Our 1st time here, and this is such a cute place. Very well maintained and organized. The 3 things we didn't like was 1 the door to the kitchen it's gross and a place of food it shouldn't be that disgusting don't be cheap but a better door maybe stainless steel or the same door but better. 2 the employees eat, and we see it. Why in my past businesses did my employees wanna eat but in their area away from the public. 3. Our waitress never returned to see if we needed something else. She was too busy on the phone. The food was good. The door to the kitchen is still nasty and the waitress was sneezing and blowing her nose and never washed her hands.

I enjoy Rinconcito very much! The service is great every time I go. As you can see in the photo, their servings are huge. I’m seeing a photo of the interior of a restaurant on their maps listing. Just a heads up, it’s not the inside of their restaurant today. Maybe it was at one point, but don’t expect that. The current restaurant is very small. If you haven’t tried it yet, check it out soon!

The place is where you want to go for Miami comfort after a long day of travel. It feels like a place your people would have frequented growing up. The music was awesome; i wanted to get up and dance to the bachata and salsa in the background. All the staff were friendly and attentive to locals and the tourists like me. But the food! The food was amazing! If you are not too adventurous, try ropa viejo with the beans and rice. The portions are large, so if you are adventurous, order differently than a friend and share. And whatever you do, do not leave without Cuban coffee!

This lil Cafe was where we stopped for lunch while visiting the Kendall area. The food was great. I really enjoyed the plantain soup and also had a nice Cafe con Leche. I recommend this restaurant.

I cannot find a negative thing to say about Rinconcito (Dadeland); other than, I wished you were open 24hrs a day! The food is always good. And, though most of the employees are Spanish, I didn't find it difficult tonpñace my order. Besides, everyone understands White Rice and Beans...in almost any language.

I have been eating at this location for quite some time and I have never had a bad experience. Sure any place can have an off day or off moment however, so far its been gold for me. I thank all at Rinconsito Dadeland for all the great service they have rendered to me.

Delicious, big portions and fair price!

Neighborhood gem- a must try! An array of traditional Latin dishes, all tasty and plentiful at very reasonable prices. The ropa vieja whether beef or chicken superb. The soups and stews flavorful and authentic. The masitas, picadillo, grilled chicken, etc.,etc., all fantastic. This restaurant has been under new ownership for about a year and it is my understanding revamped and revived. Try it out for lunch, dinner, cantina or catering- you won’t regret it.

We brought a group of 25 people at noon and they were incredibly accommodating. The food and service were impeccable. It’s one of my favorite places for Cuban food in the Dadeland area.

I had the best mariquitas of my life here! Crispy and delicious, served with a sauce I did not recognize as mojo, but super tasty! Medianoche was good too, very generous portions. Loved it!

We had dinner Saturday evening based on recommendations from the Marriott where we were staying. My wife ordered the Vaca Frita and I had the Arroz con Camarones. Both meals were excellent as was the service. We went back for breakfast the next morning and were equally pleased.

It was a very cozy atmosphere and the waitstaff was polite and made sure our beverages were consistently filled. The food we were served was very fresh and I felt gray after eating it, it was a good balance leaving me feeling full but not uncomfortably so. Overall I'd recommend this restaurant due it being an intimate environment yet a very quick place to eat. I could see myself spending a half hour to to an hour and a half easily

Rinconcito dadeland is absolutely fantastic! The food is flavorful and the service is spectacular. 2 people could eat from one meal at this place! My go-to is the Pollo a la plancha aka grilled chicken. Sounds boring I know, but let me tell you the flavors are transformative. I also frequent the pure de malanga. Just recently I tried the carne con papa and it almost made me cry because it reminded me of my grandma’s. Fantastico Rinconcito de Dadeland! *chefs kiss* Muchas gracias!

The food and coffee here were great. This place opens at 7, earlier than most other spots near here, so I could stop in on my way to the office for breakfast and coffee. The staff, especially Celvira, were super friendly and made me feel like a regular after only a few visits, which is very nice when traveling for work.

Was interested in this place every time I walked by it so I decided to walk in. Servers were very friendly, and their daily specials are so good! I went on a Friday and tried their Ajiaco. It came with toast and I ordered a cafe con leche with it. Everything was DELICIOUS! if I’m ever walking by again, for sure coming back. Perhaps with friends next time!

Unbelievably great Cuban food. Prices were exceptional. Location is quaint and quiet. Need to use valet parking or expect to be towed if you park across the street in the empty Publix parking lot - we were.

The food is great but delivery takes forever. Ive been waiting an hour. I live in the Dadeland area. When you call to check on your order they are not helpful at all. All they tel you is “Yes, all the deliveries are out. Your order is almost there”

We were here yesterday early in the evening (3 people). Food was good, service was fast and friendly, and was reasonably priced. I'd never had a Choripan sandwich before and enjoyed it a lot.

A bit slow and tired, but the fried pork chunks were delicious.

Great food and service! Came here for dinner and had the Pichon Especial. It was delicious and decided to come back the next morning for some Empanadas for breakfast. It's conveniently located next to the Courtyard Marriott. The waitress was courteous and provided some good recommendations.

The food is always very good. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because some of the table surfaces are pretty beat up. I did not want to sit at one because of the way it looked (as nobody wants to see that when they are eating) so we moved to a better table, but the service and food was and is always great. Parking is via the hotel vallet service on the left side of the building and the cashier will validate so remember to ask. Do not park in public parking as you will be towed.

My wife and I really enjoy this little spot that is tucked away among the skyscrapers in Miami. We had breakfast there twice, while my sister and her husband seem to eat there constantly for almost a week. The food is authentic, extremely affordable, and served with a smile. The portions are very generous. mind you it's nothing fancy, it's just a little tucked-away spot, but if you're in the area stop by for at least breakfast or maybe lunch.

I work in the area. The food is ok, nothing special. Employees could be friendlier and respectful. Today I was bumped waiting in line as they knowingly took someone else ahead of me, a regular. That only happens once to me. Won’t be back. Can’t wait for RUBEN’S to reopen in the Falls area!

The food was very good but the they really need to work on the treatment to the costumer, also learn how and when serve each plate and drink. Overall, it wasn't that bad. They served beer with a glass of ice.. New trend I think.. Lol.

We just ordered from there they left out our soda order. The Maduros.were not well cooked.we spent 65 for 3 steak sandwiches and two meals. I feel ripped off.

The food is cooked well and has plenty of flavor. However, be careful. The reason for my rating is because I ordered a Churrasco Steak labeled as Outside Skirt Steak on the menu. What they are serving as Outside Skirt steak is actually Bottom Sirloin Flap meat which looks similar but is nowhere near the same taste and is much cheaper. I feel misled.

Food meh sometimes is well season and other time is cold. Service. Lord the lady with blond hair spends more time talking to the cops then focusing food. While the girl with lightish brown hair with the short pony tail does everything. Atmosphere most of the time like right now I'm here is been empty at most 2 tables of 2.

Terrible service, loud employees! I sat and the waitress was cleaning a table next to mine and sprayed the cleaner all over me😩 I should've left but I wanted a calm Saturday morning breakfast. That did not happen! I asked for water with no ice, they brought me water with ice 2X, they took back then no water at all. They brought me the cortadito with no spoon to add sugar, they brought me the food with no utensils. All the guests had to listen to the cooks & waitresses talking very loud about all their business. The guy next to me did not speak Spanish & of course non of the employees spoke English so they kind of ignored him. He kept waving them down until I intervened and told them to help the guy. I've visited several Rinconcito Latinos while working & driving around Miami but I will NEVER come back to this one.

Anyway they need to step it up. Yes, I could’ve thrown a fit but I wasn’t about to lose my appetite over some lack of attention. Idk, whatever. I didn’t tip the chick. Better see this review and clean up your act ASAP.

Food is alright. But the employees pissed me off when they turned off the lights and locked the doors to get me to leave two minutes after getting my order. Literally. The restaurant wasn't scheduled to close until an hour and a half later. Apparently these folks wanted to go home.

Have been ordering from this place every week with my co-workers for 3-4 months which generally includes additional meals to take home. Today ordered 2 ropa veja meals w rice, black beans and plantains and 1 order of chuletas de Puerto a la criolla w rice, black beans and plantains. Both ropa meals DID NOT come with rice...called and advised restaurant and they came back w 2 servings of rice along with another bill for $8 which included a second delivery charge...we spend on average of $50-$70 a week ordering from here...NEEDLESS TO SAY WE WILL NOT BE ORDERING AGAIN AND THEY HAVE LOST 3 CUSTOMERS

My order was horrible! The white rice smell like fish, the black beans had no taste, and the cream of malanga, I had to throwaway because it had grease on top. Worst experience ever! $37 down the drain! ☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️

Went there for takeout and as I'm paying for my food I see a cockroach rummaging the outside of the heater box where they keep the pastelitos and empanadas, trying to get in. I can't imagine what the kitchen must be like. Staying the hell away from this place now.

We just arrived in Miami - family of 3 with a kid so we decide to stay in and order food. We found this place online and called and I'm still in shock at how rude the guy on the phone was to us!!! He put us on hold and then hung up on us 3minutes later, we called back (just in case it was accident) : My husband: you hang up on me Guy : yes we are busy WHAT DO U WANT? At the point my eyes are wide looking at my husband... my husband says never mind... Don't get disrespected! There are many great restaurants in Miami!!!-

Ordered the churrasco parilla and they gave me palomilla. The manager argued about it but it's definitely palomilla based on taste and texture. Going to dispute the charge with the CC. Be careful

Food is not good. The chicken is always dry, the rice tastes like it was made days before and the churrasco is never cooked properly. The place is also dirty.

First waitress didn't listen to me at all when I ordered. Brought me vaca frita when I asked for vaca frita de pollo. Then they gave me a chicken breast just cut up. Never asked how things were. Oh did I mention we were the only customers in the restaurant. Also I ordered a soup with dinner which same out with my dinner.. We had to flag the waitress over to get our bill after waiting 10 minutes after being done. Waitress seemed like she didn't care at all. We won't be going back.

Awful service. First incident- I was ordering takeout for my family. After the phone was answered I was placed on hold for 5 minutes, then the phone was hanged up. I then called back immediately, when the phone was answered I informed the associate that I was waiting and the phone was hanged up. He replied “yeah we are busy, what do you want”. I then told him to disregard the call. Second incident- I decided to give them a second chance. I called to pick up. I arrived 5 minutes after I placed the order. The hostess looked very unfriendly when I entered. They didn’t even have a record of my order. I left without placing my order again.

This is the worst Rinconcito ever! We ordered food for delivery and the order was completely wrong. I ordered white rice and black beans and I received moros which were horrible. My daughter ordered a milanesa de pollo and got a plain bistec de pollo that had absolutely no seasoning. The vaca frita was not only terrible tasting but not well cooked and had white rice mixed in it which looks like they threw someone’s leftovers in the container. The mongo had a very weird taste too. What a bad experience! We will never order from there again.

We have ordered from this place twice since we live nearby. The first time we ordered, the food was horrible, it had no seasoning and my husband's order was wrong. We go to other Rinconcito restaurants so we figured we would give it a 2nd try. Once again we were highly disappointed. The mariquitas (plantain chips) are stale. The 2 churrascos we ordered taste like "chancleta" its so rubbery. They are not seasoned and not properly cooked to desired temperature. The palomilla looks like it was just tossed on the flat grill for 30 seconds on each side. Its rubbery and has no taste. The moro is unseasoned and so are the black beans. I should have kept the $60 and made some sandwiches at home. That would've been a better dinner than the trash we had. Needless to say we will not be ordering from here again.

The food actually smelled rancid. I ordered their especial sandwich and the quality of meat was a gross deep grey and it was missing ingredients. The moros I had was inedible due to the smell. Very disappointing, I've decided to pay extra at sergios so as not to waste $30.

Management truly affects how the place is run and as of late, it’s been awful. I placed an order last week with a particularly slow employee who somehow managed to forget part of it. When I called back, I was told the manager was taking “a walk” and that there was no one to assist me, even when I provided the employee’s name and my order numbe. I left my information expecting a call back from the manager and I’m still waiting. With so many other places to order around Dadeland, I highly recommend you avoid ordering from here.

I ordered a vegetable soup from here as well as a chicken soup and chicken ceasar salad. The vegetables soup arrived uncooked and frozen in the middle. When i called to tell them, the guy who answered the phone said he had to ask the chef and will let me know. Very bad experience. Seems they microwave their food instead of freshly making it. Will not be returning for sure

I work in the dadeland area and food in this area is usually very good and fast unfortunately this restaurant is not good at all. I ordered a Fricase de pollo and they brought me a chicken soup with a rice and beans and they took an hour and 20 mints to deliver to my office i which is only 5 mints away. I called the and spoke with the manager and he said there's nothing he can do. I won't be ordering from this place ever again. On top everything the soup I got was bland.

I've been to almost all Rinconcito restaurants, and I have to agree this one is the worst. I tried ordering an order for pick up and I had a hankering to eat breakfast instead of lunch. They tried to charge me extra just because I was ordering breakfast. which I believe its a lot easier to make. Very bad service and this announcement is not mentioned on their website

Just ordered delivery from there, waited 2 hours just for me to end up calling them to be told they had it as pick up and not delivery. Then proceeded to tell me to come pick it up now since they are about to close! No apologies from them at all. I used to be a regular there since it's so close to my home, I'd rather go somewhere with better service now

OLD FOOD!!!!! Very disappointed with this place and its customer service. It MUST be under new management. We have ordered for years. The old manager was always making sure that you were happy with your order. We bought a meal for delivery and the desert was spoiled. We called to let them know, not asking for money, but a replacement. Lina said she would speak to the manager. NOTHING happened. We went to order again and asked what the manager said, and they hadn't even bothered to relay the message. VERY RUDE on the phone with us over a stupid desert. I have never heard of a place willing to lose customers over such petty stuff. Obviously they DO NOT CARE about their customer satisfaction. They lost two loyal customers. To make matters worse their prices have increased and quality of food steadily declining. They are selling old, nasty food for higher prices. SAVE YOUR MONEY and go somewhere else!

We had requested the weekly food delivery service last week and were ok with the food. My daughter and her husband also requested the service. Upon renewing the service for this week, they said their standard delivery price was for a 2 miles radius and they needed to increase another $5. It’s about the principle……. We are 1.9 miles away. They now lost our business and my daughter and son law’s business as well. The food is not worth it and that’s just not good business ethics.

Dont do it. Aweful quality. Ordered their full sized "churrasco" medium term and I cant figure out what kind of meat I received. 100% certain it was not churrasco and more like a thin palomilla that cant be cooked medium. Paid almost 40$ for the order with an extra side. Never again!

We have lived in the building and used to love this place. It seems like they changed owners a few months ago and everything changed. We waited a few months to let them figure out the change, but ordered again today and it is still awful. The worst part is their service, even for takeout. Most of them don’t feel like they want to work there; you tell them thank you and don’t even respond. The food has downgraded tremendously, their Moro rice seems like it’s days old from what they couldn’t sell. Their meats are cooked horribly with their onions. They used to be amazing, it’s a shame what they’ve become. I hope someone buys them out and changes them back to good.

Worst Cuban sandwich I ever had. All bread with barely any ham or pork and stale bread. Called to let them know and all they said was they would tell the kitchen. No refund option or anything. Garbage spot

I ordered arroz con pollo from menu it was listed for $14.98 my brother also ordered something, bill came at $17.98 for these plates whe I complained to waitress she said she only works there that system has it at $17.98 also service charge of 15% was included and she didn’t want to remove it what was worse it’s that the chicken was not cooked enough and it was hard , we’re never going back to this place horrible!

Worst place to eat in all of Dadeland. The manager is absolutely terrible and doesn’t deserve a job that involves talking to guest. Like other reviews on here when I told him that I wasn’t happy with my food he was unwilling to help. I usually order food for me and my wife from here and although we never happy we continue to give them optimal opportunities.... but today was the last straw! Please do your a favor and don’t waste your time nor money at this establishment. And for the owners do something about you’re manager he is extremely disrespectful and unwilling to serve guest.

I ordered food to go it was not pleasant. Everything was extremely dry and if felt like I was eating old food. Specially being early in the morning their food should be fresh and it felt like they just used it from the night before. Not very happy with his new location and the parking even though they say it's valet parking it's not valet parking you still have to pay for the parking. I informed the front desk and they had told me that it doesn't work that way so their advertisement is incorrect as well.

Unacceptable that the online order was posted 15 minutes before I came and it wasn't ready yet! It was only three table with two of them already served! I had to wait 25 minutes more before I got my order! The lady who accept the order didn't send it to a kitchen, that's what happened! It's so irresponsible! And kitchen people wasn't even in rush to cook my order - opposite, they where to slow! I don't recommend this place or I do recommend this people who worked today to find another job! I'm disappointed!

Don’t deserve not even a one star the food is terrible they used to be good but not anymore now prices are higher and the food is worse. I order a steak (Riñonada) and the steak was burned and dry I just couldn’t believe how could they deliver something so burned. I will never ordered from them again. Don’t waste your money on this place you will not be happy. Horrible 😣

The food is the worst quality food. Chicken smells and always hard and raw when they serve it. Black beans I ordered has the biggest piece of onion inside it and also not cooked. My husband ordered chicken and it smells so bad that he couldn't even eat it. The waiters are very unprofessional and they don't say one world to you to even apologize for bringing the food late with delays. The waitress who served us was giving me an attitude just because my chek jan was raw thena I asked her to take it back and then she bring me the food by the time my rice was cold and I asked her to change it and she gave me the look. Overall horrible experience and the worst quality of material they use. Don't trust them. The chickens are full of hormones that's why it didn't s never cooked.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM THE TWO LADIES THAT WORK THE COUNTER "ALEJANDRA" ! DO NOT EAT THERE ! Both ladies at the front counter refused giving me their names after taking my debit card 2 times over the phone and their system having system errors and was not printing the receipt but I still was seeing the charges in my end out of.my account. Alejandra charged my card 2 times and when I told her I had the charge on my side she denied sending me food after charging my card 2 times over the phone and simply hung up on me as she was in a rush. I had to get up and drive to the store and show them and stem seeing the charges in my account they still said it was not true because the receipt never came out and declined me the food again. Now I have 2 charges to my account (which are on my statement) and still no food. The drivers that deliver to me so much know me by name and ended up seeing me there and paying for my meal and the charges were never declined or stopped and went through. Never going back again. Alejandra called me a liar to my face saying I never had money in my account in the first place when I have the charges from the restaurant lol. Lost a long term good paying customer over a pan con bistec and no customer service. Why would I call for delivery and then drive to show you the charges in my account just to steal a 10 dollar sandwich?

Wish I could give this place no stars at all and a good inspection from the safety everyone who orders from here deserve. My mother order a shake and a sandwich and once my grandmother tried it the shake was rotten ROTTEN because we all taste it and smell it, once my mom called very nicely to say that she wasn’t calling for the money but to let them know that the shake she had picked up was rotten they said look we are about to close and the shake wasn’t rotten that’s the way it’s supposed to taste. My mom let it go but honestly I called them back and I do not like to treat people bad and I try to be as understanding as a good daughter of God but this lady that answer had the guts to just say yea yea In Spanish in a laughing way when I told her the way she had answer my mom call was not professional and that at no given point they had offer an apology or he money back and that they were treating with peoples safety and stomach health, once I saw she acting like she could care less for what I was saying I said I will make sure the owner knows about this she yet answered we will be waiting for you here. I will be saving my time he is probably part of this disgusting restaurant rotten food joke, that everyone should stay away from. I am all for errors and making it up but not selling rotten food and then not even apologizing for it. Disgusting. Stay away. Do not order.

I have given this place a lot of opportunity to fix things ! Today is my last day ordering food from here… “disgusting” So upset I have given hundreds of dollars to this owner and treated like dirt .. the picture tells everything, he didn’t even call me to apologize! The most disgusting mofongo I’ve had in my life. Watery, they mixed green plantains with maduros. I didnt even know what it was. Yuk. I spend $40 bucks in garbage. Had to throw it away.

I always come here to eat with my boyfriend because their vaca frita is our favorite & we live right behind the mall. I usually pick up the food myself but since it was raining I decided to order thru uber. When I get my food a whole vaca frita is missing. I call the restaurant & tell the man who answered the phone what happened. He assures me that BOTH vacas were made & they were BOTH sold. I ask him, since I already paid for it if they can just make another one & my boyfriend will go pick it up & the man straight up said no. Now, im not tryna be a karen but im a server at a restaurant in South mia & i dont understand why he said no. Straight up no. I dont understand whats so hard about remaking something a customer that paid for didn't receive? Because if they really made it, both vacas would be in the bag, correct? Together bc they're the same item. The bag was so tightly tied we had to break it on the side. & also, if you did make it like you said. Why wasn't it written on the receipt you gave us? Whoever wrote the receipt & stapled it to the bag only wrote 1 vaca frita with maduro & side salad. I dont understand what was so hard about remaking, when I know you guys aren't that busy, & any other restaurant would do it? I've never heard any of my managers ever tell a customer "no we made it both all you can do is refund your money" when someone is willing to go pick it up after ordering delivery. and to be honest it was enough to not make me wanna order from you guys again. Yall really tried the bare minimum to fix an easy problem. You could've done more than just tell me "refund your money" when you messed up & thats NOT what I wanted.

Ordered This restaurant today and had a horrible experience. The steak was cooked terribly. The french fries were not included. Also ordered a soup that I was very dissatisfied with. Spoke to the manager and apparently they are not responsible for providing adequate food portions or properly cooked meals, I would not return

I ordered a pastelito con queso and when i bit into it, the bottom was an hard as a rock! who knows how long that pastry was sitting in that pastry holder. They say their pastelitos are freshly made but i beg to differ. I have had so many nasty experiences at this rinconcito, I honestly do not think I would buy anything from here again. It sucks because I work in the building and it is very convenient but their food quality is terrible. Management should step it up and do better. your food quality is trash!

An honest review. Café con leche does not taste good. It will either have a burnt taste, made with coffee that was already made, and/or milk that was already steamed and has been left out. I asked for the coffee to be remade and, not to my surprise, it came with an attitude. The pastelitos with cheese, or guava and cheese are lacking filling. PSA: it’s okay to report poor customer service, poor quality food, and exorbitant prices.
