Tucked away in the sun-drenched Miami Design District, Le Jardinier feels like stepping into a chic greenhouse where French precision meets Florida’s lush bounty. On a balmy afternoon during Miami Spice-when the city’s top spots dial up the accessibility without skimping on elegance-we snagged a table on the outdoor patio, surrounded by verdant greenery and the hum of creative energy. The space is a serene oasis: glossy green accents, retro curves, and futuristic lighting that make every corner Instagram-worthy, yet intimate enough for easy conversation. The $60 three-course Spice menu delivered in spades—proving high-end doesn’t have to break the bank. We kicked off with the crudo, a silky dream of finely diced fish flecked with microgreens, radishes, and carrot curls atop a velvety base, dotted with vibrant garnishes. Next, the burrata and green salad stole the show for its earthy sweetness - these starters screamed seasonality, with every element plated like edible art. For mains, the pork tenderloin and the pasta with mixed fungi were a revelation: both were a mix of savory and earthy that added a warmth that was perfect despite the summer heat. We paired it with a glass of white and red, expertly picked by our waiter. Portions were elegantly refined, but the flavors were bold and balanced, with sustainable proteins shining alongside fresh produce. Dessert capped the poetry with the caramel sabayon: their specialty and I can see why. We also opted for the key lime tart, a personal favorite. Miami Spice at Le Jardinier is a no-brainer entry to Michelin magic. It’s photogenic, thoughtful, and utterly delicious—ideal for a midday reset in the District. Five stars; we’ll chase the fall menu next.

Having had eaten at a ton of fine dining establishments this is the best dinner I’ve ever had. The service is good, the atmosphere is great, but the food is even better. Well deserved Michelin star the food is just amazing. Can’t recommend enough.

Loved our dining experience at Le Jardinier in Miami. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable, and the unique food preparation made all the difference. Be sure to ask for a kids’ menu if you have little ones. We visited on a Sunday afternoon and enjoyed a live singer. Can’t wait to go back!

Fantastic meal at Le Jardinier for my birthday! Best burrata I've ever had. The mango sorbet was so flavorful I couldn't believe it. Highly recommend Le Jardinier!

We were greeted with a smile and asked to sit on the comfortable outdoor couches, as we were a little early. Once we were brought in at our reserved time we were immediately greeted by our server and attended to by various servers throughout the meal. Never lacking in need to ask for refills as they were very attentive. The food was a delight visually and was delicious all around. We were there during Miami Spice so we enjoyed the 3-course meal specials.

Le Jardinier is definitely worth a visit. We enjoyed Le District Lunch and found the flavours worthy of their Michelin star. Great service and wine list too!

Everything was spectacular. The food really reflects their Michelin star status. Everything was to the point. I can't recommend enough the Aztec Garden drink, simply amazing. You have a full five course menu, or you can do 3 or 4 course, or a la carte. You have lots of options.

An absolute gem! A Michelin-starred experience at an unbeatable value. We went for Miami Spice and enjoyed an incredible three-course lunch for just $35. Every dish was beautifully presented, bursting with flavor, and showcased the creativity and precision you’d expect from a Michelin-star restaurant. The service was attentive without being overwhelming, and the atmosphere made the whole experience feel special. It’s rare to find this level of quality at such an accessible price point—Miami Spice makes it a must-try. Highly recommended!

What I didn't like when dining in this place was the dirty floors and dust on the windows, but the place felt clean. The food was very tasty, beautiful presentation of the combination of flavors were at a high level. Comfortable furniture, Service is good, we were satisfied and will definitely come back.

Went for lunch and had a wonderful time. While they have an extremely affordable pre fixe lunch menu, I opted for ala carte. Portion size was appropriate, taste was exquisite, and the whole time the staff was en point with timing and attentiveness

Came for a birthday celebration at the beginning of Miami Spice, seated at the bar. The bartenders provided great recommendations based on our tastes. The courses came out with a comfortable pace to enjoy both the delicious cuisine and company. The manager Sofia checked on us to ensure quality service and we had only glowing reviews to give! After sending pictures to friends, we made plans to return!

Le Jardinier in Miami is an unforgettable dining experience. Nestled in the Design District, it blends a modern garden-inspired atmosphere with vibrant, seasonal cuisine that highlights fresh ingredients in every dish. The presentation is stunning, flavors are refined yet approachable, and the service is warm and attentive. Perfect for a special night out or anyone looking to enjoy Michelin-star dining without pretension

Dining at Le Jardinier in Miami was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Every dish on the tasting menu was a true masterpiece — beautifully plated, perfectly balanced in flavor, and full of creativity. It’s clear that every ingredient was thoughtfully selected and prepared with care. The service was absolutely top-notch — attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm. The staff made us feel welcomed and well cared for, without ever being intrusive. Highlights of the evening included the cobia ceviche with chilled coconut-rosemary broth, a vibrant green risotto with wild mushrooms, and one of the most visually stunning desserts I’ve ever seen — as beautiful as it was delicious. No wonder they’ve been Michelin-recommended three years in a row. Highly recommend for a special night out in Miami.

What an amazing Easter brunch we had! Service food atmosphere are all impeccable. 3 course mea all artistically presented and cooked to perfection. This is my favorite brunch spot in Miami. Deserving the 1 Michelin star!

Freshest spot in midtown. Chef Christian displays a great deal of finesse and restraint in all of the dishes we tried. I started with Le Petit Croissant, sublime single malt libation with an actual micro croissant on top!! The dorada was so light yet powerful. What they did with the salmon skin was out this world. The chicken breast so juicy and tender and every single piece of vegetable had its own personality. The Pear Arlette is a clash of sensations. But the crown jewel was the gazpacho, an absolute smash of flavor (comparable to El Bulli's). Come try the lunch special! Well worth it!

My wife and I joined my cousin and his wife for dinner. The atmosphere was exceptional. The table side service was very good, Dimitri was our server. The only service issue related to food / wine delivery. We assumed these were kitchen / bar issues and not the server. At the first course only 3 of the 4 plates were served. We waited about 5 minutes before the final dish was delivered. Additionally, the wives had to ask twice about the wine before it was delivered. Beyond these issues, the meals, service, food presentation / description, and atmosphere were top notch. The hiccups were disappointing and not typical of a Michelin restaurant. However, it did not ruin our meal.

Everything about Le Jardinier is exceptional! The food and service is top notch. I have a bunch of food allergies and our server Marco made our experience a breeze. He was able to help me navigate the menu efficiently. We came to celebrate a graduation, and had a magical night. If you are in the area I highly recommend Le Jardinier.

My experience at this restaurant was excellent! The food is sensational and beautifully presented. The atmosphere is both cozy and elegant, creating the perfect atmosphere for a dinner for two or a get-together with friends. Manager Paula and the staff demonstrate genuine care for their customers, always attentive and helpful, which makes all the difference. I left delighted and already want to return soon!

Loved this beautiful spot. Decor and ambience are gorgeous... love the greenery and thoughtful details. The food is equally beautiful and the staff knows how to take care of you to a T. Be prepared to spend a little bit more, but the experience and satisfying meal will leave you in great spirits!

Everything was great. Burrata goes well with their fresh bread, crudo were good too. The winter season Risotto is a must. Very creative and tasty desserts. Would come again fosho.

The food is impeccable. Every dish had an ingredient that created something memorable. For example, As someone who doesn't typically like Farro, I was blown away by its creaminess. The confit mushrooms in the masala chicken were decadent. The hanger steak was like char broiled butta. The butterfly dessert was the best surprisingly followed by the chocolate pudding. All in all worth every nickel.

Le Jardinier in Miami offers a truly exquisite dining experience. I had the pleasure of trying their Miami Spice menu, which featured Salmon Tartare and Striped Seabass. From start to finish, every bite was a delight. The Salmon Tartare was incredibly fresh, with a perfect balance of flavors that highlighted the quality of the ingredients. The Striped Seabass was equally impressive, cooked to perfection with a tender texture and a beautiful, subtle seasoning that complemented the fish wonderfully. The ambiance of the restaurant is elegant yet inviting, making it a great spot for a special evening out.

Sunday brunch.. This is lovely place with very accommodating and helpful staff who went beyond for us ,as we sat outside and it was a little chilly, they noticed I was cold and brought me a blanket to keep warm. (That was a first for me !) Each dish that we enjoyed was prepared and delivered beautifully, and I might add delicious! Truly a great find and a place you don’t want to miss.!

The bad reviews are either haters or ignorant to the beauty of dining with quality. Of course there can be a bad experience here and there but this world isn’t perfect, however, our waitress was incredibly attentive to our needs. The staff knew exactly how we wanted to be treated, and the food? Spectacular, if only I could eat like this everyday. From the crispy beetroot salad to the savory risotto, everything was properly placed and seasoned. We were treated like royalty and I’m thankful that restaurants like these exist in the world. If you have the fortune of eating here, please do enjoy.

What an experience, from the food to the drinks and the service. The inside of the restaurant is beautiful but the outside does need some work. We had the miami spice menu, which Douglas guided us through with amazing knowledge. He also recommended amazing drinks. It was our anniversary and we had an amazing time from start to finish. They sent us bubbles and a treat for dessert for our anniversary and those are the details that matter. Will most definitely be back! Ask for Douglas, he was great! 1000/10 check this place out ASAP!

They definitely deserve 2 Michelin Stars, at least. It was one of the most amazing meals l had in a while. We have tried some of the Michelin reaturants in Orlando as well as a few in Miami, NY, and California. And Le Jardinier is on the top 5 of my favorite restaurants now. The food was not just beautiful. It was absolutely delicious. The flavors match so well, and it was a joy to taste every dish. We tried the set menu for lunch. In addition to the Sea bass cerviche, the steak, the salmon, and the passion tart and the chocolate ice cream dessert, we separately ordered the roasted beet salad Omg, it was amazing. The service and attention to detail we top notch.

A lovely restaurant in Miami design district. The interior design of the restaurant is beautiful and so is the presentation of the dishes. Everything was very good starting with warm bread to deserts. Lunch set is a great deal and very affordable for a michelin rated restaurant. Le Jardinier offers indoor and outdoor seating.

A truly stunning culinary experience. [Update: Le Jardinier was awarded One Michelin Star in the 2022 Florida Michelin Guide] The NYC location earned a Michelin Star in 2020. If you’ve never had a Michelin Star dining experience, you should book a reservation here now. I expect reservations will be hard to come by once the Miami guide comes out in 2022 and this location gets the Michelin Star(s) it deserves. What separates an exceptional restaurant like this one from a sea of “very good” restaurants is the ability to be consistently amazing at all times. When I arrived around 1pm, there were maybe ten tables with guests. I expected that — like anyone might have assumed during a pretty slow Sunday afternoon lunch service — that the food would be very good, but nothing to write home about. I was wrong. The dishes were brilliantly presented and tasted exceptional. Every bite made you literally crave the next. The wait staff was outstanding. Even the bill was eminently reasonable. In every manner, the restaurant’s attention to detail and execution were what one might have expected if Chef Alain Verzeroli himself prepared the dishes, during peak dinner service on a Saturday night, for a table of VIPs. Thank you to everyone at Le Jardinier for turning a uneventful Sunday afternoon into a memorable dining experience.

Totally blown away by the food here. This cute location in the design district is definitely worth the stop. Our server was super nice and attentive. She was fun to chat with throughout the night. More than anything I was very impressed with the food. We came for dinner and got the chef's menu and definitely worth it to explore your way through the menu. The food flavors were better than some Michelin star restaurants I've been to in New York. Highly recommend. Burrata was to die for, so smooth. Sauces paired with the salmon are delicious.

I went there for my birthday. I really enjoyed the experience. I did the reservation through open table. We had the Miami spice menu, which most of the stuff is not available to pick here as is seasonal. We had each different dishes s main courses. The chicken cilantro and the salmon, both very well, prepared to the right temperatures. Impeccable service and detail oriented. They picked up the reason. As noted on opentable, that it was for my birthday, but I did not mention anything at all while I was there, and at the end, they brought a special moose dessert for sharing, which was out of this world. No charge.

We enjoyed Easter brunch on the patio. We were sat immediately upon our arrival to a beautiful, cozy, and comfortable table. The ambiance was elegant and nature focused. The DJ was an excellent addition to the vibe. We had the prix fixe menu and started with the Snapper crudo which was so stunning; both for the eyes and the palate. We also enjoyed the Benedict and jumbo lump crab cakes which were executed to perfection. We finished the meal with what may be my new favorite dessert in Miami. It was so refreshing and made my taste buds dance in an euphoric state. Wow. The service was just as extraordinary as the culinary delight. The cocktails were unique and well balanced. I wasn’t sure about scotch with breakfast but of course I tried it anyway and I MUST SAY the le petite croissant sounded so interesting and it may have been my favorite cocktail. 12/10 would recommend. We are very excited to return to try to dinner menu. Hats off to the Chefs and attentive staff for making this experience one of the best I’ve had in Miami. Merci beaucoup!

This isn't your typical dining spot; it's an upscale restaurant perfect for celebrating special occasions. The Michelin star speaks volumes – expect dishes crafted with a chef's signature touch. The cocktails were exceptional, and the steak was cooked to perfection. The service was superb, exactly what you'd anticipate from a restaurant of this caliber.

Had reservations on a weird day when the streets surrounding the restaurant were closed. Ended up being an hour late but they still accommodated and the food was excellent. The service was top notch like you’d expect even offering me some caviar which wasn’t on the menu. 100% worth dealing with all that traffic, I seriously considered turning around and glad I didn’t.

Le Jardinier exceeded expectations with its Michelin-starred French cuisine in Miami's Design District. The tuna carpaccio was a standout, showcasing the restaurant's commitment to fresh, high-quality ingredients. The bavette, perfectly prepared, further emphasized their culinary expertise. The restaurant's ambiance strikes a balance between elegance and comfort, complementing the refined farm-to-table menu. Service was impeccable - attentive and knowledgeable staff offered valuable recommendations while ensuring a smooth dining experience. Le Jardinier's ability to deliver exceptional food in a welcoming atmosphere makes it a must-visit. I'm already looking forward to my next meal there.

Today I visited Le Jardinier, and I was impressed by the quality of the food and the service. This place deserves every one of its 5 stars. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm welcome and seated at a well-placed table with a lovely view. The atmosphere was elegant and cozy. The menu offered a wide variety of options, and every dish we tried was a delight. The ingredients were fresh, and the flavors were perfectly balanced. My favorite dish was the filet mignon, which was full of amazing flavors. The service was impeccable. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, providing excellent recommendations and ensuring our experience was memorable. As for the ambiance, the decor and background music created a relaxing atmosphere, perfect for a special dinner. In summary, Le Jardinier offers an exceptional culinary experience that combines delicious food, top-notch service, and a charming ambiance. I will definitely return and recommend it to friends and family.

Went for lunch during a brief vacation and it was wonderful. The restaurant was calm and the service outstanding. I loved all the recommendations. I chose not to do Miami spice and it was definitely worth every penny. Loved the lobster pasta, tuna carpaccio and recommended specialty cocktail.

Great food, cocktails and service! The fresh gluten free bread basket was a one of a kind addition. Nearly everything in the menu can be adapted to be gluten free with the exception of the pastas. We really enjoyed the butternut squash soup, salmon and Brussels sprouts. Will definitely plan to stop back by the next time we are in town; well worth the trip.

I went to Le Jardinier for Thanksgiving dinner with my family, and the experience was truly outstanding. Even though it had been raining heavily all day, the team somehow made it possible for us to keep our outdoor table, and we were truly impressed by how hard they worked to accommodate us. We are incredibly grateful for their effort. The food was refined and beautifully balanced. I’m very sensitive to salt, so I want to highlight how grateful I was that the dishes weren’t over-seasoned. The flavors were clean, fresh, and elegant. Thank you to the entire staff for being so accommodating with all our requests. A memorable Thanksgiving ♥️ We will definitely return!

My friend and I had a lovely evening at Le Jardinier and were fortunate to enjoy a preview of their Miami Spice menu. The ambiance is stunning, elegant, modern, and full of character. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel genuinely welcomed and taken care of. We tried a little bit of everything: the Margarita Spice cocktail (which had just the right kick), both starters, the Murray’s Burrata and the Fluke Crudo, and for our entrées, we had the Mushroom Ragu Conchiglie and the Pork Tenderloin. Each dish was beautifully presented and thoughtfully prepared. The service was excellent, the pacing of the meal was perfect, and we truly appreciated the overall experience. It’s the kind of place we’d definitely return to, earning a spot for special evenings out. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a refined dining experience in Miami.

Le Jardinier Miami delivered one of the top three dining experiences of my life! As both a gastronome and someone in the hospitality industry, I can confidently say this restaurant exceeded all expectations. Tucked away in the Design District, its secluded and intimate ambiance allows it to shine entirely on its own. The Pacifico Bass Crudo with orange and wasabi dressing and crisp vegetable relish was an unforgettable highlight, perfectly balanced in flavor and presentation. The Butterfly Dessert—a stunning combination of yuzu mousse, raspberry compote, and pistachio sablé—was the perfect finish to an extraordinary meal. Beyond the exceptional food, the service was truly next level. João, a seasoned server, provided top-tier hospitality, seamlessly guiding us through the menu with expert insights and impeccable finesse. Every detail was executed with precision, making this experience nothing short of perfection. Le Jardinier is a masterclass in fine dining, from its artistry in cuisine to its outstanding service. A must-visit for anyone seeking an elevated culinary experience in Miami!

Visited for Vantines day 2026. The curated menu was incredible. Each dish leaves you wanting more. Every bite sent your taste buds into another dimension. Flavors paired so well together. The halibut in champagne fondu cream sauce and caviar was the star of the show. I ordered the Michelin Star drink Chicha De Vie and I could not have enough. So delicate and sweet, a pleasure to sip on throughout the meal. The service was great but did not meet the expectations to pair with the meal and price. Dietary restrictions were provided weeks before and again before being served and unfortunately it was still missed. Quick to fix it but it should not have happened. The atmosphere was great, intimate yet entertaining, the quiet live music was a great touch and the interior design is very fun to look at.

La Jardiner is a charming spot in Miami, serving well-crafted dishes with layers of interesting flavors. The highlight of the lunch was the farro risotto with mushrooms, cooked to perfection and full of flavor. The passion fruit dessert, however, was overly sweet—the fruit’s citrus notes were lost in a caramel-like base. The coconut ice cream, on the other hand, was very well balanced, offering a refreshing finish to the meal. Service was attentive and efficient.

Just had a great lunch at Le Jardinier. The service is exceptional and the food was tasty. Its a relaxed environment outside with nice music, as well. We had a couple of cocktails and really enjoyed the unique ingredients. The bread basket was fresh out of the oven, gluten free, served with olive oil on the side, and came out before lunch- perfect 👌🏻. We were then given a couple of shot-sized portions of the amuse juice made from beets, ginger, and lemon- so refreshing. For entrees, we ordered the mushroom quiche, and the chicken with chicories. The quiche was fluffy and moist. It was good, just a tiny bit too salty for my taste. The chicken did not have much flavor, in my opinion, but it was cooked well and juicy. Overall, it was a nice experience so I would return to give it another shot.

This restaurant was amazing. The food was excellent, the service was perfection, and the atmosphere was exceptional. We took a car to the area and walked around the shopping area as well - it's a beautiful part of the area. The dessert was amazing. Reservations were helpful, but it seemed as though there was plenty of empty space for walk ins as well.

I wanted to try the flavour of this place that have 1 star michelin I was there at lunch time by myself Just few guests so atmosphere was good I chooses an outdoor table My experience? Let me say that was good but i didn’t totally click with the place Some details of my lunch: bread service was good ( home baked ) Server was good Food server was smiling and gave me plenty info of each plate My choices : A pear and beet salad : good portion , taste very simple and too sweety Loabster roll: too salty good portion - Macchiato : regular taste ( hey i am italian ) What i didn t like: 1) manager never show up at my table until the cery end but visit and speak fently with every other guests ….. not comfortable 2) coffe was served without a plate and the spoon was put direclty on the table 3) table base are rusty Check was as i was expected no complaint at all I am sorry that my paladar didn t receive a special taste lunch…..

Beautiful, lush green color scheme and landscape. Upscale, chic bar and delectable cocktails. The food is professionally plated with precision and flavors masterfully curated.

I visited Le Jardinier for the first time to take advantage of the miami spice menu. I had the burrata to start and salmon plate. The salmon was very good though the burrata salad did not taste fresh. The desert provided was also underwhelming. I know they have a seasonal menu so i am open to try more as i have heard it is very good. For the price i do believe the Miami Spice menu ($35 lunch) is good enough but would hope they would change the desert.

Nice place, well positioned, not so protagonist the menu that would like to be Mediterranean. Miami spice selection is very poor in terms of personality. Just the same well done

We had the set menu for brunch and the pricing was reasonable for a 1 star Michelin restaurant. Presentation was very pretty and the restaurant was very cool. However the food was quite average. It’s good to come and try just once.

The appetizer and main dish were delicious. The desert wasn’t that great, still tasted good. We had a reservation for 2:30pm, they were only able to get us a table by 3pm :(

Tucked away in the middle of Design District, the aesthetics is that of an upscale cafe... Smaller than expected but didn't feel tight but the outdoor dining is spacious. They have a Le District Lunch for $39 which offers a 3-courser with some options from their Lunch à la Carte menu. The Tuna Carpaccio was exquisite with the right blend of spice, the Cauliflower Velouté was medium-earthy and yummy, and the Beef Bavette was delicious. I was surprisingly full [might have been all that bread]. Drinks could be a little stronger. Marco - our server - was attentive + prompt. No complaints, will return.

My advice for this restaurant is that you either eat at home before going or swing by Wendys and get yourself a 4 for 4 because talk about small portions, microscopic, like I could've eaten 6 birria tacos after dinner, no joke but hey, it's fine dining at it’s best and every once in a while you have to just enjoy the experience and presentation of it all. Restaurant staff is delightful, welcoming and very professional and the place itself is kind small but vibes are immaculate. Walked in on happy hour time and my bff and I enjoyed the Bora Bora cocktail made of tequila and it was refreshing especially after that heat and humidity on our walk to restaurant. The yellowfin tuna add was a tease but undoubtedly fresh and delicious with quinoa adding some crunch to it. The Burrata, well, what's there to say...a good Burrata at the end of the day although portion was more adequate. The filet mignon was perfectly cooked medium with all its juices oozing still when served, mushrooms to die for and good flavored shallot on the side. Seabass was also fresh, cooked to perfection with a citrusy flavor I loved. Fennel just added a touch of freshness to it as well. Portions for these two were also skimpy but presentation again was superb just like the appetizers and dessert. The lemon cheesecake had to be the absolute best option because I could’ve had 4 of those. The strawberry gelee has more of passion fruit or guava after taste I’d guess when mixed with the citrus of the lemon cheesecake and chocolate chantilly that melts in your mouth. All I have to say is that even though my bff and I wanted to try everything on the menu so we opted for ordering both of each, I’d say skip the tiramisu all together and just indulge on this mouthwatering dessert. Tiramisu was ok, just deconstructed in a way but nothing memorable. There’s an automatic 20% gratuity charge added to bill which is to be expected from a fine dining establishment such as this one. Again, service, vibes and food are excellent but expect to walk out of there still hungry so keep that in mind.

Le Jardinier Miami is a cute little spot. The risotto was delicious, but the portion could’ve been a bit bigger. The brunch menu didn’t have many options, which was a little disappointing. However, the desserts were amazing, definitely the highlight of the meal! Overall, it’s a nice restaurant .

The place smells really bad! Like armpits. But the drinks were really good, expensive but that’s what you get in the design district. Forced tipping. The bartender was nice.

Food was excellent. One of the best meals of my existence and the chef is so passionate. Came out each time to explain the dish. Atmosphere, is aesthetic but still feels like I'm in a strip mall so wouldn't rate it too highly. Staff a bit clunky for a restaurant of this caliber. We had multiple times where we were looking for a server to refill our wine or water. Could be a bit more attentive. However for the tasting menu it was worth the price tag. Unique and diverse. 🌱

Sunday family brunch with great service. Our requests were accommodated perfectly, drinks were excellent, and the burrata and Butterfly dessert are must-tries. The brunch menu was good but not outstanding for a Michelin restaurant. Big thanks to Arturo for the attentive service.

Only two Michelin spots open at noon, Cote and this place. Plenty of seating, and the $44 weekday three-course lunch is a solid deal. It’s right below Robuchon, and parking in the Design District is $4 for the first four hours Asparagus Soup creamy and smooth Burrata Salad pretty bland Scallop fresh and sweet Butterfly looks stunning, with yuzu mousse and raspberry compote Beet Salad good Bavette ordered medium, wouldn’t recommend. Mushrooms were alright Mille Feuille pear, wine pastry, and goat cheese, really good Passionfruit Tart mango sorbet with passionfruit tart

I had been wanting to try Le Jardinier for a long time, expecting the level of excellence that typically comes with a Michelin star. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet those expectations. The service was mediocre and lacked attentiveness. The ambiance also felt off, there was no music for about 10–15 minutes, followed by music suddenly blasting at maximum volume, startling the entire room. While memorable, it certainly wasn’t in a good way. As for the food, it was decent but not worthy of Michelin standards, where execution, balance, and presentation should be impeccable. • The burrata was good. • The mushroom pasta was overly salty and unenjoyable. • We waited over an hour for the chicken, nearly canceling the order due to the delay. When it finally arrived, parts of it seemed undercooked and the presentation lacked refinement. • The roasted Brussels sprouts were overcooked. • The eggplant side was surprisingly tiny. • The caramel sabayon dessert was delicious, though its presentation could use improvement. Having dined at many renowned Michelin-starred restaurants, I genuinely don’t understand how this establishment holds one. While not a terrible experience overall, it fell far short of the standards I associate with Michelin dining.

We went to Le Jardinier to try the brunch. My friend and I ordered from the brunch menu while the guys chose from the regular menu. I had the avocado toast, then the eggs benedict, and for dessert the banana dish. The food was good, nothing extraordinary, but nicely presented. The atmosphere is pleasant and the service was nice and attentive. The guys also ordered an orange juice, which they didn’t really like, and the coffee could definitely be better. Overall, I came to try the place and it was worth it — for me, it’s a solid 3 out of 5.

I visited Le Jardin, a 3-Michelin-star restaurant in Miami, and honestly, I was disappointed. The food was good, but nothing extraordinary or memorable—definitely not what you would expect from a restaurant with this level of recognition. The atmosphere was average. What really took away from the experience was the service. Our server kept trying to take our plates away before we were done. She even removed my sister’s risotto plate before she had finished, and later tried to take away the dessert while we were still eating. Her attitude did not feel welcoming. On top of that, the prices are extremely high. They charged us for everything, even water, and automatically added a 20% service charge. For a place participating in Miami Spice, I don’t think the value justifies the cost.

Food was very good. I started with the Foie Gras & port mousse - excellent. My entrèe was the Wagyu Bavette and it was outstanding. The service was very disappointing. I am surprised that this restaurant was awarded a Michelin star with how under-trained they seemed to be. Our first server didn't seem well versed to answer questions about the menu. Half way thru the meal she never came back and I wasn't sure if the other person who replaced the first was a busser or sever. Also felt rushed through our meal. My complements are to the Executive Chef & team . Unfortunately that's where my complements end.

Service was really good, attentive and nice servers. Atmosphere was weird the music was really loud and did not match the vibe, radio pop songs playing as you're having an elegant meal? The green chairs are pretty but very dirty.. stains everywhere. As for the food I'll start with portions: I see people complain about it a lot but I felt full enough leaving. The food itself was very average which disappointed me.. Flavor profile was not strong a lot of things lacked depth and flavor it felt like it was all for show and they focused on presentation which in certain cases weren't even that great. People often say to not bother with Le Jardinier and just do L'Atelier, I feel like they were right! p.s: cocktails are not good + seems like I didn't take pictures of everything oops

In the shadows of the master Nestled below the name sake of the French master Joel rubicon's L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon is the upstart Le Jardinier. It's a contemporary take on classic French cuisine. The vibe is modern, whether it's the hip hop music, the black and white theme or the take on classic cuisine le jardinier attempts to redefine the french dining experience. From the beginning the amuse bouche is different. Not a creamy experience but a sweet then tart clenser. Different, but effective. The classic French baguette is served with olive oil in lieu of butter. Missed the mark there. My first course consisted of the mushroom veloute and farrow risotto. Two appetizers. Unfortunately they brought both at the same time so the contrast in flavors was difficult to appreciate. One a hit, one leaving a bit to desire. The risotto was strong and full of earthy flavors. The fried asparagus adding a perfect touch of texture and contrast. The museum veloute, while artistic missed the mark as it lacked seasoning and depth. Main course was the WAGYU BAVETTE AU JUS. While delicious the choice of protein was chewy. They sent our server home mid dinner as it was a slow night and that resulted in a drop in service quality. Prior to dessert (cheese tray) no one asked if we wanted any other drinks so my Sauternes arrived late and packed the sweetness associated with past dessert liquors. Overall, I'll stick with the big brother upstairs. Update. Had dinner again here on valentine day. Food was good. 12 Minute delay before any server came to me. But overall nice night. Loud atmosphere

The service and the staff very friendly and attentive. The food itself? A good 3-course meal of your choice, certainly with the intention of being haute cuisine... but worth the price? Overpriced for what it was for us, a bit symptomatic of the whole vibe of the Design District... I prefer other restaurants, whether they're mentioned in the Michelin or not.

I have no clue how they got a Michelin star? Service was horrible. Food was “good” but nothing WOW to get that recognition. Pasta too heavy, salad too bland and boring, carpaccio too salty, fish overcooked. I would say even a Michelin nod would be a stretch. Condensation on the plastic table for the drinks without coasters, plates and dirty dishes left behind. Server was not paying attention to anything (except when the bill come). Dessert was too sweet (pretty but that’s it). The bar is beyond beautiful but that’s it. We’re not coming back.

T

The food was delicious and presented exclusively - 5/5. The are a few points of criticism, starting with the beginning of our dining experience. The hostesses were nice, but we had to wait at the bar despite there being free tables in the area where we had reserved. It took 5 minutes before we were acknowledged and greeted by the bar, despite it being not very busy. When our table was ready, we had to move with our glasses ourselves and make sure a cocktail that was just being prepared would still be brought, which at a Michelin restaurant I would not have expected. The cocktails were presented on little black napkins that became so soaked from the condensed water that it became a bit messy. The bread we got served as an appetizer was charged for. Those things shouldn’t happen at a fine dining restaurant in this price segment. All in all, the food and presentation were delicious, the service smooth and our server very friendly and professional.

My recent dining experience had its highs and lows. The service was impeccable, deserving of a full 5 stars. The staff went above and beyond, especially the main attendant, who made up for the long wait caused by a missed meal order. However, the menu was underwhelming. We expected a tasting menu but found the offerings quite basic and few options. This was one of our least favorite Michelin star experiences globally. The plating was just okay, nothing special. Served first, was bread with 2 options (3 pieces total) and a small serving of olive oil. We then started with the tuna carpaccio, which was good but basic, and lacked the wow factor. It was melt in your mouth good but the flavoring was mild. My main course was the Brevette, ordered medium rare. It was tough to cut and chew, served with only two small pieces of broccolini and a few roasted onions. The other main course was a fish dish, which was simple and minimally flavored. The dessert was a mixed experience. The peach dish lacked flavor in the peach itself however the other parts of the dish were nice, but the strawberry dish was delightful. The ambiance and decor were nice, with ample seating both inside and outside. The inside seating area was smaller than expected, but cozy. One trivial note: for such a highly rated restaurant, the paper menus could be a bit more refined. Overall, more menu options would have greatly enhanced the experience.

We visited Le Jardinier for the Miami Spice dinner menu and had a mixed experience. The space feels like the unexpected lovechild of Sephora and Victoria’s Secret—bold, glossy, and overly stylized. Some tables are lit from directly overhead, creating an unflattering torch-under-the-chin effect. I ended up shifting my seat to avoid it. The Miami Spice menu offered three choices per course, which we appreciated, but there were so many upcharges that the pricing became unclear. Most dishes had caviar or truffle add-ons, and even the dessert—specifically the sabayon—had an extra charge. Unfortunately, it wasn’t a true sabayon. It had been pre-made, refrigerated, and sprayed on like canned whipped cream, which really missed the mark in both texture and temperature. The starters were the highlight—beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The main courses were just okay. The pasta wasn’t handmade, though well-cooked, and the mushrooms felt like a last-minute mix of kitchen scraps—our server couldn’t even tell us which varieties were used. For a Michelin-starred restaurant, that kind of inconsistency is surprising. Speaking of stars, they proudly display their Michelin accolades… next to the restroom. From a distance, it looked more like a fire safety plaque—definitely not the subtle elegance you’d expect. It felt like a try-hard moment in a space that should let the food speak for itself. We also noticed some questionable front-of-house presence. The general manager, sharply dressed, spent most of the evening at the bar glued to his iPad and engaged only with one out of five occupied tables. Meanwhile, a casually dressed man in a t-shirt and ripped jeans sat at the bar with his laptop and occasionally wandered behind it. Presumably the bar manager, but even if it was his day off, going behind the bar in that outfit did the place no favors. When you’re physically present at a restaurant of this caliber—especially in a working space—you still represent it, and that comes with a standard of appearance. On a positive note, our server José was wonderful—attentive, kind, and extremely knowledgeable. He was the highlight of our evening. We had a good time overall and I appreciate that Le Jardinier participates in Miami Spice. However, based on this visit, I wouldn’t bring clients here or recommend it for a special occasion. There’s potential—but it’s not quite living up to the stars on the wall.

Service was fantastic, food was ok, we had Miami Spice option plus bottle of wine. My husband had pork as entree which arrived mostly raw with very strong smoked flavor. Not sure how many people would find it tasty:) Salmon was great.

Some of the food was good, others not but wasn't anything out of this world. The cost for the quantity of food was a huge let down. There was 4 slices of a steak, more than half of it was missing and it came with a singular egg. The French toast was good, very fluffy, the avocado toast was delicious, the crab cakes were a let down. The atmosphere is really nice and the service was fair. I typically suggest trying everything once to form your own opinion, but I'm unsure if I'd heavily recommend trying this spot once.

I booked a table for two during Miami Spice. It was raining that day, but we weren’t seated in the main dining room even though it was completely empty. Instead, we were placed outside by the entrance — the humidity was unbearable and it was far from comfortable. Service was fine, food was just okay, but definitely not Michelin level. Overall, disappointing.

Hey its me : UltraSupremium with the rest of my take on the worst $100/head restaurants experience I have ever had. —— I just left off on the crab cake and thats enough about that; my S/O had the eggs benedict, I didnt try the salad but it looked kind of wack, she said it was ok but the lettuce was left in huge pieces and was difficult to eat. For a place called “THE GARDENER” the salad and veggie game is severely lacking, as is salt and acid; and if you are looking for some perfectly blanched unseasoned vegetables they didn’t even have that. Eggs benedict was a 7/10. Better than most i’ve had but not really a showstopper that could save the day. Sauce was solid. Dessert; I knew I shouldve gotten the chocolate tart; We both got the butterfly, I thought it was going to be a slam dunk. So disappointing ! Tasted a little on the stale side honestly, which is weird because I know they are popping these out of silicon molds from the freezer either before or after glazing. Maybe their fridge smells? Nevermind the texture of the mousse inside was lacking, the yuzu mousse was actually a curd overpowered by a second bland mousse i guess to balance the flavor? this was a miss, could have been a delicious and balanced pistachio yuzu mousse instead, maybe their idea was good too but bad execution pistachio sable was paper thin and swallowed up by the gross neon green glaze skip the white chocolate for this flavor combination. paper thin pistachio sable is impressive but a thicker and crunchier pistachio sable would have been perfect relief and could have saved the mousse if it was about a nickel thick. And they poured a little bit of a very very sour raspberry sauce on my s/o and absolutely drowned mine (two different portions again, bad form) the amount of powerful sauce i had ruined my dish. I wanted to like this one so bad… Service: We def got the sunday crew, explained some things well enough when asked but we got a whole dialogue on steak and eggs and eggs benedict (like we never had it before) and skipped explaining the other stuff, overall service was ok but i weird mix of laid back guys and overly uptight women. Whats the mood here because wait for the atmosphere Atmosphere: Interior is well decorated but not my style, I like the plants on the wall, but could have used more “le jardinier” The chairs were large, bulky and green, difficult to move around and sit in and awkwardly spaced from the table, and mine had a MASSIVE stain that looked like someone had previously #2’d but was likely red wine… i hope The bathroom wasnt michelin at all. Fixtures were oddly placed from a contractors standpoint, and it was messy. Loose soap container that was labeled but looked pretty lame, bad towels, toilet paper was inconveniently close and behind the toilet, just a loose uncovered roll, and the toilet was difficult to flush without contortion ( i flush at least twice for the benefit of the next persons nose) TMI but it had to be said. Blasting dance music at 1pm was a strange choice but I just chalked it up to Miami, Debussy be damned… I am not crazy, … it was really just that bad of a time

The food on the plates was so little, we had left this restaurant still hungry after a 3 course meal. Starter beet salad was flavorful but it had very little goat cheese underneath the plate to eat have a little with every bite of beet. The salad was also very little in itself. Sea bass was a very small piece of fish, looked like an appetizer to me. The fish was good but the bean purée didn’t go so well with it. Again the plate needed more food in it, at the very least more of the sides. Desert was very pretty, pink profiterole, very airy and light, also about 2 bites. Thankfully the focaccia basket was good so we pretty much ate that and asked for a second one. Highly overrated.

We were put next to bathrooms where there is a line and ppl watch you eat! Very awkward! My wife and I both had $75 3 course, there’s a $15 extra charge on certain items but it was never mentioned for the hanger steak which was a regular à la cart rather then the page after which has, lobster, filet and halibut! Server did say that the hanger was included in that $75 course but I was charged the extra $15 regardless! Not that $15 will make me richer but what you say and what you deliver is not honest! Food tasted good! Far far from Michelin! Water service slow! Lots lots of attention to detail missed! Lots more work need to get there! Thank you!

My first impression of Le Jardinier in the Miami Design District was underwhelming. Upon arrival, the hostess greeted me with an air of indifference that felt both unprofessional and out of place for a restaurant of this caliber. To my surprise, I was informed that a reservation was required, despite it being slightly past prime lunch hour with numerous empty tables in sight. Begrudgingly, I made a reservation for 15 minutes later—a less-than-ideal start to the experience. Unfortunately, waiting became a recurring theme throughout the meal. While the food itself lived up to the reputation of Le Jardinier, offering refined and beautifully presented dishes, the service fell far below expectations. Timing between courses was inconsistent, with prolonged and, at times, extraordinary wait times. Attempts to get the attention of the staff were often futile, as servers were either absent from the floor or disengaged, further exacerbating the frustrations of the experience. A simple lunch stretched into a two-hour ordeal due to the disorganized and inattentive service. For a restaurant of this stature, one expects not only exceptional cuisine but also seamless, polished service. Unfortunately, that standard was not met. While dinner service may offer a different experience, I find it hard to recommend Le Jardinier for those seeking a quick and timely lunch. Regrettably, I will not be returning.

The ambiance inside was pleasant, though the outdoor seating left much to be desired. The staff was warm and friendly, but their training seemed inconsistent. We were mistakenly given the wrong menus, and several listed items were unavailable. While the food presentation was visually appealing, the flavors and textures didn’t live up to the look. Portions from the Miami Spice menu were reasonable in size, but the overall lack of taste left us unsatisfied. I had read about the restaurant being associated with "Michelin" in some capacity, but certainly not for this year—based on our experience, it was far from Michelin quality.

I don’t understand the hype and great reviews for this restaurant. The appetizers were all very mediocre. Would rate them 5/10. If they costed $10 I still wouldn’t eat them. The only good thing was the pasta but also a very small portion. The food looks nice but doesn’t taste it. 2/10 would not recommend so many better places.

I was incredibly disappointed with my recent lunch experience at Le Jardinier. We went for their Miami Spice menu and ordered their pan-seared salmon as our entree. The salmon was visibly raw, and had to be replaced. Considering this restaurant's Michelin star status, I had much higher expectations.

Finally my first disappoint in a Michelin restaurant. From the beginning the service was terrible, I asked several times to put the sparkling in a bucket, they served the glass until the top, no mare if I asked to do not do it because the sparking was hot. With the wine was the same, serving a lot in the glass. The sommelier comes with the bottle, guessing about the wine, because didn’t take 2 minutes to check about it. The food was “ok” in my opinion not at the level of the Michelin star. We order: 2 tartare (meat and salmón), as a main a porchetta was very good and a lobster linguini, now start the show! We asked if they can bring Parmesan cheese, (I know fish pasta do not goes with Parmesan cheese) so… they take the plate and after 8 minutes, bring the desserts. I explained that we didn’t finish the main, so… the waitress explain us that miss understood and put the dish on a box to go! Ok, happens…. We are humans beens, please bring me my order we want to finish the main. Believe it or not! After the mistake, they unbox, put on a plate and bring us a cold pasta! All mixed with Parmesan on top. I complained… they said sorry and the manager comes! Asking what’s happened… We explained, and ask if I want the plate again, at this point I was extremely disappointed and I said no, the manager like playing with us, said I ll remove it from the check, but if you want you can keep it the cold and mix linguini and finish. As well trying to make us special because was removing the plate that we didn’t eat from the check. Disaster!!!! They bring the desserts. The sambayon dessert, was a foam with hard caramel and ice cream. Nice presentation, but not sambayon taste at all. The other dessert was the “flower” was something chewy filled with regular cream. Again as personal opinion the experience is forgettable and if they continue like that I don’t know how they keep the Michelin award

Summary: Good food but lots of issues with service and weak floor leadership. Just not good enough for a 1-star. Food: 4/5 | Service: 1/5 | Atmosphere: 2/5 Starting with the positive … the food was good. There were still issues (under-seasoned crudo, freezer-cold butter that didn’t spread, dessert too frozen to cut), relatively passable issues IF we didn’t have such a painful service experience. Once we finally got sat inside (an hour after the original reservation booking) timing issues continued: very long delays between courses (took 40 mins after we ordered just for bread to hit the table). While our servers were professional and apologetic, management repeatedly deflected responsibility to previous guests, the kitchen, or staff, rather than supporting the team and owning the situation. In transparency - the mgr did comp a round of drinks and gave us discount off the final bill for all the issues (so that was appreciated) and encouraged us to come back… but for the number of amazing other options in Miami, it’s not an experience we’d repeat.

I’ve tried Le Jardinier Miami three times now, hoping each visit would justify that Michelin star. Only one actually did. The other two felt like a parody of fine dining. Last visit, the food arrived cold. Not “slightly cooled” cold. I’m talking “did someone forget this in the walk-in?” cold. A couple of plates even had a weird smell, which is not exactly the aroma I expect from a supposedly top-tier kitchen. Service didn’t help. The servers seemed way more invested in chatting with each other than noticing anything happening at the tables. Eye contact was impossible. I ordered a dessert cocktail that simply never appeared. It vanished into the same dimension as all those “we’ll be right back” promises. And the menu. It basically feels copy-pasted all year. Same citric salad, same salmon or braised beef, same apple dessert, same flavor profiles repeated endlessly with minor tweaks. Seasonal creativity? Not here. They even run out of ingredients often enough that dishes get removed mid-service. Then there are the details that break the illusion completely. The green chairs look dirty at this point. Not “patina” dirty, just “please clean this” dirty. All in all, the place doesn’t feel like a Michelin-star restaurant anymore. I genuinely wanted to love it, and I gave it more chances than most places would ever get, but unless something changes, that was my last visit.

j
justin505k

The cocktails were mediocre at best — I’d give them a 5/10. The food was decent, but certainly not on par with anything close to Michelin-star quality. Considering the prices, it’s surprising that this spot frequently comes up as a recommendation in Miami. There are definitely better options in the area that offer superior food, drinks, and overall value.
