Frequently asked questions about XO Espresso Bar
XO Espresso Bar Miami Reviews
They have unique flavors like salted caramel, and tiramisu latte, which brought is here to their location. Drinks were crafted and balanced really well. They informed us that they use heavy cream or some of the drinks we ordered. We generally get all our drinks with oat milk and can do a little bit of dairy, but this amount of Dairy didn’t agree with us, but that’s on us because we were given fair warning about the heavy cream-something to be mindful of. They also seemed to have some good pastries, but we didn’t have any room in our tummy for those. Good place to visit if you’re looking for refined and special flavors.
Beautiful experience in the place, a super warm bar with very good energy. I can confirm that one of the best in Miami Beach. The coffee is delicious, one of my favorites in the place. Delfina is divine, super loving and her attention is unique. I fell in love with the bar, its people and the beautiful attention.
I finally found a place in South Beach that understands coffee and equals my passion. XO Espresso Bar is not your big coffee chain. They roast on site. They serve coffee in real cups and glasses. Their pastries and baked goods are fresh. The only downside is that it’s inside a food court, which makes some hard to find but once you do find them, you’ll keep coming back.
This is by far the best cafe in Miami! I am always greeted with a smile, and Axel makes my coffee with love. If you want a delicious coffee or matcha, great service, and love to support a small business, please try XO! They are dog friendly too ☺️
Stopped by for some coffee and a treat and loved everything. I usually don't go sweet with my coffee but I indulged and tried the Tiramisu latte - delicious! My wife got an iced chai latte and really enjoyed it. All of their baked goods looked fantastic, we went with the chocolate chip cookie and it was a 10/10. Definitely coming back.
"I love this place! The coffee is delicious and the service is top-notch. Axel and Delfí served me and they were super friendly and attentive. It has definitely become my favorite spot. Highly recommended!"
Very good coffee, well prepared and full of flavor, you can tell they care about quality. Definitely coming back 🤩☕️🤍
This is probably the best coffee around the Lincoln’s road. Axel and the girls are super friendly and always make an effort to make my day bette every time I stop by the coffee shop.
I LOVED everything about this cafe. I had an oatmeal cookie and a brownie, came again the following day to get more. I tried the pink salted caramel iced latte and it was a one of a kind type of drink. The barista (Axel) is the best, he definitely knows what he’s doing and prepared the drinks with such care. He provided with me different options to make sure I was happy with my order. If there was an xoespresso bar in nyc I’d go everyday.
Had a such Great time and a nice coffee. First class coffee machine. Delfina was nice, hope to come Back soon.
Best coffee I tried in Miami! Candela (barista!) is literally THE SWEETEST, and not only remembered me after one visit, but also my coffee order ☺️✨. Located in a cute indoor market, and lattes that aren’t overly sweet which is lovely. Great walkable location to lots of places (and the beach), and just the friendliest service, kind people, and good coffee. 10/10 Candela needs a raise!! People make a place, and she makes this one a spot of sunshine. Will be back on any future trips to Miami! Love.
we stayed in Miami for 6 nights and came across this coffee spot on our last day and it was by far the BEST coffee shop we found on our trip! so soo good! Soo many different flavors to add to your lattes!
We went to Xo because the reviews said they might just have the best coffee in southbeach and I would definitely agree. The service was fast and friendly and the prices were fair.
Excellet coffee option close to the touristy Licoln road. We tried their capuccino and an iced latte with macadamia milk, and they both tasted amazing. Didn't get a chance to try their other, more "exotic" beverages from the side menu, but may do it next time. Their pastries looked good too.
This is a very cute coffee shop! It is located inside a food hall which has amazing air conditioning. The service was outstanding, the barista was friendly and went above and beyond. The coffee itself is locally roasted and tastes wonderful. They have a small selection of pastries, and the two that we got tasted fresh and they were flavorful! Do yourself a favor and stop in to support a local shop!
XO Coffee Bar – A Hidden Gem with Unforgettable Lattes If you're looking for a coffee experience that goes beyond the ordinary, XO Coffee Bar delivers in every way. Their lavender latte is hands down the best in town — delicately floral, perfectly balanced, and smooth to the last sip. Equally impressive is their salted caramel latte, which strikes the ideal harmony between sweet and savory, with rich, buttery notes that feel indulgent without being overpowering. What truly sets XO apart is the quality of their coffee. Every cup is brewed with beans that are freshly roasted in-house, and you can taste the difference — bold, nuanced flavors that showcase the care and craft behind each roast. Beyond the drinks, the customer service is exceptional. The team is genuinely friendly, incredibly fast, and they somehow always remember your name and your order. Whether you're a first-timer or a regular, you're greeted with warmth and made to feel like part of the XO family. In short: XO Coffee Bar is more than a coffee stop — it's a community hub with top-tier drinks and standout service. Don’t miss it.
Yesterday I visited this place and Axel served me. He was very helpful and treated me very well. He made me a matcha that I loved! Thank you so much, Axel.
Thanks to a friends recommendation I tried this place and am super happy I did, great staff and most interesting drinks. Best tasting coffee I’ve ever had in south Florida!! They have all the classics and unique drinks, this place is a must!
As a Miami local, we know a thing or two about coffee. My go to is the cortadito with oat milk. Which is basically a shot of expresso with a hint oat milk and cinnamon. I purposely look for an excuse to stop by as the staff is always on point with how they make lt. I appreciate a place that knows you by name and they treat you right.
I went here on a weekend with my girlfriend and we loved it. The space is awesome and the Lincoln Eatery is such a cool spot. The employees were very upbeat and I really liked the vibe, not to mention the coffee was excellent! I got the cold brew and it is now my favorite cold brew to date. My girlfriend got their Macha which I tried and I don't typically like Macha, but this was really good. I am proud to say that I am now a regular as the cold brew has become the best part of my day.
This has been my go to, since they opened. After moving to nyc I still come back to this gem of a coffee house. I feel at home here. The staff is personable and the food and beverage top notch. Definitely the best in Miami Beach Miss Tina Xxx
I love XO Espresso Bar! The aesthetic is so beautiful and the customer service is amazing. Sofia makes THE BEST drinks you’ve ever had and I appreciate her effort making sure you have a wonderful experience and the most delicious drinks! I highly recommend!
I visit this coffee shop almost every day, and it’s truly the best part of my day! The coffee is hands down the best I’ve ever had. The staff are incredibly kind and remember my order every time. Their attention to detail, from the cleanliness to the quality of service, makes this my favorite coffee spot. I can’t recommend it enough!
This was a great find on my recent trip to Miami Beach. I wanted something local and less touristy, and they really hit the mark. I just got a basic iced latte, but y he espresso was DELICIOUS. The baked goods were also great. I went 3 mornings in a row, and they recognized me and remembered my order by the 3rd morning. 😂❤️ XO is located in a food hall, so there are other vendors to check out while you’re there and lots of indoor and outdoor seating. It’s a great atmosphere and located conveniently close to the shops on Lincoln Road. You should definitely check it out if you’re in the area!
You do not want to miss this espresso bar with the best and tastiest drinks I have had in the longest time. The owner is very hands on and really cares about customer satisfaction. The fact that he roasts his own beans at the shop is a huge plus (he told me he invested in a new roaster coming soon !!!) If you love coffee it’s a must try!!!
I love this place. Putting it into words- best coffee and baked goods on Lincoln road. Not only is it cute and aesthetically pleasing but the staff and team is just perfect. They are sweet, friendly, and kind. Very cool environment and vibe. Sofia is also just my favorite barista. She always kills it.! Try this out if your on Lincoln 100%!!!

Wonderful creative menu the activated charcoal latte was amazing ! Also have tried the tropical matcha ,the chai ,and the blue spiralina latte all delish
I recently ordered coffee from Xo Espresso Bar and had an excellent experience. I discovered the café on Yelp and was thrilled to receive a 20% discount on my order. The coffee was fantastic, and I will definitely be returning for more. The portions were generous, and I was pleased with my vanilla iced latte. The staff was also friendly, adding to the overall positive experience. During my trip to Miami, Xo Espresso Bar will likely become my go-to coffee shop. Overall, I highly recommend giving this café a try.
Very well made espresso! I had a Cortado served with beautiful heart latte art! Steamed perfect, brewed perfect, taste perfect!
This is absolutely the best coffee on the beach. The care they take to craft these drinks are next level. Axel especially takes care of all of his customers and makes the most insane coffees.
I‘be been in search of a descent cafe while visiting South Beach and can confirm this is the best spot within at least 5miles. They know how to pour a good tasting cup of coffee, comparable to European style of coffee, smaller sizes and smooth flavor. They offer fresh French pastries 🥐 and have a stylish coffee bar.
It’s a bit pricy but it’s worth it. The specialty lattes were so good. We got the chagaccino and the blue butterfly lattes, the barista was so kind in explaining the drinks and making recommendations for them. The chagaccino was the favorite of the drinks, each had caramel added and a shot of espresso to it. The bake goods were very good. We got the Nutella croissant and strawberry goat cheese croissant. The only complaint would be the fact there was a lot of filling in the goat cheese croissant (too much of a good thing) while the Nutella croissant had the Nutella sort of centered in the middle. Regardless, the drinks were beautiful, unique and overall a very creative and fun place.
Just happened to stumble in here today since I'm visiting from ATL. I asked the barista what she recommend I order since it was my first time here. She suggested I try the Chagaccino (chaga mushroom iced drink) and it did not disappoint. I normally opt for a cold brew or iced americano but wanted something with a little less caffeine so I can sleep and get on an early flight tomorrow. So glad I tried this!! I'll be back again soon!
I can pass by 50 coffee shops just to drink that delicious freshly roasted coffee. They roast their own coffee, apparently they are precise with their brew ratio because my coffee didn’t taste watery or bitter. Feels great to find a specialty coffee shop in Miami Beach. Their espresso is bold and acidity is just perfect. Kudos, great coffee.
I'm from NYC and have been struggling to find great espresso on Miami Beach until we found XO. The barista was on point and the small cappuccino came with two shots. The milk was textured perfectly and I felt like I was back home sipping on a delicious coffee. I hope more of the restaurants in the area will bring their espresso up to par.
I came to Miami from the place where the third wave of coffee houses are very developed. I used to drink purover or V60. From the beginning that was a nightmare to find a place with really taste coffee. But than I found the XO Espresso Bar!!! They are amazing! I’m working nearby so I’m an everyday visitor to that place! They have the most perfect brewed coffee and incredible cookies❤️I’m in love with that place
I LOVE THIS CAFE! Super friendly staff and quality coffee and patisseries at the cute Lincoln Eatery Food Hall. I love when I meet my ladies Sofia and Michelle in the morning who know what I order all the time! I love getting a hot chai latte here with macadamia milk. Today they offered for me to try the tiramisu iced latte and WOWZAAA so yummy!! Taste like the real deal!! I love XO bar :)
We are coffee snobs and this is possibly the best coffee/specialty coffee I’ve had. We typically stay away from gimmick and seeet drinks and the coconut cold brew and tiramisu latte were next level. Favorite coffee shop. Will be coming back here every time we’re in Miami
Cannot say enough good things about Alexa and Nancy! They took such good care of my friend and I. The drinks were definitely made with attention and love and the pastries from b bistro were incredible! Plenty of outdoor seating if you would like to sit around for a bit. Highly highly recommend!
Delphie is very nice and the entire staff is so kind and friendly. The latte's are so creamy and the coffee taste great. Thank you for always giving such wonderful service.
Avoid the line next door! This is the only place that you should get coffee in Miami Beach. The small but efficiently organized space has even its own high-tech coffee roaster. The medium and dark roasts are best. Plus the espresso machine itself is very high end, the Lamborghini of espresso machines! Do not go to Starbucks or any other wannabe, this is the real deal. I absolutely love this coffee place. Its a small and cozy spot. The music is very nostalgic for me. And the food and coffee is delicious. Its my go to stop for morning coffee! ☕️
Always a great stop when passing through Miami Beach. Good parking nearby, and Delfi makes a great coffee! Will be coming back for more on my next trip to this area.
Super cute spot inside the Lincoln Road food mall. I tried their tiramisu latte and it was absolute delicious! I loved the mix of flavors which were not overpowering or too subtle. We also tried the Spanish Latte which fantastic and very unique. The bakery items are a must try also especially their pumpkin loaf. I will say while the coffee and food was fantastic their service was lack luster. Overall great find.
Stopped by for a coffee and ended up really enjoying it. The coffee was very good, smooth and well made. Definitely one of those places I’d happily come back to.
Great coffee at a great price! This coffee is much better and more affordable than the bigger chains you find on the beach. I never have to wait more than 5 minutes for my coffee and they have great options. Baristas are always friendly and accommodating. This is quickly becoming my go-to spot.
He repetido mi experiencia de ir a XO muchas veces.
XO has a few locations around Miami. It looked like one of the few places that serves specialty coffee in South beach. Overall it’s a decent coffee shop. It’s easy to find at the entrance of a small food court. It’s around the corner from the main shopping strip of south beach. The space looks modern and has comfy seating inside and covered seating outside. The menu has what you’d expect from an espresso bar like this although they also had a list of specialty latte items. The Cortado was above average for Miami but was not anything noteworthy if you enjoy specialty coffee.
Coffee is amazon, best in Miami, but at 8 am when they open, they are BLARING music that makes even sitting outside unpleasant. Why can't this be turned down till lunchtime crowds come? Prices have gone up, but that's true everywhere. Nothing compares! Still, this music makes me not want to return. UNFORTUNATELY, if anything, the music has gotten louder and even more like a late night bar party, especially in the outdoor seating area, when it's 8 am now! It's not really reasonable to speak to anyone working here - it's just one basic person cleaning the whole place, and a woman at XO who his young and barely speaks English. I personally can't keep coming back for this great coffee at this time of day unless you all do something about playing this kind of loud music so early. They USED to play at least some mellow sounds, but now it's like blaring rock. For lunch or night crowds great, but not when I'm the only customer outside at 8 am! :)
Average experience. My capuccino was quite sad, tasted like Starbucks (nothing wrong with Starbucks, but I was expecting specialty coffee). The latte art was fine, which is what made me come in the first place, but the coffee was burnt, extremely bitter, even with milk. I’m sorry, maybe I was unlucky today.
I love this gallery, this place is cute and their espresso machine is beautiful, but that's it. The barista girl was rude with us, our coffee was horrible i had to throw a lot of sugar in because i couldnt drink it otherwise. Had a croissant which was definitely days old or just very bad, didnt even offer to heat it up a bit. Wont be wasting my money there again
had the most unpleasant customer service experience today at this espresso bar, anaphylactic to nuts, which they had in their display i explained that i was after an iced latte, and that i would like to make sure there was no chance any nuts or traces would make its way onto the outside of my cup or in my drink, no body else had ordered any drinks while i was standing there, and i saw the barista starting to pour syrups and things into the cups, concerned i asked him politely if that was what was in a latte, he scoffed and barked back at me that they weren’t my drinks and to go away. he was rude and ignorant of anaphylaxis, i felt unsafe drinking my drink and threw it in the bin. disgusting behaviour and poor customer service. take your money to someone who wants to make your experience enjoyable
I walked for ages to get to this place because of the high rating it has on Google, once I got here I ordered one of their signature drinks which is “matcha”. Funny enough it’s called an espresso bar but no coffee was part of their signature drinks. Nonetheless the drink was horrible, literally undrinkable and the waiter that took the order was equally unbearable from her rudeness. Do not recommend.
I’m only writing this review because of how incredibly rude the employee was. She handed me my already mediocre-tasting coffee and placed the lid directly on the countertop, which is extremely unsanitary considering that’s the part you drink from. I went back to the register and asked for a new lid. She replaced it, only to do the exact same thing again, flipping it onto another counter on the opposite side of the shop instead of handing it to me. I explained that I’d prefer a lid that hadn’t touched the dirty countertop. She scoffed, clearly annoyed, and handed me yet another lid, which was the wrong size. At that point, I gave up. The lack of basic hygiene and the employee’s rude attitude made this an awful experience. I won’t be returning.
I wanted a chocolate croissant, so I stopped by to ask if they had one. There was a man and a woman at the counter. At first they seemed friendly, then they suddenly turned rude. The man turned his back on me, and the woman coldly asked me if I wanted the croissant heated up or “like it is”. I said heated up, please, and then I started to say that I would be back to pick it up, but I was going to another vendor first. “Yeah, fine,” she said, cutting me off in the middle of what I was saying. I walked away wondering why their attitude had changed, if I was imagining it, etc. The people at the other vendor were polite and friendly. When I came back to XO to pick up the croissant, the woman had put it in a paper bag and casually tossed it on the counter and walked away without making eye contact. The casual rudeness was unbelievable. I took the bag and when I unwrapped the croissant, not only was it cold- not heated up at all- but it was smeared with Nutella all over the top of the croissant and inside the bag. Not to be gross, but the whole thing looked like a used diaper. I had asked for chocolate but they gave me Nutella- I guess they either don’t know or (more likely) don’t care about the difference. I love Nutella, so I don’t really care, but for someone with dietary restrictions (nut allergies, etc) that could have been an issue. Bottom line- between the unapologetic rudeness and the sloppy, unappetizing croissant- I won’t return to XO Espresso Bar anytime soon, although I do love the Lincoln Eatery food hall, itself, and often have lunch there.
I’m a regular at this coffee shop because the quality of the coffee is really good, but the costumer service is always trash. Every time I go this girl that works there (black long hair with glasses) makes me feel not welcomed and always gives me attitude like I owe her money or something. I never say anything because I understand that working as a barista can be difficult sometimes but today I went at 11am and ordered 3 drinks (1 salted caramel and 2 tiramisu lattes) She made the first tiramisu latte and then the salted caramel latte, after that I order another tiramisu latte and she gave me and my friend attitude because we didn’t order them together. I ordered my 2 and then my friend was waiting to put her order in but she was too busy on her phone. She made the tiramisu latte with the salted caramel foam and only covered the top with cinnamon and gave it to us like my friend wasn’t going to notice the change of flavor. If I’m paying $10 for a latte I’m expecting to receive what I ordered. I asked her if she could remake it since it didn’t taste or look the same as the other tiramisu latte and she told me that it was the same coffee, I told her once again that it didn’t taste the same and rudely she told me she wasn’t going to remake it while cackling. When I grabbed the other tiramisu latte to show her that even the foam didn’t look the same she grabbed the drink from my hand and threw it in the sink and started to remake it with the worst attitude ever and then gave me the drink that honestly at this point I didn’t even want anymore. This girl ruined the entire experience for my friend and I and it’s not the first time she gives us attitude. I’m really sad because this is my favorite coffee spot in Miami and to be treated like this from a worker is actually insane, you guys should re evaluate who’s working for you.
