Caffé Cittá Moncalieri Reviews
Friendly staffs with quality coffee and canoli. Good place for a cup of coffee with local friends on Sunday morning.
Good people...🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
I gave it 4 stars because I appreciated the view of the square, the vintage decor, and the courtesy of the young woman who served us. The croissants were delicious and very soft, but I found the bill at €17 (4 croissants, 3 coffees, and a juice) a bit high, especially considering the coffee was priced at €2.
Good coffee and aperitivo.
Good
Very nice place, nice stuff, they serve good lunch (wasn't amazing though). The only thing I didn't like was the dessert, it was bad
Wide selection of tea from Twinings Snacks, both sweet and sour available Good overall, low prices
English version below: Great place to take a break during your holidays in Piedmont. The outdoor seating offers a beautiful view of the square. Friendly and helpful staff. Services provided. Great location in Moncalieri square. Old fashioned, traditional, very much family owned. Very obvious to see the two generations working side by side. Super place to watch the world go by. I see some…
I ordered a green tea and was brought a Carrefour tea for the modest sum of 4 euros...no comment...
Beautiful baroque-style venue with friendly staff. However, two hot chocolates with whipped cream cost €10. Aside from the price, I noticed that the hot chocolate was pre-made in a machine, and the whipped cream was clearly sprayed on. Although it's not a chocolate shop, you shouldn't expect typical chocolates from a pastry shop, but alas, given the price (high, I'd say), I can't give this review a high rating. I can't comment on anything else on the menu, as it was just a quick stop after visiting the castle.
I was shocked by the outrageous bill! We just had polenta and sausage for dinner, along with two glasses of what seems to be Primitivo wine, during the Moncalieri Jazz Festival. Prices weren't displayed; we paid €38 for two! They charged us at least €10 per person for the jazz band that played for an hour. But aren't they already paid by the municipality of Moncalieri? And it's not the only place offering these insane prices, which aren't displayed and don't even reflect the service...!
It's situated on the main square and was open on Monday, so was good. We ordered aperitivo, drinks was good but the food was dangerous to eat... Meet was old and blue colour and smells so bad. Only okay was chips and grissini. Not recommended.
For two hot chocolates and four baci (not even artisanal but industrially made) €16 is truly exaggerated! I don't understand why we should make so much of it, not to mention the terrible impression it made. Never mind, we definitely won't be back.
We had two coffees at the counter, but given the limited space, we moved outside, placing our cups on a table but not sitting down. When paying, he asked me for two euros per coffee because we had consumed it outside. I'm speechless, I hope the management changes soon.
Terrible experience! Crazy prices, out of line with the setting and service offered. We're in Moncalieri, not Monte Carlo. 2 cappuccinos €5.50. Not recommended.
A half-bottle of water 3 euros A coffee 2 euros A juice 5.50...we're in Moncalieri, not Monte Carlo. You won't see me anymore.
My wife and I had a macchiato coffee and a small barley coffee and I paid 4.20 euros, judge for yourself in my opinion it's excessive, I called the owner and he told me the price was right.
