Dos Victorias Mexican Food Monterey Reviews
A go-to for my family whenever we visit Monterey! Burritos are very fresh and flavorful no matter which kind you get.
Best carne asada fries in town! Their burritos are pretty good too but I get their carne asada fries almost weekly. I recommend taking it To Go and crossing the street to the little spot by the water with benches.
Five Stars! My husband is a picky eater and we both definitely enjoyed their chicken burritos ! The veggies in it were different from what we're used to, but delicious different! The cashier was friendly and the service was super quick which made our experience better. Parking was accessible. The price was right for the size of the burrito ( and it was packed with a lot of chicken). We're on vacation and thought to try this place. I'm so glad we did ! It is a " little taco spot" but SO WORTH IT !!
Best spot in Monterey for breakfast burritos, from first bite you can tell it’s all fresh ingredients cooked perfectly, seasoned to perfection. Great location, easy parking and fast service. This will be your new go to spot.
I placed an order over the phone. Sometimes when I call in my orders I want to change my voice. Or speak in a different pace or use words I don't usually use. I want to try another personality out. My friends and family already know me, it'd be weird if I did that with them. If I changed my voice when ordering here, the cashier at Dos Victorias wouldn't have anything to compare it to. They'd just think that someone on this Earth talks and sounds like that. I might like the new way I talk and sound. I might want to make it my new identity. It's scary trying to be a new person with the people that already know me. What if they don't like the new person I become? I'd like to think that if they really loved me, they'd love any person I turn into, but that can't be true. If I started kicking every dog I see, I hope my loved ones would stop loving me. The change I want to make in my life isn't that drastic, I just want to talk a little differently sometimes. Like it'd be fun to speak in third person more. What would happen if Luke started doing this? Would I lose some of my family and friends? Luke is ready to take that chance. The next time Luke orders over the phone, Luke will speak in third person. It will help save time too, the cashier won't need to ask for the name on the order. Anyway, Luke thoroughly enjoyed his burrito from here.
Probably my favorite fish tacos in Monterey. So much flavor, the fish is not over battered & the slaw on top is so good! The salsas are so flavorful (the red one is AMAZING). Even the rice & beans are packed with flavor, which I find are normally bland. Such a great option & super affordable!! A must if you are in the bay on Cannery Row! Went here for the first time with my friends for a Valentine's outing. We ordered the Carne Asada fries which was very flavourful. Staff was very friendly. Would definitely recommend!! Hidden gem.
Tasty. I come here every time I visit Monterey. Chicken chimichanga always fried to perfection. Take out and eat at Breakwater Cove tables for best experience. Edit, January 9: Outdoor tables available now, though eating by the beach is still better. Asada California burrito is wonderful.
I got the chicken quesadilla and the spices they added really enhanced the flavor. No need to ask for extra green sauce!! (They gave way too much in the first place haha). Super burritos were highly recommended, and prices are very worth it. The tortillas were really soft, it gave it a perfect wrap texture. Great experience in Monterey.

Went there to grab a quick dinner but ended up eating the best fish burrito I've ever had. The dining area across the stairs from the kitchen was empty and the kitchen/ordering area had very few customers at the time. Definitely the most delicious fish Mexican food I've eaten!
Delicious food, friendly service, good prices. The carnitas are weel seasoned and not too fatty, the torta bread is soft and fresh, he nachos supreme are truly supreme The separate seating area space across the kitchen is also theirs.
Excellent takeout for breakfast burritos. Everything is cooked well, it’s fresh, the salsas are tasty, and the portions are healthy sized. With the pricing on the cheaper side, it’s the way to go. Can’t ask for much more.
Excellent food with consistent quality throughout the years. My favorite local Mexican food place. I highly recommend the breakfast burritos

This place is really good! Came here with a fish and shrimp taco craving, left with a happy belly and no complaints. We got the fish taco plate, shrimp taco plate, and shrimp enchiladas plate. The shrimp seemed like it may have been boiled instead of grilled, and the enchilada sauce was just 2 points off of great. The rice and beans here are great! I would absolutely come back for fish tacos here though (was probably the best plate out of the three that we got).
I’m glad I gave this place a second try. My first experience yesterday morning was not very pleasant. The cashier seemed bothered she had to take my order and barked at me if I wanted salsa, despite being the only customer inside… this evening was a complete 360 with friendlier gentleman ringing in my order and even kinder cook who peeked his head out from the pick up window with kind eyes and asked if I wanted salsa. I’m very glad to have come back again to remember this experience, very endeared by the service. The supreme quesadillas ordered on both experiences were a great value although would require a bit more handling to eat.
They have Southern California style burritos! Carne asada was tender and flavor and didn’t have any gristle. Pico and guacamole were great compliments. Only knock is that the tortilla was incredibly sweet. A really nice texture, but man was it like eating cake. This was a great meal after a conference on a cold rainy Friday night.

We had a handful of folks that ordered different items from the menu including burritos, enchiladas, and flautas. Everyone enjoyed the food. There's a beach park a block away with tables. Also ample room to eat inside the restaurant. A solid choice for those that don't want to spend an arm and a leg on Cannery Row and open for some simple Mexican food.
The food was decent overall. I ordered a carne asada burrito and my girlfriend had a chicken quesadilla. My burrito was good, although the beans were not the best, but the rest of it was fine. Unfortunately, the chicken quesadilla was disappointing, as it contained significantly more bell peppers than chicken. Additionally, the sodas we purchased were expired, which is concerning. Serving expired beverages is a health and safety issue and could cause problems, especially for customers with sensitive stomachs. With some improvements in quality control and attention to product dates, this place could provide a much better customer experience.
We ordered take-out and found the service to be fast, with a friendly cashier. The food was average, not particularly outstanding. The rolled tacos lacked crunch, and the birria quesadillas could have been crispier. There's street parking available, but it might get busy and packed on weekends.
Tacos were pretty good.. my Burrito wasn't all that good but was okay to still eat. Lots of flies which was eh but I ger it... But those tacos were pretty good with the sauce.

The Food was just OK. The Salsas had No Flavor. Place was loud, so had to sit on the other side where the TV was. However couldn't even watch the TV becuase they haven't changed the batteries in the remote control. Tables where Dirty and No Napkins Holders at the tables. Plus it was Pricey for just bland food. Will Not be Back.
