Cafe Fenix Nerja Reviews
Avrage setting, but the sun was shining perfectly on the outdoor seating. The waitress seemed to be having the time of her life, perhaps even more so than the guests. She had clearly sampled the menu extensively before our arrival. The beer was solid, though getting hold of it required some patience and creativity on our part
Such a lovely place ran by a wonderful lady. We stayed across the road at The RIU ( which was fantastic ) and came here most days; highly recommend.
Lugar con encanto y porder estar agusto y tranquilo. Buen servicio y comida
A small, very typical Spanish cafe/bar. The owner is very friendly and helpful. It's quieter than it deserves. Good beer and drinks. The food is limited to tapas and snacks but is very good for all that. It's worth crossing the road for.
After leaving an honest review about my experience here, it’s surprising to receive a negative review from a local guide on my business from someone with no connection to us. For transparency: our company operates internationally and has no link to this café. My initial feedback about the service still stands.
A dull experience. The food wasn’t very good, but the worst part was the service. The woman who served us was rude and started arguing with us when we wanted to pay by card. We also couldn’t see the card machine before tapping our card, which felt strange since you usually want to see the amount entered on the bill before paying. Would not recommend.
We were here a few weeks ago. It was the worst experience of the entire trip. We ordered a toast with cheese and tomato, and we received a slice of bread with pre-grated cheese that wasn’t even melted. The service was the worst. The woman was extremely rude and arrogant, and she refused to speak English with us even though we don’t understand Spanish. It was clear that she understood English, but she insisted on not using it. We didn’t understand anything she said, and she became angry and sighed when we explained that we genuinely didn’t understand her. I wouldn’t recommend this place.
We went to this café for a drink, and although the drinks were served quickly, about 10 minutes later the waitress started putting the chairs up as if they were about to close. It felt quite uncomfortable, especially since it wasn’t even 9:00 PM yet. One of the glasses that was supposed to be clean had lipstick stains on it, which was unpleasant. After she brought the whole terrace inside, the waitress came with the bill, and it really felt like we were being rushed to leave. I left half of my drink because of how awkward the atmosphere was. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this place.
