Been going to this Shipley donuts since it opened.... My kids still do too.! Jalapeño kolaches have some decent kick to them too.!!!

Shipleys Donuts has been my go to since I was a kid. The jalapeño kolaches have a lil bite.!!! Really nice folks!

The front counter girl was very helpful with an order and was really kind and nice to my little girl, she even spoke Spanish to her and my little one got so shy. Lol. Thank you guys for the hard work in make good kolaches and donuts, nice and fresh.

I love their sausage rolls and donut holes. Always have a great variety on donuts. And yeah, they have my favorite fountain drink....Diet Dr. Pepper.

I totally went back for MORE SHIPLEY and LOVED IT ALL OVER AGAIN!!! Teresa is the best. We love the Shipley Do-Nuts

In a world where the food service industry gouges consumers for every penny, it’s nice to know that I can still get great coffee and donuts that are actually delicious and made on site for under $6.00. I watch my weight and don’t treat myself often, but I make it a point to make at least one trip to Shipley’s every time I am in TX. A must -try are the fruit-filled donuts. Tons of filling and absolutely delicious! Other donut shops barely have any filling and don’t make their own donuts. Shipley’s is one of the few shops remaining who still believes in quality.

I came several times and at different times and my donuts continue to be hot and fresh and the kolaches are delicious. Very friendly staff.

Really good fresh doughnuts with many flavors to pick from. Even some that a certain other doughnut chain no longer makes. Hard to eat just one, or two. Especially love all the jelly filled flavors. Staff was quick to serve and friendly.

Good donuts and coffee. I ordered two apple fritters and coffee. The coffee is okay but not their specialty. However, there was so much delicious chunky apple filling in the first pastry that I was too full to eat the second. The seating area is small, but the staff kept the service area and bathrooms clean despite the brisk pace. A good place for a quick pick-me-up when passing through New Braunfels on IH-35, drivers can also tank up their vehicles at the nearby Pilot gas station.

First time here. Nice brunette woman at the drive thru ~ 8 AM helped me select an assortment for the kids and staff at the YMCA Summer Camp. Thanks they said everyone enjoyed them.

Nice and friendly staff and fair prices. My family loves their cheese and sausage kolaches. I like their donut holes in chocolate donuts and there coffee is good too. Always good for breakfast.

Love this place. I give 99 out of 100. Only one time some rude older lady gave me a dozen day old donuts. I was so infuriated but the other 99 times were perfect.

The pastry that has replaced the traditional apple fritter is just disappointing! Don’t mess with a good thing , won’t order that again!

Usually love Shirley’s but this time all of my donut holes were halfway cooked, leaving me with a raw middle. Will still come back but hopefully this was just an off day

Went their the other day again and no doughnuts and what they had was old. What is going on with them. They need to be constant with their stock of doughnuts and coffee. Not good just for an hour. Everytime I go their now the shelves are empty and the limited amount of doughnuts are stale. No bear claws no maple bars and the cream in them tastes like granualed sugar.

They were okay, apple fritter is different from most donut shops. I don't like it. And another donut I was drooling over online they did not have it at the store. So plain donuts it was!

I came here to get some donuts to satisfy my craving, they have good options but the donuts themselves made me disappointed, they were not very good. We also got kolaches a half dozen for $15 and they were pitiful, barely filled and very disappointing.

Terrible attitudes of whoever was working the shift today from 10 AM to close more than likely. Was so excited this morning to get my donuts to start my day off right, and I figured I would ask for an iced coffee or some other drink to go with. The rude, white lady working the window rolled her eyes, let out a huge sigh and shut me down immediately. It’s one thing to be so upset when you are at work, but to be giving off that energy to the customers? Give me a break. It truly is the little things these days that keep you going back to businesses, and this is exactly why I will not come back or recommend this location.

So Disappointed! I have a small addiction to apple fritters, and patronize the Shipley's in Waco more then I want to admit. I feel comfortable in my knowledge of what an apple fritter is and what to expect. The apple fritters here are a sham and frankly disgusting! It is a jelly donut type with apple pie filling, and less then half the size of the ones I get in Waco and other places. I was borderline furious when I bit into it and cold pie filling squirted out the other side. It took all my strength not to go back inside and question the insight of what monster thought this was a good idea. Never again!

The teenager, with great attitude, behind the counter would not cut the donuts in half because she did not have a knife. I asked ...."so you tell me there is not one knife in the whole shop.."..she stared blankly at me. Perhaps the manager would like to know how much money he lost this morning as it was a very large order.

I wish I could give this 0 stars the lady in line was rude the food disgusting and cold.. I will never waste my money here again

This seems to be the only place in town where the food workers aren’t wearing and protective gear. No masks/ gloves, nothing. The donuts are good but they’re obviously not concerned about the public heath. So so so disappointing coming from a business that’s been in our community for so long.

Just got home, ordered half dozen glaze, 2 cream filled, two cinnamon rolls, 4 jalapeno kalaches, and 2 half dozen donuts holes, with 2 large dr pepper. They forced me to change the Dr peppers to cokes and they did not give me my 2 dozen donuts hole. I love there donuts but I won't be back after being shorte. Sounds petty but we all have our own things going on in life and that was important. I'm very angry about being shorted after spending over 22 dollars. You need to get it together.

They have stopped having the choices that are offered through DoorFash or Favor. Then when you tell them what you will take instead, that send some off the wall trash.

There's nothing like a dozen of smashed donuts in a tiny box. It would be much more appealing to put a dozen donuts in the flat box. Even my 1yr old didn't want to eat any. I'd add pictures, but it's too unappetizing.Poor service.

Even showed them my bank account to prove I paid for it. Chunky from the back couldn’t stop shouting and being rude implying it was my fault that their website doesn’t know how to properly process payments. Ended up having to pay AGAIN for the donuts. Only giving an extra star to the register girl because she was kind. Be respectful people. Edit: they got our whole entire order wrong. How incompetent do you have to be? The copy and paste response is so annoying. Bye.

I love there kolache’s here but I always have the wurst experience when I come through the drive through. They have one of the most rude woman working the drive through. She gave me so much attitude and was being very very disrespectful. I’m not trying to be a Karen of any sort but due to the disrespect she gave me and my boyfriend I will not be coming here again. I love the food but customer service is terrible.

Very rude . Worker named Patti .Was rude to me and also rude to other workers . One cashier was serving me very nice attitude. And Patti just totally disrespected me and he just to move and pushed her out of the way and she had to go to another register. I paid her and left her a nice tip. For her great attitude.

I come often on Friday mornings before 9 am and if there was another donut spot I would go there but this is the only one on the way to my sons daycare. The lady at the window that always where’s a white shirt and glasses is so rude and her attitude taking the order is not friendly every time I go I want to send in a complaint but this is my first time she acts like giving extra napkins is an issue as if it comes out of her check or something or grabbing a few extra napkins is to much extra work for her but I’m giving a four year old donuts so the extra napkins are needed. I work in fast food and the order taker sets the tone of the visit. She needs to find another job or not work the window. It says Cindy on my receipt but I’m not sure if that’s her name but please someone help her fix her attitude I read y’all’s other reviews and I seen other comments about the person working the window is rude so it’s not just me with this opinion about her My donuts are delicious though but her attitude makes me not want to go back there anymore

Was picking up a DoorDash order. They told me they didn’t have a certain donut for the order. I asked if they had contacted the customer. They told me no and that it’s my responsibility. I don’t work there. It’s their responsibility. They proceeded to argue with me, as I contacted the customer. The customer didn’t respond, and the store gave them random donuts. This is the second time they have refused to contact the customer. It’s called customer service. Don’t go here!!!
