OMG how the food was amazing but by far the mozzarella appetizer has been the best that I have ever had. I am a fanatic of always ordering mozzsticks wherever I go. None have been like these. They are not sticks they're a Patty and the cheese is oh so gooey and melted when you bite into it the cheese just stretches. And the crispy coating. Dang it I'm hungry.

No one compares to Laura....for sports knowledge and a good laugh about anything she is the cute girl next door that shows up with great food. The menu is just right....small enough to make it consistently good and big enough that you can eat there everyday. I know exactly who Steve is talking about!! Ouch!! Sorry dude seriously go back when Laura is working! I'm so happy we moved in right around the corner from this place...we love it!!

I eat here often with friends. The food is good, the service is easy and friendly, and the French fries are a must! They go well with the blacked Mahi sandwich.

As advertised! But seriously, delicious food at a local pub with full bar and barbeque menu. A very personable and attentive manager and staff. The cook seemed to have a bit of a salty pallet the night we were there, but still a great little spot.

1st time here after hearing great things. Was a busy Tuesday. Food was great. Service could've been better. Waiter was not very attentive. Seems like he was spread too thin. Only saw 2 wait staff on the floor for a packed house. Will definitely give this place a 2nd try.

As soon as we walked into The Hole in the Wall, a wonderful smell of BBQ hit the nose!! knew we were in a Great establishment (found out later, there are other ones of this Pub). the Young ladies were friendly/pretty, the place neat & clean in spite of it being busy (VERY good sign) and the Prices extremely reasonable for High Quality of the food. Cold! beer on tap/Wonderful food selections. Chose BEEF BRISKET Sliders [3], which came w/ pot. Chips or hand-cut shoe string potatoes. Being in slight hurry to get back on the road (we're Key West) I asked for just chips on the side. Husband persuaded to change out & SO Glad we did. Ate almost all fries before eating the sliders we split. More than enough for us 2 as lighter fare (& husband's No light weight). The Brisket flavor was phenomenal, enough to warrant the idea of Finding out the recipe/ingredients! (Have a couple of smokers myself, as wife). Wound up complimenting the cooks after all said & done. Driving down in Key Largo could still smell the delicious leftover BBQ! Wish we had 1 of these down here in Key West!

I had an amazing lunch there today! Carol took great care of me. I rarely visit this location but after today I'm looking forward to coming back more often. Great food made by the chef and great service from the bartender! Definitely 5 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The prices are reasonable, the service is magnificent, the staff is accommodating and engaging and polite, and the drive there takes no time. I've taken a few loved ones here to dine and they not only agree with me, but they have revisited this awesome place with their friends and family.

I’m pretty much a weekly regular at the hole, generally for beers with my my friends…had the wings a couple times (excellent) but last week, I had a Mahi Reuben…it was outstanding. I specifically got the chef’s attention and told him as much….was it a one off? I came back a week later and ordered it again. It certainly did NOT disappoint. There was no shortage of fresh mahi….it was actually hanging out the side of the sandwich! It was hot, spiced perfectly and delicious. Well done boys! Looking forward to trying something else on the menu…and I’m sure I one disappointed. Highly recommend!

My favorite place to watch any big games! Staff is super on top of it and extremely friendly (Dom and Monica in particular!), and they have probably one of the best steak Philly’s in South FL. Great draft beer selection as well with new taps every time we come in! More of a locals bar and close to the house so it’s nice to see familiar faces every time we go and the atmosphere is great.

We passed this place on our road trip. From The outside you might almost think that the tavern is closed but stepping inside you find a charming tavern. We were absolutely amazed by the food. The rips, the wings and the fries were so delicious and the service was great as well. Definitely recommend!

The place is awesome. I love the food because it is always fresh and delicious. The service is excellent too. I have returned several times. They have the taco Tuesdays when all the tacos are $1 when you buy a soda or drink. The pork nachos are amazing too. It is a large plate that it is too much for one person.

Visiting from South Carolina so we wanted to try a good local spot and this place was a crowd pleaser! Food and portions were great. We got the blackened Mahi cheesesteak, blt, mushroom burger, and tenders with fries....all excellent! Definitely recommended!

We happened to go on a Tuesday and it was Taco Tuesday!!! We tried all of the flavors they offered, and they will make an Arnold Palmer, and it tastes great. TY. We'll be back for the wing day (Thursday). God bless

Hole in a wall, it’s a great description of this little quaint watering hole. The burgers are great, big juicy and well cooked. Had the Buffalo shrimp as an appetizer, left me wanting more. My kid had the chicken and I had to try one. Pretty dang good. This is going to be my new go to place for comfort food and a beer!!!

Great place to take a break and get some sustenance. Cold beverages, freshly prepared chow, it is the place you want go. This place is clean and relaxed. You won't get a headache from some overly loud music or bass rap. I like the food because it is made to order. I like beer here because it is fresh and comes in a frosted glass. The service is fast, like that too.

If you like a dive bar this is the spot. If you like a good authentic burger this is the spot. If you hate going to bars and restaurants that are loud and full of rude people this is the spot. I've come here at least 6 times now. The Mahi Mahi burger is amazing the normal burgers are great. The Florida Philly cheese is the only thing that's like... Ok (could use some grilled onions or something that makes it taste different from a classic Philly cheese). All in all, the servers are always great the food is always great the beer selection is great and it really is just a random spot you'd never expect a decent dive bar to be. I've lived in several states and several countries and this spot feels like home to me.

Great BBQ at a great price. We stopped in for a bite to eat before hitting the arcade that was in the same shopping center and were not expecting much, but we were pleasantly surprised! There is a great selection of beer at really good prices. I had the brisket and was thinking about it for days afterwards. Large seating and spaces to accommodate either big gatherings or couples. Will definitely be back if in the area!

I'm confused by some of the low ratings I read on here. Maybe these people came in during the busy hours and had a unique experience to the one I had. AVERY is my man! Great all around service and awesome attitude. Please show him some love, these are the people lifting up your business. Service was great, food was amazing, hell I had to order another round of Buffalo shrimp. The chips were fresh! The fries were honestly the best fries I've had in a long time. Right amount of texture and crisp. The ribs were STRAIGHT FIRE. I thought "damn that's not a lot of BBQ sauce" but you guys knew we didn't need sauce for these ribs. Flavor central. These ribs didn't wanna make me slap my momma.. they made me wanna slap everybody up who left 1 star reviews.... catch me outside I've been to the location in Kendall which was great as well but you guys are awesome, we'll be back!

A true hole in the wall! Not a large restaurant but a nice off the beaten path neighborhood restaurant. A place to watch big games on the 15 different screens! Staff was pleasantly friendly and made helpful recommendations on the menu. Keto friendly foods, chicken wings, bunless burgers, salads, etc. The wings (Spicy BBQ) were okay along with my bunless burger. Bar seating available along with high and picnic style tables. This visit was during the week around 1400 not crowded and plenty of seating. Will visit again.

This bar and grill has a very positive vibe. It was Taco Tuesday for $1.00 the day I went they offer four choices, chicken, pork, steak and hamburger you can have as many as you want. They come w lettuce, cheese and a special cilantro sauce. There's also the extras items you may add but I wanted the $1.00 still they were very good. It was my first visit but my friends are regular customers they highly recommend the wings, fish dip, hamburgers, tuna tataki therefore I can safely say that the kitchen staff does an excellent job. Service on the other hand was slow and not committed to their job. Still I would revisit any time w an extensive beer menu and good food and company I can handle the rest.

Quick to the table with drinks and food. Friendly staff and quality food overall. They were a little busy and fries came out soggy and a medium burger was rare at best but the rest of the meals were great. We would come here again. :)

This place was slammed. I love several of their selections and it took me 40 minutes to get my food. They do not have table see service so I will get a pitcher and not stand in line so many times. Not the best cleaning due to to few employee's.

Great place and great local spot. If you’re not from the area or on vacation, visit the Cutlet Bay location and talk to the real locals. You’ll learn so much and discover new local places to go. Do to Covid, it’s changed a bit. Food is definitely hometown kind of food. Beer, wings and rings kind of a place. They have outdoor seating. Love the Jukebox. You can connect your phone and play music. Inside is a bit loud inside. But super cool place to go hangout in slippers, T-Shirt and shorts. Super laid back. Love the place I recommend.

I like coming here. It's the perfect local place, golfcart distance. I just wish the kitchen was open till later. I arrived at 946pm and I was told kitchen was already closed. Who closes their kitchen 1 hour and 15 min before the business close time (11pm)? Food is great, beer is great, staff is great! And being able to sit outside is a plus.

We ordered the burger tacos, which my husband said he would definitely get again and the blackened Mahi sandwich with fries. Both of our items were very good. Love our take home cups!

Ordered the pork nachos to go. I was pleased to see all ingredients packed in separate containers. Majority of pork though was the hard chewy fat (which I didn’t eat) and the nachos had way too much salt on them. Besides that, it was good!

Wings were great! Onion rings were perfect! It was my 1st time there and was a little thrown at the noise level. It seems popular with locals, people around the bar know each & they were turnt all the way up. Nothing outrageous just interesting.

I was visiting from out of town and met up with a childhood friend. The beer was nice and cold and the Rachelle Fish Sandwich was delicious 😋! A gentleman seated at the bar offered to move over and make room for 2 when he saw where we wanted to sit. My only negative comment is that we sat at the bar for several minutes before being greeted or acknowledged by the staff. I would definitely eat and hang out here again.

The food is good. There were two of us for lunch. We ordered at the sane time. The fish came out 1st but it took a bit longer for the burger to come out. Utensils are the plastic wrapped ones. We were in after lunchtime and the place was mostly empty.

Food was excellent. Our party tried the pork the brisket and the chili. All three were really good. Restaurant overall wasn't busy when we arrived but was rather messy. Service was alight but could have been better for lack of customers there while we ate.

Last night, we enjoyed their chicken wings. They were juicy, not overcooked, and the garlick sauce was a perfect combination. I recommend a try if you have never been there.

I tried the food for the first time yesterday and I must say I am very dissatisfied. My wings were very burnt I could taste and smell it while eating it. The only thing that was good was the conch fritters. Would I recommend? Maybe if you’re in the mood for conch only!

I frequently go here when in town, prices are reasonable selection is good. The only complaint I can have and do is the zero modification on Taco Tuesday as I cannot have cilantro thus the whole "value" of going on a Tuesday is negated I would be better off finding another venue for Tuesdays. Only heads up is on the Tuesday special this was the only "item" I have had an issue with so if you are not in the 1℅ who are allergic to cilantro then this would be a high four or low five in my book.

Decent place. Typical spot that properly holds up its name in a positive manner. Plenty of TVs in the spot for your viewing pleasure and pretty good food. I had the brisket sandwich. Now... The service on the other hand... I understand employees having your regulars when behind the bar. However if you are working the bar and taking tables, all your parties deserve thr same amount of attention. It took a while for my table's order to be taken. On top of that, i had to stand up and raise my hand for the check. This is after she already began clearing the table. Then i had to actually get up, walk over to the bar and request my check. All im saying, is work on your customer service or provide your guests with a fully staffed establishment.

Waited a long time for server and the $1 tacos on Taco Tuesday special were very small and not to our liking! The burger was very good! Suggestion: charge a little more and make them larger. I ordered 4 and it was the equivalent of maybe 1 regular taco. The meat was also overdone and somewhat cold. The table was dirtyy and the floor was sticky as well so that made me feel as if cleanliness was not their top priority.

I use to love this place and I didn't mind the staff and service. I have been coming to this place for long time more than once per week. Recently I noticed the food quality and flavor has changed. The wings are either over cooked or under cooked and over seasoned, I've complained to the waiters several time and they kept saying sorry and the next time will be better and to give it another chance since they have a new cook he is getting acquainted with everything. I did return few more times thereafter but I don't see anything change. So for now good by Hole in the wall. I already found another sports bar in the area with excellent food and service.

Although I love the food from this place normally I only do take out unfortunately one day I decided to go in and have for my meal there they burned my fries as well as the chicken tenders. This was not the worst part if you walked past the kitchen it is very dirty there they keep a lot of trash as well as puddles of water on the floor I have no idea how this restaurant passes there health inspections it leaves a lot to be desired. Their chicken wings are amazing as long as you order them from your home and do not have to see the kitchen in which they’re cooked.

I usually love this organization, so I got excited finding one so close to home… until I went. I’ve been to this location 3 times - once at the bar, and 2 times sitting at a table with my husband and kids. Each time I was waited on, it was a woman who had a nasty attitude (separate women that is) - they seem miserable to be there and are not welcoming whatsoever. Takes us at least 20 minutes to get a cup of water, and any time I need anything else (sauce, etc), I need to get up myself and ask for it, because they rarely come back to the table. Sitting at the bar was a much different experience, and sadly to say (as I woman), the men that work her are much more welcoming and actually have customer service. I wish people could just do their jobs - happily!

Service is unusually bad tonight. Two other parties got menus and drink orders taken even though they were seated after me. I finally had to flag down a waitress to take my order and she seemed to have a permanent scowl on her face.. Beer was served unusually warm and fries came out soggy and cold and had to be sent back. Usually they have much better service.

The food was excellent; however, the server brought a bill for one amount where everything was 1/2 off. We thought it was a "special" (possibly Happy Hour) and gave her our card. A few minutes later, the bartender came with the receipt where they doubled the bill and charged the card for the increased amount. The issue is not the charge but the fact that my card was charged for an amount that was never authorized by me. I gave my card with a receipt that listed one total and my card was returned AND charged for twice that amount. The response was "you should've known your bill was incorrect". Unacceptable!!! The fact that the server had someone else bring the card and receipt back was further evidence that they knew they were wrong.

I'm giving a 2 star review because I just had my worst experience there ever with the elderly bartender lady. I sat and watched other people get there on taco Tuesday and eat while I waited for my tacos. I sat in my chair and waived my arms in the air and she would not look. My wife had to go up and ask about our order then it finally came and was not correct and ice cold. The elderly lady came over finally to argue she had it right. REALLY! MY FOOD IS ICE COLD AND YOU FORGOT TO BRING IT OUT AND TO COME OVER TO ARGUE. Geese where has customer service gone?

Place is run down and pretty dirty you would think that with all the time we had off during covid they would have stepped it up a notch and updated the place a little but instead they continue to serve food out of that filthy place I could just imagine the kitchen. I'm going to say less but don't get the coleslaw everytime I've been there I order the coleslaw and it's always rotten... 💡🤡🗽

My first time walking in this place today and will be my last I was in the pub for about 5 mins and walked out. I was with my son and best friend. We walked in and sat a a hitop. There were about 4 people at the bar and one other family sitting at a table. This place is not big at all. As we sat at the hitop looking at the football games on tv, I then look over to the bar where the gentleman was taken care of the bar and the lady who I never got names. But the lady stated “out of all the tables in here they had to sit there”. So I asked if there’s a problem with we’re we are sitting? She did even look my way and started talking to the kitchen and then with her fingers slung the close hanger pins down the string in the window. So my son and my friend and I left. As we were walking out the gentleman at the bar said he was sorry. She should be sorry and not working in an environment that she has to work with people. It is also a big learning experience for my son that people are not kind and have jobs just to get a pay check. Clearly she is not happy working there and maybe she should look into another job not working with people.

Hole in the wall used to he the best spot around. But after covid they got super cheap with their service and it has been upsetting. They no longer offer table service. They expect you to go up and order your food as if we were eating at taco bell and still expect a tip. On top of that they now close early. You drive up on a friday or saturday night and you now see nothing but available parking because of how empty it is. Years prior it was atrocious to find parking because they were super full. They now close earlier during the weekend which makes sense, why stay open for crickets? The staff is rather rude and condescending when asked if they will ever get table service again as if it annoys them and then unnecessarily repeat and push to order because the kitchen was closing early on a Saturday night as if it was our faults on a weekend night to show up at 9pm to eat. I mean, we are the customers and we are looking for a good decent place to spend our money at. I just feel as if though the establishment isnt worth it anymore and it is properly hanging by a thread. There is a reason why The Sand Bar at Cutler Bay is so full, it is as if Hole in the Wall has pushed their loyal customers over to them. I just wished they wouldnt have thought that Covid was a good excuse to just reduce the quality of The Hole in the Wall. Because it used to be a great local/neighborhood bar to go and relax with family and friends.

Worst experience ever as a former regular. Our bartender/waitress was terrible on her phone the entire time people were waiting for her to turn around to even acknowledge them...she was so rude and had no idea what she was doing she talked to the cooks for.15 mins straight instead of tending to her customers with empty drinks she had no idea how.the wings came or even what kinda beer they had ...thank god Mario showed up at the end great guy and service from him...I drove all the way from boca to have those wings i craved for that brian use to make so excellent.as a business owner unfortunately I'm embarrassed i.ever mentioned this place for great food ...how terrible the service and attitude from that server!! Very poor service. Had told my friend about it cause he never been here before. We both Ordered a Florida Philly with peppers onions and cheese. the mahi fish had no real season flavored on it. Although it says it was "blackened" didn't really taste like it even had pepper at all. I also had asked for chips instead of fries. They gave me fries the waitress response to this was "I know you ordered chips but the cook gave you fries and has been giving fries to everyone so far". Not so bad in the grand scheme of things but when you're paying over $10 for a sandwich you're hoping it'll at least taste like something. Overall Very disappointed.

Had 2 draft beers (Modelo) and a cheese burger and fries..the fries were greasy burnt and tons of salt .the burger was nasty and they never asked how I wanted it cooked..the burger was advertised as $9.99 ( the hole in the wall burger)..i got the check...it was $30. Unbelievable. Never again.

I ordered a HoleBurger hamburger to be picked up, they gave the order wrong, just bread and the ham, no tomato, no lettuce, no onion...nothing in it. I went back, so when I asked to get my money back, they said that they don't refund. The person was very nice and try to give me an free order, which I refused. The reason why I'm rating it 1 stars, is because even when the manager was very professional and tried hard to please me sincerely, they deserve just 1 star for poor service, but been fair for the manager 5 stars 👍

My first and my last time at this place.... we were sitting on a dirty table for about 25 minutes.... no one came to clean it or take an order or greet us... horrible service.... dont know how good or bad the food is... never got to taste it....

Ordered food from here asked for burger well done and they delivered uncooked food. The fries undercooked, the bread not cooked like they used too. The burger patty is raw.

My husband and I came here for lunch after church. We wanted to try something new, however we were very disappointed not only was the food bad, it was extremely expensive. 8 piece wings, hot dog with fries, and sandwich with one beer. The total came for 45.00!!! Let’s just say Wendy’s is a lot better than this. Another fact was the cooks weren’t wearing mask, the tables were sticky and lady bartender was not pleasant…Overall it was just an awful visit! Oh the fries were burn a long with wings…

I’m baffled by how this place has earned a 4.4-star rating. The wings were not only overcooked but also lacked any real flavor, leaving a lot to be desired. As for the chili cheese fries, they were quite disappointing; they tasted like they came straight from a can, lacking that hearty, homemade quality. Unfortunately, I wouldn't consider returning to this establishment again.

Why is it that nobody listens to the customer anymore? I asked for a hole burger with bacon crisp and it the bacon came out UNDER cooked. I didn't eat it! I asked to have the bacon taken off my tab.....(it's the principle of thing after all!) Then the server said that if he took the bacon off my bill it would "upset the whole system" and that he would just give me 2 bucks from his tips. I felt bad doing that since he works hard for his money as Donna Summer said....So I paid $22.08 for a burger, fries and a tea. And tipped the man. Then I got in my car and I started to think "hey, I work hard for my money too! And if I didn't come in there you wouldn't have a job!" And don't address me as "OK, boss" I am not your boss! And don't say "I got you!" You obviously don't "got me" or my food would have come to the table as I ordered it! If I am the customer and I am paying then please bring me my food as I ordered it! LISTEN TO THE CUSTOMER! I could have gone to 8 different "burger places" but I chose your establishment! I didn't choose wisely!

If you're gonna charge a $6 dollar "to go fee", you should at least tell clients when they order. Very shady... It's ridiculous. No wonder an itemized receipt was not given to me, and I had to ask for it. For that I just use a delivery service. Very dissapointed specially with how often we come to eat in.

When I walked into this place, I felt like I was in Shepherdsville Kentucky. The atmosphere was something out of the 1960s of 50s. I got waited on pretty fast but me and my friend on the other hand we had separate orders in the waitress that stood and looked at him as she gave me my order. The manager had to come up and asked me for my order and they didn’t know we were together there as friends I will never visit that place again and the chicken tacos nasty just gave you two not to be too mean.

I'm used to the original hole in the wall so this was our first time at this location. We noticed that a 'local' walked in and made a slick remark about us being in his usual seat. Everyone laughed but we still didn't get served. Everyone that came in after us got served immediately and my family and I were left unattended. We ordered but never got our food. We had to walk out and eat somewhere else nearby.

I love this place but man rude waitress are something else . I waited 15 minutes to even see a menu and on top of that once’s we got it and knew what we wanted , we got ignored by the lady . Man I really wanted go enjoy a burger and beer . I had to walk out and spend my money somewhere else . Drove to raw bar and grill to spend my money and tip the nice servers over there .
