank you to Michael from the reservations department for moving our reservation to an earlier time so we could celebrate my friend’s birthday before they left for Canada the next day—it truly meant a lot to us. Shoutout to our incredible servers Oscar, Mateos, Geraldo, Marcus, Julio, and Omer for taking such great care of us. Everyone was attentive, friendly, and made the night extra special. Can’t wait to come back!
The dining experience was exceptional, truly one of the finest I have encountered. The Butcher's Feast provided an excellent opportunity to sample a variety of expertly prepared meat cuts, complemented by thoughtfully selected side dishes. The steak was outstanding, and the Japanese A5 Wagyu, in particular, was remarkably met in your mouth tender. The meal concluded with a delightful homemade ice cream, a perfect finish. Beyond the remarkable cuisine, the service was exemplary. I wholeheartedly endorse Cote Miami.
Had an amazing dining experience tonight! The service and fresh selections of meat and fish perfectly prepared and esthetically beautifully plated added to this dining experience. The staff were so attentive to our meal and experience with genuine conversations and well wishes to add to our experience. Highly recommend the restaurant to everyone for an out of this world experience! Thank you!
One of our favorite Korean restaurants in Miami, the manager was personable very in-tuned to Korean cuisines, did not stop at that! I asked our server who cooked for us about the ins and outs of the steaks and Korean cuisines and he answered me with full conviction. Even the server in the restaurant has immense knowledge about the cuisines that to me he’s like a chef. Definitely must go to spot even if you are familiar to Korean foods, not the same but still as good
Very good restaurant overall. The design is unique and impressive. Inside, it looks nothing like a regular hibachi place or a typical Korean restaurant. It feels much more upscale and modern, which fits perfectly with the fancy area it is located in. The food was great. They offer a very good variety of meats and everything we tried tasted fresh and high quality. The waiters cook the meat for you and they really know what they are doing. Let them handle it and you will enjoy it even more. The steaks and other cuts were excellent. The prices are fair for what you get. You are eating in a beautiful restaurant in a premium area with great service and high-quality meat, so it is worth what you pay. We were two adults and two kids and paid about four hundred fifty dollars including starters, main dishes and desserts. Everything was very good. Definitely a place I will come back to and enjoy again.
Is a Michelin star worth it? This is my first visit to a Michelin star restaurant, and one of the most expensive meals I’ve ever had. Would I do it again? Without hesitation. Should you do it? What I can tell you is that this was one of the best dining experiences of my life. The food was ridiculously good but it was more than this, it was the experience. Every single person on the team was competent, knowledgeable, and friendly. My wife and I hadn’t had a chance to have an actual date in years (children) and this was really special for us. We didn’t order the most expensive meats, but it was all great. The American wagyu was arguably one of the best steaks I’d ever had and I consider myself a steak snob. It was also remarkably non pretentious so it was a good time! If you visit, pay attention to the lapel pins of the staff and ask them what the different colors mean for a look at their culture. The architectural component is very nice and not overdone (look at the hallways on the way to the bathroom). We had a weekend of amazing culinary experiences and I now have a place I cannot wait to revisit. One thing I want to especially mention is that I told them I had an allergy to certain types of fish, and they really made a point of ensuring that this was cared for and because one of the main parts of the meal had the sauce prepared with fish (that everyone else wanted) they brought me an alternative at no extra cost (it was a$50+ item on the menu) and just the level of care was extraordinary. Thanks to everyone there for a wonderful meal and an unforgettable experience. Without a doubt the next time my wife and I are in Miami for a special occasion we will be back!
If you're on the hunt for the ultimate Korean BBQ experience, look no further than Cote! This place is a true gem that stands out from all the other so-called Korean BBQ spots. From the moment you step in, you’ll be treated to top-notch service that perfectly complements their Michelin-star quality. For our very first visit, we decided to go all in with one of the tasting menus and added some Japanese wagyu—let me tell you, it was absolutely mouth-watering! And don't overlook the little soft serve dessert they bring out; you might think it’s just a simple treat, but it’s bursting with flavor and pure deliciousness! I’m already counting down the days until I can come back for more! Trust me, you don't want to miss this dining experience!
Cote Miami is genuinely one of my top picks in the city, hands down. As America's only Michelin starred Korean steakhouse, it nails that lively tableside grilling vibe with seriously high quality cuts (USDA Prime shines, and the A5 Wagyu upgrade is worth it if you're splurging). The Butcher’s Feast is the move for sharing perfect portions of premium steaks, killer banchan, fresh sides, and that cozy, flavorful finish. The whole experience feels special: sharp service that actually cares, a buzzing but not overwhelming atmosphere in the Design District, and a strong wine list plus creative cocktails that elevate everything. It's pricey ($$$$ for sure), and portions are refined rather than huge, but the quality, creativity, and consistency make it feel justified every single time. Skip the bar scene if you're going full dinner, book a table ahead (it's tough on weekends), come hungry, and enjoy the real deal. If you want standout meat with personality in Miami, this place delivers.
It’s not just a restaurant, is a space to enjoy a experience around the food. They receive you at the bar to drink a cocktail and guide you through the wide menu; cooking at the table to decide your own meat cook level. It’s quite expensive for a tourist but not for a local having in consideration prices of other restaurants with lower service. They offer for free an ice cream to close the meal and experience. I would repeat for sure!
Absolutely phenomenal, I went here on Valentine’s Day and this restaurant did not disappoint. Not only the food was amazing but the service as well, there is no long wait for your food as it comes promptly, they clear your table in between dishes which is amazing (I love having a clutter free table). Everything was well worth my money. I’d recommend this to anyone who wants to experience amazing food. My date and I were thoroughly impressed with the food brought out to us. 10/10. Best food I’ve had in my LIFE.
From impeccable service to exquisite cuisine, Cote delivered an unforgettable dining experience. The staff, from the warm welcome at the entrance to the attentive service throughout, was exceptional. Our server expertly guided us through the menu, resulting in a selection of delectable dishes including the Korean bacon, the butchers feast, and the flavorful paella. I also appreciated the thoughtfulness and meticulous attention to detail which enhanced our experience. Special thanks to Gram for his kind attention and ensuring a seamless transition to the bar after our meal. While on the pricier side, the quality of the food and the impeccable service made it a great experience. I highly recommend Cote to anyone seeking a truly exceptional dining experience in Miami.
From the moment you walk in to the welcome drink you start with (still my favourite drink I’ve ever had, called One World, One Love) to the entire dining experience and incredible staff… we were spoiled!!! We came for the Thanksgiving feast and we were blown away. Every dish was 11/10 and we had the most fun with our incredibly knowledgeable and fun server—we can’t wait to go back!
COTE delivers an unforgettable, top-tier dining experience from start to finish. The multiservice format is incredibly well-executed—each course flows seamlessly, and every team member plays a part in making the evening special. The drinks are outstanding, the food is absolutely amazing, and the service is on another level. As someone who is dairy- and gluten-free, I was blown away by how attentive and knowledgeable the staff were. Every single server was already aware of my dietary needs and made sure everything I was served was safe and delicious. The attention to detail and genuine care they show is truly impressive. COTE is more than a meal—it’s an experience. Can’t recommend it enough!
Delicious Korean steakhouse with a versatile and well-balanced course menu. We visited for lunch and had an amazing experience. The meat was fresh and expertly prepared, and every side dish was flavorful and thoughtfully presented. The service was excellent—staff were attentive and ensured our side dishes were replenished throughout the meal. We also appreciated the wine selection, which included some house-made options. The course itself was well-curated, offering a variety of meat cuts and a great mix of sides, from fresh salads and vegetables to kimchi soup and a fluffy egg soufflé. We’re already looking forward to coming back!
Cote Miami is an absolute culinary gem! From the moment you step in, the vibrant atmosphere and stylish decor set the tone for an unforgettable dining experience. The highlight, of course, is the incredible Korean BBQ. The quality of the meats is top-notch, and the interactive grilling at the table adds a fun twist to the meal. The staff is knowledgeable and attentive, guiding you through the menu and ensuring you have everything you need. Don’t miss out on their delicious sides and unique cocktails that perfectly complement the meal. Whether you're a meat lover or just looking for a unique dining experience, Cote Miami is a must-visit. I can’t wait to return!
This was my first visit and it sure did not disappoint! We had a reservation and started with some nice champagne at the bar to open our appetite to the amazing meal we were going to have! We let our server make the food selections and he sure delivered. It was a lot of food and we left stuffed! We had the Legend of the Seven Seas, Steak and Eggs, Caviar, Steak Omakase, Wagyu, their sides and we wrapped up with something simple but packed of flavor, the vanilla ice cream with caramel soy sauce! Definitely a great experience that has to be done at least once in a lifetime. Thank you for a great dining experience.
High end restaurant. Beautiful place, if you are a meat eater this is the place for you. Very good meat serve hot right in front of you. All the side are delicious and just the right amount of spicy 🌶️ If I had to pick my favorite cut of meat. Cote steak and Cote Galbhi. The best for the price
Have a fun night here with friends. The steak was great, all the side dishes were fantastic. Loved the flavors. The paella was a great surprise, highly recommended. Personally don’t love so many different waiters/chefs passing through the table, feels a bit hectic. Other than that it was a great night. Thank you!
Did the 30th Wedding Anniversary at Cote Miami... only one word.... AMAZING... we were treated incredibly well... A young woman checked for our reservation at the entrance of the restaurant, congratulated us on our anniversary (while making the reservation, through Resy, I noted the event) and proceeded to invite us into the bar area. She told us that we would be seated shortly... I actually thought this to be great as it provided the opportunity to get a first drink before sitting down. I was a little worried that with sooo many people there they would not know who we were, but to my surprise about 10 minutes later a server came by and invited us to follow her to our table. The bar area was a little loud, but hey, its Miami on a Friday night! They gifted us both a glass of the Billecart 1818 champagne... soooo good... we were tempted to do the omakase, but we decided on the Butchers Feast. 5 types of meat all BBQ'd right in front of us... Its been a while since I have eaten so well... Wine list is a bit pricey, but if you look you'll be able to find a good bottle at a good price. Highly recommend the place and will definitely return.
After being based in the Boca Raton area, I’ve struggled to find an authentic Korean restaurant with the exemplary service and high-quality meats we’re used to in New York. My husband decided to take me to COTE Miami, which holds a Michelin star and came highly recommended. We arrived early at its great location in the Design District, surrounded by luxury shops like Louis Vuitton. Since there is no formal waiting area and the bar is standing-room only, we walked around until our reservation. Once seated, we enjoyed the meal, though it’s a departure from traditional Korean flavors. While the kimchi wasn't my favorite, the hanger steak and Wagyu beef were outstanding. However, the Galbi was disappointing as it was far too fatty compared to authentic versions. The service was impeccable and the atmosphere was sophisticated, exactly what you'd expect from a high-end establishment.
Absolutely amazing experience at COTE. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is stylish and welcoming. The service is outstanding—attentive, knowledgeable, and perfectly timed. The quality of the meat is exceptional, cooked to perfection, and every dish is full of flavor and beautifully presented. The sides and cocktails complement the meal perfectly, and the overall experience feels upscale yet comfortable. Truly one of the best dining experiences—highly recommended for a special night out.
COTE Miami is hands down my favorite restaurant in the city. It’s the perfect combination of luxury and value — truly the best bang for your buck in Miami’s dining scene. The quality of the meat is next-level: every cut is incredibly tender, perfectly marbled, and cooked with a level of precision you just don’t get anywhere else. You taste the difference immediately. The service is second to none. The staff knows the menu inside and out, they guide you through the experience without ever being pushy, and they make the whole meal feel seamless and special. Whether it’s your first visit or your tenth, they treat you like a regular. If you want an elevated Korean steakhouse experience without the pretentious attitude or absurd price tag you get at other spots, COTE delivers every single time. Consistent, high-quality, and genuinely worth every penny. Easily a 10/10.
I came here for the first time and I was served my Gabriel. He was really kind and patient. The service, food and atmosphere was 10/10. I recommend the butchers feast if your coming for the first time. Very good quality meat and authentic food. Would definitely come back! 10/10 recommend ^^
Great atmosphere, great food, deliciously prepared in front of you. All the servers are fun, polite and helpful. Steak is delicious, really one of a kind. The non-alcoholic beer and the aperitif is great. A little bit cramped in terms of space, but otherwise phenomenal place.
Honestly, this place really impressed me! We thought it was just a regular Korean BBQ spot, but it’s actually a higher-end experience. The menu is unique , you can order combos with different types of meats, and the staff cooks everything for you perfectly. They even explain how to enjoy each item for the best flavor and texture, which makes the whole meal feel really special. There’s also a nice little bar at the entrance, so if you have to wait for your table, you can relax and have a drink first. The staff was super warm and welcoming , they even took the time to chat, ask about the occasion, and make sure we were having a great time. Definitely one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Miami Beach. Highly recommend!
Disclaimer ***I haven’t had the opportunity to dine here yet, but I felt compelled to leave a review based on the exceptional customer service I experienced. My friend and I arrived during an incredibly busy Art Basel Saturday evening without reservations. The restaurant was completely packed! The bar was full and all tables were committed for the night. When I asked the staff for a recommendation since I was visiting from out of town, Aidy at the front desk went far beyond what anyone would expect. Rather than simply wishing us “best of luck next time” she personally walked us to a nearby location where her friend worked to ensure we would be well taken care of. She didn’t have to take the time or trouble herself, especially during such a hectic evening, but she did anyway. This level of genuine hospitality and care speaks volumes about Aidy and the culture of this establishment. When staff members are willing to go this far out of their way to help guests, even when they can’t accommodate them, it shows real character and commitment to service. I can’t wait to return and actually experience the food, but I already know the service will be exceptional. Thank you, Aidy, for your kindness and for going above and beyond!
We celebrated our wedding anniversary at Cote Miami, a Korean BBQ that delivered a truly unique dining experience. The servers expertly handled the preparation of the dishes right at our table, adding to the interactive charm of the evening. The accompaniments were also delicious, though those sensitive to spice might find some of them a bit intense. The food overall was outstanding, the ambiance elegant with a cool, sophisticated vibe, and the service marked by exceptional attention to detail.
COTE Korean steakhouse was an incredible experience from the moment you step through the front door to the last bite of food you have. I found out about COTE years years ago from a YouTube video by Eater and have been wanting to go ever since. We ordered the Butcher’s Feast which runs $78/person and provided you ample side dishes as well as roughly 7-8oz of different cuts of meat including a dry aged rib eye and American hangar steak. For a first time experience this is definitely the way to go as you get a little taste of everything and can then go back and à la carte exactly what you like best. We also opted to add the 1oz of Japanese A5 Wagyu and that is most definitely worth the bite. The last photo was a shareable appetizer of Korean “bacon” which was their twist and take on amazing pork belly served with a pickled jalapeño and mustard. Next time we travel to Miami or NYC we will definitely be visiting COTE again, shoutout to Simon Kim and chef David for creating an amazing experience and being able to do so in multiple locations!
We had a fantastic experience at this Korean restaurant in Miami. The food was delicious and very unique, with great flavors and beautiful presentation. The service was attentive and friendly, and the staff explained everything and helped us with the grill. The atmosphere is cozy and stylish, perfect for a fun dinner with friends or a special night out.
We recently celebrated our anniversary at COTE Miami, and everything from start to finish was absolutely perfect. A special shoutout to Michael, our waiter, who truly went above and beyond to make our afternoon memorable. Whether you're a seasoned steak lover or just there for the experience, the menu delivers in every way. Highly recommend COTE for any special occasion or anytime you want a top-tier dining experience in Miami.
Michael was great at introducing the different menu options and repeating them again for us to decide. Then Ethan was great at cooking our meats to the perfect temperature (medium and medium rare) and following up with us and offering great conversation. Everyone on the team was quick so pick up for empty plates, refills and attending to the meat to elevate the experience effortlessly.
My wife and I went during lunch on a a Thursday. The staff was very friendly and they sat us quickly. The restaurant is beautiful and comfortable. We had the Miami spice menu. We ordered the Waldorf salad and the truffle shrimp salad which were perfectly dressed. We went with the fried chicken and the Optimus prime steak sandwich. The sandwich came with this whipped horseradish that was perfectly dressed. We also ordered the paella, the steak in the paella was really good, the rice was a little saltier then I like but was good. The vanilla ice cream was a special surprise. The caramel was a slight drizzle that just popped.Overall Cote was great experience
One of my favorite restaurants in the entire country. Everything here is absolutely impeccable, from the service to the quality of the food. Making a reservation in advance is a must. This was my second visit, we tried the Butcher’s Feast this time, after having the Steak Omakase our first, both were phenomenal.
Dinner at Cote Miami was bar none. We got the butcher’s feast, and while we originally thought we’d both easily eat all the food offered, we were sorely mistaken. From the Wagyu to the Short Rib, everything was cooked to perfection by the staff, extremely tender, and juicy. From the moment we walked in, we noticed the purposeful and intricate layout of the restaurant. From entry, to the bar, to the dining area, everything exuded elegance without being gaudy or over-exaggerated. If you’re looking for great steak, sides, service, and overall atmosphere, then don’t hesitate to dine here!
Had a good experience dining here, the place has great vibes and it’s definitely a unique experience from traditional steak houses. The quality was there for sure, highly recommend you try the steak & eggs appetizer. Good service. Manager made sure I was take care of and stoped by multiple times to ensure I had a good experience. Will be back!
Cote Miami completely won us over with both its amazing atmosphere and the incredible quality of its steaks. It truly deserves all the hype. We highly recommend trying the chef’s steak tasting menu — every cut was cooked to perfection and full of flavor. Also, don’t miss out on their exclusive wines, which pair beautifully with the meal. A memorable dining experience from start to finish!
10/10 experience - food, service, and atmosphere all on point. This was my second time at COTE, first time at COTE Miami. We started off a bit annoyed at our wait, but the service staff made up for it immediately upon seating. The front-of-house manager and our server Ethan did a phenomenal job of making our experience feel special, and the food was as great as I remembered from the NYC location. Definitely a must-visit!
Wow! Being Korean myself I had high expectations and Cote blew my mind. We were lucky enough to get a reservation and from the service, to the atmosphere everything was perfect. My favourite was the Galbi, it literally just melts in your mouth and I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it!
I went to Cote for my birthday dinner and it did not disappoint! Every single cut of meat and side dish was absolutely delicious—cooked and seasoned to perfection. The cocktails were top tier, super well-balanced and creative. What really stood out, though, was the service—everyone was incredibly polite, attentive, and made the entire experience feel special. Highly recommend for a memorable night out!
COTE Miami is simply outstanding! The atmosphere is vibrant and elegant, the service is flawless, and the food is on another level. The quality of the cuts of meat is unmatched truly the best. The kimchi wagyu paella is an absolute delight, packed with flavor and creativity. On top of that, the cocktails are perfectly crafted and pair beautifully with the dishes. An excellent dining experience from start to finish!
We visited this restaurant to celebrate my husband’s birthday and opted for the $74 per person fixed menu, which featured a variety of meat cuts. We also added the Wagyu, which was a great choice. The food was expertly cooked, and the selection of meats was fantastic—each cut was absolutely delicious. The service was excellent, with everyone who took care of us being attentive and friendly. The meat came with a variety of sides, which added to the authenticity of the Korean barbecue experience. The concept is a bit different, as the meat cuts are more in line with barbecue-style offerings, but it worked beautifully. Overall, our experience was wonderful. We’ll definitely be back and will highly recommend this place to others!
We had been looking forward to trying COTE ever since we saw it featured on YouTube, and let me tell you, it absolutely lived up to the hype! From the moment we walked in, the energy was buzzing, and the service was top-notch. We came as a party of four and opted for the Butcher’s Feast, which was an incredible experience from start to finish. Every bite was perfectly curated, starting with the Gogi Cha and the rich, flavourful prime beef bone consommé. The Scallion Salad and Mixed Greens with gochugaru vinaigrette were bright, fresh, and the perfect way to kick off the meal. The Ban-Chan selections were great, offering a variety of seasonal flavours that paired beautifully with the main event. The Feast of Prime & American Wagyu Beef was the real star! Four expertly chosen cuts, each cooked to absolute perfection. The Savoury Egg Soufflé was fluffy and comforting, and the Red Leaf Lettuce with Ssam-jang provided a fresh contrast to the richness of the meats. The meal was rounded out with two incredible stews. Spicy Kimchi Stew and Savory Doen-jang Stew, both served with rice and packed with deep, comforting flavours. And just when we thought it couldn’t get better, the Soy Sauce Caramel Soft Serve arrived, a perfect sweet and salty ending to an amazing meal. A quick heads-up: parking can be tricky, so I highly recommend giving yourself extra time to find a spot so you're not rushed. But trust me, once you sit down and take that first bite, you’ll know it was all worth it. COTE is an absolute must-visit for any Korean BBQ lover. We’ll definitely be back!
Beautiful location. Friendly and professional staff. The doorman dressed in a suit told us before we even when in that it was a nice place. Our chef was a gentleman from Spain and kept us smiling and laughing. Very knowledgable of the menu and exactly where/how each cut of meat is sourced which is very impressive. I can be a pain to cook for due to having ton of food allergies but they were all on top of it. The quality control and attention to detail with the food is on another level. Very impressive. We had 4 different cuts of beef. Due to health issues I generally stick to a 100% grass fed carnivore diet though I allow myself the occasional cheat day. I'm a bit spoiled on high quality meat so I tend to be disappointed eating out at the average steakhouse. I was absolutely blown away with the beef cuts here. Definitely a must for any steak lover. My only complaint would be the noise level. We had to raise our voices to have conversation which isn't optimum for what I'd expect having a date at a high end restaurant. To be fair, it's probably the average vibe of Miami nightlife and still calmer than other places so I'd definitely go next time I'm in Miami.
Went here last night with a group of friends to celebrate a friend’s promotion, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, the hostesses were welcoming, the ambiance was beautiful, and everything felt elevated without being overwhelming. We were introduced to someone named Jay or Jake at the bar, and he was absolutely amazing. He knew we had a night of drinking ahead of us and suggested a great pre-dinner drink that definitely helped set the tone for the evening. Since it was all of our first time dining here, he also provided excellent menu and drink recommendations and made us feel comfortable and excited about the experience. From beginning to end, the service truly stood out. Everyone was attentive to our table and made the entire evening feel special. We’ve never experienced dining like this before, and it was the perfect place to celebrate. I would absolutely go back again.
It's a restaurant where the food is delicious, and the service is top-notch (10 out of 10). The chefs prepare your meal right in front of you, explaining each step and every cut of meat. It's the perfect spot for a special dinner where everyone gathers around the food. Although it's pricey, it's well worth the experience.
I went to Cote to celebrate my birthday. It was a wonderful time. I highly recommend this place!!! Starting with the service, which was exceptional. The atmosphere is chic, lively and elegant, and the drinks at the bar are worth the wait. On the menu, I highly recommend the complete $79 which can be finished with a Wagyu A5. (See photos) There were four of us and the food was incredible. They considered the children and offered options no spicy. As a wine expert, I want to congratulate them on the excellent wine list, with options for all budgets. For those who do not know anything about the subject, ask the sommelier for a recommendation; he will certainly be able to suggest something you.
All the good things they say about this place are true. Out dining experience for a group of 9 was perfect, they took care of us every step of the way. The host even went above and beyond, reaching out to contacts at our next stop of the night to make sure our evening continued on the high note it was on from dinner.
This place does everything right. From the outset, you are immersed in Michelin rated experience with food, service and atmosphere that are all on point . The meats are all excellent, although the hanger steak was a bit chewy. The wagyu was excellent especially when paired with acidic radish or cauliflower, and the sides compliment the meats perfectly The journey continues with a soft serve ice cream topped with a sweet soy sauce drizzle (yes soy sauce for desert). Even the grill tables themselves are a notch above other Korean BBQ restaurants. The cook surface is surrounded by exhaust vents that suck the smells and smoke before it can hit you or settle on your clothes. Finally, the wait team works together to keep your glasses full and your plates even fuller. For those looking to just take in the atmosphere, there is a lively bar area to enjoy.
COTE Miami is incredible! The food, service, and atmosphere are all top-tier. The Butcher’s Feast is 100% worth it! every cut of meat was perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. The staff is super attentive without being overbearing, and the vibe strikes the perfect balance between elegant and lively. Can’t wait to go back!
I had a great first experience here with my fiancée. First the staff: David was AWESOME! Very attentive, charismatic, and keyed into little details that made us feel very welcome. He helped make our engagement celebration very special. The rest of the staff, from the man at the door, receptionist, and bartender were all great as well. A lot of people contributed to a great experience. The Vibe/Ambiance: Very unique for a Michelin restaurant. Felt very much like a VIP upscale club with small booths. It made for a very fun and upbeat visit. I wasn’t looking for an upright and prude restaurant and this place delivered. Low-lit, good music, great attentive staff. Most importantly, the food: A-MAZ-ING. Highly recommend the Butcher’s Feast. I would imagine the Omakase would be even better. All four cuts of meat were incredible, with the Wagyu and Galbi especially standing out. The scallion salad, sauce, mushroom consome, and kimchi were all fantastic. The ice cream with soy caramel was a great dessert. I planned this trip months ahead of time and booked our table the day it was available a month in advance with anticipation this would be a special place to celebrate a meaningful moment in our life. I was not disappointed in any way. Thanks again and special recommendation to ask for David, he’ll take care of you!
Good service, the restaurant staff constantly came over to check if everything was okay and if we needed anything. The cocktails were surprisingly delicious, and the atmosphere was pleasant and interesting. The food... it's hard to evaluate when the meat is almost all raw and cooked to order, but it was good. We will definitely be back and recommend visiting.
A next-level dining experience. Attention to detail unmatched. COTE Miami absolutely crushed it. Steak was unbelievable… but the moment that stood out most? Their hospitality. We are in the fruit & vegetable industry, and Bram along with the team picked up on that right away. They surprised us with a custom fruit dessert that showcased what they have in-house. When Bram came by the table, he said “Since you guys have a produce company, we wanted to show you something special.” That level of attention told me everything I need to know about this place. They don’t just serve amazing food. They make every visit feel personal, thoughtful, and elevated. If you want to feel taken care of at the highest level, COTE Miami is the spot. We’ll be back, often.
Cote is a classy and elegant Korean restaurant with a mature, upscale crowd and exceptional. The music and ambience create a perfect vibe. The ribeye and special cuts were delicious, though the Paella was a bit salty but super flavorful. Service was exceptional—over five attentive staff no who elevated our experience with knowledge and respect. Definitely coming back!
Overall great experience and the idea of having someone to season and grill the beef for you in front of you is simply amazing. We opted for the $78 per person Butcher’s Feast (comes with 4 selected cuts) as we were having difficulty selecting which cuts of meat we want from the menu😂 Guess it’s a lot easier to just go for the chef’s selection. The entire dining experience was impeccable, and you can advise the servers to cook the meat to your liking (medium, medium well, well done, etc.). Plenty of side dishes were served to go with the bbq. We were kind of expecting higher quality meat to be served though as it’s a 1-star Michelin restaurant after all.
It’s a nice experience if your vibe is to go see and be seen. The majority of the crowd seemed very gen Z, not really focused or appreciative of the food. The music was very loud. We were shouting across the table. Food was great. We ordered the Butcher’s Feast, it included plenty of small side dishes, all delicious, but the meat offering was a bit underwhelming. We expected more meat but I guess you’re supposed to get filled up with the sides. Service was good and professional. I don’t blame the place for the crowd since the whole Miami Resign District area seems very fake. Influencer style fake. And that spills over the restaurants and businesses in there. Conclusion. Food is great but not if you’re a big eater. Place is noisy with people and music. But probably that’s the Ok Boomer in me.
I went here for my Birthday and COTE Miami delivers a refined dining experience with standout quality. We opted for the Butcher’s Feast every cut was well-marbled, flavorful, and high quality. While the staff typically grills the meats tableside for you, we chose to cook them ourselves. Even so, the team remained attentive, frequently checking in to offer tips and techniques to help us perfect each cut, a thoughtful touch that elevated the experience. Side dishes and soups were equally impressive and well-balanced. However, despite having a reservation and arriving early, we still experienced a notable wait. The bar lacked seating, and the noise level made conversation difficult not ideal for those seeking a more relaxed or intimate setting. Still, the food and service are undeniably strong. A solid 4-star experience and highly recommended for those looking to enjoy elevated Korean steakhouse dining with a modern twist.
The service was great, as all cooking was done by the staff. Our waiter also did a great job introducing the menu. Personally I don’t think the food is anything special - especially the filet mignon and the dry aged ribeye - they tasted good, but didn’t feel like a Korean BBQ - you could probably get them at any steakhouse restaurants. The marinated short rib was a little bit on the sweeter side, but I actually enjoyed that more.
Went for miami spice, it was good! But I just expected more since it was a Michellen star . We got the $35 special. The service was amazing and the atmosphere was amazing. The food came out together which was nice. The appetizers were really good! And the portions were big, it was def a fun experience. The best thing was def the icecream 🍦!
Cote brings a polished, lively twist to the Korean steakhouse. Starters are fresh and flavorful, prepared with care, and the service is attentive and professional. One of the highlights for me was a starter of PIF, tartare, and caviar—around $80, but absolutely worth it. The atmosphere is dark and stylish, perfect for friends, family gatherings, or work happy hours, with a sleek bar that adds to the vibe. Located in Miami’s Design District, part of the bill covers the setting—and you can expect to spend over $250+ per person (light drinkers). While it’s an enjoyable spot for quality Korean cuisine in a vibrant setting, those seeking a more private, ultra high-end meal may find better value nearby.
We had the pleasure of dining at COTE Restaurant, and from start to finish, the experience was exceptional. Our waiter, Nestor, was truly a standout—his charisma, warmth, and deep knowledge of the menu elevated our evening. He walked us through every course with such expertise and passion that it made each bite even more memorable. Beyond Nestor, the entire team was attentive, professional, and respectful. You could feel the precision and care that defines a Michelin-starred establishment. It was clear why COTE has earned its place among the best. We would absolutely love to return and relive this incredible dining experience. Highly recommended!
After several visits to Miami, we were finally able to get a reservation at Cote — it’s a popular spot, so I highly recommend booking in advance to secure a table. The restaurant has an elegant atmosphere, but I wouldn’t suggest dressing too formally, as the meat is cooked right at the table and the smoky aroma tends to linger on your clothes. You can already sense that smoky scent as soon as you walk in, with the aroma of grilled meat filling the space from every table. There’s a bar area where guests wait until their table is ready. The staff is incredibly kind, attentive, and professional — the level of service is truly excellent. The bar offers a wide variety of cocktails, though some are served from cans into a glass, which was a bit unexpected. The food is plentiful, with a generous selection of meats and side dishes. The meat is grilled at the table, enhanced by the wonderful attention and care of the staff. They also have an excellent wine list. Given that it’s a Michelin-starred restaurant, I was expecting a bit more in terms of flavor balance and the overall presentation. Still, it’s a lovely experience for those who enjoy high-quality grilled meats. I do recommend it.
Highkey overpriced. Food is good but the ambiance?? Lol are we serious. Looks like your local k bbq spot not a design district michelin. Fix the lighting and the interior. I enjoyed the stews the most out of all the dishes offered. The steak was good but not michelin mindblowing. To be fair, we got the butchers feast as this was recommended by a friend who said it was the best experience at cote to try all the foods. Egg soufflee needs works seriously it just tasted like plain old eggs. I think i can make eggs taste better. Lacks seasoning and umami!!! Service is so weird. They come and go flip your meats and then leave. Does not feel very michelin to me tbh. soft serve tastes like dairy queen. Lol jokes
Went in with high expectations and left feeling pretty underwhelmed. The atmosphere is great. It feels like it should be an elite dining experience. That part delivers. The food, though, was extremely meh. I expected insane, memorable cuts of meat & sides, but the butcher’s feast felt very forgettable. Nothing tasted particularly special or standout. The flavor was surprisingly average and did not justify the hype at all. If you are going to go, I would probably skip the standard options and go straight for a cut of Wagyu. That seems like it might be the only way to really be impressed here. Not bad, just not nearly as good as I expected.
Food was okay. Not even close to a michelin star. Just an ordinary restaurant with higher end beef selection. My ma and pop Koreatown restaurant in LA is 100 times better. The Bandhan was horrible and no creativity at all. Lost authenticity. Just another wanna be restaurant. You might think I dont know what im talking about but ive worked for 5 michelin star restaurants. Does that make me an expert. Maybe not. But this restaurant is ridiculously bad. Maybe the Miami glitz blinds the taste of miami but its all just fluff. Too bad.
My first visit to COTE Miami in October 2025 for lunch was strong. I ordered tons of incredible cuts and cooked them myself. Although I cooked them myself, the server during this visit seemed extremely knowledgeable about proper cooking techniques. The quality, experience, and service really impressed me. I left that night with a very positive opinion of the restaurant. I spoke very highly of Cote. My second visit in February 2026 was a letdown. This was for lunch again, and the experience didn’t match what I remembered. The service felt awkward at times, with some miscommunication throughout the meal. While the server was kind enough to accommodate rice and nori, the overall experience lacked polish. The steak omakase was the biggest disappointment. It felt uninspired and not particularly premium, and I wouldn’t recommend it. Several steaks lacked a proper crust, and temperature of medium rare was not consistent.. A few pieces were cooked properly, but others had crust on only one side while the other side showed nothing but grill marks, and some lacked crust on both sides entirely. Overall, the cooking felt awkward and not carefully executed. I understand the server’s recommendation to handle the cooking, but with cuts at this level (even not the A5 cuts) should be treated with far more consistency and experience. My honest recommendation is to SKIP the steak omakase. You will have a better experience, ordering individual items like the A5 tenderloin, grand cru galbi and some American wagyu. The A5 ribeye horizontal tasting is also one of the best menu items. These rare cuts that really stand out… Real Kobe beef is extremely hard to find. After such a strong first visit, the inconsistency was disappointing especially for a Michelin-star restaurant and how highly I spoke to my guests I brought.
Cote is overhyped. The food was mediocre, and the whole concept of waiters doubling as cooks just meant different people kept coming to the table to handle the food with no gloves or clear sanitation, which felt off-putting. We usually don’t mind spending on upscale dining if the food and atmosphere are worth it, but here it wasn’t. Happy we only did the Miami spice menu and even with that, mocktails were still $15 each and the bill came to nearly $200 for two people. Overall, not worth the hype or the price.
Couldn’t get a reservation, so decided to do take out. Ordered an assortment for a family of 6. Food overall was okay… considering it was take out, wasn’t expecting much. Portions for the meat were small - nothing special. Ordered radish kimchee… 5 pieces for $6: that was insane. And it was actually not good at all. Will definitely not do take out again. Willing to give it a try for dine in.
I am a big fan of Cote and we usually go at least once a week. Yesterday, my boyfriend and I went for lunch, and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. The first cut of meat was so tough that we had to send it back. When they kindly brought us a replacement, it was just as bad. The second cut was only okay, and the final cut—which is usually the best did not look good at all. The waiter kindly involved the manager, and they changed it even before cooking it. The egg soufflé had no salt, and the two consommés also lacked the flavor they usually have. Even the ice cream, which is normally one of the best things about this place, was left untouched because it didn’t have the same consistency or taste as always. We spoke with the manager, who told us they were doing kitchen tests. I find it inappropriate for this kind of testing to be done on a Saturday at lunchtime, especially in a restaurant of this level. The only thing we truly enjoyed was the salad.
