I've been to salty donut a bunch of times ans i always love it. They gave this location a little remodeling since I was last at this location but I absolutely love it. Definitely felt less cramped and more open. We did get here late (they stay open till 10pm) so we didnt get a lot of choices like thet usually have in flavors but my favorite the white chocolate tres leches was avaliable. We also got a Nutella crunch donut. Always amazing donuts and im always happy everytime I get them.

The Salty Donut is hands down one of the best donut shops I’ve ever visited! 🍩 The donuts are fresh, creative, and full of flavor — from classics to unique seasonal specials, every bite is amazing. The brioche-style dough is soft and fluffy, and the glazes and toppings are always perfectly balanced. The coffee is excellent too, which makes it a perfect spot for breakfast or an afternoon treat. The shop itself has a cozy vibe and the staff are super friendly. Definitely worth the hype — I’ll be coming back for sure!

I stop by The Salty in Wynwood almost every morning before heading to the gym down the street, and the experience has been consistently great—especially since Felix took over as manager. He somehow always has my iced latte with oat milk made perfectly and ready right as I walk in, which honestly makes my mornings so much smoother. Beyond the coffee, the whole vibe and ambiance have noticeably improved since his arrival. The shop feels more welcoming, organized, and upbeat. The team seems dialed in, service is quick, and you can tell there’s strong leadership behind the scenes. If you’re in Wynwood and want great coffee with a solid atmosphere, this spot has definitely stepped up its game.

If you’ve got a real sweet tooth, The Salty Donut is a must. These are not standard donuts — soft, brioche-style bases with rich, creative glazes and flavors that actually stand on their own. Go with an assortment so you can experience the range: sweet-savory combos, deep chocolate notes, and balanced, not-too-sweet finishes. Every donut feels intentional and well thought out. Perfect stop while walking the Wynwood Arts District. Creative baking at its best — bold, memorable, and absolutely worth it.

This place has a great vibe, very cool and mellow. A lot of people come in to take pictures, which shows that the doughnuts and the scenery are decorative. I’ve been here several times, and it’s definitely worth it. Check it out.

The Salty @thesaltydonut 📍Miami, FL Follow @eatzwithsweetz on ig and fb for more! Donuts, coffees, and vibes! This was a great start to my day! The Salty Donut Wynwood: A Sweet Slice of Miami Heaven! Stepping into The Salty Donut in Wynwood is always a treat for the senses, and my latest visit was no exception! If you're searching for fresh, gourmet donuts made with love, this is absolutely your spot. I decided to dive into a variety of their incredible flavors, picking up the Guava & Cheese, Nutella Crunch, Tres Leches, and Tiramisu. Each one was a work of art, but the Guava & Cheese truly stole my heart – a perfect balance of sweet guava and tangy cheese, it's a must-try for anyone looking for a unique Miami-inspired bite! What makes The Salty Donut stand out? Every single donut is made fresh daily, and you can genuinely taste the difference. They are consistently incredibly fresh, light, and perfectly fluffy, never dense or greasy. It's clear they pride themselves on quality. And despite being such high-quality, artisanal donuts, the price point is wonderfully accessible, ranging from around $3.50 to $5 each. It's fantastic value for such a gourmet experience. If you're in Wynwood and craving something sweet, do yourself a favor and stop by The Salty Donut. You won't regret it! How does that sound?

Salty Donut never misses. I’ve tried a bunch of their flavors, but the guava and cheese is my favorite—flaky, sweet, creamy. Hits every time. A few things I like about the place: • Donuts are fresh, not overly sweet • Creative flavors that rotate pretty often • Coffee is solid too—goes great with the donuts • Staff is friendly and fast • Space is chill if you want to sit for a bit Prices are a little higher than your usual donut shop, but you get what you pay for. Quality is top-tier. If you’re in the area, it’s worth the stop—even if there’s a line.

Food was great! Had a few donuts The flavor combination are unique and delicious.and a breakfast croissant which was super buttery which I like, but might not be for you. I'd come back to try something else

Handcrafted donuts in an awesome, artsy area of Miami. The cake donut was just the right density and the brown butter glaze was delicious but not overwhelming. Donut masters!

Salty Donuts hits different 🔥 The vibes are super chill, and the staff is mad cool — they make you feel right at home. The donuts? Not the most filled, but the flavor and presentation make up for it big time. They’re on point. Definitely a spot to pull up to if you’re into quality over quantity. A solid treat every time. 🙌🍩

I seriously can't get enough of The Salty Donut! 🍩 If you're looking for the best donuts in Miami, this is it. It's not just a donut shop - it's an experience! Every single donut is a masterpiece. They're so fresh and have the most amazing, creative flavors. My favorites are the Guava & Cheese and the White Chocolate Tres Leches. 🤤 It's obvious they put a ton of care into everything they make. The vibe is always great, and the staff is super friendly. It's the perfect spot to treat yourself and just enjoy some seriously delicious treats. Highly recommend ! ★★★★★

As a huge donut fan, I was on the lookout for the best donut spots in Miami, and to my surprise, there weren’t as many options as I expected. Now, I understand why! The Salty Doughnut is definitely the cream of the crop and the one to beat. I visited in the late afternoon, and by then, most of the donuts were already sold out, which is a testament to how good they are. I promised myself I’d come back early the next day, and I wasn’t disappointed. I already had my mind set on a few donuts, and they delivered exactly what I was hoping for. The dough itself is incredibly delicious, perfectly soft and airy, and the fillings are next-level. The vegan Peanut Butter & Jelly and cookie Banana Cream pie donuts were my absolute favorites—they’re a must-try! If you find yourself in the Wynwood area, don’t miss out on this super cool donut spot in an even cooler neighborhood. Whether you're a donut lover or just exploring the area, this place is definitely worth a visit.

I swear I read reviews upon reviews of this place and I was afraid that it was all hype. It's not!! I mean who wants to drive over an hour to a shop and then be disappointed, am I right? 🙈 I am so glad I decided to give this place a try! This is the only place I'm getting donuts from now on! 🍩 Can we even call them donuts? They are crafted so beautifully and every bite I take makes me want more! 😍❤ I don't think I've ever tasted donuts this good before! Seriously!! When I arrived, they have everything ready for covid protocol, and have separate sections depending on if you are ordering on the spot, or if you're picking up an online order! Staff was super friendly and helpful too! 😄 The store is located behind the pink barricades, so look for them on the street and just walk right up! I understand people were not happy about having to pay for parking on the street, but welcome to Miami! This isn't something the shop can control. I just used the street near Salvation Army and crossed over! Easy. Overall, the Salty Donut is the definition of donut heaven! Hands down!! Stop reading this review and get your butt over there now! 👍

🍩 The Salty in Wynwood = a must-visit! Fresh donuts ✨, friendly staff 😃, and great service 👍. Miss the vegan cinnamon 🌱 and more classic options 🥯, but still my go-to spot in Miami 📍.

I'm not a super fan of large donuts but this place puts a child-like nostalgia on sweet treats. The texture of the donuts are airy and not too heavy as to balance the more decadent toppings. The vibes are chill in a hipster artistic neighborhood.

Been going to their pop-up location in West Palm Beach that they've been doing randomly before they open their store. The donuts are very good. They always seem to have a different variety when they do come. I can't wait for the location to open up.

First time visiting this dessert/coffee shop. They have a variety of yummy and unique donuts as well as fresh coffee. All the donuts and coffee we tried were very delicious. Staff were friendly and courteous.

We have tried a lot of good donut places around the country, plenty of good donuts in Chicago but this is one of the most creative ones ever visited. Seasonal donuts, very dense and decadent. They are usually sold out before 3, st least the good stuff so come early.

M
Michael Ortali

Stellar donuts, must try! Their yeast donut are fluffy, rich and delightful. Their sweetness is balanced and the texture is delicate. It reminded me of the quality you typically get in japan. Their creative donuts are oftentimes too sweet and unbalanced, so I go for the basic one, but if you like passion fruit, chocolate and other flavors, you might enjoy their upscaled versions.

E
Eugenia Noguera Florentin

Freshly made, they have a really nice variety of donuts 🍩 We tasted the matcha lemonade, with one donut each. On this Saturday morning was full of visitors. The service its quick, you can also preorder.

Delicious donuts that can satisfy your sweet tooth! I decided to pre-order for pick up because I knew I’d be in the area and it was very convenient and quick! Haven’t tried their beverages YET, but will come back to try more!

Delicious donuts with a great variety of flavors. We had the guava and cheese, the traditional, the cinnamon roll, and the neapolitan. The latter is the best of the bunch by far, and definitely worth having it more than once.

Couldn’t ask for a better way to start the day. The location is perfect being right in the heart of Wynwood walking distance to some very cool spots around town. The service was friendly and fast. I ended up grabbing the cookies + cream which was a great blend of sweet, moist and lightly salted. If you’re a fan of good, not good but amazing donuts drop into this place it was all around one of the best donuts I’ve had and that’s saying a lot living in San Francisco. Definitely coming back next time I am in town. - @furiousrobinson

This is the most exciting donut shop to visit in South Florida. They change their menu up seasonally but they NEVER disappoint with the amazing flavors they come up with. They truly make GOURMET donuts. A must have is guava and cheese, I know it may sound weird but YOU MUST TRY IT. It will blow your mind and you also need to try the tres leches. This place is my guilty pleasure 🙌🏼

Possibly the best place in the world. Salty Donut opened as I was moving out of Miami. You best believe that every time I visit I make it a point to get some amazing donuts. I’ve been to plenty of donuts around the world and the salty donut is my number one. Get their Cinnamon Toast Crunch iced coffee! Heaven in a cup.

Amazing delicious assortment of Donuts in a cute coffee shop setting in the heart of Wynwood. Love the little pop ups they have where one can get these donuts in different areas. Only suggestion I would make is to offer more Vegan options of these delicious donuts. Of the entire display here only one was vegan!

Y
Yas

So suprised that these pretty donuts tastes even better than they look! Get there as early as you can since the popular flavors run out fast. Big portions for an absolutely reasonable price by miami standards.

Came to The Salty Donut today after my clinical rotations, in hopes of procuring the infamous Brown Butter donut, and by luck i got it. I was greeted with a warm welcome once entering the store by Aurora. I felt at home, an unusual experience considering most places won’t acknowledge the presence of the customer,. The accompany co-workers were very helpful as well and recommended me delicious alternatives, but my mind was set already. The area was clean and impeccable. The Donut was fresh, soft, warm, and melts in your mouth. A flavorful explosion in every bite. Overall a great experience to start my day off. I recommend The Salty Donut.

If you are craving something sweet, you’re going to love this place! Their donuts are delicious, in both their traditional and inventive versions. Some of their creative originals are a hybrid between a more sophisticated dessert with a donut, and can also be enjoyed for special occasions and celebrations... Go ahead, take a break, and allow yourself to get back to your inner child!

We’ve had donuts all across America and these are definitely at the top of the list. Creative flavor combinations, quality ingredients, and a seamless online order/pickup procedure makes this place a no brainer for any donut fan. Wish we could have tried more flavors but we were only in the area for a day. We had the tres leches (our favorite), cookies and cream, chocolate hazelnut, classic glazed, and the sweet potato (second fave). All exceptional. Highly recommended!

Great donuts. Haven’t tried fresh yet but to say I had gotten them near lunch they were still pretty tasty. Matcha wasn’t my fave but donuts are their specialty.

A unique donut place in the heart of Wynwood. You can find anything in here from the traditional glazed and sugared goodies to a maple-bacon donut! Both savory and sweet, this place offers an unforgettable food experience. Traditional ingredients, simple design, great combos. A very versatile menu in a great neighborhood, love hopping in! They also have great coffee.

C

Yummy donuts! I had the one with the white swirl and also the bacon donut and both were excellent! The actual donut is very fluffy and the toppings on top compliment the donut really well. Sometimes they do run out of donuts so come early!

Two enthusiastic thumbs up. Fine holiday fun. I had been following their instagram page long before I got down to their shop in Wynwood and it was everything I had hoped it would be. Must Visit!!! 5 stars and some more. This place never disappoints. Bring your sweet tooth and get ready for a delicious sweet ride. Recommend sharing the donuts if it’s multiple people you are visiting with. They are do spiked donuts so if you are feeling slightly edgy go for it! It’s also a coffee shop so pair your donuts with a coffee. It’s usually a bit crowded so the coffee takes a bit of time to come out. Must Try: maple bacon, chocolate squared, hazelnut and tres leches. And the spiked donuts.

L
Leea G.

These by far were some of the BEST doughnuts 🍩 I have EVER tasted. And let’s not even talk about the SERVICE 👏👏 I stopped at the one on Lincoln in South Beach. I liked the basic one better than all of them. My little cousin tried one too and thought it was delicious 🤤 The complimentary mineral water was a plus also! These are a MUST try!!! You have to try them! Absolutely DELICIOUS 🤤! I’m going to have to drive back just for these!

Not usually one for donuts, but this is a must for Miami and so worth it!! They have regular flavors and seasonal/limited edition flavors. Each donut is about $3-4 and all are Instagram worthy. Even their regular flavors are unique. Highly recommend! Edit: Their online ordering system and pick up system are extremely easy to navigate! I really appreciate the efforts to be safe without compromising the quality of donuts during these tumultuous times.

this is the best donut shop in wynwood! I have been going here since like 2018 when they were located in the smaller location. this new location is amazing, the service is great, the donut quality is amazing, i do find that the coffee and lattes are not consistently made but other than that great donut shop. ample parking right in front of the shop and you can order online for pickup!

I must say, The Salty Donuts is an absolute delight! Their donuts are generously sized and incredibly scrumptious, with a wonderfully soft texture that makes each bite a true pleasure. What's really cool is that they offer different donut flavors depending on the month, which adds a delightful element of surprise to every visit. I find myself drawn to this place whenever I crave some sweet indulgence. The warm and friendly staff create a welcoming atmosphere that enhances the overall experience. The Salty doesn’t leave me feeling salty. This establishment really has something special. The donuts are unique, prepared fresh, and bursting with flavor. They were truly a tasty and delicious treat. I stopped here when traveling to the Keys to see family, and I was pleasantly impressed. Service was to the standard, and staff were knowledgeable with products and happy to assist with any questions. Atmosphere is chill, I felt comfortable when I was there, but seating could be an issue at certain times. If you’re in the area or just looking for some good donuts, I happily give my recommendation for The Salty.

I went here almost exactly a year ago, had a very negative experience and the owners were kind enough to invite me to try it again. The pistachio cannoli donut is absolutely TOP SHELF. Made up in every way for my first experience and I would visit again just to try that amazing donut. Thanks!!

J

I’m not a huge dessert and sweet person. But honestly I could go for donuts there everyday! Unlike most of the donuts I had before, the cake itself is really soft and tasty. And the topping are amazing... it obviously depends on your taste but there is always one to be liked! I love they change the menu regularly as well!!

Fantastic First Experience! The place was clean, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. Arura provided excellent guidance in choosing a donut, showcasing impressive knowledge. The pumpkin donut and iced coffee she suggested were a delightful treat. I'll definitely return for more sweet cravings! Donuts are a good size portion — easily can share between two individuals!

Fantastic. The location is really cool, the staff were friendly, and the donuts were the best I've ever had. The only people I wouldn't recommend this to are people who like their donuts plain and simple. These are so unique and creative! Absolutely worth the price.

V

The hold this place has on me needs to be studied. I have never ever been the biggest fan of donuts but for some reason, I am an absolute fanatic for these freaking donuts. Every time I have a craving for these, I wish I could call the place and have them block me on Ubereats because I feel like i’m borderline fighting an addiction. Nutella crunch and the brown butter & salt are my absolute favorites— I love combining a bite of each. I also love some type of oreo donut they sometimes have. Unfortunately I haven’t been a fan of much else, but it somehow doesn’t take away my love for the place. Overall, 5/5 scrumdiddlyumptious donuts but user beware!!

J
Joshua Yancey

This is a five star review, but with one issue (non-food related) alright as someone who is PRO-KRISPY KREME!!! I have to say I was thoroughly impressed with the taste and texture of the donuts. The donuts were soft enough, but they really put an emphasis on the donut itself. They all taste like cake. That’s something a lot of donut places DO NOT GET RIGHT! Very good donuts, I also got a cold brewed coffee, not bad. My only issue, which again is non-store related. It’s the location, this place is on one of the most narrow and busiest streets. Gotta love Miami’s road infrastructure 🙄 You better have a compact car and come early. I do recommend this place though.

I visited The Salty Donut in Wynwood and overall had a good experience. The donuts are very good a definite highlight because the variety is unique, which makes it fun to try different flavors. The French toast sticks, they were really good. The breakfast potatoes had good flavor, but they were cold by the time I received them, likely due to the wait. The biggest downside was the long wait time, which felt unnecessary since I ordered online ahead of time and drove from Miami Gardens for pickup, yet my order still was not ready. Despite that, I will be back to try the different coffees next time I'm in the area.

M
Maria Barreat

The Salty is a solid spot with great food and truly amazing coffee. One downside was that when we arrived, several items were already sold out, which limited our options. We did have a croissant and it was good, no complaints there. Overall, it’s a reliable place for a quick bite, especially if you go early and just want something tasty and well made

A
Adam Zdeb

Doughnuts were pretty good, our favorite was the pistachio and guava one. Service was decent but could be better, person who served us took our order than went to check their email on a laptop and maklde is wait at the counter for couple of minutes before he packed up the 4 doughnuts. All in all place is worth checking out.

Creative donuts with cool ingredients. Beautiful presentation. A bit pricy. Prepare yourself to wait a long line depending on the time you go. I ended up getting two kinds maple bacon was my favorite. 100% recommend

We stopped by The Salty Donut and really enjoyed our visit! They have a smaller selection of flavors, which actually works in their favor — you can tell that each donut is made with care and quality ingredients. We tried the Vanilla Bean (yeast) and the Brown Butter & Salt (cake) donuts. The yeast donut was a bit on the dense side, but still tasty. The real standout, though, was the Brown Butter & Salt — absolutely amazing! Perfect balance of sweet and salty, with a rich, buttery flavor that’s hard to beat. Definitely worth a stop if you’re a donut lover. Next time, we’ll be back to try a few more of their creative flavors!

The staff here are super friendly and the shop has a great vibe. Just make sure to come early because most of the popular donuts sell out fast. The traditional glazed donut was a huge miss for me. It was dry, lacked flavor, and I ended up throwing it out. Easily my least favorite. On the other hand, the brown butter and salt cake donut was incredible. It was super moist and flavorful. The brown sugar peach cobbler and mixed berry cheesecake donuts were both amazing too, full of creativity and rich taste. Surprisingly, my favorite ended up being the chocolate whoopie pie. I only got it because it was one of the few options left, but it was honestly incredible. Rich chocolate flavor, soft texture, and just really well balanced. Each donut felt unique and you can tell they take pride in what they create. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Miami and I’m showing up early to try the ones I missed.

The Salty Donuts. We have one in Dallas, but I thought it would be cool to try the original location in the Wynwood area of Miami. I’m so very happy that I did, because the donuts and coffee are very tasty! 1. Guava & Cheese 10/10 – This reminded me of buttery toast with a small amount of soft, smooth, and sweet cream cheese. AMAZING! 2. Traditional Glaze 9/10 – Taste like sweet buttery popcorn. Mmmmmmm, delicious! 3. Banana Cream Pie 9/10 – This tastes just like Banana Pudding to me. So good! 4. Mango $ Passion Fruit White Chocolate 8/10 – If you enjoy a tropical fruit taste, then you will certainly like this. 5. Ube Pina Colada 8/10 – This is also a tropical flavor. I wasn’t sure what to expect at first, but I enjoyed it. The Ube flavor definitely works for this donut. 6. White Chocolate Tres Leches 7/10 – Although this is probably the nice-looking donut out of the bunch, it is my least favorite. That’s only because it didn’t pack that buttery flavor like all the others. Plus, the smell from the meringue was pretty strong for me, but that’s to be expected if they are using egg whites. Nice variety, we really liked the guava filling and passion fruit donuts. The flavors are unique, coffee was good. I liked that the employee made me her favorite coffee the way she likes it, it was better than the menu offering.

Unique flavors and big selection of botiquín donuts. Can definitely share one donut for two people. Be ready to spend around $4 a donut.

Unhealthy decadent and amazing donuts. Recommended any time you want to splurge calories. The people were very nice and the place was clean and comfortable after a long walk in the sun enjoying Wynwood. My only gripe is that my $4 americano coffee was the size of a thimble. Please be upfront on sizes like you are on your amazing donuts.

Great donuts with a wide variety that aren’t too sweet, nice shop, with clean bathroom. Only con was service wasn’t as good. They gave me the wrong order of donuts when I asked if it was for me and they confirmed. I left in a rush without checking, a bit disappointed. Double check your orders before you leave.

As you know from past reviews, I have a bit of a sweet tooth. We’ve always heard great things about The Salty Donut and we had some extra time on Sunday afternoon so we decided to give this trendy sugar shop a try. Sadly, the 30+ minutes wait on Feb. 9, 2020 was very off putting, but we stuck it out. I ordered the original glaze, and a guava and cheese donut. The donuts were very good, but I would not wait that long ever again. The long wait was more memorable than the good taste of the donuts, not good. I think the inside of the establishment could us a design change to accommodate for a little less seating and at least one additional register to improve the line flow. I would recommend this place, perhaps when the wait is minimal.

Tres Leches is the top 1 flavor I like. I will recommend having the tea or coffee while eating the donut. It will also be a good idea to share donuts instead of having one as yourself. It's too big and you'll feel greasy.

The best donuts I've had yet. The dough is soft and fluffy and filling and glaze are delicious. The place is not very big but nice and very clean. My donuts order was fast but had to wait on the coffee for probably 10 more minutes. Other than the glazed donuts, the specialty donuts cost between $3.50 and $4 each. Overall it was a nice experience

We where at the Salty Donut Wynwood, to cool down and for a coffee. When we saw the donut we where not able to resist. They look sweet and delicious. We opted for the white chocolate and the hazelnut chocolate one. Taste is as they look sweet, delicious and you know you should not eat so much sugar but you just have to. The salted caramel latte with almond is also very tasty whether hot or cold. The donuts could be handed out on a plate and not in a carton if you decide to eat in the cafe. Would reduce the amount of waste. The staff/service is friendly and you can get your ordered donuts and beverages quickly. Awesome place in Wynwood area.

While on holiday, I decided to indulge in one of my favorite travel traditions: trying a local donut shop that has the internet buzzing. The shop itself was charming, and the display case was full of creative flavors. I picked three that stood out: Brown Sugar Peach Cobbler, Mixed Berry Cheesecake, and Tiramisu. On paper, this trio had all the makings of a flavor-packed treat session. Unfortunately, the reality didn’t quite match the hype. Let’s start with the most glaring issue: texture. Every donut I tried leaned heavily toward dense and dry—more “cakey brick” than pillowy pastry. They were thick to the point where each bite felt like a bit of a workout, and honestly, I half-joked to myself that I should’ve brought water just to get through them without choking. Flavor-wise, they weren’t offensive—but they also weren’t memorable. The brown sugar peach cobbler lacked the warm, buttery sweetness I expected. The mixed berry cheesecake had a faint fruitiness, but nothing that stood out. And the tiramisu? Let’s just say I kept waiting for that rich coffee-and-cream kick that never quite arrived. To be fair, the donuts weren’t bad—just average. And when a place has sky-high reviews, average feels like a letdown. Would I go back? Probably not. But hey, part of travel is trying new things—even if they’re not exactly the sugar-dusted dreams I hoped for. Average price point per donut:$5.00 The Salty Donut decor and atmosphere was the only thing that stood out. I guess The Salty Donut lived up to making me feel Salty.

Mixed review! The donuts are incredible and exactly what I'm looking for... Soft, pillow like dough with a sweet glaze but not overly sweet. There ALL top notch - Highly recommend the sea salt brown butter if you like more of a cake like consistency! The vibe inside needs an update to live up to the hype. Some vibrant colors and more seating would do wonders. I want to enjoy a sit down coffee and pastry. The staff was nice and very accommodating , they just need to communicate better and know the menu. Lots of miss communication without going into to many details. Also, everything should be stocked/available (or you would think) when you're coming around noon. That's prime time on a Sunday. I would recommend and go back for those pastries, but maybe as a takeout?!

Tried the maple bacon donut, and the Nutella donut. They were both very delicious, but I don't think they were quite worth their price of about 4 dollars each since they didn't taste very fresh. Wish I could have liked them more. Their flavors were decent, and they had so many flavors that it was hard to choose what I wanted because they all looked so good, but I just think the price is way too steep for their flavors and freshness. Staff was very smiley and happy and a pleasure to interact with!

They had very interesting flavors for Doughnuts. We ordered Guava & cheese, tres leches, chocolate and lemon ricotta. My favorite was lemon ricotta as the sweetness was very well balanced with the acidity of lemon and savoriness of ricotta. However all the others were a bit too sweet for my liking!!

I would have recommended the place for a visit if you are in Miami. Each donut was unique and none of them was too sweet. The guava donut was unique and the jelly was really interesting. We liked the Nutella whip better however. Food: 4.5/5 Why skeptical: there’s a small window from where you can observe folks making the dough. While watching the folks showcasing their expertise, one of the dough flew of their hands, which they picked up and started looking at us. We didn’t stay to watch what they did with the dough, but no one was wearing gloves.

The amount of packaging used here is horrific. Each specialty donut comes in its own cardboard box and my coffee was inexplicably double cupped even though it was only what I would consider “very warm.” I got the plain glazed and the pumpkin spiced cookie butter donuts. The plain glazed was noticeably fresher than the pumpkin spiced cookie butter. Surprisingly, the pumpkin spice and cookie butter flavors don’t really compliment each other, but instead cancel each other out. Service was quick and staff was nice.

When I speak of service being bad, it’s not in person service, It’s when ordered through the app the past two times at the Wynwood location. I ordered three items today from the Wynwood location and at the same time I ordered four items from the Coconut Grove location and the Coconut Grove location got here 22 minutes after I ordered in the meantime, I had to wait almost an hour for the Wynwood location to have someone to pick up the food because when I called, I was told they didn’t have a driver, but what I did not like is that there’s no one following up with the customer saying hey your order is delayed. It’ll be there soon. I had to call in and all I got was the order was sitting waiting to be picked up. You’ll get a text when it is picked up. Well that’s something I already know and would have appreciated a follow up call to let me know my order will be delayed because they didn’t have a driver instead of me waiting almost an entire hour to get three items. I am a very loyal customer of The Salty Donut. I order 2 to 3 times a week, but this last time left a really bad taste in my mouth and I don’t think I’ll be ordering from this location again and if I do order from the location, it will probably be in person. I probably will continue ordering through the Coconut Grove location. Also, FYI, another thing I don’t like is twice I’ve gone on the app and placed an order, and money was taken from my bank account and when I called the Wynwood location I was told they never received an order so they need to fix the app.

The donuts are just ok. But the service and the coffee was great. Tried the classic glazed, brown butter, cannoli, blueberry pop tart and Oreo bites. None stood out to us and the cake donuts were dry. The brown sugar cold brew was good and they threw together a chocolate milk for my kid that was tasty.

Tres leches was the best among the 5 that I ordered. It’s like a real tres leches cake. The traditional glaze was standard. The brown butter & salt didn’t strike any salty surprise. Guava & cheese didn’t have any guava nor cheese flavor. The Cookie Monster was pretty sweet but at least it was more interesting because of the chocolate fillings.

The atmosphere was pleasant, but I wish they offered more subtle options—everything felt a bit over the top. The pistachio donut I tried was alright, though it was way too sweet for my taste.

They need a better system to track the order all the way till it's handed over to the customer. There was very few people in the shop and the staff still forgot our order. We waited 20 mins to get 3 donuts from the counter to a bag. The donuts were good. Unique flavors like mixed berry, guava. The fillings were great. The frosting though was little too sweet and sugary.

Long time Miami institution that is spreading nationwide. Been here many times and they have a terrible issue- their donuts are bready and taste stale. I've tried going early, I've tried every flavor, it's always the same. Stale and bready brioche. Dont know if it's a technique problem, or if the donuts are being made elsewhere and shipped in but always the same. Strange thing is that wynwood is their flagship and they have a huge kitchen but you NEVER see them baking and it never smells like anything has been made in house. So disappointing because they have very inventive flavors.

This place had fast and friendly service. Unfortunately the donut quality is just not good. These are not cake donuts, but they are dense and heavy. The texture feels like they were made the day before, and the flavors are not outstanding. There’s also virtually no parking so you should order ahead and pick up if you plan on dining here.

Guys, I’m so sad. I have been a salty costumer for years! Since they started! The glazed is my go to, and it used to be one of my favorite donuts of all time. I can’t say the same anymore. Idk if I had a bad batch twice now but location in palm beach and Wynwood the glazed donut has drastically dropped down in quality in my opinion. These donuts used to be pillowy fluffy and so fresh! My donut this morning I legit could not finish it it tasted like a tire for some reason. Texture and taste was off. Even in palm beach they are not as fresh and fluffy as they used to be very disappointing because this place used to be amazing. Not sure if I will come back :/

Lots of space. Coffee was bad.... Got the vanilla bean latte. Had a bad aftertaste and was too sweet. Guava cheese donut was delicious. The tree leches donut was dry and too sweet (tasted for like banana than tres leches).

Had these donuts before from an event and thought they pretty good so I was excited to go try other flavors. Got the tiramisu donut and it was underwhelming. Donut itself felt dry and flat. Also wanted to get some matcha latte but they had no matcha. Overall was disappointed.

Maybe I was just unlucky, but the donut was terrible. The dough was dry, and grease was literally dripping from it.

I placed an order via UberEats and a DoorDash order was sent. I tried calling multiple times but no luck. I did speak to UE, you clearly see DD on the receipt, and there's nothing else I could do. My neighbors enjoyed the free donuts!

The most expensive donuts in Miami and don’t live up to what’s advertised. Almost no filling in the donuts that are supposed to have it. Size of donuts is inconsistent. One day it’s normal and next day it’s a mini and this isn’t a one time issue. Donut has a teaspoon of filling when it’s supposed to be filled throughout. The glazing slides off the donuts. Dough is in the dry side. At $5 a donut I’d expect better quality control. Also found wax paper inside the merengue cream on the Tres Leches donut.
