This is my favorite sandwich shop. Their bread is out of this world and everything is so fresh. The service and staff are great and they make your orders so fast you hardly have to wait at all

It was a great experience. Fast service. Great tasting soft bread. Fresh tasting meat and veggies. Plus, the combo was under $9. Thank you very much!

Omg I hear a lot about from classmates telling it’s so good so I had to try for myself I go in yesterday afternoon and I’m greeted by super friendly staff, since it was my first time there they offer to talk me though the whole menu and after a few mins of talking the manager comes along makes my experience better we are cracking jokes and talking about what get, I finally decided to get a #10 (amazing good btw I would recommend) and as I check out I’m still carrying this conversation with manger and staff all while working and after a few mins they got my order and might I say IT WAS GOOD The place was clean, calm, and full of amazing staff who I still can’t believe that were so friendly Overall Thank you for Steven?? (I can’t remember the mangers name ) but for the amazing experience I had there and I will make a tradition to go every Saturday to visit you guys

It was evident that he genuinely cared about his customers and took pride in his work. The sandwich was delicious, but the service was even better! Loved the #7 spicy east coast ITALIAN giant! It was so tasty! I also buy the day old bread too. The bread is still soft and yummy!

Seriously, the employees are professional and just nice people that make this place pleasant. Oh yes, and the food....the seasonal chicken wrap is amazing, the sandwiches are filling no matter the size, and the cookies are yummy! This makes for awesome last minute dinners or lunch. Definitely a 5 star.

We ordered 4 sandwiches tonight and it took a little extra time for delivery. We didn't mind but the assistant manager called to let us know it was going to take a little longer since the delivery driver had just left right before we placed the order and it was just her working tonight. When she got here she apologized for the wait and was very friendly. The food was perfect. We love the bread and our sandwiches are always really nice. I just really appreciated the customer service today. That phone call to let us know it would be a few more minutes was just really nice.

Our sandwiches were made before we even finished paying (freaky fast, like they say). Food was absolutely delicious. We got the #12 and #13. Everything tasted super fresh. Will definitely be coming here again!

We ordered 4 sandwiches all different & added things & a couple things taken off. After I hung up seemed like 5 minutes they were here with our food. Every sandwich was made EXACTLY how we wanted. Very fresh & OMGSH!! Delicious. We will DEFINITELY be ordering from here a lot. Thank you so much our first time experience was amazing.

Decided to stop and get our dinner here, from the freaky fast drive thru :) About average speed of McDonalds; I'd even say a touch slower than the last time we visited and ordered via drive thru. No issues being heard, allergies noted and quite easily accommodated. Sandwiches were made with care, clearly labeled and looked great upon unwrap. Just as good as I remember them being, fresh ingredients, great texture to the bread, and just the right amount of accompaniments. Ordered unsweetened tea, with extra ice and unlike many other locations they got it right the first time, and the tea was not bitter. Will be visiting again as we prefer them to subway!

Great experience. The cashier Bianca was super help and extremely friendly. I choose the spicy Italian added pickles ( based on Biancas suggestion) it was hands down the best Italian sandwhich I've ever had from a chain restaurant. Definently freaky fast and fresh!

Super fast delivery, always fresh baked bread and they use Hellman's aka Best foods mayo which makes a huge difference in taste. I love the alfalfa sprouts on the sandwiches, they add a crunch and nice surprise ! My boyfriend and I are from the south and we've been missing their food. So glad Modesto finally got a Jimmy Johns :)

Really good Club Tuna! Once in a while, i end up getting the reg tuna when I order the club tuna. Is it worth it? I at least go there once a week. Did I mention FAST drive thru service? Yup.

great sandwiches, I just don't recommend going through the drive thru. speaker must be bad because I always have to correct my sandwich after it is repeated back to me...or like today, I ask for no onions, no lettuce, and extra pickles. and the sandwich only had onions on it.... again great sandwiches, just go inside

First time to eat at Jimmy John's today. Been wanting to try it for over a year, so it seemed like a good idea today while out running around. The Perfect Italian on a French baguette sounded perfect to me. It was okay, but it seemed lack luster. Not really sure what I expected different, but I was a little disappointed.

I wish I took a picture of the actual size (length-wise) I thought maybe they gave me a Lil-John given the size. These toasted sandwiches are significantly smaller!¿! So maybe they are Lil's just toasted. They also don't have as much meat in them either, doesn't seem like it as they are the same cost.

Sandwiches are very good and super fast but I have been hear twice and they have no bread and offers wheat bread. Don't open your store if you are out of bread or it's not done cooking. No one should have to go somewhere else. That's not a way to keep customers.

Their slogan is Freaky fast, freaky fresh. Well for the past few months they've been Freaky slow! Today it took 23 minutes to get the one sandwich I ordered. I kept coming back because everyone, everywhere is understaffed these days so the first couple of times I thought it was due to that but it seems they have changed their order of operations. They used to slice your sandwich meat upon ordering. Today they had one employee slicing and stacking dozens and dozens of meat packs in order to have them ready for customers. So instead of making sandwiches for myself and the other five customers waiting foe orders she was prepping for future customers. I really enjoy their sandwiches but with my busy schedule its no longer a place to get in and out of. I'm gonna enjoy this sandwich cause it'll be my last from Jimmy Johns Modesto.

So I was there last week, went through the drive through and waited for about 5 minutes and nobody greeted me through the speaker. I had already made up my mind way before that but I hate being that rude customer that yells through the speaker. I figured they were busy. So I said "hi." An employee responded "yes?" Ha! I placed my order and pulled up to the window to pay. Again, was not greeted. Ok. I paid, the employee handed me the sandwich, didn't say "thank you" or "have a good day" or even apologized for being busy. Which was not the case because I was the only one in the drive thru and there weren't many customers inside either. Customer service, none whatsoever. I will never go there again.

An hour and fifteen minutes go by after I order my food. Naturally I call to see about my order. They said its already been delivered. I open my door and my food is just sitting on the porch. 'Freaky fast'?, no just freaky.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. It was our first time there and the cashier wasn’t inviting it welcoming at all. We ordered our sandwiches and sat to wait for them. While waiting for about 10 minutes we noticed not one employee washed their hands. Not only that but there was a tall guy with a short beard that came from the back and looked like he may have been packaging a larger order. He yawned into his hand rubbed his face picked his beard and drank his water out a water bottle. After that he proceeded to the Togo window where he was yawning more, being that I am a GM at a good establishment I can’t help but watch the cleanliness and sanitation. I kept saying at a low tone please wash your hands please wash your hands just hoping that’s where he was going next but NOPE not one time did an employee wash their hands. The cashier was slicing onions took his gloves off moved some stuff around went to put the onions up cake back and just put on new gloves. Serve safe says you must wash your hands when changing gloves. When is the last time they had an inspection is all I could think. We get home and because we paid $28 for these sandwiches we attempted to eat them. No surprise they were horrible and sloppy and bread taste stale 🤢 We won’t go back and I know two customers don’t hurt the bottom line but CLEANLINESS should be priority. I hope they do better and please tell the tall white fella if he touches his face or yawns into his hands he should really wash them 🤢🤮

I would’ve gone back in to get my money back but their staff made it pretty clear they do not care. If you want a GOOD sandwich, hit up Mr. Pickles. ***Btw, this was so bad I sent a review to corporate but of course, they just refer you to the franchise owner. If the owner is anything like the employees, it would be a waste of time.

Today I went inside the store and explained that I lost my bank card and I only have a 100$ dollar bill and will not take my money sitting store policy by the owner and will not make any exceptions on fear that they will be fired if do so. On today day is plenty of way to determine if the bills are fake. I asked for the owner name and number and refused (Only a nickname was given). But the regional manager was in the office but he was busy in phone. The owner of this franchise apparently owns crumbled cookies also so I imagine they have the same policy It so sad that they will loose a good customer that brings real money to their doorstep I’m will make sure I pass my experience to all my family and friends so they don’t have to experience what I went through!!! I have been a Jimmy John's customer for the past 5 years. No problem at all .. until yesterday when I got sick because of the #15 tuna sandwich. I was sick with food poisoning (chills, diarrhea) because of the tuna sandwich that I have always ordered when ever I go to Modesto. Needless to say I will not be going to Jimmy John's ever again. And yes, I have also reported it to the county health inspector so other people will not be getting sick at Jimmy John's.

Ordered on door dash apparently they don't deliver in door dash but still have deliveries by door dash still on they couldn't cancel on there side said I had to call . So I called door dash took 30 min to get my money back. What a waste of time I was on lunch for work and had to deal with this. Bad business etiquette

Omgosh. Absolutely ridiculously overpriced. 2 chicken wraps and one mini tuna was 40$ I'd have no problem paying that much if the food was good and fresh ..But it was the worst tuna I ever had..no flavor at all..and my daughters chicken wrap had 2 small pieces of chicken..she almost finished the wrap before she had a bite of chicken . I didn't even eat my food. I probably should of taken it back and asked for a refund. Honestly I feel like I wasted 40$ Will not be returning. The staff was nice and friendly.

Ordered 2 sandwiches minus tomatoes both had tomatoes. So I let them know the they said they will take it off i told them i could do that also but explained im allergic to tomatoes. They made 2 new ones but had barely any meat like maybe a couple slices per side. Idk if it was spiteful for them messing up but its practically lettuce and cheese. The dude at the register didn't know what he was doing. I definitely will not be going back nor do I recommend anyone else.

This location can't seem to make a sandwich correctly. 3 times in a row including today have they incorrectly made my sandwich. 28 mile round trip to come back for them to fix it. The first time it happened the worker whom made the sandwich said, "I'll remake it personally for you" what is that suppose to mean since she screwed it up in the first place. If she had taken responsibility for the error an offered an apology that would have gone farther than obfuscating the truth. We're finished. We will find a new sandwich shop that offers customer care as a top priority.

My wife and I went by here a couple months ago. We bought around 5 sandwhiches close to closing time. The girl working was African American, do not remember her name. She was extremely rude and didn't even try and hide it. I get you were probably upset we came close to closing time, but at the end of the day we our the customers and our bringing in income to your shop. I sent a complaint to corporate and problem was never solved, they said the store manager would reach out to us and we never heard from them. Since than, we have never been back and do not intend to.

I have no idea what the appeal of this place is. Their ingredients are inferior to their competitors, especially their skimpy veggies, overly glutenous bread, and watery mayo. The worst offender being their "avocado" spread, which I highly doubt has any avocado in it. It's a bright green incredibly tart sauce. In addition the price point is ridiculous. Sure they might deliver, but do yourself a favor, go to Subway get a better sandwich and save yourself a lot of money.
