Lido Liquor Bar Milano Reviews
Via Pasteria Daniele Crespi Via Pasteria offers Italian pasta from different regions of Italy, making for a truly delightful and unique dining experience. The pasta is homemade, incredibly fresh, and absolutely delicious. The staff are welcoming and friendly, and happily offer suggestions if you’re unsure what to choose. And whatever you do, save room for dessert. We had the tiramisu and it was decadent, rich, and delicious.Highly recommend!
The moment we got in Miwa welcomed us with such enthusiasm and a big smile which sets up the mood to the whole experience. She explained everything thoroughly and recommended good things as well. The food was absolutely amazing and prices are really good. It’s really nice and quiet away from the busy duomo area. You’ll enjoy the food and the whole service! Thanks Miwa!
Amazing pasta place in Milan. The staff is extremely friendly, they first show you around, explain their story, and then seat you. Even when it’s full, you usually get a table within 5 minutes. The food quality and flavour combinations are excellent, and the atmosphere works perfectly for both lunch and dinner. I came here from the opposite side of the city and it was absolutely worth the trip.
My favourite pasta spot in Milan, even compared to the more overrated and popular ones nearby. Love the seamless ordering system and walk in bookings only. Staff were nice and helpful, nice interior and simple menu offering the Milan favourites. I had ordered the bolognese ragu bread and it was delicious, crispy outside with soft inside paired with the rich meat sauce and finished with cheese. I then ordered the maccheroni carbonara with guanciale and pecorino as a main and that was incredible too, super smoky and crispy guanciale with the al dente pasta in the creamy rich sauce was everything I was hoping when visiting Italy, I wish I came to via pasteria again rather other choices I had chosen in Italy as this was certainly my top spot on the trip here. In total I paid around 25 euros which I felt was worth the experience and quality of food I had here.
Via Pasteria is a reminder that true craftsmanship in cooking doesn’t need a star to shine. I recently dined at a Michelin-listed restaurant, yet this experience surpassed it in both depth and balance. The pastas were remarkable, expressive, and rooted in authentic Italian simplicity. The Linguine with porcini, saffron, and Gorgonzola fondue delivered a perfect interplay of earthy and creamy notes. Desserts were equally masterful. The Torta Caprese al cacao Ariba combined a crisp edge with a soft, velvety core, and the tiramisu struck that rare equilibrium between sweetness and texture. Every detail reflected restraint, confidence, and a genuine love for food.
Dining at Pasteria in Milan was nothing short of exceptional. From the very beginning, the atmosphere struck me as calm, relaxed, and elegant, yet never pretentious. There is a genuine warmth here that makes you feel immediately at ease. The hospitality is remarkable, with a truly international and multilingual staff who make every guest feel welcome, cared for, and at home. Their attention to detail and their knowledge of the menu were impressive, and every recommendation felt spot on. One of the most unique aspects of Pasteria is the fact that the pasta is freshly made right in front of you. Watching the process adds a special authenticity to the dining experience and creates a stronger connection with the food. It is not just a meal, it is a small culinary performance that highlights both tradition and skill. I visited in October and was fortunate enough to try the month’s special: fresh tagliolini with butter, shrimp tartare, and bottarga. This dish was absolutely outstanding. The pasta was delicate and perfectly textured, while the combination of shrimp and bottarga gave it a rich, elegant, and memorable flavor profile. It felt both creative and rooted in Italian tradition. I also tried the tagliolini with porcini mushrooms and gorgonzola sauce, which truly left me speechless. Creamy, earthy, and bold, it was a dish that showcased balance and depth of flavor at the highest level. Honestly, I have not found pasta of this quality anywhere else in Milan. Consistency, creativity, and an unwavering focus on quality make Pasteria stand out. For anyone who loves authentic Italian food with a refined touch, this place is an absolute must-visit. Bravo to the entire team for delivering such excellence!
the best pasta place i went to in milan. best restaurant in general, honestly! the staff were super helpful with explaining the menu. you can personalise your meal with different types of pasta and when i asked to, i was given recommendations based on how the chef prepares it. we got the carbonara and an anchovy one. large is very large!
What a breath of fresh air, great concept, friendly well organised staff and great chefs. Order and pay up front, help yourself to water bread and dips, food arrives quickly, well presented and tastes delicious. Very small menu which is why it is probably so good. Be prepared for a small wait outside for a table but well worth it. So good we returned for a second evening. Grazie millie ❤️
An incredible experience. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, making us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. The food was outstanding - the pasta had an amazing texture, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. You can really tell the quality and care put into every dish. The atmosphere is lively and very popular, full of energy and a great vibe. We would absolutely come back without hesitation. Highly recommended. A bit full of tourists though...
Pasta is a language – and sometimes you realize you’re speaking a different dialect. I ordered the “Gnocchetto sardo al pomodoro” with a generous carafe pour of Primitivo. The dish came in a very firm wholemeal al dente – maybe too firm for my softer-pasta expectations. It might have been “it’s not them, it’s me,” but once it started sticking to my teeth, I felt something wasn’t quite right. The service, however, was excellent. No debate, no attitude – they immediately replaced it with penne in the same sauce, cooked to a proper, balanced al dente. Bottom line: good cooking, great service, and a generous Primitivo. They know their pasta, even if my first choice didn’t suit me.
I was here recently ,the staff were really professional, and the atmosphere was pleasant. The prices were a bit high compared to other places in Italy, but the quality definitely matched. I wouldn’t say it was the most delicious pasta I’ve ever had, but the quality of the ingredients was clearly excellent. However, the starters were absolutely amazing truly outstanding! The Aperol was great, and the tiramisu was exactly the style I love.
Hyped place according to Google Review so decided to give it a try. Venue is cute, had to wait a bit outside as it was quite crowded. We were highly surprised with one of the staff being polyglot, she was able to speak italian, english, french, Spanish. It was such a cool experience to be able to speak with her! We sat at the high table bar as we could not get a normal table. Before you sit, the staff would explain you how things are made and how you can get free water/sparkling water. You have to go to the cashier to order your food. We were super excited to try their bolognese and carbonara dishes. Unfortunately, the carbonara dish was lukewarm, so not that pleasant when you eat it. Bolognese felt like it didn’t have enough sauce to cover the pasta. Pasta were made from scratch and are fresh so can’t complain about its quality. But overall, we didn’t feel amazed by these dishes. 😔 somehow, the parmesan pots were helpful to make up for the lack of flavour.
Really lovely restaurant in the heart of Milan just a few minutes walk from many popular tourist spots. They have a easy to use ordering system whereby you scan a QR code which takes you to the menu and you can place your order at the counter which is then served at your table. The food was really nice but portion sizes were very small, too small. I had linguini with porcini mushrooms, saffron and walnut. I also had tomato and mozzarella bruschetta but I was feeling hungry afterwards so I was a little disappointed overall. Tasty but larger portion sizes required- particularly for €23 for a vegetarian pasta dish. I want a lot more. Really good that they provide filtered still and sparkling water along with the meal at no extra cost.
