Tradewinds Waterfront Bar And Grill Miami Reviews
I went today with 2 friends to have a couple of beers and we had a great time! The atmosphere is really cool, ideal to hangouts with friends and have some drinks, We didn’t order anything to eat, but the menu was good. Very friendly staff. We loved the waterfront view. Great location: Bayside it’s a very nice place with live music and plenty of shops.
The food was so good here!!! We ordered the lobster tail meal for two deal and the food was awesome! The lobster tail was actually really big, lots of shrimp, clams in the dish. The meal was so filling that my brother and I were so full when we finished it. Good view also, lots of boats, birds, good sunlight.
Very nice place with stunning views. Serving is good and fast. Price is reasonable. We liked it.
We didn't eat as it was very pricey, but we had a drink and they were very welcoming and friendly. Family friendly and happy to bring a high chair and accommodate our rowdy toddler. Beautiful view over the marina to watch the boats. Menu wasn't huge and children menu wasn't anything I'd feed my toddler (burger...hot dog...fries...). The people at the table next to us had very large portions of delicious looking food though!
The grilled mahi mahi was everything, as well as the rice and beans. The crabs legs was another story for the first time crab legs eater 😂😂. Our waiter was excellent, he was very attentive to our needs. Great area right in the middle of all shopping and site seeing tours. I will eat there again if I am in the area.
Tradewinds is a great place to enjoy Miami's harbor. There are tarpon and manatees to be viewed just a few feet from the restaurant. Bluepoint oysters on the half shell were yummy. Clams, lobster, shrimp and various fresh caught fish are on the menu. Drinks are strong. The mojitos were perfect! Enjoy Tradewinds. We did!
Nice 👍🏼 open bar to hang out and grab a weak drink and a bite of food. The staff was super nice and served us fast. But the drinks were not that good. Overall my experience was nice and relaxing
Good seafood, atmosphere, and beers were cold - prices are decent for a tourist area.
Absolutely phenomenal, especially for the price. Service was top-notch and my food was extremely fresh and flavorful. Directly on the water looking at a harbor. Fun music also playing.
The ceviche is fantastic. A good place to view the marina and the shannanegins of the shopping strip.
Beautiful relaxed setting right on the water with great food.
GREAT FOOD! I recommend the crabcakes and wings...and oh yeah their salads. Beautiful view at the Pier. Great atmosphere...Watch out for the french fry eating squirrel!
As with all cruise ships, you get off early! Headed for Bayside and a long days waiting for our flight to Ireland. A coffee at Tradewinds kick started our day.. with more than just a cuppa. Friendly advice, great stories, back for lunch. Daniel even bought us a round of drinks. If we cruise from Miami again, this is the place to stop while either waiting for you ship or your flight home.. Thank you so much guys. Shan, Nicci, Karen & Kyle. Ireland
I read the reviews about poor service. Our service tonight was on the edge of exceptional. We all ordered sea food. It was very good.
Visiting from Australia and had never tried clam chowder before but now a big fan. Kids were delighted with their seafood basket too
Food was awesome. Service was super good and the servers were very polite and attentive. Thank you Ana for excepcional service.
My friends and I recently visited Tradewinds and were impressed with the great food. My salmon was cooked perfectly and the view from the patio was amazing. I would definitely recommend Tradewinds to others.
Almost didn't come here because I read the other revews. Being from NC we're big seafood fans. We were looking for a steam pot in Miami and this was the only place we could find. We decided to go for it and had a great experience. Food and service were much better than expected. Thought I'd help their average since we feel the negative reviews are inaccurate.
In Miami 4days for a cruise. Ate at Tradewinds 1st night. It looked like a typical tourist restaurant, but it wasn't. Our waiter was Eric, who was the best waitperson we've had in 10 years (I'm a former food & Beverage consultant). He began by explaining the freshness of all the seafood, along with giving us opinions on all our questions about choices that were not onlyhonestbut spot on. In addition, every time he walked by one of his tables, he would stop to check on his diners, refill drinks, ask about wines, cocktails and desserts. He also brought his manager, Johann, to the table, who also checked on all the diners. Food was outstanding. We had clams, Greek salads, oysters, grouper, shrimp, wahoo, and a great hot fudge sundae. Super Cocktails. In, fact, the next night, with thousands of restaurants from which to choose. We returned a second time. A very classy operation!!
We stopped here for a quick lunch and the food was amazing but the drinks were even better! They had a great selection of Mojitos and they were probably the best we've had! And nice and strong! My husband had the surf and turf burger with fried lobster tail, YUM! And I had the grouper sandwich which was great too. The service was great and we loved the view. We will definitely stop back here when we return to Miami!
My food was great, the staff is attentive, and I'm right on the water enjoying the perfect breeze as I type this. It doesn't get any better than this. 😊 I walked down the Bayside boardwalk was recommended this place while at a daiquiri stand. Glad I listened to them. This sure beats the cold of the Northeast.
Best dining experience I've had in Miami. The food was delicious as were the margaritas. I had the grilled Chilean sea bass and it was so succulent and tender. The mango margarita was very good as well not too sweet but just the right amount that you can still taste it. We had a table at the back of the deck and it was quiet and peaceful dinner for my girlfriend and I. Our server was hands down the best in Miami very attentive and honest wish I remembered his name. Will come back again for sure
I'm a southerner who likes rich, seasoned (not salty) food. Fresh fish is good, but fresh seasoned fish is better in my opinion. This was some of the best food I had in Miami. The fish and the chicken are both delicious. They don't add the 18% gratuity to your check, but you'll give it on your own because the food and service are great.
Para nosotros todo perfecto, la camarera q nos atendio es super amable y habla español, nos sirvieron agua fresquita sin cobrarnosla y el servicio rapido. La calidad es muy buena a un precio accesible. ( recomendable)
Good food, good service, very good chopp! because it is bordering the water sometimes it smells like the sea that is already expected! the experience was wonderful. the food was very good, I am allergic to the mussel to warn it was taken off the plate very easily, grateful!
Good location, just as you come off the boat. Decent menu, good drinks collection, friendly staff, quick service. Veggie quesadilla could have added more veggies. I have an extra star for using CloverPOS mobile POS system and bringing it to the table this eliminating "card out of sight" anxiety. They also support Apple pay.
Great location right beside the marina. Food and drinks were just okay. Service was great.
The surf & turf burger was great and huge. The wait wasn’t longer
Nice view by the ocean Good staff and good food
Many options on the menu, great tasting food, waitress was friendly and patience with our party earned her a nice tip. We will definitely visit this restaurant again.
Drinks were pricey but my food was excellent. Had shrimp scampi. It has lots of shrimp and the shrimp was very tender and fresh tasting.
Service is a little slow, but maybe that's a Miami thing. Service is friendly though and bilingual! Food is wonderfully prepared. If you want to sit down for an hour or so, stop here!
Went to TW June 2018 and the grilled red snapper was one of the best fresh piece of fish I ever had. Can’t wait to go to TW again when I’m in Miami.
Ahi poke was fresh. My friend got the salad with seared tuna and he said it was one of the best salads he'd ever had. Drinks are overpriced.
Grear place to people watch. The seafood is very good. I suggest trying the Seafood Pot for two which has a but of everything in it. The prices are surprisingly low for being in such a touristy area.
Great food good service just some food portion was less than expected.
3 stars for the view, 1 for the food. Not a bad place but don't expect fresh delicious seafood.
We had an attentive waiter, which I like. The fried goat cheese appetizer was amazing. Nut crusted mahi and the Cajun shrimp skewers were good as expected. I recommend this place!
While having a great time at Wynwood Marketplace. Tradewinds was a nice convenient place to eat. The fries were delicious and made fresh. I enjoyed the friendly service.
We ordered appetizers to start. The portions were small. The grilled shrimp was about 6 shrimp. The fried calamari was very salty. The ceaser salad was good. The fried shrimp and fries was ok. The mojito was awful. Service was great. Atmosphere was wonderful.
Atmosphere was nice for people watching. Food is pricey as is the parking fee. Our server was great. The whole fried snapper was amazing!... enough to feed 2 people.
Great views and cool servers . Place is a little unorganized but it’s located at the boat dock with a lot of tourist walking through the place . The alcohol drinks are weak don’t waste the money . The food was delicious . I loved my burger and fries . My girl had a seafood combo and ate every bite . Overall a cool place to eat after taking a boat tour or shopping in the strip it’s located in .
Drinks are extremely pricey as well as the food for the portions. Now I wouldn't mind paying the price for the food if the portions were fine but it was not up to par. The food taste was great. Everything was fine. They have a lively atmosphere and they on the water. Great scenery. Not much to ask for.
It is a great location restaurant, but the food was just ok. I had the churasco. It was almost cold, hard it fell like plastic, Rice didn't taste fresh. Presentation was awkward .Too expensive for such a tasteless food. Waiter changed his attitude when we didn't order any alcoholic just soft drinks. They had added a 20% tip on the bill so he didn't care to check on us.
Down on the river walk heaps of eateries to choose from. Noisier in the evening boat cruises are in and out its the very popular place to be includes lots of low to top end shopping band plays most nights. Certainty go there. DOWN side smoking allowed in outside eating areas. We had a cigar smoker sit next to us and had to move tables
I sat at the bar for almost 10 mins the bartender did not bother to say anything to us, we went to get a table the drinks menu don't have no price so expect to pay over $20 for a drink and we had to chase the waitress for the check. Supposed to get 10% after the cruise did not get it.
we had salamon, ceaser's salad and rio di mare pasta. fish and chicken were dry and pasta overcooked. nice location, but food is average.
Food was good....but service was long . The oysters were fresh snd the fishes were good too. So that s a 5 stars for the chef....but a 3 stars for the service.
1. Food was ok 2. Outside seating could use more fans 3. Drinks were off, either using bad ingredients, or just made wrong
Medium quality service, I've waited a while for my order even though there were only two tables. The staff attire and presence should be improved a little bit, it might be useful a little bit more training.
Had the calamari and ceviche for an appetizer and they were both great. Unfortunately to be disappointed by over cooked lobster and over cooked grilled shrimp. The only thing good with our entree was the scallops.
Although food was delicious (with the exception of rice and beans) the scallops were room temperature the lobster tail luke warm and the grilled shrimp slightly hotter. Meal not hot enough and should have been timed better. Wasn't busy so meal temperature shouldn't have been an issue.
I'm reminded why I haven't been to this harbor since I moved here.Typical tourist spot and food fare. Reasonable prices for sub-par food at best. Nice view of the marina, but it isn't the cleanest/prettiest marina in Miami. The whole outdoor mall could use a solid clean up and makeover. Overpriced restaurants surround with dirty umbrellas out front. Overall I'm not impressed nor would I pay to eat here again.
Right on the water. Cool location but the service was slow. Food came even more slowly. Issue I have, it was not even a busy evening so the food should have come quickly. If you have time to burn, super patient, then give this place a try. Otherwise, if you do not need a view and just want a quick bite, pass this place up. Too much time sitting waiting for food.
Decent food, cool location right on the water, terrible service from waiters though. Our meal took forever to order, forever to get and then we couldn't even get the check either. A little work on their wait staff would make a huge difference.
Based on the other reviews and the 4.0 rating on Google I was excited to try this place. After trying it, I am not sure how it received such a high rating! When we sat down we asked the waitress if the fish was fresh, she responded that she couldn't lie to us and the fish was frozen. Then she said she had to check to make sure she was telling us correctly. She then said the kitchen said all fish was fresh. Some of the food (the fresh fish) was really good, while the rest (the frozen food) was not very good. The other reviews about them expecting 18% or more in tips is correct, their machine requires extra work to change the tip below 18%. While the service was ok, it wasn't worthy of a tip on this scale. Given the location I would have thought the food would have been a home run. I would avoid this place and try somewhere else.
Food was great. But waiter thought he was slick or he was just plain stupid. Acted like he didn't know what gratuity meant and tried to get bigger tip. I work in service industry so I tip generously but I also do math!! Other than that it was nice .
When we ordered our lunch, we also ordered a vodka tonic. Our server did not ask if we wanted a specific vodka, which is a very usual question asked by your server/bartender. We always respond that we'd like the bar vodka. Unless we're having a Martini; then we "call" our liquor. When we finished eating, our bill came, and the vodka tonic was priced for a Grey Goose vodka tonic for $16. We questioned that $16 drink charge as we didn't order a "called" vodka drink. Our sever, #668 Shawn, replied that the Grey Goose is the "only vodka they serve". We asked him to speak to the bartender or manager about that, because Grey Goose is definitely NOT a well vodka. Our server returned with a corrected check which charged us a "well vodka" for the normal price of $13.00. We even showed our server a receipt from another dining establishment a few doors away where their charge for a well vodka tonic was only $12.00 Last, but not least, Tradewinds Bar & Grill computes their TIPS on the total bill AFTER the tip is added in. This is NOT LEGAL! Consumers do NOT tip on the sales tax of food and/or alcohol. Shame on you! So, if you ever go to this restaurant, make sure you're not overcharged for a drink you didn't order and recalculate your tip BEFORE tax. Good luck!
Food was good. I wouldn’t say great. I would of liked a heads up that the steamed clams were the size of a soft ball. They were very chewy. The hangover burger was good and everyone I was with seemed to say there food was fine. Pricey if you’re going to get anything besides sandwiches but to be expected in that area of the city. Not sure how much faith I would put in the rest of the seafood after being surprised by the clams.
Espero mejore esa actitud.
Food was ok, but service totally sucked. Waitress basically took our order and never came back. Food runner brought order and she never asked if it came out ok, did we need anything, etc. Had to find her to get the check. So annoyed!!!
Nice setting by the water, but the drinks are tasteless and watered down. Food and drinks are expensive like everything around and they charge you for extra dressing!!!
The cocktails were overpriced. The waiter, Yuri described three sizes of mojitos inaccurately, and when the drinks were served, the medium sized drink actually looked like an extra large drink costing $30! The steamed clams were very tough and disappointing. When I called the restaurant to discuss my experience, the person that answered was not helpful and was actually very rude. I will not be returning to the restaurant and I will not recommend it to anyone else.
We would have given the experience 1 star, but the waitress service and wait time was not bad...but that was it! They should not serve drinks. They are watered down, full of sugary mixes, and tasted cheap...it’s like they put sour mix in everything. Being in Miami with all of the cultural influences, they failed making 2 simple iconic drinks...the mojito, and the margarita. Our waitress tried her best to take care of us, so she asked the bartender to come out...but he came to the table with an attitude, and then told us that he doesn’t have fresh limes...he uses lime juice concentrate. SERIOUSLY? No real limes... in Florida? Next, the items we ordered were hit and miss. We ordered the conch fritters, grilled mahi, grouper sandwich, and sliders. The fried calamari was acceptable, but the rest was 5 out of ten. They should take the conch off the menu...It tasted like rubber band bits in batter. The grid grouper tasted like they forgot to put salt or pepper, and was greasy. We based our decision to come here on reviews, so maybe this will help the next travelers decision, or prompt the manager to do something...ate not to waste our money, tipped our waitress, never to return...
Nice atmosphere, but food and drinks were disappointing. I ordered the grouper sandwich. I love grouper and when I see it on the menu I almost order it. I was very disappointed. It had a string fishy taste and smell, not typical for grouper. I ordered their famous Coronita. A whopping $36 margarita in a plastic souvenir cup with two mini corona bottles face down in it. All I tasted was a lot of margarita mix. For $36 I better be cringing from the taste of tequila, not margarita mix.
While the setting overlooking the marina is great, the service sucked. I asked for an unsweetened ice tea, and it was sweetened. I called the waiter over and he came back and said they were out of unsweetened so I said I'll just drink water. They had to be asked to give us plates for the crab pot. It took a while and then there was no claw cracker. Asked again and one finally arrived. Oh, and it turns out that I was charged for the iced tea. Won't be back.
Total rip off. $90 for 2 burgers and Ceasars salad. Rude waiter, was forcing me to tip her. Very bad experience.
Worst experience ever. I told the server I didn't like the food be refused to take it back. The rice was flavorless and the Manger said the same thing. Worst service and experience. My wife stomach was upset. WORST EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD PERIOD!!!!
Fraudulent enterprise. They lure you in with signs advertising cheap take-out mojitos, but they very deliberately left the prices of everything else off the menu. When the bill arrived we were shocked to discover that our margaritas cost $18 each! This is such a ripoff you may as well convict these people for theft. Learn from our mistake and stay well clear of these crooks!!
The place is terrible. The food comes after a long time and the manager is really rude. He threatend to call security because I didn't want to pay for something I didn't even receive. Worst restaurant in bayside and I don't plan on going back there
Horrible service, the worst in bayside. Don't bother ordering over the phone. When you go to pick up your order they just say ok and leave you waiting forever. As good as the food may seem they're horrible service completely kills your vibe.
PLEASE READ THIS! This place is CLOSED and has been replaced by a Chili's. They are still saying they are open on their Google page. I would give 0 stars if I could. Do not make the same mistake we did running around to find it.
The tall, bald waiter was rude throughout the evening on 4th of july and punched our credit card for a 18% gratuity on a $60 check... He certainly does not know the meaning of a tip.. after being so rude, he had the audacity to charge us a gratuity for a tip,we were gonna pay him cash for it,but he just went ahead & punched the card...i just left a detailed comment on Tradewinds instagram page too.. The owner must try and send these idiotic goons for some basic training so that they learn some manners else just throw them out.. You don't treat your customers this way,its insane... And he conveniently got away with it.. 4th of july celebrations were in full swing and we also had to leave on the boat ride, but he must learn how to treat women, and children and speak to them properly and not just throw his temper around.. Looked like a maniac to me,honestly... Coz he was rude to almost everybody .,if he happens to read this review,i would like to advise him to join some anger management classes ASAP... he needs it... Ps- I noticed a lot of previous reviews talk about the waiters being arrogant and rude and hoping for huge tips at this place, high time the management looks into this and save the name.. soon, this news will spread and you all might have a great loss of your good old customers just because of these idiotic goons who call themselves waiters and act like bosses...
Avoid at all costs. Worst service I've received in years. Server didn't like their tip (16% despite terrible service) so they returned with only a portion of my change. I've never seen anything like it.
Horrible service!!!!!! Definitely not a organized place at all, we were a party of 2 and they brought out one meal and the second 15 minutes later only because we had to ask about it.
The reviews aren’t that good, but it's close to my hotel and I was hungry. Sat at the bar, bartender took my drink order. I didn't get a menu, nor asked if I wanted one. After 10 minutes of staring at my phone while occasionally making eye contact with the bartender, I walked out. Didn't get my drink, didn't get a menu and didn't get any food... Maybe I looked like "El Cheapo," the guy who doesn't tip this evening?
If you want to receive bad service and have the staff argue with you after you complain, this is the restaurant for you! Our waiter was disinterested to the point of being rude. Heed the other warnings about the bad service. The food, while good, does not make up for the, "customer is always wrong" attitude of the staff.
I didn't like my service at all this Saturday. First off I didn't like the way my server was speaking to me while I was making an order. He sound like he didn't like doing his job and I was aggravating him. Then when I came back to pick up my food I decided to eat it there and he told me because I ordered it to go I can't sit there!!! I brought breakfast and the food wasn't even all that..I spent $17 on breakfast so I had no choice but to eat what I can. Lastly you would think the other workers are nice I don't know but they made me feel really uncomfortable by giving me looks like I did something wrong while I was leaving and when I simply said hi to the girls they just stared at me without saying anything .As a business owner myself I expected their employees to smile and greet customers. Well not at Tradewinds ! It will be my last time buying from them again! They don't make me feel comfortable & their attitude sucks.
Horrible! The server was slow. It took forever our food to arrive and our order was still incorrect. Our order came with fries that we didn't receive until after we ate and received the bill. When we complained to the manager, he didnt want to adjust the bill or rectify the situation. Instead, he disrespected us and called security.
Typical tourist trap, Decided to sit down for a drink and ordered a beer and my wife ordered a souvenir drink, shrimp appetizers. The shrimp look like the tiny ones you put in salad and there were only 5. We decided to go somewhere else to eat. Got the check and was shocked to see a $54 bill! turns out the souvenir cup (PLASTIC) WAS $30! asked the waiter to remove the glass and he refused, another waiter overheard the conversation and intervened, our waiter started yelling at him right in the middle of the patio
Came in with my friend and ordered 2 appetizers off the happy hour menu because we wanted to go around trying different foods. A family behind us came in later and got their entire meal. We were forgotten.
Location is good. However service is mediocre at best. There were only 3 tables full when we sat down and it took them 30 minutes for 2 burgers. The waitress was ignoring us and took another 10 minutes for the check and a box to go.
We got 2 non-alcoholic strawberry drink, cost us over $20. They didn't have prices listed so we had no idea it would be that much. 1 drink was $5 the other was $13 it had no alcohol and was supposed to have bananas but they were out so it didn't. This was same price as drinks with alchohol. I would not recommend this place at all
The only reason why I even gave this place one star is because I needed to rate it in order to review. Everything here is overpriced, tip is included in your bill and is very high as well especially for lazy waitresses that rush you to place an order instead of giving you time to decide. I would never recommend this place to anyone unless you don't mind getting cheated. If you want better tasting food for a reasonable price, please do yourself a favor and go upstairs to Los Ranchos restaurant.
The only good thing about this place is the location. The sign above the bar says mojito $ 9. If you sit at the coffee table, the prices are two times higher (= $ 18) and no one warns you. The waitress was angry that we only ordered drinks. Asked why she did not say that the prices were twice higher at the table, she only smiled sarcastically. When I said it was a scam, she just said I was right! Ugh... Do not be fooled, there are other better places in Miami with honest service, not such cheating and rude as here.
Friendly at first but the main came out way to fast we hadn't finished our starters yet. I ordered the sliders (3 for 10) and got 4 (for 12). Barely onions let alone other toppings... When we paid we were 'reminded' that we should pay the service charge although it was not quite ok. Never going back there!!
Sat down and there were 4 waitresses at the cash register. No service. Went to the bar to order drinks and bartender states we have to go through our waiter. What waiter... they are all on their phones. One is actually sitting on the counter next to the register. Finally a girl with an actual work ethic waits on us but says our assigned waiter will deliver our food. Guess who is getting our 20%+tip
Tips are not included. I decided to tip $5. The server comes and say I will have to add money because minimum is 18%. Nothing states that in the check. And of course, gratuity is not included. Never seen that before in my life. I have to tip a minimum which the server is telling me how much. I ask to talk to the manager and she said I can’t talk to him today because he is “in a bad mood”. Seriously?
The menus were dirty. The beer was serve in a paper cup. We had to wait for almost an hour to get the dinner. And the tip, for this kind of service there shouldn't be any tip, but we had to pay a tip of 18% . They were triying to charge 20%. At least the food was fine . The mahi mahi in macadamia was delicious 😋
Recent visit here on a Sunday, midday. Service was terrible (20+ minutes before we got our server to take our order), no utensils were brought to the table with food, could not find waiter to get them so I got them myself from the wait stand. Food portions were very small and overpriced compared to other local establishments.
My husband and I ate here sat March 9. The waiter was excellent. Food was good. When we got back to the hotel I was reviewing my bill. The itemized food totals didn’t agree with the final total. I added up the total should have been $75.50. But the total said $80 something. I went back the next day and asked for the manager to get an explanation. He looked at my receipt and said it should be taxes. But there was no itemized line that said that. He was very rude and said to come back when they weren’t so busy. And just brushed me off. I asked when are you not busy. So I left. Like I have time to come back. I was there at 2:30
Great atmosphere, and that's about it. There was no one sitting at the bar, so I order a domestic draft beer. After asking the bartender five times for the tab, and being ignored, I decide to begin consuming my beverage. Once he acknowledged me, he tells me the beer is $10 and change. After verifying the cost, I paid. I inquired about the price of a larger container of the same beer. It was a much better value, which I stated to the bartender in a friendly manner. He sarcastically agreed. Bottom line, if one wants to get ripped off with a nice atmosphere, this is the place to go.
As tourists new to this wonderful city we were excited to be able to get a table close to the water and be able to watch the busy bustle of amazing marina life! However, after trying to get the attention of a waiter to serve us we gave up and my husband went to the bar himself! Later we did engage in conversation with a waiter who spoke very little and did not look interested in serving us for food and further drinks at all! It is incredibly deflating when such a beautiful place has people serving who are either plain ignorant or just down right rude! We will not be repeating this experience again that’s for sure shocking really and probably won’t go down too well with employers. It costs nothing to be polite and have manners.
Wait time was around an hour to get my food. I asked for No bacon and once it arrived it had bacon. They allegedly tried to make it right by taking the plate in the back and having a different server being it back out only 3 minutes later. They picked the bacon off the same plate and pretend like it was a new plate. I would not recommend this place if you want quality food service.
I used to like this place until today when the waitress demanded a 25% tip, first off service wasn't good, she didn't write down the orders so first she forgot 3 waters, then forgot the lemons for the water, forgot to bring an extra plate, the food took forever. The lady lied and said her manager demanded the 25% tip, last I thought tips were for good service and managers don't demand suggested tips at the bottom of the receipts. On top of that the steak sandwich was awful, best thing was the oriental salad. They just lost my business
Some friends and I decided to visit this establishment on the last night of our trip to Miami. As good the food, the service is terrible. In fact, went to ask a guy who ended up being our waiter a question. While she did, we got a table. The waiter rolled his eyes & huffed as we took a seat (not realizing that my friend who was asking him a question, what a part of our group). She proceeded to ask him was there an issue & of course he said, no. However, the entire time we were there, he was slow and rude to the point where we asked him was he okay? Had to ask multiple times for refills, after coming back to the table at least three times his reason for not having my drink was that the lemonade was not a free refills that's why he has not bought me another one. In which I responded that I did not ask whether or not it was free, I asked for another drink, if I wanted to know or cared if it was free refills or not, I would have asked that. Lastly, while ringing us up with the hand held card machine, he didn't give anyone time to insert their card before he snatched it out our hands and did it himself. Customer service is everything. Not matter how great the food is, great food will never out weight customer service. If you don't like your job, then you need to find a new one, that is not the customers fault. If you have an issue with certain ethnic groups, then you need to find another job, because employees like those make the business look bad. Word of mouth is powerful. There is a reason every one loves chic fil a, because they make customer service their TOP priority. I typically do not leave long reviews, but the service was just that bad. Again, GREAT food but I will not return next time I'm in Miami. Nor will I recommend to family & friends.
Apesar de tener una excelente ubicación y vista el servicio prestado no es el mejor, por un almuerzo regular estuvimos esperando 50 min y para remediar la espera nos regalaron y un postre por el que esperamos 10 min. Por este motivo doy esta puntuación.
