Quickly has become one of the staples of Astoria. Whether you’re coming from a Mets game, looking to watch a big UFC or WWE event or just want some great food and nice pint - Murphys is a must. The staff is incredible from open to close. The owner is gracious to each and every one of his clients. Even when busy, it’s super comfortable within the bar. The praise is endless.

The staff here is always welcoming and kind, giving a real familial vibe. The ambiance is always fun (with the option to play darts most nights when it isn't too packed), and it's ELECTRIC to watch sports there (especially Mets and Knicks games, along with boxing and MMA pay per views). And to top it all off, they have delicious food at a reasonable price. The brunches also have a bottomless drinks option and are often times themed. This is hands down my favorite bar to go to in all of NYC.

Great spot for food, family, and Bills Mafia! This place is awesome — great food, friendly staff, and a fun atmosphere that’s perfect for families. It’s also a top-notch hangout for Bills Mafia on game day — tons of energy, great vibes, and plenty of TVs to catch every play. Highly recommend whether you’re here for the wings, the game, or just a good time with friends and family.

The food is awesome at Murphy’s! Love those infamous wings, cheese curds, turkey club, chick-Caesar salad, corned beef…I could go on and on. Attentive staff and a great place for a party. They get some good DJs too. Always love the atmosphere at MURPHY’S!

I love, love this bar. I had a great time at Murphy's Bar in Astoria. The atmosphere was lively, and the staff were really friendly. They had a great selection of beers and cocktails, and the prices were reasonable. It's a good spot to catch a game or hang out with friends. The vibe was cozy and welcoming, and I liked the decor. Overall, I'd definitely recommend Murphy's to anyone looking for a good spot to grab a drink in Astoria. Those new to Astoria, this is a great spot to start with. If you are interested in meeting and making new friends. They offer a dart league that welcomes anyone, a softball team, and other great activities like cookouts, live bands, and great food. Murphy’s is a must try!!! I joined the dart league, and it is amazing, as we compete with other bars around Astoria. I ❤️ it. See you all there soon.

Best sports bar in Astoria! Go here all the time for live sports like Man United, Knicks, Mets and Bills games. Good food too, popcorn chicken and the smash burger! Guinness always pours great which is hard to find. Rory has done a great job building a community of sports fans at Murphy's. Katie and Niall the bartenders are super friendly and always attentive! Never left thirsty or bored in their company!

One of the best spots in Astoria hands down. I am not even a sports fan and somehow I have managed to have an absolute blast on football sundays. I’ve even had my birthday party at this bar, and the owner Rory was so accommodating, and was happy to reserve an entire section for me and my family. The drinks are fantastic as well, and everyone on the staff is incredibly nice and masters of their craft. Definitely the best sports bar in the area. Oh and the food is out of this world!!!

Love this place. I'm a day one person here. My friends and I have hosted plenty of events with the space that they have here without getting in anyone's way. From birthdays to holidays parties to fantasy draft night. We always end up making more friends than when we walked in. Love the owner, the staff, the beer selections, the cocktails, the food. You can catch me here at least twice to 3x a week. Highly recommend for football games, Mets, or even just a quick bite

Murphy’s is my go to in Astoria and the best spot to watch the Mets. The Guinness is always poured proper, and whether it’s Niall, Steve, or Katie behind the bar, you’re treated like a regular the second you walk in. Highly recommend the smash burger or the mango habanero wings. Just an awesome neighborhood bar that gets everything right. Even had multiple buddies actually meet their girlfriends here

Left La Guardia Airport with the final few hours in the US before coming home via JFK. Googled Queens sports bar so I could watch the Man City Arsenal game. The lady serving had no problem in sorting me a screen despite it being a Sunday and that's a NFL day in the US, they also had the Mets playing on a screen as well. The bar is ine of my favourite ive ever been. Outstanding place to watch sport especially if your staying around Queens or a few hours to kill near La Guardia airport or JFK

Love this place! Been going for years. One of the best bars in the city and a hidden gem. The food is AMAZING and the service is great. Even when they're packed, you get a drink surprisingly fast. The food is great and super cheap. The $9 chicken nachos are a steal, the spice bag is great and so is the burger, but the chicken Caesar salad with Brussels sprouts and fresh burrata is PHENOMENAL! MUST TRY!! Great atmosphere for sporting events. The owner is very engaging with his guests and has created an amazing atmosphere. It's a massive Mets, Bills, and WWE bar. They're also a Notre Dame bar now and can't wait to see what GameDay Saturdays are like.

Nice local sports bar that was very welcoming to an outsider! I will definitely come back. The food is good and bartender Aaron, was knowledgeable of the area and a pleasure to chat with.

Nice Guinness pour here, no doubt about that. The turkey club wasn’t that great unfortunately. The meat was dry and the bacon was so fatty and chewy the thing was inedible. The saving grace here was the garlic cheese fries. Those were absolutely fire.
