I was craving Venezuelan "soul food" and this place delivered. The menu covers all cravings and the kitchen is literally spotless, super clean, everything is cooked in front of you and friendly people. Very grateful I found them.

The people who work here are so authentic in their character and cooking. Every time I go here it's a great experience, family friendly, and the empanadas are by far the best I've had in Miami.

When I arrived,it was literally at 9 am. The owners greeted me with the most kindness hello. Placed my order. They made my Cahapas (which were amazing). I asked for some Verde sauce, and she said it won't need it. I said I trust you know what you are saying." She was right. The flavor was so good. It's a must go back.

Really amazing food! The cazon empanadas were crunchy yet soft inside. The cazon was delicate and flavorful and unique because not many places have this type of empanada. This was a very lovely experience. La Prepago is a mom & pop authentic Venezuelan cuisine spot. We tried the arepa with chicken and carne asada. It was the best arepa I have had and freshly made too. The food is good here, not quite sure what style to call it though. Latin American/Colombian/Fusion/Small Plates? From burgers to dogs to burritos to ceviche, empanadas, arepas and tacos: they're all here, but with a twist. Finger lickin good! Perfect for late night munchies or anytime really. Good to go with friends who will share because you'll want to have a little taste of everything!! Some dishes are served on a green banana patacon (NOT plaintain), which is a more delicate taste and crunchier texture. The Techno music and red mood lighting are part of the vibe, modern and eclectic. The service is warm and friendly and willing to answer questions about the menu. They have to be, it's pretty unique! Definitely worth a try, good stuff!!

I went to pick up a burger and the woman owner decided to comment on the elections. She then continued to state racial comments about republicans. Stating Cuban’s are all on food stamps and crime is high due to them. Needless to say, I will not be returning here when I return to Miami. I understand different political views. However, it is unprofessional to bring up politics to someone you don’t know.

I loved the food here, but these people are very rude! i had mentioned to please put gloves on & they refused to wear gloves & swore to me that their hands were cleaned, after they touched money & other things. & now I am PROHIBITED to buy food from them. it’s very ridiculous. they need new owners one who knows restaurant policies & doesn't get upset about something they should’ve been doing, ESPECIALLY in a pandemic. if they get new owners im coming back. very ridiculous.

I'm sorry to say this place was a disappointment. We decided to go there since it had so many reviews but to be quiet honest, food is OVERPRICED.... Starting with Salchipapas... $9 for fries and 1 small hotdog, barely any served. Also ordered the Burgesa for $9 as well, the slice of tomato was thicker than the meat patty, which was lost inside the bun. Apparently the owners are the old couple working there, I truly appreciate that, I admire them, both were nice but to be quite honest, for what they charge, the food served should be better.

The experience was terrible. It was my first time and I won't be back. They're extremely thin, with almost no filling, very expensive for what little filling there is, they don't come with sauces like any Venezuelan one, they're greasy, and they don't even have napkins, which are made of very poor quality. I would never recommend them.
