Italy Cafè Milano Reviews
Great spot for a casual dinner. The service was friendly and the food was good. The cocktails and desserts were excellent!
What an absolute Gem. We landed here randomly and we had one of the best experiences we had in Milan. First the service: what a great guy. Genuinely nice, funny, welcoming and advising us well. Second of all the food: from the spaghetti carbonara, to the milaneae cutlet and finally the chocolat pistachio soufflé...everything was perfect. So good. Its the kind of restaurant that may not look very inspiring at first but once you try it you are pleasantly surprised. Cafè Italia is a place we will come back to!
Everything was perfect. The waiters were super friendly. The pasta was delicious, and they recommended a great wine that paired perfectly with it.
Great food, great atmosphere, great staff—especially our waiter Emmanuel, who was kind, funny, and very helpful. The place has a cozy vibe that's not too casual nor too fancy, perfect for a lunch or dinner, and it isn't too busy.
Café Italia gave us a lovely and memorable dining experience, thanks to both the food and the warm service. Emmanuel, who served us, was an absolute delight—charming, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what the café offers. He took the time to guide us through the menu and helped us choose some of their best dishes. We ordered the Milanese risotto and Bolognese lasagna—both were rich in flavour and cooked perfectly. We paired our meal with a few Aperol drinks that added a cheerful touch to the evening. To finish, we had a couple of cheesecakes that were simply outstanding—creamy, light, and just the right amount of sweetness. Emmanuel’s service truly made the experience special. His friendly nature and helpful suggestions turned a good meal into a great one. A place I’d happily return to—and highly recommend.
5 stars all around and 6 on service. Emanuel was a phenomenal host both nights we dined in. They even sang Happy Birthday to my wife. The best dining experience during our week long Italian holiday. GRAZIE MILLE!!
The food was amazing, the only place where you can enjoy your meal & coffee and a cigarette in Milan. The waiter Emanuel was the greatest, he even gave us some advice where to go and what to watch out for. Great staff. Thank u a lot for the lovely time. I will visit again soon hopefully.
Fantastic place with seating on two floors. We stopped in for lunch and received a really warm welcome from the waiter, who seemed passionate about the food. Everything looked really clean and fresh. We ordered a tuna salad to share, and both had the chicken curry. The food was really well presented, fresh and clearly prepared by a chef who is proud of the food he serves. The price was more than reasonable for the quality, and overall, our visit to Cafe Italia was a wonderful experience. A great find and highly recommended.
Café Italia is a simple and pleasant spot with good coffee and a relaxed atmosphere. The pastries are fresh, the service is polite, and the prices are reasonable. It’s a nice place for a quick break or a light snack.
Nice place with a good variety of food. I came here for lunch and work and had a burger with basil bun which was quite good. Fries were dry and crispy. My only complaint is that the burger itself could have tasted better/been a little bigger. Later in the afternoon had a brioche which tasted good as well. The atmosphere is nice and so is the staff. Coffee is a little overpriced but good quality. Nice location to come and work/study as wifi is very fast (and actually works, contrary to many other places) and it’s fairly quiet. Place is very clean. Overall would recommend as an Italian version of Starbucks. It has high quality food and drinks and it’s a nice place for you to use your computer and get things done.
I got a margarita pizza which was honestly one of the worst pizzas I’ve had in Italy despite being one if the most expensive. The place also has an expensive service charge. Atmosphere and service was good.
