Lately, this place has become one of our favorite places to eat. My daughter and I come here at least twice a month, and each visit has been a positive experience. The quality of the food is consistently good, and the customer service has always been friendly and attentive. We feel welcomed every time we come in, which makes us want to keep coming back. Overall, it’s a place we genuinely enjoy and would gladly recommend.

There's sure a lot of food options in Modesto, especially in the downtown area so I was a little perplexed on just what I wanted...That is until I spotted the Panera Bread restaurant. It was cold out, and that mornings damp fog was still with me so what better way to shake that coldness off than having a hot bowl of soup from Panera Bread. 5 stars...and they didn't even try hard. ☆☆☆☆☆
I have been here a number of times. I've been inside and through the drive through. What an absolute delight this place has been for me! The atmosphere is great. Some of my favorites are the chicken frontega sandwich, the Italiano sandwich and the Greek salad. The chicken noodle soup is also great and soothing. For a sweet, I enjoy the iced lemonade and the coconut macaroons. Thank you Panera Mchenry for each and every wonderful visit. :)
Panera fixed a duplicate that an outside delivery app would not. These guys are great and the fall squash soup is amazing as is the bread!
There is a lot of seating. The staff are really kind. I appreciated their assistance. The only down side is there is one outlet for working on a device. I choose Panera, to be able to do some work and the convenience. If you are looking for a working meal spot this may not suit your need. The food is made well
The first time in here, it is amazing. The food tastes great. I recommend this place to everyone. Also, customer services on drive-thru were super. Great job, guys.
A friend introduced this place to me with their breakfast menu and it is amazing! They are the closest thing to home cooked food with the speed of fast food. The prices are compared to fast food breakfast sandwiches if not cheaper. And way better tasting. This is now one of my favorite places to eat. They also offer an online menu / ordering / paying option. You order what you want, pay for it on your phone and go pick it up. Just walk in, and walk out. Everything is paid for and ready for you to take home. They offer more than coffee, soda, and smoothies. My daughter loves their passion papaya green tea. There are sugar, calorie, and caffeine nutritional guides on their self serve beverages and their teas have less sugar, caffeine and calories than the sodas.
I received the wrong sandwich, so I went up to the counter. Sue helped me out, she’s lovely and her costumer service was amazing! She brightened my day.🤭

1st time to visit Panera Bread. I ordered a tuna and creamy tomato soup from the value duet menu. The cost was only 7.99..not bad. The tuna sandwich lacks a bit of flavor. The creamy tomato soup was delicious, but it needed to be hotter. Overall, the plate looked great! The cup of soup was a nice size and served with croutons and a Baggett hunk.
Love the chipotle chicken sandwich! I only gave it four stars because it's expensive to eat here for me normally. Staff was friendly and inside was clean. You HAVE to get the broccoli cheddar soup!
I don't normally make reviews unless they're positive.... But I have been here many times and my drinks always taste off.... I usually order a black iced tea, but they're really bitter.Or the water in them taste nasty..... But today , I went there anyway , because I was gonna order a mountain dew , and I figured it would be safe.... She gave me the wrong drink and then I felt rushed and pushed out of the drive through even though there was no one behind me..... If I have time , I would have gone again to get it fixed.. i was just disappointed , I needed that caffeine
The hot water was warm, no half and half. By the time they bought out hot water I had finished my meal and it was time for to leave. Another customer said the coffee was empty. Very disappointed in this store. I came from Southern California and never had this situation at any store there
Food is good but service is joke here they always messed my order , wrong food items send with my order they I didn’t even order . And what I have ordered is missing
Management really needs to address this. Can’t even fill up the sauce half way for you and you have to eat dry salad. This happens every time and has never not happened to me. Also the same thing with the pastas. I always upgrade to a large and you are lucky if they fill it halfway. When it’s about $17 for the meal and drink… come on. Do better.
Panera Bread was the worst place, I went to to get soup and a sandwich. The soup tasted gross the sandwiches was all falling apart I will never eat there ever again. Oh yeah I forgot in the bacon was raw
Saw a commercial for $1 soup with entree order. Didn’t mention online only. Soup ended up costing $9 each cup. One sandwich and two cups of soup was $35. Absolutely ridiculous. Will not return or listen to Panera bread commercials again. Unacceptable.
My mother ordered her food from Panera through the Panera app delivery and when we received it she was missing her smoothie. The bag was sealed with the receipt which shows how they check mark each item completed before they set it out to be delivered with the smoothie clearly not checked off. We called since we ordered through your app and the first answer we got was that they could write her name down to pick one up in the future so we wanted to talk to a manager for a refund. The line was disconnected on her while she waited so she called again and the manager picked up and told her she would have to contact DoorDash because it was in the bag but the bag came sealed by them with no smoothie and no room for a smoothie. he refused to offer her a refund or allow her to pick up a smoothie as originally offered. He presented horrible customer service skills and said “there’s no smoothie on my counter so it was picked up by DoorDash”, which again she did not order through. I am so infuriated for her to have received such a rude response and no resolution at all. Absolute disgrace for customer service.
I ordered from thier web site $44 worth of items and was shorted my smoothie. When i called the manager was rude and told me that's too bad that I'd have to go through door dash to get my money. I have the ring camera and can prove the bag was sealed and the reciept shows they didn't check it off. Never will i go through them again!
