Dehi New Rochelle Reviews
The place is very clean, the food it is so delicious, like homemade.
Amazing food. Chill staff.
Best Jamaican food I have tried! Bbq jerk chicken and their mac and cheese is 10/10. Highly recommend.
Had the chance to cater from this amazing restaurant for a special event and everything was on point. The owner and team worked with me to make sure my order was delivered in a timely manner. The food was more than amazing and I look forward to dining in one of these days. Thanks Hushawn and team.
I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious meal. The order came on time, and it was warm as if I was dining. I had the fried chicken, and it was seasoned to the bone .Overall the food was impeccable, and I can't wait to order again.
Great food and service from Sean and the team at Di Kitchen! Have to try the jerk chicken, fried chicken, and rice and peas. Will definitely be back.
Tried this spot for the first time, had the curry chicken , it eat nice !! 😎 ( if you know, you know)
Costco employees are very pleased with the great food and amazing service. Thank you 😊
Food is always fresh partnered with good customer service.
Food is excellent and not expensive. Will continue to order from this restaurant.

Food was great seasoned really well an great atmosphere
Delicious oxtail and Mac and cheese!!
Gotta get the oxtail!
I live in Dallas, but had to be in New Rochelle for business. I ate at several places in New Rochelle and Manhattan and this place was at the top of the list for great food. The jerk chicken was amazing, the staff were friendly, I’d go back if I could.
Best Jamaican in NewRo
This evening my husband bought home oxtail and Rasta pasta. I have had the Rasta pasta before but tonite it was just the best well seasoned and not runny. The oxtail so soft and welled season just like we cook at home. The bones from the oxtail were so delicious. If I can suck the bones that means the chief has done his job. Well done chief. Much love Barbara
This place is super yummy! I was walking around after my gym workout and saw a little girl handing out flyers for the restaurant! She was so kind and the restaurant smelled delicious so I went in!! the prices were very reasonable and the man who served me at the counter was very nice and packed my plate too!! I absolutely recommend the stew chicken with rice and peas.
I was very impress with the food and atmosphere. I I ordered the Brown Stew Fish with Peas and Rice and I loved it. A few days later I ordered Curry Goat with White Rice and also loved it. If you are looking for tasty, flavorful and authentic Jamaican food, I definitely recommend this Restaurant!
Best Jerk Chicken in New Rochelle. Try the jerk chicken with bbq sauce, exceptional.
Fantastic knowledgeable service. Super fresh and mouth-watering meal. Firstly, the fried chicken was perfectly seasoned and tender. Also, the Mac and cheese was cheesy and had a sensational flavor. Personally, I enjoyed the Soursop drink, refreshing and reminded me of back home. Nevertheless, the service was top-notch. Shawn and Di Kitchen team, was polite and courteous. Overall, it's a fantastic place to eat. Thus, I would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant.
I met the owner of the restaurant yesterday and had a great conversation and a delicious meal while I was there. Some of the best Jerk Chicken I've had in a long time. This place is definitely worth checking out. Your taste buds will thank you! Amazing food Fresh made juice
When I walked in, I was immediately greeted by a staff member named Shawn with a warm welcome. It was my first time at the restaurant but I love Jamaican food so I immediately went for the oxtail. It came with rice and peas, a couple pieces of sweet plantain (make sure you ask for the plaintain), and cabbage. 10/10 the flavors didn’t disappoint!! I just moved to New Rochelle and find it hard to find good Caribbean cuisine. I’m so happy I discovered this restaurant. I’m definitely adding it to my rotation weekly. I can’t wait to try their other dishes. Everything smells and look delicious. Also, if it’s in stock, ask for their sour sop juice. It tastes like coquito but a lighter version. It’s AMAZING! Take my word for it and go try it yourself :).
I get lunch from there almost every day. The food is always good, the guys know me, its always god vibes. I go there mostly because of the prices.... $10 lunch special. They just introduced soup to the menu and its good good. Im from Barbados so from a Caribbean person, that speaks wonders. Keep up the goodness!
By far the best Jamaican food I’ve ever had in Westchester. The oxtail literally melted in your mouth and was sooooo flavorful, the fried chicken was literal perfection and the curry shrimp was big and juicy! Will be a staple for me going forward!
We got the Oxtail, candied yams, and the jerk chicken. Everything was fantastic, the portions were huge! The oxtail and chicken were juicy and fall off the bone delicious! Everything from the rice and veggies to the main entrees had tons of flavor! We will definitely be going back soon! I highly recommend this place!
The food was seriously incredible! I mean, the flavors were out of this world. I got the ribs and sweet chili wings and it was pure perfection. The ribs were juicy and tender. I was in heaven! I would definitely go back to this restaurant again and again. It's a must-try for all the foodies out there! 🤤
Usually go to sweet spice on north, love the wagon on third in MV. Just noticed Di's kitchen today ( been there 3years)and tried it, absolutely spectacular top of the list for me right now awsome lunch specials. The jerk chicken was spot on and the vegetables were fresh as can be tasted so good. I'll be back.
After reading a few reviews I decided to give Di Kitchen a try. This is one of the most hospitable and friendly restaurants. Today I decided to try fish, not my normal vegan diet. The snapper was made fresh to order. The love, flavor and seasoning that went into this dish, is beyond words. Delicious, Delicious, Delicious. I will be back.

Solid takeout for a decent price. I don’t know much about Jamaican food, so I ordered safe - Jerk Chicken with rice/beans. It was quite yummy, and I washed it down with a unique tasting soda. Service was pleasant and efficient. A solid option if you’re in New Rochelle.
Delicious food. Easy to get to from the Residence Inn.
Golden Krust is better and that says a lot, new Chef needed or better spices man, make the food look more presentable - when cutting the chicken cut those big pieces in half and make it look appetizing, it’s the details and the taste
I had food from here a few weeks ago. For a medium jerk chicken, I was only given one piece of chicken, which was a thigh attached to the leg, cut in those two pieces. There was no cabbage on my plate with the chicken and rice and peas. I think there are better Jamaican spots elsewhere in the area, with better flavors and more bang for the buck. I don't understand how a restaurant can be so stingy with the portion size of a medium plate of food.

I wish I could leave no stars. For $20 I expected more than 3 pieces of ox tail for a large order. The Mac and cheese was Mac and Velveta cheese. The curry goat..smh, was curry deer meat. Never again would I order from there.
Veg Rice was hard -1 star. Small Serving size -1. Curry Chicken Need More Flavor -1. Is More expensive then Golden Krust -1. Hot Food +1
This food is terrible.. fried chicken in old grease is disgusting. Called to let them know. He told me they change oil every 3 days.. .. jerk chicken was pink and chewy. Nothing like smoke and spice.
Food was not good 😐
I’ve given this spot a few tries, but each time it’s been the same story: overpriced and underwhelming food. The prices seem to change every time I visit. When the older boss man is there, it’s one price, but when the younger guy is in charge, it's a whole different price and not in a good way. It feels like they're making it up as they go. The food itself is just so-so, especially for the price. I’ve had much better Jamaican food elsewhere. Honestly, it just doesn’t live up to the cost. I won’t be rushing back unless I’m absolutely starving and there’s nothing else open in the area. It's one of those places where you hope it’ll be better, but the food and service just don't justify the price.
The fruit punch has way too much ginger . The portion size for the money isn't worth it. For $24 I could of went else where for more. The jerk chicken thigh was too dry for me. I applaud the company though for effort not everyone can be a cook and taste where it's a 5 star. I know New Rochelle is expensive to rent and the business owners has to pay a lot and of course their prices must be high.. I totally get it And everyone's opinion on here. It would be a great idea for owners to take surveys to make their businesses more of a success. It never hurts to know where you can improve. I wish this business a great success and if it doesn't work out for the long run ask for people's input.
