Tasty Italian food with an amazing wine collection. Variety of antipasti, and they have good tiramisu.

The only complaint I have is that my husband and I were seated in a corner behind the reception desk with 3 tables we were not able to see anything of the fun around us. The waiters and the food were excellent
Fantastic. Staff was attentive. They have a $25 uncorking fee which was awesome! Their pasta was amazing. I got the beef bolognese and it was delicious. Someone else got the pesto gnocchi and I really enjoyed that as well. The dessert was the real winner though! They had this lavender orange crème brûlée and it was out of this would. Will for sure be going back there next time I am in Napa
Fantastic! Tucked in an old bank, Allegria brings some of the best food and service we received in Napa! We had a late reservation but arrived early and they graciously accommodated us. I got the pasta special and my boyfriend got the pappardelle allo zafferano. Both dishes were perfectly prepared and there was not a drop left on either plate. Our waiter, Mike, was amazing, there when we needed him but not overbearing. Empty plates were picked up quickly and everyone served with a smile. Thank you Allegria for the great experience.
We were in a bit of a rush to get back to the last ferry crossing of the night when we ate here. We did have a reservation so we were seated quickly. We explained our predicament and the waiter and staff were so accommodating. The meal was excellent and the service was beyond pleasant. Highly recommend the skirt steak, AMAZING!
Omg this restaurant was worth the 2 hour drive. My husband brought me here Saturday for an early Valentine’s date. The server we had was awesome. The Penne Chicken Pasta was perfect especially with the corn inside of it. My dinner was very satisfying towards I was debating if I should have dessert. However, I end up getting the cheesecake which was delicious and it reminded me so much of New York. A great place for a date!
This was our first time visiting this restaurant and it did not disappoint! The service was amazing as it was our anniversary and we arrived with a happy anniversary card on our table. The food was amazing and had great flavor! We definitely plan to come back. The service was so quick and attentiveness. I would recommend visiting this place for some great food and great dining areas!
I have visited Napa 3 times but never stayed overnight, or come to the downtown since we would always be in the vineyards. Found this highly rated restaurant in Napa downtown and had to give it a try. Came here in a group of 4 girlies with 3 vegetarians (🌱). They have multiple vegetarian options on the menu. Ordered 2 antipasti (Mac and Cheese Arancini, Bruschetta), 2 pasta (Gnocchi Al Pesto, Spaghetti Pomodoro), and 1 dessert (Crème Brûlée), 1 side of Broccoli, and 1 side of chicken for our non veg girlie, which was enough for the 4 of us, it came out to be $30-35pp with tip and tax. The antipasti/ starters were great - very fresh tomatoes in the bruschetta. We are used to more salt and spice - both the pastas felt a little bland and not so spicy. Broccoli balanced the lack of greens in the food. Please make a reservation in advance since this place is booked out
Traditional Italian white tablecloth restaurant in a historic building with outdoor seating space. The carpaccio was thin and tasty. Wasn’t over oiled like some. The arugula salad was fairly plain with pear strips. My dining companion had it with chicken, which is a little bulky and plain. It could have been sliced up a bit thinner to make it easier to eat. The chocolate mousse cake was delicious and not overly sweet. The bread starter has a really tasty sweet onion and oil spread that was really different. Another visit, September 2022, still terrific food.
Our dining experience at this restaurant was delightful. The atmosphere was lovely, and the food was delicious, with the dessert stealing the show. Adding to the charm was our hilarious waiter, who kept us entertained throughout the evening. Overall, a great spot for a memorable meal!
We recently held our daughter’s celebration of life luncheon on the patio at Ristorante Allegria. This was a very difficult time for my family. The care and kindness showed from the initial reservation arrangements by Baris and Giselle to the actual day coordination and attentive service by our server, Nataly, helped make a difficult day go smoothly. It was all I hoped for, peaceful and positive with excellent food. If I could add more stars to this rating I would. By all means, if you want an event or simply a night out with delicious food, Ristorante Allegria is an excellent choice.
After a very fun wine tour in one of winery in Napa, we came to Allegria with a big group of Indonesians for lunch. I was one of the tour leaders. I was briefed that Allegria has one of the best Italian food in town. I proved it right! I loved the ambience, the building, the decor, the service and most of all the food. I really enjoyed every single plate I had: the fresh salad, the crispy calamari, the crunchy bruschetta, the capellini (angel hair pasta), the grilled salmon with spinach and mashed potato might look simple in term of presentation but tastewise is so rich. The tiramisu is so good too. My clients told me that they really enjoyed the food. They're also impressed by the warmth of the staffs. In fact, they even said that lunch in Allegria is one of the best things during their trip in SF. Thank you Allegria for the great food and the service. However, there's a little suggestion from my clients that for a big restaurant like Allegria, you would probably consider to have a more restroom to avoid a long queue. Well, we, Asians, love toilet by the way. Hahaha.
Fantastic Italian food in the middle of Napa California. You'll see pictures of the menu and of the spaghetti carbonara. You'll also see pictures of their fantastic bread which has a great combination emersed in olive oil. You also see a picture of the penne de Pollo which is fantastic. It is a must try.
Took my girlfriend there for Xmas and it was very romantic. The food was great tho some dishes lacked a bit of flavors (calamari) but the service was impeccable and the setting is pretty great took! Will come back again
Alfredo was very attentive and professional. The atmosphere was relaxing and comfortable. The food was delicious and drinks were excellent. Service at the bar was excellent. After a long day of traveling it was the perfect comfort food. Thank you so much. Very nice people!
We went there for a birthday dinner on a Saturday. Great food and lovely outdoor seating next to downtown. They were extremely busy but the service was polite and very fast. We enjoyed gnocchi and the saffron pasta. The dessert of apple crisp was ok. The wine choice was excellent. We got the Pinot Noir and the Cabernet Sauvignon
The fried fennel in the calamari pile was delicious!! I loved it. Service was super quick and reminded me of the stellar service we tried to give when o used to work at a fancy steakhouse—think waiters going around to refill your water before you need it, and bussing as soon as they can. The bread pudding wasn’t my fave, but the creme brulee was wonderful! The pasta was perfectly cooked for the shrimps in saffron
Fantastic! Food rated scale of 1-5 Dipping Bread & garlic oil = 4.5 Warm Cabbage Salad = 5 Wild Mushroom Ravioli = 5 Skirt steak = 4.3 Pork chop = 3.9 Pollo rapieno = 3.8 Filet Mignon =3.8 Shrimp Papperdelle = 3.8 Salmon = 3.3 Sausage Penne (sausage not so good) = 2 Bread Pudding = 5 (one of the best) Lavender & Orange Creme Brulee = 5 Chocolate mousse 4
Amazing. The food and the atmosphere was amazing. Great music playing too. We enjoyed everything we got. We got the cozze, the wild mushroom ravioli, and the spaghetti pomodoro. We came back the very next day and tried more. We had to as it was so good. We've also recommended to a friend that's working in napa now.
I had a really great experience eating here this past weekend. Reservations were readily available for Saturday lunch (made just a few days prior, which is tough to do in downtown Napa). They have both indoor and outdoor dining available, and we elected to eat indoors. The restaurant seemed to be taking all proper precautions including wearing a mask, cleaning surfaces, and they had even set up plexiglass dividers between tables. They somehow managed to do it while maintaining a nice atmosphere inside the restaurant. More importantly, the food here was absolutely amazing. Some of the best Italian food I've ever had (no exaggeration). We had the calamari appetizer, and two different pasta dishes. The calamari was delightfully flakey and cooked to perfection. The pastas both had rich and deep flavors, and they were portioned perfectly. I was not expecting such amazing Italian food from a restaurant in downtown Napa. We will be back!
My buddy and I had just arrived in Napa, dropped our things at the Marriott and drove to the town square, only a few minutes from our hotel. Parking is tricky in small squares, we had to circle the block a couple of times but found a parking lot not too far away. It was a nice walk to the restaurant and at 4pm on a Friday afternoon, they had a few people but it wasn't too busy. We chose to sit out on the patio. It was so nice! Our server, Erika was friendly, maybe a little stiff and I had to wait a lot longer than I should have for my water to be refilled, but she was pleasant, did her job and knew the menu, as well as the wines. Although we didn't like the 1st one she brought us, I loved the 2nd choice - the Syrah, Lunar Ridge $14 and had 2 glasses! We weren't in any rush, we'd just flown in from Dallas and wanted to enjoy the time. I ordered the filet mignon $49.50 which was so good. It was seasoned and cooked perfectly and the presentation was lovely. My friend had the pappardelle allo zaferano $29.50 and really enjoyed it. She also had the ensalata mista $11.50. We chatted with the people at the next table and they were 1st timers here also and really enjoyed it. I went inside to visit the restroom and the dining area was nice. There is a huge bar that runs the length of the room on one side. To finish our meal, we both had dessert - I had the chocolate mousse cake $12 and my friend had the apple berry fruit crisp $12. They were yummy and the presentation was superb! I recommend this place for a nice evening!
A must visit Italian restaurant in Napa Valley. Good food and great wine in an eclectic atmosphere with attentive service. Went here for our 20th Anniversary. The seafood was fresh and the steak done perfectly. The pasta was good. They provided a good wine recommendation that was to our tastes and paired well with the food. The Tiramisu was delicious but the complementary Cabernet Sauvignon Sorbet was just divine. Great experience.
Thank you again! Lunch was a great success, and everyone was thrilled. The service from the welcome desk (Gigi and Erika) to the help assisting me to my car was exceptional. You truly make me look good with your gluten free options and other allergy restrictions. Thank you for being a reliable option for us.
Mario was the best! Food was delicious and came out relatively quick for a Friday night and party of 10. Thanks to Mario for the great service and for cutting our cake for us and serving it on plates. Had a great time! Will be back!
After coming through up to Napa valley I needed some Italian food to wash down all the wine. I came up this restaurant and I was incredibly pleased with the food. I had a seafood pasta dish and man it was flavorful. The prawns were so fresh and just incredible with the light vodka sauce that coated it. All my buddies loved their food and every dish especially the carbonara was great.
2025 Update: still wonderful service. The mushroom ravioli with Italian sausage was outstanding. The linguine with classic and the stuffed fish special was very good. We enjoyed the bread pudding with ice cream too. 2021: I highly recommend this spot. Our waitress, Natalie, was friendly, knowledgeable & helped in making our experience memorable. I had the Rigatoni con Salsiccia & it was absolutely devine. The Lavender & Orange Creme Brulee was amazing. We will definitely go back,, it was well worth the calories.
I came here with my husband and daughter. We also brought our daughter's little dog, so we sat outside. Dolce, her dog, was very well behaved and the staff was very kind to her. Our meal was sumptuous. The portions were very generous. We were able to split a menu item and we probably should have split more. Our daughter wanted to have her meal without garlic. Now I know that seems impossible at an Italian restaurant, but they were wanting to please and able to accommodate her. We would definitely come back here. I do highly recommend this place.
What a nice place! My wife and I were able to be seated right away without a reservation. Most surprising was how quickly our entrees came out. After we ordered i blinked and it was there. Fantastic fresh food! The staff and service were amazing. Very kind and attentive.
Wonderful Italian food. Can’t state enough how quickly everything came to the table. Old Fashions were made accordingly, food was hot and salads were so tasty. Also, can’t recommend the seared corn with white wine sauce on the side. I’ll be dreaming of it until we get back. We were able to sit outside and enjoy the street performers and wonderful people watching.
The food and service were great. They have gluten free pasta options. The music was a bit loud for me, but that's subjective. I do recommend this place, but as of January 2026, the parking is currently terrible in this part of Napa.
Absolutely incredible! We stopped in last night for a drink and ended up trying the Arancini. The best I’ve had since I’ve been in Italy. We saw the Alfredo last night and I went back for it today. My wife ordered the beef carpaccio and the skirt steak sandwich. The carpaccio was absolutely incredible, I could not believe they packed so much flavor into that skirt steak sandwich, and their chicken fettuccine Alfredo has redefined what good Alfredo is supposed to be. If you like the good taste of mushroom, they piled it in there as well. The place is gorgeous, and every bit of food was amazing. We hate to go to the same place more than once, but this will be something we come back for next time we come to Napa!
Mother/daughter trip to Napa. Mother’s Day evening we were looking for a light meal and happened upon Ristorante Allegria. The Caesar salad and skirt steak satay were delicious and filling. The bread at the table with the dipping oil was so good! The atmosphere and gorgeous setting made for a special meal.
The food is fantastic and the people that work at the restaurant probably are the best I ever experienced in all my years of eating at some great restaurants if you’re ever visiting in Napa Valley, this restaurant should be on your list of go to places. NAPA resident Robert Taylor I would also Like to say, my wife is is dying of pancreatic cancer and she really loved this place and I went there to pick up a meal from her a week ago. They were so caring it almost brought tears to my eyes.
Ristorante Allegria is a lovely restaurant very conveniently located in downtown Napa near shops and hotels. It was packed when we arrived for our reservation on a Thursday evening, which was a good sign! We were warmly greeted and promptly seated. The restaurant was humming and vibrant with the smell of wonderful fresh food, conversation and an efficient staff serving and interacting happily with the guests. Our server was. Crystal V. What a gem! I hope her management gives her a raise!! She was so welcoming, enthusiastic, accommodating, caring and really made our dining experience special. The food was well-prepared, served piping hot and delicious! Highly recommend and we will definitely be back!
I was here with my friends for their Mom's birthday dinner. We had made reservation for 8 pm but we finished our winery tour early so we requested if we can get seated early and the staff accommodated it happily. We were seated and our server came with menu and orders to take for drinks. We ordered our cocktail drinks and later we ordered for our food and we enjoyed their service, food was delicious and we enjoyed our cocktails and at the end a dessert with a candle was brought in and we all sang Happy birthday. The only issue was with their restrooms. They have a very few and it's always a big lineup there.
I enjoyed the fish with the mashed potatoes and the broccoli. I can by far say that the broccoli that was made here was so exquisite not too dry not too soft not too hard, but just right with the crunch. The fish the fish was made to a tea very good overall, I will come back here again and the crabcakes so good fire fire. Highly recommend this place to any one looking for some good crab cakes in the Napa Area
We had a wonderful meal January 9 on a Friday night. Our server was fantastic and everyone that came to deliver order did everything perfectly top-notch busy beautiful and happy to see all the hustle the staff. Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. I went off of reviews and there were six of us in each one of us had the best meal ever thank you
We enjoyed Christmas Eve dinner here and had a wonderful time. Our server was fantastic. The cocktails were great, especially their eggnog martini. The food was overall good, I enjoyed the papparadelle with the saffron. The bread pudding was great, if you like a smooth, more flan like consistency. Highly recommend this spot.
Went for Christmas Eve. The restaurant was packed. Even though, we received amazing service and the waitress was charming, respectful and a delight. The food also surprisingly came out on time, even though they were so busy. I asked for my entree to be served in a special way, and it came to the table exactly as I ordered it. The food was excellent, and the restaurant was beautifully decorated for Christmas, including a charming gentleman playing Christmas music on his Accordion. A wonderful experience. We live in Napa, and this will definitely be one of our favorite restaurants. Bravo, well done!
Located in downtown Napa, the restaurant is situated near most of the shops and other eateries. Parking was easy to find. The building itself was beautiful and very inviting. The menu was pretty extensive with a soup/dish special of the day. They also have a decent variety of wines to choose from; both imported and domestic. Our server was very nice and always came by our table to make sure we were taken care of. I highly recommend this restaurant to those who want to take their date out, or just those who want to have good quality italian food.
Wonderful restaurant located near the Archer hotel where we stayed. The atmosphere here was very warm and romantic with tall ceilings and and upper area. The food here is very fresh and so flavorful. I ordered the shrimp with tagliatelle. Pasta was fresh made and the shrimp were perfectly cooked. The service was also very good and our server was super friendly and gave some solid recommendations. Our server recommend the Roasted Chicken and the shrimp with tagliatelle Great date night place!
We had a really solid dinner at Ristorante Allegria. The swordfish special was cooked perfectly and had great flavor. The pesto gnocchi was also really good. We also liked that they had outdoor seating available even on a rainy day, which made the meal more comfortable. We will definitely be going back!
Visiting Napa for our first time and Italian wasn’t too of my list, but wife made a reservation here. Went into a kept up rustic style restaurant and the wait staff was on it from the start. Our waiter Ritchie was very attentive and had some great recommendations. We started with portobello mushroom served with polenta and also an arugula salad with the pine nuts and apples. Our main course was a salmon served again with polenta with that was very fresh and delicious. I ordered a linguine di mare, but with a twist I got it with gluten free alternative. Let me tell you this plate was just as awesome and did not let me down one bit. For dessert we got this fabulous sundae that was actually made out of gelato and was so creamy and had to be the best dessert I had in years. The entire time in the background of this setting they had a live accordion player, playing all the great classic Italian hits. What a gem this place truly is. If ever we comeback to Napa, this will be our first stop.
Great early dinner. Dined outside in the patio which was private and well shaded. Excellent service. Calamari was great to start with, crispy and not over fried. Bruschetta was good, one slight criticism would be the bread was thick and ratio of tomatoes was therefore off. Mac and cheese arancini were superb. Mains were all great. Parpadelle alla zafferano was a highlight
The food was absolutely AMAZING! Started off with the heirloom tomato salad! Not only did it taste amazing, it looked amazing! The dressing w the feta was the perfect combo that created a unique flavor. Absolutely going back just for that! Also had the tomato soup and it was amazing as well. A larger portion than expected, which was a pleasant surprise! Ended up having the day's special that consisted of spinach stuffed ravioli w rock shrimp. 1st, the portion size was great! 2nd, it tasted amazing as well! The sauce had a hint of a seafood taste to it. It was buttery tasting, yet light. Also, the price was right! I thought it would be $300 and came out to $125 for 2 of the specials, 2 drinks and soup and salad. To add the cherry on top, the staff was also amazing! Our server was was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The table was bussed perfectly as we finished each plate. The atmosphere was also amazing. It was definitely packed, but each table kept its own intimacy.
This restaurant in Napa is such a gem. We came with a larger family group, including a few energetic little ones and the staff couldn't have been more gracious. They handled everything with warmth and professionalism, making us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived. The kids' menu had good options that the kids actually enjoyed which made the whole dining experience so much smoother. As for the food, it was absolutely divine. I ordered the linguine frutti di mare and it was perfection. Elegant atmosphere, kind service and unforgettable food. I can't wait to come back.

Great Ambiance & excellent service, Absolutely loved the soft music playing. Sat at bar and the bartender was so well versed and polite. Had the best Expresso Martini!!! Yes with real coffee!
Yummy and really cool atmosphere. Quick service and large menu but slightly pricey. price makes sense for the vibe though and food felt high quality.

Host was accommodating and we got a table. Place was busy but service was great and prompt. I enjoy the casual atmosphere. If thinking about celebrating something like Anniversary, reserve the balconies and it will be perfect for intimate conversations. Food was delicious! Full bar and great wine selection. Enjoy it!
All appetizer’s here were great, specially the burrata. I ordered a fruti di mare spaghetti, and although it was enjoyable, I did found a very strong and unpleasant taste in the mussels. Lucky me I did not have any sort of problem afterwards. Other than that, the experience was great. Very good atmosphere to go with family and friends.
The food was great and filling. However, crew service wasn't as great as I expected. Maybe we were just seated on a spot that's a bit hidden. Food also took a while to get on our table. Terikayki steak is cooked with wine and very tender. Onion rings could have been crispier. Tortilla chicken soup is good. The Calamari is good but I've tasted way better. Black berry sorbet is great! I would have eaten more.
Located in a Historic Landmark @Napa, one of the oldest (since 1916) and finest Italian restaurant🍝All pastas are AMAZING and bread before main dish is so good!!! My favorite was PAPPARDELLE ALLO ZAFFERANO & WILD MUSHROOM RAVIOLI. Their wine selections👍🏽and bottle prices are very reasonable!
I love this place. Great food. The papardeli pasta has huge prawns. The seabass special with a mango sauce and served with mashed potatoes and asparagus. The filet was cooked to perfection- medium rare and so tender. The bolognese has a mixture of meat, I love the ground lamb in it. The bread is fresh and served with a housemade dipping olive oil, sweet sauteed onion, and balsamic- delicious. Very nice wine selection. I paired the food with a tasty 2022 Baldacci Elizabeth Pino Noir from Carneros region Napa Valley. I have brought my family here for many years and we have never had a complaint. They are very consistant anout perfecting their flavors. We will continue going here
Allegria has a lot going for it great food, nice ambiance, and a rare perk: they’ll let you open your own bottle of wine for free, as long as it’s not on their menu. That’s a big plus if you’re bringing a special bottle. Just a heads-up: I wouldn’t recommend booking too close to closing time. The service felt a bit rushed toward the end, which took away from the overall experience. The pappardelle allo zafferano was incredible. If you like shrimp and mushrooms, don’t skip this dish. Total standout.
Food and service were absolutely amazing. Our server was great at checking on us but not being overbearing and I Had a Napa Cabbage salad and I'm still thinking about how delicious it was. The Porkchops tasted fantastic and the Apple crisp we finished our meal with was awesome. We will definitely return.
Was able to reserve a table day of for a late lunch. They will reserve parties of 5 or more tou just have to call in. Service was on point. Dinner bread is served with a sweet onion oil which is so good that it should be sold to go. We had everything from pasta to steak. All dishes were full of flavor. The steaks are extremely tender and highly recommended! Love the atmosphere the restaurant used to be First National Bank.
Great Saturday lunch experience with friends. Kicked off with a bottle of Rose, Bruschetta and Mushrooms and Minestrone soup.. Riley gave good service and host seated us promptly. The complimentary bread and Olive dip was fantastic. Main course included the special sword fish, pasta and raviolli. Had a couple of iterations of past with pjnk vodka sauce without chicken and corn but eventually came out right. Topped off with cremebule and Tiramisu.. Sides of corn and polento was good. patio seating was comfortable with heaters. The interiors looked warm and cosy. Recommended..
Ristorante Allegria is known for its Italian-inspired California cuisine, set in a stunning historic 1916 bank building with soaring 35-foot ceilings and a unique, elegant ambiance. In addition to the charming interior, they offer spacious, comfortable heated outdoor seating. The menu features a variety of options, from homemade pastas to fresh seafood and hearty meats. We ordered the Linguini with Clams, Spaghetti Frutti Di Mare, Caesar Salad, and Pappardelle Allo Zafferano, each dish delicious and perfect for sharing. We truly enjoyed the flavors and experience.
I went here for a simple quaint birthday celebration. It was a rainy day, but we had reservations, so we got it fine. However, they made us sit by the door. It was upsetting because with a reservation done way in advance, I was expecting a bit of a better seat in the room. Anyhow I found their service very mediocre. The server was not very interested in taking our orders. My wine was stale and the food was okay. Overall, not a great experience and I will skip it on my next visit.
Waiter was good and food came in a timely manner. Wife didn’t care for the sardines in the Caesar salad (yes, we know it’s made out of them) but having them whole made the salad too fishy tasting to be completely enjoyable. Overall food was good but nothing spectacular to bring us back.
Food: 100% recommending Lasagna from this place. I’m usually very easy to get tired of the thick taste of cheese but this one makes me want to finish the whole thing! The lavender orange crème brûlée is tasty as well. They have fewer choices of glass wine to choose from but the collection of bottle wine is amazing. Service: staff is nice and welcoming even the Valentine’s Day weekends are busy and it was a full house. Ambiance: this restaurant used to be an old bank building and we’re sitting in more like half outdoor patio seat. The atmosphere is nice; good for couple or elegant friend and family gatherings.

Went here for my bday dinner, fish was overcooked. Ruined the whole celebration. Don't order seafood here.
Great lunch menu with wonderful wines. Everything was delicious with great service! ambience is inviting with a cool bar.

Food was delicious. Decor is adorable. Seating can be a bit tight but that's common for the business in this area. The service was great and fun to talk to. prices were rather high though.

We eyed this spot during the height of the pandemic as things were starting to open outdoors and seemed like a must try. We were disappointed though now that we have. Maybe we had high expectations based on crowd sizes. Service was average, waitress was nice, but everyone else just did not appear to like working there. Food had nothing that stood out. Surprised that this could happen in downtown. Also, if you don’t bring sunglasses ask to be seated inside or under the permanent porch area as the tent will be too bright and it has ventilation issues so will get hot quick.
First , the food : It wasn't bad at all, they serve you the bread with a sauce of olive oil; balsamic vinegar and pickled onions, amazingly flavorful and fresh, although the bread could have been warmer and fresher. We ordered the carpaccio; a great flavorful dish with capress and cheese . The mustard sauce is what takes it to the next level, there is also some chopped fresh onions that I personally loved . The Pastas : I had the Tagliatelle, and my wife ordered The pappardelle . Both were good but not exceptional. Mine was a little bit overcooked, with the pasta sticking to each other in some parts. My wife thought the pasta and the sauce were OK, but the shrimps were undercooked and chewy. The Service : very poor customer service. First; we felt rushed and not welcomed by our waitress. We felt almost underlooked. She didn't take the time that needed to be taken in our table and wasn't available if we needed any assistance. She didn't serve the wine I ordered from at the table. As a restaurant in napa, wine should always be brought to the table and poured into the glass at the table. We were literally waiting 10 minutes to make eye contact with her to ask for the check, and when we did , she brought it and left again for another 10 minutes. Usually I always tip a minimum of 20% , even with this customer service I was going to leave a 10% ; but as she wasn't coming to take the check, I ended up leaving the exact amount and leaving the restaurant. I made sure I told the lady at reception that we weren't satisfied with the customer service. Overall, I think we were unlucky with our waitress; we noticed that the overall waiters were very professional and took the necessary time with each table. Special mention to the lady who sat us at the table who was very professional. She even remembered my name when I left. I hope that this experience has nothing to do with any ethnic discrimination. The restaurant was very busy , and a new waitress without experience would have performed the same. I will probably give it another chance; but for now, I'm not recommending it to my guests. ( I'm a napa Valley local guide and limo chauffeur)
Darkish, sort of cozy romantic restaurant in what appears to be an old bank. The service was really nice but couldn’t save some of the pasta dishes which were bland. It sort of seemed like the pasta hadn’t been drained from the water before it was cooked in a sauce. We tried the carbonara and their special ravioli and both were lacking in flavor and tasted watered down.
I came to this restaurant for my 30th birthday and the restaurant overcharged me for my food. They charged me for a dish more expensive than what I actually ordered. I explained clearly to the waiter and management about the charge. Instead of fixing the charge they went around in circles about why they charged me instead of solving the issue. Although the food is good. Be careful coming here and make sure they charge you properly for what you ordered. Definitely scammers.
Be prepared to be here long if you're coming on a Saturday. Very slow service, but very friendly. Food was good, but no one in my group said it was amazing. If you are forced to sit outside on the patio at night, you will get very hot under the heat lamps. We still had a good time, but I doubt I'll come back here on the weekend.
We made our Valentine’s Day reservation two months in advance and specifically requested the railing table on the mezzanine overlooking the downstairs, which we received last year, but this time the request wasn’t honored and we were seated near the dish‑station area where the frequent dish rattling was a distraction. My lobster ravioli with lobster bisque and sautéed prawns was very tasty, and I especially enjoyed the bisque, while my wife’s penne con pollo had dry, sparse chicken and was mostly pasta, which was disappointing. Our waitress’ warm personality and attentive service helped redeem the evening, but with the food being a bit hit‑or‑miss and the well‑in‑advance seating request not being honored, we’re unsure if we’ll return.
service was great!\nAmbiance was personable and not too loud.\nI ordered the bolognese and it was okay lacked flavor for my taste.
The pasta in the night's special was very dense, was disappointing, would not order again. The pappardelle was better, but also a little heavier than I prefer. Overall, seems hit or miss.

Food was good but really felt rushed and like every other place in napa over priced would reccomend but try and slow them down
Waited 45 minutes for our table even though we had a reservation. Not the end of the world- we went across the street for a glass of wine while we waited. I really wanted to try this place since it…
We made a reservation here for our birthday but they ignored our request for special seating. I’ve been here before so I thought I might enjoy it again. I liked the ambiance of the restaurant as it was formerly a heritage building - a bank converted to a restaurant with two floors. This second time was a disaster. A friday night at 7pm in the summer and they ran out of seafood ingredients for some key dishes. We could not order the dishes we wanted. They tried to make up for it with a complimentary dessert but it was a fail. We were very disappointed with the experience.
Service and atmosphere great. Overall underwhelmed by the food. Ordered cozze mussels, i really enjoyed them and they were cooked well. We also ordered the flatbread appetizer. Very fresh and simple. Wish there was some sort of oil or moisture on the focaccia. For entrees we shared the pork picatta, papardelle, and pesto gnocchi. pork dish was comforting, but not worth the price. Pappardelle was very creamy and heavy. Shrimp was cooked perfectly but overall the dish was one note. The gnocchi i was most excited for and was the most disappointing. Gnocchi was genuinely raw and chewy. Pesto was bland. It felt barely edible. Beautiful restaurant, very nice people but especially for the price I was very disappointed.
My partner and I were very excited to try this restaurant while vacationing in Napa and craving Italian food. However, we were disappointed with the poor service, food, and chaotic atmosphere. We made a reservation beforehand and were quickly seated upon arrival. Since it was very loud and noisy inside, we requested to be re-seated outside instead of inside. We were re-seated next to a couple with 3 little kids, one of them was running, screaming, and crawling on the floor throughout the night. Probably not the best place to go on a date if you prefer somewhere quiet. We asked for pasta suggestions and our waitress recommended two of their most popular dishes. My partner ordered the pappardelle. After eating more than half the dish, my partner found a hair mixed in her pasta sauce. I flagged down a staff, showed the hair to him, and he showed our waitress. Our waitress rushed off back to the kitchen. After a couple minutes our waitress came back, told us they were going to make us another pasta dish, and then she darted off to take the order from the table next to us for another 5 minutes. The new dish came out and we were unable to talk to the waitress. We wanted to tell our waitress that we no longer wanted the dish since my partner lost her appetite, it would be leftovers, and we were going to fly out the next day. I still paid for the meal and took it to go. Also, I would like to note that the waitress didn’t offer an apology or say sorry. I thought it was handled very unprofessionally.
Their website says that the Restaurant Month special is offered "Sunday thru Thursday, exclusively in January." -- no mention of any exclusions. So I made a reservation for a Sunday, noting that I was planning on ordering the Restaurant Month special. When I arrived, I was told by the host "we're not doing the Restaurant Month special tonight due to the holiday". I prefer to give my business to restaurants that do what they say they're going to do.
