Lovely dive bar! Bartender was attentive and friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. Only going to be in town for two days but will be back before I leave.
Another top dive bar in South Beach. Worth a visit, reasonable prices and top chicken wings aswell as dirty chilli cheese fries. Plenty of sport to watch and ice cold beers. Decent juke box and top class service, the ladies who serve behind the bar work there socks off.
Great dive bar and bartender. Any bar where the bartenders partner walks in with the cutest dog in the world is ok with me. The tacos and street corn were total fire 100 % recommend. Definitely not fancy, but neither are we!!!
One of the nicest sports bar I have been too. We went there to watch Manchester United game and they accommodated our request to screen it. Ollie was super amazing and she was so sweet. The food was amazing too! I am surely coming back.
Great blue collar bar for sports or day drinking! No food this time but, I’ll be back and let you know.
Great bar. Vanessa is the BEST . Excellent bar food . Lot's of tv's. About $ 30.00 for French dip and modela on tap
Awesome bar to go get affordable food and drinks! Service was great and was a nice mix-up from the typical Miami Beach bar.
Ted's is an institution. Been there forever, cleaner than it was twenty years ago, but still a dirty dive bar. Love it, and love the eclectic mix of people it draws.
Pamela was an awesome person and knew when the next beverage was needed! Great convo and experience!
If you’re on south beach, more specifically sofi, south of 5th street, and you’re in need of a hole in the wall with cold drinks and hot food and sports on tv, this is exactly that spot. That’s why this place has outlasted virtually all of the neighboring establishments for over 40 years.
Great place to grab a couple of drinks, meet we old friends great drinks the the bartenders are awesome, friendly, music is grea what can i said is a great neighborhood bar t
Very cool hideaway. Awesome staff, crowd is from every background and part of the country. My companions and I had a great time on a random Wednesday
I just discovered tej dish season and I will be back to South Beach just about every year Ted's food is awesome I love that big ol Burger they got the atmosphere the people that's all cool stuff
Nice hole in the wall bar. Wonderful service and cozy interior. Definitely feels like a local place to just chill.
Ted's has a great local vibe. The atmosphere is one of cool dive bar. I enjoy the great prices, and awesome bartenders
Nice people and a nice selection of beverages The bartending was really nice and she was quick with our order A big plus is that it had the right prices especially compared to the surrounding places and it's 50 yards from the beach
Classic Miami Beach dive. Fair prices. Great staff. Fun, and an ideal late night spot or place to watch a game.
Been coming here for over 6 years. As Dive as it gets, local spot. Late Night food, cheap drinks, good times.
Hole on the wall bar on South Beach. Food and drinks at reasonable prices, way under the tourist places. Its a townie bar for the locals. A must for SB
Great place to watch sports without having to worry about your bank account, especially in this area. Great staff and friendly service with solid drink specials 🧔👍.
Nice low key bar. Great service and lots of choice. Beach friendly with no frills.
Very bad server bartender not so nice little rude had to waited 45 minutes for her to ask me if I need another beer, you need genuine staff
Great vibes, good selection of beer and lovely staff! Really nice to come into a female led bar as a queer woman, made us feel really comfortable ❤️
Ted's is the best kept secret of South Beach and the best dive bar ever. Great service and food as well. Kudos to the magnificent Ollie.
I'm glad y'all responded because otherwise I would have never seen my 1 star review. I have no idea how it happened. I'm guessing it just got hit in my pocket. I had a great time! No complaints and a very classy way to respond what looked like negative criticism.
Classic dive bar with pool table right off Ocean. Been coming here for MANY years and it always hits the spot. Waitresses are apathetic, look bored & are on the verge of rude but I guess it fits? In any case, came in recently & spent a great afternoon drinking, listening to music (you gotta pay the "juke box" or else they'll just show sports games. blech!) & playing pool. Super fun after a morning spent tanning & swimming.
Very rad low key dive bar. Great staff. Good bar eats. Nice happy hour. Good beer selection. Low key down to earth crowd. Great place to grab a cold one, eat some bar food and play some pool and just get away from the douchey south beach type bars.
Beach classic. Went yesterday, and had not been in over 20 years. Nothing has changed (except some big screen tvs). Perfect sobe dive bar. Always has been one of the best spots for locals (along with Lost Weekend).
Great little pub. We walked in by accident on the way back to the hotel. Prices are reasonable and staff is lovely. Smoking is allowed inside (but there was only another 4 people then in) so didn't bother us much.
On a business trip coming from London I wanted to find a bar that was less touristy and I found it. This place is fantastic, really nice staff, cheap beers, decent food, sports on tv and a great atmosphere. If I'm ever in the city again I'll absolutely go back. Recommended.
My boyfriend and I were stuck in Miami at the end of our 10 day cruise vaca after Spirit Airlines cancelled our flight with no notice. We we’re looking for a cozy, non tourist hole in the wall to relax for about 6 hours, I’m from Jersey and this place felt like home. We found this place right on google, and the bar tender Ollie made us comfortable and was very friendly. If you’re looking for a non-tourist place to chill for a little cheaper, this is the place.
I’ve been coming here over ten years when I’m in the area visiting. One thing you certainly notice when walking into Ted’s are all the bartenders are beautiful ladies, friendly smiles full of hospitality. Ted’s is mostly a local hangout, after their long stressful days at work, they come cut loose and un-whine. A diverse crowd from all walks of life; not just the hospitality industry. If you want to mingle with the local, make new friends, this the place to be. This Pub is not a dead Pub/Bar like the rest I’ve seen across South Beach it's alive pub/bar always full of actions, peoples are full of energy no matter what time it is. Besides their friendly atmosphere, if you’re a pool hustler, I’d say put your game hat on, they’ll always be a player at Ted's ready for a challenge for a game of pool. Ted’s has many TV, playing all sort of sports channels, so you’re not missing out on any of your favorites games. If you have concerning the type of beer Ted’s carry, don’t worried, Ted’s have them all from domestic to imports, and a full liquor bar. Little hungry, Ted's also carried the best variety of fingers food, and they all are delicious. Over ten years of visited Ted’s, I have eaten everything on their menus, not once I was disappointed, everything is delicious, and never greasy. My favorites food is their Buffalo Wings; I highly recommend trying the wings. Ted’s have the best chicken wings in South Beach, don’t just take my words, try it for yourself. Finally, Ted’s is all about customers experience, and you have a bad experience let the manager knows, they take all the complaints seriously; if you believe your complaint is not taking seriously, I would then ask to speak to the owner, and I can assure your voice will be heard. Never disappointed, come as you are, its laid back, casual dress flip-flops Pub/Sports Bar.
Just like any old school bar with that welcome as you are feeling. Staff is nice and prompt for what we experienced. Pool table available decent bathrooms and clean.
Definitely a chill spot with a great bar. TVs, juke box, drinks and pool! I am visiting for art basel and came here for all of the above reasons and was not disappointed. But what made my entire night was my amazing server Milica! She was attentive, polite and just an amazing asset to the night. A server can make or break the night and I appreciate her mannerisms, attentiveness and overall just being!! I ordered the mozzarella sticks and my uncle got some mini sandwiches or something..either way we both crushed. He ordered two mojitos, I ordered one of the drinks that had gin in it and a shot of jameson.. prices were reasonable. Only problem issss was I was there for over an hour and paid to hear my song on the juke box and never heard it! Maybe I wasn't there long enough... But other than that it was perfect. Great service- THANKS MILICA. Also, while we were there someone threw up on the floor and they cleaned it up immediately...perf. Great people, great aura. We found parking fairly easily but I could see how it may be a struggle because of the area. I would definitely recommend this place if you're trying to go out and chill and have a drink surrounded by cool people.
Great hole in the wall type bar. Most flavorful burgers I've had out! Chicken sandwich is good as well. Staff rocks.....all female crew!
Teds is the sh$t. I wish I could have my firstborn child on the pool table here, because the vibes are so right. Love flourishes here and the beer flows like a clean river. Lord blessed this little hole of sweet honey. Don’t come here unless you wanna have a good time.
Love this local spot. Bartenders are beautiful and the friendliest on the beach ! Potsie always holding down the fort with a smile, where they all know your name and your drink. Locals only.
I would call Ted's a five star dive bar. I walked in, reminded me of New York bar. The bartenders were great fast, fast drinks. New York style all the way baby. I'm going back again tonight. This is my SoBe hangout from now on.
Don't even bother going somewhere else. Cheap drinks, no cover, friendly staff. Local hospitality industry hot spot, so you can meet people that work at other bars and restaurants. Dive vibes and good music.
Awesome place. Dominique and Vanessa took really good care of us. Everyone was very friendly and attentive. You definitely made a new regular. Keep up the good work.
Great bar, good atmosphere and cheap drinks!
Great blackend fish tacos!! Service is top notch!! Love the neighborhood vibe!!! I can see us there weekly!!!.... now been there weekly! Great staff, wonderful food! Definitely our "go to" when in town for the winter months!
DIVE bar in SOBE. Throw back atmosphere - dark wood, big bar, day drinking etc. Had a terrific cheesesteak sandwich and a couple drafts. Hit the spot after a beach day
Great dive bar for just hanging out. Even at its busiest, the bar tenders were checking in on us plenty, drinks came quick, food came quick. The bar AND THE KITCHEN are open until 5 am. Food we got was great too
Ice cold beers. Excellent wings. Pool table busy with a good bar crowd. Good service. Come to enjoy!
Was without a doubt one of the naughtiest dive bars back in the 90’s when clubs like Groovejet, Liquid and Shadow Lounge rocked SoBe. Still a great dive bar today - good beers and food!
Tobey is hands down the BEST bartender in Miami. She checked in with us frequently and was so social. We are visiting from out of town and she gave us some great recommendations for some other local spots that were fabulous. She really helped us have a great time on our trip.
We love taking a break from being a tourist when on vacation and sought out Ted's Hideaway for some realness. Wow! Such a laid-back friendly atmosphere. Within moments we were greeted not only by our super friendly bartender, but also by the regulars sitting near-by. Such fun folks! There were many toasts and great conversation. We loved it and will be back.
Well all the bartenders are women and they are beautiful I recommend it
I was looking for something off the beaten path to relax and this was perfect. I didn't think I could find a laid back dive bar in Miami. Bartenders were attentive and friendly, food was good. Everyone seemed to know each other and the atmosphere was chill and welcoming.
The food is good but the people make this place special. This is a true bar with regulars and long time staff and I try to go there at least once a week even though I live in Miami proper. Great place. You don't have to spend that much to drink and eat there either.
Real authentic American pub! Mostly locals witch is nice!
Affordable drinks and food, quick service, dive bar, 20 TVs playing sports, pool table, my and my wife’s type of place!
Had to update my review. Can't say enough about relatively new bartender, Kay. She always makes us feel well taken care of, like family. And she does a great job in the kitchen. She keeps us coming back more often than we should. 😎 One of the best dive bars in South Beach. This place attracts a mostly local clientele with a regular sprinkling of visitors. One of the few places you can sit and drink for hours and not break the bank. Always great service from the bartenders, many of whom have been there for several years. I can’t say I’m a fan of their pizza, but the rest of the menu has been pretty solid for basic pub grub. Great deals on pitchers during the very long happy hour keep us coming back way too often.
Fue una de mis mejores noches…. Lugar basico y maravilloso tipico americano.
Me gustó mucho. Sports, billar y buena música. Un ambiente tranquilo. Agradable
Buen bar, economico y ambiente agradabel!
Stopped for a Saturday college ball day. Was a kinda sketchy entrance. But loved it. My type of laid back people. Bit of a dive bar in that it was pretty old looking. Loved the iced beer available and cheap prices compared to ocean drives mandatory 18% tips. This was a good stop and we enjoyed the tasty chilli cheese fries.
Love dive bars! Service was kinda slow, I sat at the bar and had to flag a bartender down to get a drink. Wasn’t super busy but there were a few groups in there at the time. Ordered a grilled cheese and fries which took quite a while to come out but I was warned it about. Grilled cheese came on a thick tortilla bread that was very tuff to chew, fries were great!
Quiet during the day which we like , gets busy at night, beers are cold ( on ice) did not eat here so cannot comment, bar girl was responsive. Fast free internet, can easily walk here from 10th Street or beyond.
Grotty and local, but loved it. Not many bars in the immediate area, and what is close by seemed a bit sterile to me, it's a diamond in the rough, but then I like a dive bar, wouldn't be everyone's thing.
This is one of the last local places on the beach. Stop in. It's raw and come as you are. Keep your expectations low and you will love this place. Pool table and fun bartenders!
Hole in the wall locals bar in south beach. Cheap drinks, happy hour noon to 8. Very personable bartender. Definitely a locals locale.
Great local hang out, best dive bar in South Beach, lots of TV’s for sports. Ollie bartender so sweet.
Great place to watch NFL games. Came in from out of town they have NFL ticket. Was able to watch all the games. Great staff, good food, midwestern atomsphere. Prices reasonable.
Ted's and Mac's Club Deuce on South Beach are two of the classic dive bars that you have to take in when you visit. The drinks are consistently good and an okay menu plus they do accept credit cards.
It's a dive bar! And smokey! But that's what you can expect. Food is okay and beer prices are not bad. Good spot to watch a game if you dont mind the prior.
Well constructed tropical cocktails, with significant amounts of alcohol. Menu has wide variety of rich and savory items. Sweet, spicy, crispy, and fresh. Awesome tiki bar.
Perfect for game day! About 12 TVs around the bar.
Great little bar, well worth a visit if you are in the area. A little bit expensive for what is essentially a dive bar but the vibe is good. Docked a point because in the short time that we were there on a Wednesday evening they ran out two types of beer so they should maybe pay a little more attention to their stock rotation.
The nachos were great. Bartender was great. But do know it's an LGBTQ kinda bar. It's a low key spot with very reasonable music, drinks and food.
Love Ted's Hideaway! It's a secret gem where the locals hang. Low key vibe, juke box, pool table, free popcorn, outdoor patio, dog friendly, easy parking and a welcoming staff... what more could you ask for? The manager Angela always goes out of her way to make sure you are being taken care. I had my birthday party there and she even decorated the bar for the occasion!
Pretty straightforward dive bar at the beach. Been a few times on different nights. Service can be slow but never had any issues. Some regulars are annoying but overall chatted with some cool people. Fries are the bomb.
I visited Ted’s a few days ago and had the Fried Shrimp basket.. It was delicious! The fried shrimp were good size and included shrimp cocktail sauce and another tasty seafood sauce. The French Fries were also very good and the basket was a generous portion.. I even saved 3 shrimp and some fries for a next day snack! The bartenders were very nice and the bar has TouchTunes jukebox so you can play songs from the app on phone.
Came in today for Happy hour and it was great. Cheap cold beers, fast service, and the pool table was nicely unkept. Perfect locals dive bar in south beach, with a lot of food options around!
I enjoyed the place. I like those kind of environments. But smoking inside was a downsize of it. Overall it's good. A little bit expensive.
Great basic bar in heart of SB. Gets 3 stars because it could use some TLC inside BUT bartenders are HOT and FUN to talk to. Definitely will be a new stop on nights out in SB. Chicken tenders and fries were good and portions were spot on😎
This has become the most trashy, low class place sadly. Terrible attitude on some of the bar women. Avoid at all costs. It was amazing 20 years ago.
I went at midnight on a Sunday night in mid-August and it was quite a joke, the pizza for $13 was laughable, ~$10 for a single 16oz draft of IPA was a ripoff, the atmosphere & women quality (and quantity) was almost zero, the waitresses were nice & competent enough, but this was nowhere near worth $40 for two beers & an embarrassment of an excuse for a small thin crust pizza (maybe worth $20-25 total at best after tip). Would not recommend to anyone who cares about their money or time, cannot blame the front of house staff for any of the shortcomings, as they seemed to care enough despite seemingly knowing what I had just outlined in this review. There is certainly a deceptively high google rating for this establishment; and it is best to stay away, so I feel obligated to bring it down a peg by awarding it with this two star review. Do yourself a favor and eat elsewhere, and proceed to drink at The Scapegoat which is closeby, one of the best bars I'd ever visited, if you decide to take this advice, it's from a local guide; and I'm not even a local in this area (DFW/TX is where I reside).
Mediocre food, 15$ cocktails. Beer is reasonable especially at happy hour. Waited 40 min for the most pathetic excuse for a fish sandwich. Embarrassing
The service was so great but having a good service didn't compensate the rest. The whole place was so dirty and look old. The wall were dirty as hell, they were supposed to be white and the look grey because of the dust. Spiderwebs were everywhere on the ceiling. The restroom, even if they have a concept of a old pub... We're dirty. The tables and chairs we ripped. It could be better. Seriously but you cannot comeback to a place that doesn't care about they look
I came to play pool with my wife. We were having fun. A group of people came in and we began shooting pool with them. After a few games I put money on the bar for another cocktail. The waitress took my money and walked away. She never came back. Do not pay for your cocktail until you get it. Kind of shady. After complaining we finally got our money back. I left. Too bad, I was willing to stay for a long time.
Unbelievably slow service. Like, VERY slow. Food was average. Had really good expectations, but can't say I'll come back.
Server in the bar no very nice after 45 minutes she came to ask me if I need another drink, she was only taking good care of the white people, chicken wings not the best came to me white not cooked properly,
Would not go back again the food was not enjoyable over price. The service was very rushed and very rude. Would not go back again.
Their were two good bartenders one quit. Vanessa is fantastic the girl "patsy" is nasty and rude. Pick a better spot.
Advertise that you may bring your dog. Walk there and informed that I'm only permitted to bring my dog before 8pm. Wasted an hour of my day just to be turned away.
The very bad experience, they have stolen my credit card or lost it, I gave them it for opening the account to drink they told me it natural to do that at the end when came time to leave no card, it’s crazy no explanation no apologies may be they gave it to an other customer, lost it or stole it I don’t know, what I know I had to opposite my card and the bar team are not professional, morality don’t give them your card pay directly and I don’t recommend this bar.
If you are tired of getting ripped off at Teds, Harats on 13th & Washinton has FREE!! pool on 2 tables , half price drinks ALL DAY and better food. A 10-15 min walk for an infinitely better option.
Dive Bar in cleanliness only, avoid this one folks. $15 well drinks. I visited this bar 10/25 expecting some decently priced drinks in a divey sports bar setting. Instead, I’m charged $150 for 6 well-drinks that were prepared using a jigger by maskless employees (there is a pandemic going on still...). After bringing up the obvious mistake, I was told that someone was still being trained and they may have wrung up my drinks wrong. As a ‘favor’ they knocked $50 off my tab, and insisted that it was a great deal as taxes and gratuity were already included. Would rate this a zero if I could, hopefully this establishment goes belly-up in the near future.
This was probably the second worst meal of my life. Burger was too salty to eat. Chili cheese fries tasted like a salt lick. I like salt. But I could not handle this place. It may be good for a beer and hangout, but do not eat here!!!!
The bartender K was great but the girl that worked with her tonight(12-26-25) would take your money when you were not looking. She ignored us when I was not looking she took my glass. Very rude. Myself and my husband were having a good time met a few people played pool with them. After we complained about not getting my drink they said ok and brought back a 3 ounce cup and said it was 8.75 we were drinking pint glasses. Place not so good if you go there watch your money.
Weird crowd, a guy went into the ladies bathroom, another guy had a knife and threatened the other clients to stab them. We warned the bartender and preferred to leave.
