My grandson didn't like his pizza so they have him the Mac and cheese and he ate that up. My granddaughter liked her pizza just fine. Our waitress Amber was great!!

Everything was great and the staff was friendly! Craig was our waiter and he was very friendly, one of the best waiters we’ve had. My husband and I had such a great time. I got the Parmesan crusted chicken, which was sooo good. The sauce was divine. Craig went out of his way to give me extra sauce, knowing that it was a very popular request. I appreciated that a lot, because it turned out that I did want extra sauce. Thank you for a great experience and we look forward to coming back when we’re in town again!

Ordered the Alfredo, vanilla soda, and Apothic Red wine through Uber Eats and let me tell you. This was the best Alfredo I've ever had. Both the soda and wine complimented it very well! I'm an OTR truck driver, and you can bet that anytime I'm on the area, I'm ordering from here!

We have been here several times. I love the water way outside of the restaurant that continues down next to several businesses. Kids love it! It's perfect for a romantic stroll in the evening. The food is delicious. Every server we have had has been wonderful. The restaurant is large and seats a lot of people.

Went to dinner with the family on a Friday night around 9:00pm. Haven’t gone in a long time so the menu has changed some at least since a year ago. Our waitress Jillian was so helpful on navigating the menu and answered everything. She was really great. Will be back soon!

Axle is the best bartender this place has ever had. I have been coming to the restaurant since it opened. I live in Austin, but work in San Antonio quite a bit. Mar. 28, 2025-We had a large party of 40, and the waitresses were quick with taking orders and bringing drinks. It was a very busy night but everything ran smoothly. Our waitress was wonderful and made this an AMAZING experience. We've been to other bjs and its been good but this time it was incomparable. Our waitress Isabella or Isabelle, I apologize for not getting the correct name. But she was incredible. She was knowledgeable and was so easy to talk to. She kept making sure we were OK and she was just AMAZING.

From the moment I walked in, they were visible, approachable, and clearly committed to creating a welcoming environment. They didn’t just oversee operations, they actively engaged with customers, answered questions with patience, and made sure the checkout process ran smoothly even during peak hours BJ’s is lucky to have a manager who leads with heart and hustle. Perfect! This was our first visit and everything we ordered was great. Our server was very nice and attentive. She was also really sweet with our kids and answered all our questions about the menu. We went with all her recommendations. Husband ordered the glazed double pork chop and I had the lemon thyme chicken. Both the chicken breast and pork chop were tender, juicy and flavorful. The calamari was some of the best we've had. *Yes. The plate they served the pork chop on was too big and looked weirdly empty.*

Warren is the best bartender excellent service and time management. He took care of every one of our needs and kept up with refills with the whole bar full. The drinks were awesome my favorite was the lemon drops and the burgers are always great.

Nice night out with friends. The restaurant was busy however the noise was muffled so you could easily talk without shouting. We split a pizza with cold beer and iced tea. The service was attentive without being rushed. You should go and find out.

We really enjoy coming here. The food is delicious, and hot, and a good value for the money. The bartender, Axel is always super helpful, with an amazing attitude, and even a joke or two. We come quite often for the lunch, special, and specifically sit at the bar because we know we’re gonna be taken care of.

Really good! A little bit of everything American food in the menu. Everything we ordered was great. Really good portions too. Bar service with everything you can think of, good menu and good deserts. Chill ambiance, and it does get very crowded. There's a nice fountain outside where you can sit by and wait. The staff was super nice and friendly.

If you’re looking for the perfect dinner spot for everyone to enjoy, BJ’s is the place. The food is always delicious with plenty of variety, and I always have such a good experience. We go so often we even have our usual server now, Kat B. She always takes amazing care of us and has such great energy. No matter who I bring, they always ask for her by name the next time they go.

My friend and I sat at a booth up by the bar. We were catching up on things going on in lives, and I ordered the $13 pizookie meal. Mine was the chicken parmigiana. It was lunch size, so it wasn’t too much, but it had excellent flavoring. It also got me my pizookie. If you haven’t had a pizookie—hot and fresh soft cookie in a tin with ice cream on top…it is a dream come true in your mouth. It is the perfect dessert. Our server Amber L. was great, and my friend absolutely loved her salad that had strawberries in it.

Aaron was the absolute best. Not only found my go to menu item, the Parmesan Crusted Chicken that he recommended, but also ended up trying the peach boba marg that he mentioned which was also so good! Great food/drinks and even better service. Will definitely be visiting Aaron soon!

Been coming to BJs for years as a returning customer. Kimmy and Warren provide us excellent personalize service and treats us not as another customer but as friends. All the food and drinks are excellent. Probably my favorite sports bar in New Braunfels!

I recently went back to one of my favorites here in New Braunfels. BJ’s Brewhouse. First off the service was amazing especially for it being a Sunday afternoon. Secondly the waitress I had was very efficient, fast, and very knowledgeable, not to mention had a great attitude the entire experience. I enjoyed the brisket burger with a side of fries and the company I had ordered wings (which were amazing). I highly recommend either of the entrees for anyone looking to take a twist on their traditional style of food. I also order two of BJ’s speciality, their Pizookies. Pictured are their white macadamia nut, and the brownie pizookie. 10/10 rating!

Warren is an amazing bartender. Very personable, fast and efficient. The food is always good here. John one of the managers is do friendly and will deal with any issue quickly and professionally. This is definitely one of my regular go to spots.

We always dine midafternoon and usually sit with our favorite server, Lindsay. She knows the unique needs of my son and always caters to our family and helps our experience feel “normal”. Today she had some very difficult tables surrounding us but the attention she was able to give us while trying to appease these “kind folks” (I say that lightly) was impressive. I overheard a table with absolutely bonkers requests and it made me chuckle bc I thought that WE were normally difficult, but these folks take the cake. We normally choose to go mid afternoon so that we aren’t there during a busy time, but for some reason today it seemed busier than normal. She handled everyone with grace (although some didn’t seem deserving) and still made our family feel like we were as important as always. Dylan loves his visits to enjoy his pizookie and piadiner. It was especially delicious today.

Always enjoy the food every time we come. We had Amber L as our server a couple times and she’s always been on top of our drinks and service is always great. Always feel welcomed, never rushed, even if it’s near closing time.

It was first time visiting this location which had good service and plenty of parking. The breadsticks tasted fresh and came with a delicious marinara sauce. The classic crispy chicken sandwich was bigger than we expected, was perfectly fried and crispy. The bread was toasted nicely, and the fries tasted good as well. It was the first time trying the pizza here and will definitely order it again. The pizza was very cheesy, dough was cooked perfectly, and came with plenty of toppings. The dessert was amazing.

Our experience was incredible! Our server Craig was hilarious and very attentive. The manager Carly is so kind and friendly as well. The food was delicious, as were Laila the bartender’s drinks for our table. BJ’s is now the home of our weekly girls night dinner :) The atmosphere was so great seriously. I brought my family here for the first time. We had been to other locations but never to this one. The environment was super nice and had a very good vibe. We really liked the water fall out in the front of the restaurant. It was really nice at night. We ordered Chicken parmesan,some fries, a salad , a pizza and a dessert that was to die for. We had a great time as a family and will be going back for sure. The only issue is that they seemed short staffed and the wait time for the dessert was a little long. I recommend ordering while you are still eating but almost done so you won't be waiting for so long for dessert. 😉 it was fresh and delicious though. We had the cookies and cream ice cream on a cookie. 💯

I normally don't do reviews, but I have to say I was extremely impressed with the service I received from this BJ's location. My family and I were met with an extremely welcoming hostess who was able to seat us quickly. Our waiter was amazing and very attentive. I normally complain about always having to flag a waiter down, but this time our waiter constantly dropped by without being asked. We did not have to ask for refills, condiments, or napkins. Food came out quick, and was delicious. Everything was just done to perfection. Kudos to this staff for the great work!

We came for Valentine’s date night and had a great experience. It’s been a while since we’ve been to BJ’s and we wanted to come. I strongly recommend people signing up on the waitlist prior to coming in. I also recommend people getting the app, you can get rewards points in the app as well as first time sign up to get a free Pizooki cookie. We thought that our experience was great, the atmosphere the music that was played and the service were top-notch for a great date night. I will say I’m not a fan of the ribs, there’s definitely room for improvement there. All the other food was delicious.

We did the appetizer spicy sriracha queso it was good. I had the Bacon-Guacamole Deluxe Burger it was good bread was a little dried out. My son had the kids wings tossed in buffalo. Our service was great very attentive.

It has been awhile since I have had BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse for a meal, but I was in the mood for a salad and the dog was hungry too so I decided to order in. For the most part I was satisfied and on one item I was not impressed at all, but we will get to that later. Alright, so as is my usual tradition I always start with the “As Delivered” photos. All items came in a bag that was quite nice and quite frankly I wish would exist at the grocery store for 2-liter bottles. Just saying Walmart. Each item was clearly labeled which I thought was nice and as a result I didn’t take a photo of the receipt and took a different approach with the lid instead. Right out of the gate we have the total layout, which is then followed by the Enlightened Seared Ahi Tuna Salad, a burger Patty for my dog, and Asparagus. Since I did not focus much on the other items, I will start with those. The burger patty was pretty good, uncooked to what I requested (Med-Rare), but with a couple slices of bread and processed cheese Patton (Dog) did not complain. I took a bite and felt that it was pretty good. I’m picky about my burgers and maybe a minute more would have made me a bit more confident on where we were at cooking wise. I know where we cook burgers to, so not fussing too much on this one as better to serve it right. It died once already. The Asparagus: Mom always told me “If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all.” As a result of this Acorn of wisdom that grew into an Oak tree, I shall say nothing. The Salad was quite the interesting character in the equation but not in a bad way at all. I did find the Wasabi to be a bit of an adventure to integrate, but that is to be expected. Next time I will mix it into the dressing as I should have done in the first place as it really added a nice little bit of heat. Just don’t do it like I did, or you’ll get a pretty good amount of Wasabi and depending on your tongue, it might just ruin the whole bite. I found the Vinaigrette to be pretty good and the amount provided was plenty once I mixed it in a separate bowl. There is more than enough salad here for two so I would say to keep that in mind if you think you are going to mix this on your plate. It might be a good idea to get a separate bowl if on a date. Now to the Ahi Tuna. I’m mixed here as I have no complaint on the way it was cooked. I did find it a bit salty and maybe that is just me, but with the lettuce and the dressing it was salty in taste versus when I had just the greens (Lettuce and dressing). Sadly, I found the salad more enjoyable by ignoring the Ahi Tuna, but there is no point in paying that much for a salad without it. Final Thoughts: I think that this location did a nice job, and I was quite happy with the quality of the food that they assembled for delivery. I think it could easily rate an excellent and I loved the labeling that was on each container. Pretty awesome in my book and, aside from my own quirks, I really think this place can prepare some pretty darn good food for delivery. I would however suggest going to the location as my driver got lost for a century and I wondered if their car fell through a portal in the parking lot as I was waiting for my food even though it was ready on time. Restaurant was on time and that I can tell by the ticket. Grub Hub. Find a better driver! Go there and support local folks New Braunfels as they rock!! 😊

Loved the food. But for some reason they couldn't give me all flats for my wings. Sent it back and it came out the 1 flat and the rest drums. Then the dessert took 30 mins. Came in at 5:50. Left at 8. Didn't wait to be seated. Not sure what happened tonight. Waitress was awesome tho.

We have eaten here several times. The food is very good in general. My spouse gets the Italian Bowl and I get different things. The hamburgers are very good. I got the California Club Sandwich and it was very good. The ambiance is good. The waiters have been excellent. A great place to go because of the variety.

we had an excellent meal but our service was so bad we had Kadence as a server she decided to take care of every other table but us and saying rude comments to us when we would ask a question. every time we would say thank you she would simply mhm or uh huh . when it was time for the check we were explaining it how we wanted it split and she said “how do i explain this to you”.

Came to eat dinner with family, host was super greeting as soon as we walked in. As soon as we sat down service started going downhill. We had to ask 3 waiters for some ranch and our waitress kept forgetting to get our boxes to go. Food was good overall but service not so much.

Jumbo Pasta with meatballs was easily the worst pasta meal I’ve ever had. I should have predicted the outcome. 😣 HEB frozen meal does it better. Their roast beef au jus, on the other hand, is very tasty.

Started out amazing! Drinks came pretty quick and so did the appetizer. We ordered a second round of chips while waiting for the food and only have the waitress stop by twice the next 15 mins asking if they'd brought them out yet, out food came before the chips. We get through the meal and order dessert and are waiting another 30 mins for that and a Togo pizza before we get it brought out after no longer really interested in sitting there for dessert. No drink refills while we sat and only asked about ordering another cocktail at the end of service. The personal pizza for $15 was by far the biggest waste of money and rip-off I've ever paid for. The pizza was mostly thick crust with skimpy sauce and a fraction of toppings I'd expect for that much money. This might have been the smallest pizza I've ever seen.

Very Disappointing. There quality of food has been on the decline. Typically food has little to no flavor (can't take a picture of that). But just ordered a family Pizookie to go and received this. Surprised the manager allows this type of for presentation. Looks burnt on top but was still under cooked. I just wish they put little more effort and cared about how the food looked and tasted.

I usually like BJ’s, but this visit was frustrating from start to finish. I ordered a cheeseburger with no sauce, and it came out without cheese and covered in sauce. I sent it back, but by the time the replacement finally arrived, my $14 spinach and artichoke dip had gone cold — which felt like a waste. My date’s steak wasn’t that great either, and she was just as frustrated as I was. The waitresses kept rushing past our table so quickly that we couldn’t get their attention to fix anything. Then it took forever just to get the check — and even longer for them to run my card. It dragged on so long that I finally asked for my freshly fixed burger to be put in a to-go box so I could reheat the dip and eat at home. Overall, the food was disappointing, the service was rushed but oddly slow where it mattered, and it felt like nobody cared about getting anything right. Definitely not worth what we paid.

Not great. I ordered a medium steak and was served a very very rare steak. When the waitress asked us how we were, I mentioned my steak she copped an attitude like it was my fault. I called and asked for the manager, and was left on hold indefinitely.

My husband & I have eaten here numerous times and have always loved the atmosphere, food and service. It has always been fantastic. However we went on 12/24/25 and the food was aweful and so was the service. My soup was literally cold. I sent it back and when I got it the 2nd time it was barely warm. My husband ordered loaded mashed potatoes and got plain mashed. When he told the waiter they brought him cheese and bacon on the side but now the potatoes were cold. They also had a limited time special beer advertised on the table but when we tried to order it they said it was no longer being offered. Our waiter was not friendly and only asked how we were doing 1x. When we asked to speak to the manager, he wasn’t any better. No apologies were even offered. I guess no one wanted to be there so the guests had to suffer. It was an aweful experience.

Service was fine, the server was sweet. Atmosphere was as expected, no issues. But the food… absolutely terrible. One bad plate, okay, maybe a cooks mistake or a picky eater. But 4 disappointing plates? The pizza, no sauce. Not even a little. Didn’t realize it til I got home and asked my kids why they didn’t eat much. They just didn’t want to interrupt the dinner to mention it. (Pic added for reference). Salmon, overcooked and dry. Steak, asked for med/rare closer to rare, came out medium with no flavor. But the waitress did bring A1 without being asked, it’s like she already knew the steak was going to suck. Slow roast beef dip, nothing thin sliced at all as the menu says. Thick chunks that were tough to chew through. It was a bday celebration so we didn’t say a word, no reason to ruin the vibe or make the waitress uncomfortable by complaining about half of the table of food. We didn’t have time to sit around for it to be fixed. We simply won’t be back. We’re local, and won’t recommend it.

We came to BJ’s and sat in a booth by the bar late in the evening. It was me my husband, my sister and her boyfriend. My husband ordered an alcoholic drink (we are both 21) and I ordered what was supposed to be a “non-alcoholic” mocktail. The waitress checked my husband’s ID and went to start the drinks. However the night manager came over to the table and said she needs to see IDs from everyone at the table. Me and my husband kindly obliged but we were met with judge-mental looks. My ID was asked for due to the drink being “alcohol removed” with a small amount of alcohol. Which I understand what I did not understand was the way she was looking at my husband’s ID (who happens to be Hispanic) she spent almost five minutes looking at him from all different angles and then looking at the ID over and over. This was already feeling uncomfortable until she took it a step further and looked into my husband’s wallet and saw his old ID from when he was under 21 not even valid. She proceeds to ask him for his old ID and stares at both of the IDs for about 2 minutes looking at him and then the ID. When she finally finished looking, the IDs were handed back and she told my husband “I’m not a cop but I’m pretty sure that it’s illegal to have your old ID” making us very uncomfortable. Ruined our whole experience the rest of the time we were extremely uncomfortable and actually ended up asking for our food to go. Our server was great, but due to the management, we will not be coming back. We will be telling everyone to avoid coming here unless they want their dining experience, uncomfortable, and ruined. I’ve seen other reviews here about possible racism towards Hispanics who come into this restaurant. I hope this problem can be solved So customers can have an enjoyable experience.

Very slow service even though not very busy. Ordered the crispy jalapeno burger although should've been named the soggy jalapeno....The ingredients didn't work.

Recently brought our daughter and grandson home from the hospital and she wanted BJ's. Unfortunately, nothing was as ordered and nothing was done to correct it. Extreme pepperoni was a joke, well-done steak was all hella pink and the the strawberry pazookie was only a sugar cookie and vanilla ice cream. I tried to reach out to them first but nothing was done. What an expensive underwhelming meal, lessons learned

1 of the party of 4 got her plate after we were all done. Before she received her plate. Addressed problem to manager. He immediately blamed customer for changing her mind at last minute. Told him that never happened. And food . Buns on hamburgers also my pizza was really toasted. Friends and I refuse to ever go in a BJ'S. Bad service,manager she didn't even get a discount. So many other restaurants to choose but not BJS
