Was visiting some family in Miami and came here for a caipirinha!! The place is just beautiful and awesome atmosphere!! And the best caipirinha I ever had

Fantastic food, friendly management and staff!! Went to Viva Brazil Signature for lunch my family, Luciano, was a great host. The staff was friendly, professional and bilingual. Now on to the food. . .Fantastic... the meats were amazing, with a variety of side dishes such as the Crisp Yucca Bites, and the Artisan Grilled Sausages. The Prime NY Steak and Angus Beef are a must try! There is also a full bar which also serves traditional Brazilian beer which I tried for the first time. This was not our first Brazilian steakhouse visit but this experience was SUB-PAR! Not to mention the breathtaking Inter-Coastal waterfront view. Thank you again Luciano for this fantastic family lunch experience.

One of the best places on sunny Island, if you think of a romantic place with a good atmosphere and good food, you definitely have to go to this place, it is very beautiful both inside and out, although in my opinion the fact that being close to side of the Bay with that beautiful view and those lights make the place become majestic, I am very grateful to Sebastian who made us spend a magical evening and if I told you about the food I would have to add 3 more paragraphs. visit and find out on your own.

Five 5 Five 5 Five! Caipirinhas tasted very good. We were wondering which brand of cachaca was used. Very good. Scallops - perfect! Bisque - very flavorful. Entrees - WOW! Wait staff very attentive. They even politely smiled at our bad Portuguese! We will definitely be back. Great job!

Wonderful restaurant, authentic Brazilian food. Every dish we ordered was delicious. Escondidinho, picanha, farofa, rice and beans. The crispy yucca bites are fried into perfection. Dulce de leche crepes for dessert is a must. Great service and beautiful ambiance.

We had several steak plates, that were all cooked to the perfect temperature. The Burrata in their appetizers was amazing! I've had my fair share of Burratas, and that one was definitely on the top of my list. All servers were friendly and helpful in their recommendations. The outside ambience was perfect. We sat outside and got to watch the boats leave the dock and it started raining and the deck covering made sure we stayed dry while we ate, since aren't from Miami, I recommend anyone visiting to try Viva Brazil.

My wife and I had an excellent dinner at Viva Brazil Signature on 3/20/2021. We started off with the appetizer, Crab Dip Fondue. The appetizer was hot and loaded with crab. The portion was more than enough for two people. Our entree was Lobster Corvina. Layered goodness with creamed spinach, mashed potatoes, Corvina fish, topped with Lobster meat. Our finishing touch was a delicious crepe filled with caramel, covered with caramelized sugar, accompanied by a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a dollop of fresh whipped cream. Our server Victor, was very helpful, friendly, and not over bearing.

This hidden gem in the intercostal Mall off Northern Miami Beach at 163rd Street is worth the trip. The food and food presentation is top notch. No doubt the place is great for either outdoor or indoor dining. As it is by the intercostal it is usually fresh outdoors. The food is great, the dishes are big and very easy to share. The staff is friendly and attentive and the cairpinhas are worth every penny! Also I recommend the passion fruit mousse desert.

the place is very cozy, the attention was very good, there was a quinceañera event, it is good that offer was independent on the terrace, the best Mojitos were very delicious, all the dishes were delicious, we tried the yucca bites, the salsa de the yucas were delicious, the cheese empanadas very crispy. The tomahawk was on point, the polenta was first time and I absolutely loved it. We close with a cappuccino. I will definitely come back.

I recently dined at viva italian american and I have to say, the highlight of the evening was the exceptional service from Luis. From the moment we arrived, he was attentive, friendly, and made us feel welcome. Luis went above and beyond to ensure our experience was perfect—he gave excellent recommendations, was quick to respond to any requests, and his professionalism truly stood out. It’s rare to find such warm and efficient service, and it made the meal all the more enjoyable. I will definitely be returning, thanks to Luis’s outstanding hospitality!

We had a great time. Alejandro was our server. Very polite, and friendly. He gave us good menu recommendations and was checking on us during the 2 hours that we were there. The service was very courteous and prompt. However, the food deserves special consideration due to flavors and generous portions presented to the patrons. Also, the caipirinhas were fantastic. Refreshing prepared with natural ingredients and the right quantity of cachaca. The music could have been a bit better . Went here for a wedding reception. Wholly- smokes. I live in Delray Beach and due to proximity reasons could not come all the time, but these people earned my business and captured my heart. The food is just too freaking incredible. And the views to the intercostal are incredibly enjoyable. Its was a Sunday afternoon vacation for me. I highly recommend it.

I wish I could give it 10 stars. This is definitely my new favorite! The decor is classy yet very homey, with a touch of rustic. The food was absolutely delicious. Ribs melt in your mouth, and Brazilian rice with mushrooms is the best side dish one could wish for. Be careful, though: this food is incredibly filling! The portions are generous, but I personally was done half through the plate. The bar needs a separate praise. I ordered a mojito, and that was hands down the best mojito I've had in the last few years. Last but not least, the service is great. Special thanks to Eduardo the manager, the most wonderful person and a very gracious host. Suffice it to say that I asked for a double espresso and then got caught in a conversation. After a minute or two, I turn around to grab my coffee, and what do I see? Eduardo has already taken it away and is brewing me a fresh cup of espresso! This is the level of service you don't experience every day. The bottom line is, this place is absolutely wonderful, and I look forward to the next time.

I've been there twice and I loved it! The food presentation is impeccable and the taste is amazing. The slow roasted rib is delicious!!! My favorite starters were the cheese with sugar cane reduction and the yuca with garlic and passion fruit sauce!

Went Sunday with my 90 and 91 year old Mom and Aunt. The hostess was very professional and sweet and accommodated us outside away from everyone for Covid safety. The deck is lovely, the food was good and the service, especially from one of the owners was extra special special. First time here but we will return!

All 10’s across the board. Everything was amazing. Service was great. The staff was very attentive and accommodating towards everyone’s needs. The owner Luciano even took the time to come by the table to ensure everything was perfect and it was more than perfect. The food was really good and authentic and our server Gabriel was so nice and so cute. I love that dude. The atmosphere was also really beautiful and decorated well with beautiful views of the miami buildings on the outside patio. 100/10 definitely recommend.

Luciano was amazing! The food was unbelievably delicious, every single dish out did the next from appetizer to desert. The atmosphere, service and food were THE best myself and my party of 7 ever had. We are all well travelled people and have had the opportunity to explore different gastronomical experiences and Viva gained a spot on our top favorite restaurants. It is hard to have a large party agree equally on items in a diner experience however every single one of us were impressed with each dish. And a plus for some might be how beautiful and instagramable Viva is.

Fantástico asador brasileño. Excelente lugar con una preciosa terraza con vistas a la bahía. El trato del personal inmejorable. Sus recomendaciones fueron del todo acertadas tanto en los aperitivos que fueron variados y de una gran calidad como en los cócteles y comida. Pero no puedo seguir sin recalcar el espectacular sabor , presentación y exquisitez de sus platos . Uno de los motivos por los que fui fue por las costillas Brontosaurios Ribs y me lograron sorprender completamente para bien. Su textura , corte y sabor mejor de lo que nunca me pude imaginar. Y no puedo despedirme sin mencionar sus deliciosos postres . Para finalizar sólo puedo decir para el restaurante en completo un gran WOW. Recomendado 💯

We happen to stumble upon this place as we were planning on eating elsewhere but saw the cuisine and couldn't resist. Honestly, there was a point I thought I was going to leave because we sat at our table for over 20 minutes with no waiter nor water in site but decided to stay. We were finally waited on and our lunch came out pretty fast. I had the escondidinho or hidden in English(translation) which was an exquisite beef covered by entirely with mashed potatoes, it's a must try. My son had the picanha which he ordered medium and came out well done, he ate it anyway as we were famished while my wife had the lobster and corvina which she liked but wasn't crazy excited about it. The views, ambiance and selection is what makes this place great.

The food was excellent ! The view was ehh I wish there were no bushes covering the amazing view. One thing that I did not like was that they charged us the gratuity for only me and my husband without my consent and when I asked I came to find out that the tips do not go to the servers it goes to the owner! How crazy is that 🤦🏻‍♀️ But I was told that the workers get treated very well and also get fed so ehh I guess it’s a win win thing from both sides in different ways. But anyways besides all that it was a very lovely place to go dine in to.

The staff was very engaging and friendly. Also, their knowledge of the menu options was on point. The Tomahawk steak was superb. We would recommend this steak choice. Our 20th anniversary was a hit! Excellent choice for date night.

La comida le falta mucho de largo el servicio la disfraza bien ya que los chicos súper amables cálidos, atentos, serviciales y la atmosphera es muy divertida, pero la comida muy baja calidad, las empanadas olían a grasa y sabían a grasa guardada, los tacos de cangrejo era más salsa que cangrejo, las alitas se salvan en algo. El vino lo sirven en copas chiquitas ya no se usa eso… !

The food was very good but the service was not. We definitely felt that we were not important and had to flag down other servers to get refills of another glass of wine-even our dinners- we had to find someone to check into why it was taking so long. They weren’t busy at all-the inside seating was almost completely empty. There was a large group that was also seated outside near us, and the entire waitstaff seemed only focused on that group. We didn’t even ask for anything extra of unusual. Very disappointing. We won’t be back.

Food was good. Service was friendly, but slow, especially for a pretty empty Friday night meal. I asked numerous times for a glass of tap water and they kept trying to bring paid bottles of water. Also watch out for 20% service fee automatically applied to your check. They’re hoping for an additional tip on the receipt that you won’t notice.

I took my son for his 16th bday bc he likes to eat meat, and I regret it so much. The one steak was over cooked and the other rare, the potatoes were not even fully cooked and the Steaks lacked salt. Service wasnt good at all, and they included a 20% tip. Very disappointed and i would never go back not recommend it to anyone

Ok, let's start this review: Came to this place on a saturday to try the announced "brazilian feijoada". Beautiful ambiance and a very nice gentleman at the front desk took me to my table. Overall service is mediocre. You can tell that no one there is professional. Just young kids that have no clue about food and wine or hospitality in general. Menu is totally overpriced I may add. The feijoada was good actually but to finish my experience I was told that I couldn't take the leftovers home with me. This is the first restaurant I have visited with that strange "rule". My question is: why? Are they really throwing all that food away? I have no idea but I won't come back to this place neither recommend anyone to come here. Good luck to this new place that started in a very unique way.

It’s Valentine’s Day I get it. You’re expecting a crowd. But it’s 6pm for two early bird parents and their toddler. We’re not here to . . . Wait maybe that was the issue. And you knew there was a 20% auto gratuity, so you didn’t even have to try. First up, server asked my wife not to put her oversized diaper bag on the bench we were was sitting because that seat would be taken by the future patrons. The restaurant had four seated parties none of which were seated a block from us. To not belabor the point, the place is subpar. Our order: Appetizer: artisanal sausage Entrees: steak and fries, filet medallions with pasta, kids pasta with picanha Meanwhile Some delicious smelling fries come through a free I had ordered my steak and fries. When I asked if I could make my fries the truffle version, she said the kitchen isn’t taking any subs tonight. I mean, at 8pm when the kitchen is slammed I understand. But I’m one of 10 ppl here. Then the food arrives. Both pastas were oily and bland. Steak and fries, best part was the fries (even if they were basic). Steak was oily too. Best part was kids steak which was better executed and seasoned. To conclude, there are too many restaurants in North Miami Beach to revisit this place. And far better Brazilian restaurants in greater Miami to recommend us at all.

One of the worst experiences ever. We were on a road trip for almost 27 hours and when we got there, the only thing we needed was some food. The hoster didn't know what she was doing... gave an attitude to a coworker in front of us and finally gave us the advice to go to another place so we could be better serviced.

When I asked the server for the manger , she (manager) told me that “sorry they are busy” in a rude way, restaurant wasn’t even full we were the last ones to leave due to our food being incredibly late. super unprofessional. SERVER Victor super sweet I felt bad it wasn’t his fault I would Not be coming back here the food wasn’t even worth it the only good thing here was the server .

Terrible customer service on the boat dock. They don’t care about your boat, not only they charge you $20 per hour of docking for customer to eat, but also they move your boat with no care at all. I’m very disappointed and will not return ever again. I will let all my friends know and every website I can share my experience I will. Boaters know how much you take care of your boat for these careless people to just come and damage it. I had my bumpers on, and they moved my boat with no care at all to notice the bumpers were on to avoid any damage. I called the manager and he came with his flat attitute stating that since the boat is on the water, its not his problem. But how come they charge you for docking? And also they touch your boat to move it and dock others. Very unprofessional people and what a disgusting experience.

HORRIBLE. Service was HORRIBLE. Took an 1 1/2 to get our food, we ordered the surf and turf with truffle fries, lobster smelt like chlorine and ammonia, steak was FULL of fat barely any meat. Took longer for the drinks to come out then the appetizers we ordered. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone even if I hated them!

If I could put a 0 I would... the restaurant is beautiful but the food is horrible, I order chicken stroganoff with rice and truffles potatoes, needles to said the rice was the only thing that was ok,the so call truffle fries were stick potatoes you use for steak or club sandwiches and not even truffle salt on top,the chicken were large chunks and a sauce with ketchup and maybe heavy cream I am not sure... one of my friends order the chicken braised with fingerling potatoes and vegetable so they bring a chicken breast raw in the middle no potatoes and vegetables...another person order a salad with steak, the steak was OK but the salad was wilted and old.... we ask the waitress to cook the raw chicken breast and at the same time we ask what happen to the potatoes and the truffles fries then she told me that those potatoe stick were the truffles fries, ask for the bill super overpriced for that kind of food the waitress offer a complimentary dessert that we don’t need... all you have to do is honor your menu and go over your recipes and be honest!!! Terrible experience there are fantastic restaurant all over Miami you are a shame....

Just horrible. Primarily the waiter was just bad. Very bad. Food is maybe ok. Meat was not cooked to directions. Worst part is when confronted the waiter threw a fit cursing the entire galaxy walked away leaving us with no attendance for 15 minutes. What did management do: nothing. They said it’s normal they were just busy. Never come here. You will regret it. Even 1 star is too many.

We came for dinner with a party of 10 people. Ordered drinks and food. Requested regular water. The waiter informed us that because of the hurricane, the tap water was not clean, they don't have a water filter of any kind, and the only drinkable water they have is bottled. For which he charged us $8 a liter. Ridiculous. I'm pretty sure it's illegal for a restaurant with a liquor license to sell alcohol and not provide regular water. Go to Costco and buy a few gallons. Insanity.

Bad experience. Misleading menu and slow service. Scallops were smelly and sandy and far from "jumbo" size, as the menu said. The mash potatoes cold. The Chicken Stroganoff with truffle potatoes was just uneven pieces of chicken with some salty simple sauce and potato sticks! (The chips for sanwiches). I paid close to 100 dollars and they included 20% tip. Absolutely over priced. Not coming back. I hate to write a review like this but they MUST improve.

I ordered a “meat escondidinho” and it was really bad! smashed potatoes seemed bought, industrialized. The escondidinho only had cooked meat sauce, strange taste, and only 6 little pieces of meat. The waitress handed me a side of rice, after I had already served myself she took it from me and took it to someone else. There were 5 of us, each dish came at a different time, it means we couldn't have dinner together, each one ate looking at the other. The bathroom was filthy. The food is expensive for a bad quality food. Rice was horrible.

Worst experience! Food is way overpriced (2 family steak platters) was ALL fat, disgusting. No service, we had to ask three or four times to please refill our waters & only once they came after our 4th time asking. (Mind you we are sitting outside in extreme heat) Staff is rude & to top it off we were INSULTED when we didn’t want to purchase any of the fotos they took of us while we were sitting in the table. A training guy couldn't understand to take my entrée orders so he needed help from the blonde hair girl. And guess what!? I ended up waited almost an hour for my entrée. Ridiculous. Couldnt sit there any longer to eat when the food came out. The most ridiculous part was the check comming out with 20% tip included. Does it worth it for a service like that? I always give good tips to good service, but not here. They were overall polite can't deny that. But there is a big problem with the way they run their business. Viva Brazil is not a cheap place but the way I was treated feel so cheap.

We had a family gathering there so I got to try few plates, the drinks didn’t had a good taste, Caipirinha, Mojito and Margarita, the appetizers where not very good, except for the bang bang shrimp, the Salmon with spinach had a terrible flavor, the Picahna didn’t taste good and the Tomahawk steak looked amazing but lacked on flavor and was extremely greasy. The service was terrible, very slow and every time they bring a plate or drink they ask who ordered this or that, even left items in the table without knowing who ordered, the side dishes came way before the main dish so by the time the Steak arrived the sides dishes where cold. I think the worst was that they automatically added 20% tip to the bill even with that bad service, needles to say it was my first and last time there!

Half a star isn’t possible.My server was barely seen and did not treat us with respect. The male server in his late 30s had us waiting over 45 for our food (most of it was cold). He had to be chased down to bring us our bill, which had to be paid at the front desk. When the tossed the bill on the table and walked away without asking us if we wanted desert if we wanted anything. I knew it was a sign that he did not want us to stay long. I will NEVER tell anyone to go to VIVA BRAZIL SIGNATURE ! The taste of the food was ruined because of the service. Oh yeah he Never apologized we had to hear it from another employee.

We ordered steaks medium well they came burned, very well done. Food was late we canceled our appointment just waiting for the food. Worst steak I have ever had in my life. Finally the bill came almost 400$... No one enjoyed. The view is nice but nothing else us worth it. If there is zero I would have gave zero for this restaurant. Never ever in my life.i even have a stomach pain

The ambience was spectacular. Appetizers were OK. But, when we come somewhere to have filet mignon and lobster tail, we absolutely have the expectation of them being cooked properly the first time. Highly disappointed in the quality of the chefs preparation of the filet & lamb chops. Nothing should have to be cooked more than twice or once for that matter. Without taking anything away from the service team, the management did not acknowledge or correct the poor quality of the meal that was served. I will go back to the service team who was phenomenal. expectations were not met for a $500 meal. Hope things get better.

I had a such disappointing experience on my birthday party. Service was terrible. When we got there, the server told they would only be able to serve 3 options out of the menu because the kitchen was not capable to make whatever we order, even though the restaurant was empty. Everything was so overpriced and the food was not even tasting good. I order a truffle past and the taste was terrible, I could not even finish eating it. I felt so embarrassed in front of all my friends on birthday because of the terrible service. When you paying that much to eat somewhere, at least you expect to receive good service, specially when 20% tip is automatically included on the final bill. My guests were not even done eating and the server was rushing us to pay and leave the place. It felt like they were doing a favor to have us there, even though place was empty and we paid more than $1200 at the end for the food. We were all there for the first time, and for sure none of us are going back ever again to that place.

Terrible, Terrible. Terrible. The worst restaurant in Miami. The management doesn’t know how to run a restaurant. Food is overpriced for the quality you get. Service I don’t know how to explain so disappointed. Was my daughter and my birthday I planned to have a wonderful dinner with my family party of 8. So disappointed the music like you were at an sports restaurant not a fine dining restaurant. The staff very unfriendly. Poor food. I don’t have a single good word to say. I don’t like to give bad reviews. We going out for dinner every weekend. We love nice restaurants good food but this one deserves bad reviews. I will never get back and I will not recommend it to anyone. Not testing food Service very bad Staff dressing like they’re working for Wendy’s The Owner haven’t clue about what a fine restaurant is.

TERRIBLE customer service and TERRIBLE food. Paid A LOT of money for the waiter to be extremely petty and the food to taste like charcoal. We went last night, big party. Our dessert (we ordered one for the table) took 45 minutes to get to the table. There was probably 3 or 4 more tables. Our food was terrible, this is the worst picanha I’ve ever had in my life. And we’re Brazilian so we know how it’s supposed to taste. They did not take things off our bill that we complained about and THERE WAS AN INCLUDED TIP THAT WAS STILL CHARGED AFTER COMPLAINING TO THE OWNER/MANAGER… insane!!!! Don’t waste your time…. There are better places like Farofa and Area Code 55 you will eat better and pay a GREAT price!!!!

The food was extremely salty Could not finish the ribs. It taste like they were trying to reserve room with so much salt.

Spending over $150 per person we expected much better food quality. You should never have to cook a filet twice or lamb chops three times to get it right. Medium is medium we all know what that means. I am not a complainer nor do I ever put bad reviews for anyone ever but this had to be known. The service was exceptionally good if I had anything nice to say. Management failed to recognize the problem and nothing was corrected. I did not expect a discount, I would never do that but at least recognition that the mistake was made. With all of this said, clearly there are other very good reviews, so maybe this was a one-off. But, this should not happen at this high quality of a restaurant
