The place was nice, but what I didn't like was the girls, not all of them. One blonde, especially, wore very short shorts and thought she was Miss Italy, but shame on her. We decided to go for a drink at this place and sat on the last terrace, with only a few tables to manage but a huge wait. After a quarter of an hour, we decided to call directly to ask if they could come and take our order. For the record, there were no menus at the tables, nor when the waitress arrived. The waitress came in, very pissed off, took our order for four cocktails, asked if we wanted a platter as well. She said yes, the platter was fine, and brought us our drinks fairly quickly. We decided to order a second round and waited for someone to arrive, but to no avail. I decided to go inside and ask if someone could come and take our second order, telling her I was going to order the same cocktail but the guys outside wanted to order something else, and she told me they couldn't make the platter for the second round. Fine, no problem. The waitress came in, still very pissed off, and brought us the exact same cocktails we ordered the first round without anyone asking. So, whatever, we shut up. We went to pay and asked for a minimal explanation about the price without the platter and why they had brought back the same cocktails, after asking him to come and take more orders, and all hell broke loose. The girl started crying as if we'd tortured her and threatened to call the police. A typical redneck (in a gray Fiat 500 Abarth with the name Frankie 87 on the dashboard) got up from a table of her friends and came face-to-face with me (because you can't even ask for explanations for terrible service anymore) to show off, telling me I didn't know who he was and that I'd been talking dirty the whole time, which wasn't true because there was no reason. I'm not blaming the owners, because it's already a difficult time in the restaurant industry and we know perfectly well how things work in this country. But anyone who works in this industry and feels like an owner when the boss is away should treat all customers (assuming they behave appropriately) the same way, whether friends or not. Because the boss pays you your salary, but it's the customers who bring you the money the boss uses to pay you at the end of the month. If the boss decided to look at the cameras, he'd realize how things really went.
