Adobe Modesto Reviews
Absolutely excellent food. Great atmosphere. It was a little hot as in like the temperature was hot. But, it was a summer day so it's too be expected. The food taste VERY unique. I eat a lot of Mexican food and this place has a distinct taste.
I’ve driven by here many times and always wanted to stop here to eat. My wife and I finally did and really enjoyed the food. The carnitas are very delicious. The chile verde here has the correct hot spicy flavor and is made to perfection. The service is good and we will definitely come back. Came back 6-7-22 and still love this place! I had the carne Asada dinner with a Pacifico Michelada. My wife had a chicken Enchilada plate. She loved it! 10-25-24 We went out tonight and had a fabulous dinner! Jovita had a chili relleno and a taco and I had chicken milanesa dinner plate. For our beverages she had a Diet Coke and I had a Modelo Especial Michelada. We always have good experiences here.
Wonderful. Fresh chips (mostly eaten before food arrived)! with delicious salsa was included with my excellent chicken enchilada lunch special. Nice outdoor seating. Will return. Recommended 😊.
Amazing food! Really tasty and worth a stop in Modesto. Drive a few minutes away from the freeway if you are passing through, and get this food! I usually skip eating most of my beans and rice at Mexican restaurants, but not here as you can see from the photo. Parking can be tight, but who cares when the food is this good!
By far the best Mexican food I've had, the atmosphere is welcoming and cozy, you feel like you're at your abuelas house in Mexico type feel, our waiter is so nice and has great attitude. The food is great. Please come if you haven't, great food! I had the carnitas and carne asada regular burrito and it's so good
Food was so good couldn't even get the b4 picture sorry but lovely place great customer service and just whewwwww come check it out for yourself
All together 10/10!! Just had a bomb Torta!! Carnitas of course!!! So juicy!
Fast service and the chicken chimichangas were delicious
Delicious food, friendly service, and their spicy was actually spicy!
The food was amazing! The shrimp were cooked really well, and they were very flavorful. The beans were not caked with cheese like other places. They were very good. The peppers and onion that were under the shrimp were also very good. Definitely a place we'll go back to. The service was wonderful😃

Luce served a wonderful breakfast!!! ❤️ Keep our small and delicious businesses open, and treat yourself! The pancakes were fluffy and wonderful. The ranchero eggs delish and the hash-browns nice too!
Tasty food. Great service. English and Spanish speaking staff. Very good prices. The whole atmosphere inside is do nice. Horchata comes in huge glass mugs. And best part you get chips and dip without asking. Parking is a little small on the property but reasonable for how big the place is.
La Casa Adobe has the best asada burrito I have ever tasted, hands down. Every bite is delicious. The staff is always kind, and the service is fast and friendly. It has that local, welcoming feel that makes you want to come back again and again.
"The food was absolutely amazing, and the customer service went above and beyond! The staff was incredibly attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The menu offers a great selection of dishes, and everything we tried was delicious. Highly recommend!"
Food is awesome....service was great
Don’t let the outside of the building scare you! Took the family, food was awesome and the staff extremely kind. The asada super burritos were hot and full of great flavor and the slices of avocado were super fresh. Loved every bite. The rest of the family had tacos, chimichanga, and a plate of rice, beans and fries for the kids. Everyone was very happy with their meals. I also ordered a horchata that came in a large mug which was excellent as well. Service was friendly and generous, though with the limited staff food was a little slow coming out, but there was plenty of free chips and salsa to snack on while waiting.
This place is a hidden gem! When the waitress said they've been here for 20 years I couldn't believe it. I had the wet super burrito w/ half asada and pollo w/ half red and green sauce. I also got a bowl of menudo. Both were really good! I really loved the taste of both the sauces on the burrito. The ladies working here are great as well.
In a rather unexpected location, the inside of restaurant has a warm and cozy feel. The burrito I ordered was satisfying Their parking lot in back is very small so be prepared to park on curb.
I was riding through this town rather unexpectedly. I walked in and the place has a casual charm about it. Family friendly atmosphere and the food was excellent. Authentic mexican food. Very casual and not too expensive at all. I sat at the counter and had the super tacos and 2 beers. 🍻 I hope this review helps someone, cheers!

It's okay. If you pay more for the burrito it will look better, or well.. at least that's what the cashier had told me. Rather tasty food but it didn't look very good, it kind of looked like it was folded like a taco instead of the burrito I ordered. I got the wet burrito with half red sauce and half green sauce. It's not a very good portion size for the amount I paid, literally down the street at a vendor in a tent it's the same price for a bigger burrito. 13 bucks for a disappointing experience. I hope if you go here that your experience is better than mine.
