I had an amazing Super Wet Carne Asada Burrito for lunch today. Lots of great flavors! The chips and salsa were delicious also. For my beverage, I had a large Jamaica.

We were driving down mchenry looking for something to eat. We seen a sign that said grand opening, so we decided to try it out. It was a great decision because the food is amazing and had great taste. Everything is fresh and they have a great salsa bar. I got the torta with asada. The bread was so light and the meat was well seasoned. The guacamole on the torta made it very tasty. The kids and I gave it a 5 out of 5

First time coming here while my car was getting serviced down the street. This place did not disappoint with its amazing tasting food to great customer service. I got the chilaquiles with some pastor on top. I’ll be back with friends.

I get them all the time on DoorDash—love their cheese enchiladas and quesadillas, but everything is delicious!

We both got carne asada and the flavor was good! Great size super burrito! We will be definitely coming back!

Great customer service, family owned and so friendly and welcoming. The chicken crunchy tacos are the best, a must try for sure. The shredded chicken is absolutely delicious. Fresh chips.. I’m going to be honest the salsa could be better but the food makes up for it. Enchiladas verdes are good and the torta was bomb!!

Multiple families from our soccer team who were in town for a tournament enjoyed a delicious meal at Ranas Taqueria. The service was friendly, the prices were very reasonable, the portions were large, and the food was high quality. The owners also generously gave our 10 year olds some pop-up toys to play with that they loved. We look forward to returning in the future!

Very friendly service. Clean and cozy inside with great music.🎶👍[not loud ...] they offer fresh tortilla chips and salsa from their salsa bar. Very good salsa lots of flavor. I will definitely be back. Its been a while since I had enchiladas. They were perfect, just the way I like them.😋

Just excellent. We got three taco plates: Tacos Al Pastor, Carnitas and Shredded chicken. Amazing spot. So happy to stumble in. We ate there and we got some chips and salsa too ordered at the counter and just sat down to eat. Go.

The enchiladas and crunchy tacos are amazing, and I really admire that it’s a genuine family-run business. Friendly and welcoming service. The corn chips are the thick, quality kind—not the cheap ones, which shows they care about the details. I highly recommend this place!!

I went back had the taco salad it was so good, all veggies are very fresh, grilled chicken had the right amount of seasoning, rice, beans and guacamole are real good in the salad. Very clean taqueria, when walking in you are greeted with a smile, service is great! The grilled chicken on my taco salad was seasoned just right nice and tender not over cooked, beans and rice were good, produce is fresh. There is room to eat there its nice and quite lighting is a little dark but clean. Employee was super nice food was cooked just right, taco shell was not greasy and the chips are very good freshly made just the right amount of salt. If you want healthy they can accommodate. They have menudo and Pozole on Saturday and Sunday will try that next! Go try this Taqueria out!

Edit: Update: Finally got to do a sit down lunch here with my husband! Grilled fish taco & al pastor tacos. Excellent once again! All the fresh salsas were tasty, each with a distinctly different flavor. They are not super hot, just very palatable and fresh. Oh and the chips were perfect!! Yummy Tamales! Called Christmas Eve morning, hoping we could order some, even though we were late and they said no problem! Mixed and matched the order cheese, chicken, and pork. My husband is picky about his tamales, and he put these up with the best he's had. The masa is moist, and there is a good meat to masa ratio. My fish taco was also fresh and tasty. Thank you for the great service and wonderful food! ¡Feliz Navidad!

I can't say enough good things about Ranas Taqueria on McHenry! This place serves up some of the best super burritos I've ever had - and I've tried my fair share around the Central Valley. The super burrito was absolutely incredible. Every bite was packed with fresh, flavorful ingredients that were perfectly balanced. As a full-time RV family who travels all around the US, I can honestly say this is the best super burrito I've had in 42 states! You can tell they take real pride in their cooking because the taste was just phenomenal - authentic Mexican flavors done right. But it doesn't stop there - even the sides were exceptional. The chips were crispy and fresh (not stale like so many other places), and the salsa was clearly made in-house with that authentic taste that's hard to find. It had just the right amount of heat and freshness that made me keep coming back for more. What really sets this place apart though is the service. Every time I've been here, the staff has been friendly, attentive, and clearly takes pride in what they do. It's that kind of genuine hospitality that makes you want to become a regular. If you're in Modesto and craving authentic Mexican food, do yourself a favor and check out Ranas Taqueria. This is a true gem that deserves all the recognition it can get. I'll definitely be back soon! Highly recommended!

Nice place, Family owned. The food was good. Fresh chips.The place was clean.Well priced, it would become my regular spot if it wasn't for the seating area being exposed to so much Sun. No matter what table you seat at the sun is in your eyes. They need better coverage. I will go back.
