Airi Poke and Ramen New Caney Reviews
The server was very nice and understanding when we didnt look satisfied with what we were ordering. He was very attentive and sweet. The restaurant is quaint and cute with red dim lighting. Food was great. Ramen 🍜🍥 Never had chicken broth ramen taste so good (I only do tonkatsu). I was plesantly shocked to taste seasoning on their grilled chicken for it lol Their miso ramen was super flavorful and actually not bland - slight nuttyness and rich broth. Noodle have a good bite and they give a hearty amount for the price - not egg noodle style. If you like spice, you'll need some chilli oil on the side because their "spicy" Ramen is very weak lol Bites🍣🍤 Rock n Roll sushi was fresh and great - slightly bigger than usual places imo. Their calamari rings were perfectly cooked and not too chewy. Their shrimp Tempura was a little different than traditional Tempura because it wasnt light and airy. The Tempura batter was more like panko which is odd because the calamari was more tempura style. Great spot for low key sushi and ramen. Will come again.
This place is awesome EVERY time! The pork belly bao is a must try, and the spicy garlic edamame is to die for. Always great service and food here so give them a try!
First time coming here and it was definitely a great experience. We wanted something different than the normal restaurants we eat every day and this was perfect. The atmosphere was very relaxing and welcoming, the food was very good, and the service was great. Everyone was very friendly and polite. Will be coming here more often.
First time here. Great place and the food is so delicious. Chicken spicy Ramen is so delicious. The black garlic ramen is so good too. The spicy cucumbers , chicken yaki udon, crab rangoons were so delicious. I definitely recommend this place to anyone that loves a great Ramen soup.
Came here with my cousin for lunch on a Wednesday. I had been to another Airi Ramen, so I wanted to check this one out! Just like the Airi Ramen location, this one had great staff and food! We started with some edamame while waiting for our ramen, and it was the perfect start to our meal, nice and hot with just the right hint of salt. Our ramen came out quickly and was delicous. The wonton ramen had a lot of wontons, and they had a nice and juicy chicken filling. This location is a bit bigger than the other one I have been to. It had beautiful lantern decorations
Really cool place. Ive only been to two other ramen places here in Texas and this is my favorite so far. I had the spicy chicken ramen and my son had the yummy chicken Ramen. Both had very tasty broth, and vegetables. The chicken was a little bland but it is soup so i can understand that. Everything else in the bowl was perfect and i would eat there many time over. We also had the fried gyoza and shumi. Bot amazing. Ive never had shumi but im sure when we go back ill get two orders! Just because we ordered a side order of katsu chicken. Now this chicken had good flavor and crunch. Combined with your perfect bite of chicken, noodles and broth. Your going to be happy with the result! I gave five stars because i had no issues with customer service which our waitress was very knowledgeable about the food and recommendations. The atmosphere is as pictures on other reviews japanese vibe. And of course we really enjoyed the food. If you get a chance and like Ramen check it out.
Excellent service and even better food! Soon as you walk in your greeted with a friendly server an seated. If you don't have any idea of what to order, the staff more than happy to help you choose a meal. They have a bar with a plethora of drinks to choose, from domestic an imported beers to sake, and wine. Seriously recommend this place!!
Initial thoughts: it was a vibe. I came in before 3, so I was the only customer at the time, but the experience was solid from start to finish. The food was piping hot, fresh, and delicious, and the staff was genuinely friendly. We ended up talking for a bit, and I got to learn the history of the restaurant, which made the visit even better. Real, easy conversation. I paid around $25 with tip included, and for that price, the quality was there. Everything tasted good and came out hot, which always matters. That said, it didn’t keep me full for very long—I was hungry again about an hour later. Not a dealbreaker, just something worth noting. Overall, good food, good energy, and good people. Definitely a pleasant stop.
My first time visiting here as I’m new to the area. I asked to not be seated by the open door as it was very cold this day and I got some attitude for asking. But my waitress was sweet and kind. My Ramen was yummy, I asked for spicy and they didn’t add it but I didn’t want to cause a stink.
It’s a very cute restaurant, quiet and nice atmosphere. Service was a bit slow, but maybe because they only had one waitress, although there were maybe only 3 tables in the whole restaurants we came in for lunch and my husband and I had Poké bowls ( hard to mess those up) and our daughter had kids menu shrimp and fries. The food was good, not spectacular. I ordered Airi Poke and the sauce didn’t seem to match the combination. It was a bit too sweet for me. It looked great though! Presentation of all the dishes was great.
I love the way their remodeling is looking! The food and service here were great! I got the Pork Belly Bao Buns. They're big, so one would have been enough. I wish the Pork Belly had a little more flavor. It felt like it relied to heavily on the sauce to carry the flavor. I did not like the Wonton Soup. It literally just tastes like canned chicken broth. The service here was excellent.
Good but wouldn't return for poke. We've had the ramen in hr past and enjoyed it. The staff was polite; the restaurant was clean and well decorated and bathrooms were tidy. Spicy garlic edamame was great (and Very spicy). Although tasty, the prices were pretty high imo for poke and with only 4 bowl options (and no customization allowed). Similar prices elsewhere will get you double helpings of protein and the ability to choose the veggies. The slanted bowls that the poke bowls are served in make for pretty pictures but mean you get less food in the bowl and they're harder to mix/eat. Plenty of other items on the menu that I'd go with instead.
Food was really good, however, my server Era was extremely slow. Me and my husband waited for 10 minutes watching our food sitting at the window while he was on his phone. He was constantly on his phone during my stay and I even saw him cussing out one of his coworkers today, which was extremely unprofessional.
***KEEP YOUR RECEIPT AND MONITOR YOUR BANK ACCOUNT*** My two daughters and I dined at this restaurant during lunch time on 02/16/26. We had two bowls of the spicy chicken ramen, one bowl of the wonton chicken ramen, two root beers, and a peach tea. The bill was $58.81 and I tipped $10.00 totaling $68.81. The charge is posting to my account for $73.81. Charging a debit card for an amount more than what the SIGNED receipt states is fraud.
I did not eat here however I went in tonight to place a to go order and the total was substantially larger than the prices they had advertised on the to go menu. When I asked about it, they said that the pricing for the dinner menu you had changed but they just never changed the to go menu pricing so I canceled my entire order and I walk over to a different restaurant to get dinner. I'm walking back to my car and the hostess runs outside stops when she goes Are you gonna pay for when you ordered because she apparently thought that I only canceled the edamame I ordered and I said no I told you I was canceling both and left because your prices were different than what you advertised. She then decided to make a smart remark of oh I guess I'm just paying for it then will definitely never eat here because of that.
I used to love this place. Great food and service was always wonderful. I went twice this past month however and both times I got to witness a male server (I later asked someone for his name, Era) harass his two female coworkers on two separate occasions?? I cannot in good conscience keep giving my money to such an establishment.
The food was good but they have what is in my opinion is deceptive pricing. The beef bowl was listed on menu as $15.95 and they charged me $17.95. Manager pointed to menu and said pricing subject to change without notice and said menu is old and wouldn't fix the pricing. Will never go back and wouldn't recommend.
