La Statale Café Milano Reviews
I love this university. All courses are high qualified with best professors and most updated knowledge. During class breaks, especially if you can communicate with some Italians, time passes more amazing. amo_italiaano
One of the best universities in Italy, friendly and welcoming. I love the environment
It’s impossible to think of Milan without La Statale. A cornerstone of Italian culture and research, it blends academic excellence with architectural beauty in the stunning Ca’ Granda, a symbol of Milan’s Renaissance heritage. With a vast educational offering and cutting-edge research, it stands as a hub of knowledge and innovation. Anyone seeking to understand Milan’s intellectual role cannot overlook this university.
One of the several universities in Milan. Environment is extremely attractive, within ancient noble buildings worth a visit. Location is in the very centre of the city, conveniently served by a couple of metro lines & several surface public transport lines. Parking quite difficult.
It's an amazing building, the datails in the construction are really nice. I went there for the Milano's design week and it's really epic. If you are able to go there try this design week season, it's full of people but also there's a lot of things to see and places open for long periods of time. The university is really nice and big there are a lot of things to see!
The University of Milan (Università degli Studi di Milano) is a public research university located in Milan, Italy. Established in 1924, it is one of Italy's largest universities, with a diverse range of undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs. The university is known for its strong research output, particularly in the fields of science, medicine, and humanities. The University of Milan is consistently ranked among the top universities in Italy.
Random grading systems. It goes by if they like you or not, not by merit. 20 years and still won't fix that. I assume it's the same nationally. The quality of teaching may be good, but grading correctly is also important as it teaches students that what they learned is valuable, and not that they are slaves. The faculty of medicine is particularly bad in that regard, due to the politics. Dishonesty stops with me. No idea about other faculties, maybe less of an issue. And this is the best uni in Italy for medicine, meaning the others who knows. Same problem for 20 Years, fix that then I give you 5. Happy holidays.
This is a very old-fashioned university with outdated procedures. It is extremely difficult to get in touch with the administration, and scheduled appointments are often not respected. However, when it comes to their own requirements, they suddenly become very strict and precise.
I am planning to study there but after seeing review my thought like, Peoples are going there not to study but to see the building . How funny!
WARNING to all prospective students: DO NOT ENROLL! luckily for this institution tourists are leaving positive remarks about the building. however, the experience of students is terrible, especially when it comes to the bureaucracy. most departments do not even have a direct email contact anymore. once you try to contact through 'informastudenti' be prepared to wait until the end of time. Everyday the employees do their best at lowering the bar for the worlds worst bureaucracy. you have been warned
The department of Computer Science is really beautiful but the secretary and the assistance is really below level 0. They only answer and solve (obvious requests) that don't need a ticket or a phone call, but for really important issues, they are a complete mess.
