Our friends told us about this place was a sorta staple for brunch here in Midland after we moved here haha. Glad we went! Good place, drinks were awesome. Food was pretty good too for brunch. Definitely would not expect it by the looks but even the staff was super friendly and attentive! Cool atmosphere not too many brunch spots have that dive bar feel, we enjoyed it!

What an establishment. No shortage of alcohol and the food is better than I expected. The bathrooms here are an experience… you have to try it for yourself. Smoking is allowed all throughout the building so keep that in mind.

I didn’t have a single problem with this place! On Saturday the mimosas are strong and plentiful. My family absolutely insisted we try their French toast. I myself was only there for one thing, deep fried bacon. I had to try a serving with a side of gravy and I wasn’t disappointed at all. They’re not overly meaty prices but the breading still can’t hide the flavor. I had pork chops and eggs with a muffin and I enjoyed every single bite. The pork chop is nice and juicy and the eggs were fluffy. The atmosphere is just one of a kind including a wall filled with vintage beer cans, a huge bar, and a stage. Servers were friendly and while there were no black women up front I only saw one shift… and it is Texas. Food is definitely worth it. Thanks so much everyone.

This restaurant got frozen in time. The vibe was great. Playing some classic rock. The inside smelled heavily of cigarette smoke. We sat outside in this nice patio. Service was amazing. I got the grilled catfish lemon pepper and it was pretty delicious. So we’re the onion rings. I highly recommend getting the sweet potatoes fries. I’m not huge on sweet potatoes but these were perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.

If going to place to drink its 4 star If going to eat, place place has strong cigarette smell. Steak fingers alright Sweet fries and corn bread and sweet tea are very good. Very busy during lunch time, service was good, normal wait time for food delivery.

Not quite as good as past visits but always a great place to get a steak. Lots of mistakes on our orders but we didn't make a big deal about it.

Kids screamed for at least an hour of our Three hour stay we dropped over 400$ took Way too long for our food n it really was kinda miserable. Our server was nice enough but it all took too long!! We got there 10:15 am so....?

Great place in Midland. Clean Dive feel. Super friendly servers. Pretty diverse foor choices. If your in the oilfield a must stop. Cool joint. Would come again.

Typical bar food. Mostly fried but really tasty. It was my first time trying Texas toothpicks. I liked that they were combined with onion rings..... so that is probably my favorite part of the meal. The steak fingers were good... not something I can get back home so I was glad I got to try them.

Maybe we were just unlucky but we had to wait right at two hours for our hamburgers to hit our table....WOW! We came from Lubbock and smoking is not allowed in any restaurants so needless to say we liked to chocked waiting for and eating our food. They couldn't put us in any place where there was no smoking. The food wasn't good and the order wasn't right which did not help with our experience. I used to go to The Bar back in the 1980's right after it was opened and it was fantastic back then. I took oil men to lunch there at least twice per week and we never had such an experience as my wife and I did Saturday. Kind-of doubtful I will ever go back.

Krista was talking about that we can’t bring outside food when you have a full party ordering food from them but the one person who had his own home made food couldn’t eat it what kind of bs is that!! I outta smack her she was very rude about it also saying not even her employees could bring outside food!!

The Bar has lost its way. The new music box will drive customers away. The nostalgia of the Bar is what kept people coming. Its gone. Been going to the Bar for 37 years. Never again.
