Pho Avenue Mountain View Reviews
This place is a neighborhood gem! We keep coming back to Pho Avenue for its wonderfully fresh and flavorful food in a relaxed, casual setting. The staff is always so welcoming (Vin and Lisa, in particular, are great!), which makes every visit a pleasure. A huge plus is their dedicated vegetarian menu section, with plenty of delicious and vegan-friendly choices. My go-to order is the #17 Vermicelli Noodle with Tofu. Pro tip: For a little extra, I swap the fried egg roll for their amazing vegetarian summer rolls. If you’re craving something more spicy, try the #16. White Rice - Chilli Lemongrass Tofu Spicy. Just a heads-up: parking in the area can be tricky during peak lunch times, but it's always been worth the effort for us. Highly recommend!
Great tasting Vietnamese food. The place is a bit rundown tho so don't expect anything fancy or a super clean place but if you're after an authentic tasting Vietnamese food, this place ia a good choice.
Arrived by chance for lunch and absolutely loved it. We will definitely come back to try more dishes. Stuff was very nice as well! We ordered for 2 people: summer roles, popcorn chicken and house rice special. **In love with the summer roles!! Came with 3 nice sauces
I only got the pho, but I really enjoyed it. The broth wasn’t watered down, it wasn’t too salty and the noodle texture was nice. Most importantly they were super generous with the meat. I never had so much in a pho bowl before - even though I got the regular. I cannot attest to other dishes, but this one rocks. Total was about $17 for the dish excluding tip. I will say I had to park behind the restaurant as the parking had no available spaces. The place had adequate ventilation and didn’t make my clothes smell.
Very good food and they was very friendly with us, the place looks very clean and well maintained, as soon someone go out they quickly go to the table to cleanup, we really liked that! First dish was a vegetable with rice noodles and chicken base, second was the special of the house with steamed beef, thr average price was 15$ per dish, they also offer a very good green tea with jasmine. Both dishes was very taste and fresh, I definitely recommend this restaurant.
Very clean restaurant. Service was excellent and food was super fresh!! I highly recommend this place. I tried The summer spring rolls, the combo pho, and the rice plate with rice, chicken, and shrimp. The owners were the best!
Got tired of Pho Vi Hua quality, service and wait time so found this down the block, and been coming here instead for the past few years. The pho quality is very good each time, as well as the spring rolls. They are not cheap with the bean sprouts and basil leaves either. The tough looking guy hosting us each time is the warmest also. I’ve been coming here all the time now. Only downside is the parking is tight here.
Excellent food! Careful asking for big sizes, they're HUGE! But you won't regret everything is delicious. They offer a nice flavor experience to explore end enjoy. Very clean and nice plus friendly with little children. It would be very good if attendant is aware of costumers instead of being on the cellphone, seemed as if she felt annoyed when costumers were asking for assistance.
Clean and tidy. Just the pho fell a bit short of my taste. I'd say 4.5 stars
I really liked the service at this place, it was super nice. The food came out really quick too, which was awesome. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely give it 5 stars. I highly recommend checking it out!
What a hidden gem. Definitely our new go to. Food is fresh, the family that runs it is so nice, friendly and fast, and place is super clean and no frills. They also serve Bun Bo Hue, which not many pho places do, and they have specifically kids size pho ($6) for kiddos.
Good and cheap pho. The meal was fresh, hot and tasted really good. Can only recommend this place

The best veg pho I have had till now. They make it spicy on request. Worth every penny spent for the large pho. I can have two meals from one large pho.
I am a regular here. Best spring rolls in Santa Clara County, and I don’t have *exhaustive* experience, but I’ve tried enough to not want to try any more! Calling in an order is quick and painless, food is ready in a flash, customer service is always pleasant. Excellent all around! Last time I checked, there were no public bathrooms, though. Not worth deducting a star, just something to be aware of. Parking lot is small, but I’ve never had trouble getting a spot.
Good pho, but not quite as flavorful as others. Served quickly and very satisfying. Exactly what I needed after a long work day. Lots of folks get take-out here, but there are plenty of booths inside.
Loved this place; very reasonable prices, super quick service and large portions. Great for a quick grab n go!

I had a very good experience at this Thai restaurant overall. I ordered the meatball pho and it was great. The prices were fair for the quality, which makes it a great value. The service was friendly and attentive, although I have to say the atmosphere of the restaurant wasn’t particularly warm or inviting. Despite that, the good food and solid service made up for it. I’ll definitely come back again.
Stop by this vietnamese pho restaurant on the way to the movie theater. It is a small restaurant with a couple of stores in the same complex. Parking is limited. Interior is like regular restaurant. We order pho combination and bun bun hue. The order was ready pretty quickly. The pho soup is yummy and still hot until the last scoop. It only has one piece of tendon and one piece of tripe. The steak is a bit overcooked. The bun bun hue is also yummy. It's not too spicy. They also have lemon grass sauce for dipping, and It is unique. They also have fresh chili paste. You pay at cashier.
Customer service very attentive!!! I've ordered a large steak and fatty brisket, nothing was left on that bowl! Thank you for the tasty food for a foodie!!!
Modern atmosphere but the food has a home-cooked feel. Chicken pho had a very satisfying broth w plenty of chicken. The spring rolls with pork and shrimp were freshly prepared. The bean sprouts were crunchy and juicy. Very limited parking. Come early for lunch to avoid waiting for a table. Highly recommend this joint.

It was ok, but not recommended. Customer service was lacking. Constantly had to fetch someone to order, get more water, etc. They did apologize for the fly and replaced the bowl of soup. The sliced pork was flavored but dry. Their beef stew and pho broth are very sweet but the meat was very tender. The portions are just right. The fried popcorn chicken was dry and hard, too salty.
